Everything is 16g, all ball ends are 2mm with flat backs, 6mm length.
6mm length flat back 2mm balls
The snake is from body gems but I don’t have a link for him. I only shared these because it has been a huge pain in the ass finding dainty jewelry that is also 16g with flat backs for comfort sleeping. Love the 2mm balls but sometimes they try to sneak out my ear through the back.
hijacking your comment to link the piercing pillow I got for myself. It’s a little on the pricier side, but if you can swing it, it’s worth every penny. I was sleeping in pain (10 piercings on each ear) for four odd years before I bit the bullet and got the pillow. I sleep like a baby every night now :)
I don't know how you call them in english but over here in europe we have these metal or plastic basket thingies that you put over the drain so that it catches hair and other stuff. They are life savers!
I was checking out earrings on Amazon and found these "surgical titanium steel" earrings. The seller tries to tell me titanium is the same as steel.
Product in question https://www.amazon.com/Houpotao-Earrings-Stainless-Lightweight-Hypoallergenic/dp/B083WSLFKR
Yes buy little clear o-rings in 16 guage. You just unsnap the clicker and slide it on. Then you put it right up against the bottom hole so it won't turn into your ear if that makes since? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRWLFZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_WSM0XZMBS9XF6VGXC9X8 You could do 18g or 14g depending on how snug you want it.
Since I've had the lobes done for years, they're not too sensitive to different types of jewelry. I bought silver chains off Amazon and no problem with the material (tarnishing nor reactions)
Sterling Silver Tassel Threader Drop Earrings https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1IVATU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_tYCoAbHPF5PBP
I discovered these by accident and so glad I did! It's made cleaning so much better for my piercings. Especially for my daith, conch & snug❤️
Found these at my local HEB in the nail aisle. There were also another style next to them. A pointed end and a flat small circle.
I found the pointed ended ones on Amazon:
Fran Wilson Nail Tees Cotton Tips 120 Count (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NFUFQYC/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_.2cEBb2HGYKX3
These are other style I saw next to them and also found on Amazon: Fran Wilson Eye Tees Cotton Tips 80 Count (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M24IYF0/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_e5cEBbA7S2HEB
What are you using to clean it? I stopped cleaning mine with cotton wool/q-tips and switched to saline baths (dunking my nose in hot salty water) and a saline spray from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prontolind-Spray-75ml-antibacterial-modifications/dp/B004Q8S7WU) and my bump disappears and healed well! All advice I got from this thread!
It is. That's what the sterile saline spray is. The issues are that you need to get the ratio right (0.9%), submerging it will irritate it and it it's not sterile when you make it up so you're introducing bacteria.
You should be able to pick up the sterile saline spray at a chemist, at some piercers, on Amazon or at Walmart if you're in the US. It is also called wound wash in stores. All you need is a spray that remains sterile as you use it and it to only contain sodium chloride and water, in the right ratio. Here's a link to a good one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/NeilMed-Cleanse-Sterile-Saline-Wound/dp/B00YH9M1ZC
Honestly wouldn't fuck with anything in my ear with an unhealed tragus or daith. The amazon basics over-the-ear headphones are dirt cheap work well enough for temporary use, imo.
It’s actually my last piece that isn’t! I was going to buy one that was but I didn’t know the exact length and gauge I needed so I ordered one off of Amazon in September to check and it’s been chilling ever since. No issues at all but it is my oldest piercing!

Here is why bioflex is a bad option.
The thing about quality jewelry is that once you buy posts, you don't really ever need to buy new ones - you can continue to just buy ends, that are about the same price as the studs you want. In the long run, it's much more affordable and better for your body. Don't support companies that cheap out on things that are going into peoples' bodies. Your health is worth more than that.
Industrials are notorious for irritation and grumpiness in general. I think it looks like an irritation bump, but I’m not a doctor. Is it hot, constantly painful or throbbing? That’s usually signs of infection. Irritation bumps look kind of gross, but are just your body making a cushion since something keeps wiggling and bumping inside of it. Follow appropriate aftercare - sterile wound wash such as this twice a day then dry with either a hairdryer on cool setting or non-woven sterile gauze; and otherwise don’t touch it. Don’t look at it. Don’t breathe at it. It’s an industrial. They suck to heal. If it continues to be irritated I’d say change to two separate barbells made of implant-grade titanium and let them heal separately.
I unfortunately sold my soul to Jeff Bezos right here
Get non-pierced jewelry or use eyelash glue to put rhinestones where you think you want piercings, and chew on the idea until you're at least 18. Then, start with your lobes until you are certain that you have a career path that allows that many, especially facial, piercings. You can probably get away with a nose stud at most jobs. The snake bites are another story. Some jobs won't even allow cartilage piercings (or only up to a certain number).
I can’t tell if it rubbed your ear raw or if it snagged on your piercings? If it’s rubbing your ear too much, there are these little bands that you can attach your mask to instead of just attaching to your ears. I’ll see if I can find some links!
If it snagged on your piercings, once they’re healed up, seamless hoops may help. That way there isn’t a post to get snagged on and jostle your jewelry so much. I’d also get them checked with a piercer in your area to make sure that no severe damage was done.
Edit: I found some of the mask straps on Amazon relatively cheap. There are a bunch of styles and you can check Etsy for handmade ones, too!

First: you should not use tapers as jewelry. Their big, the weigh on your piercing in weird ways, they get knocked around a lot... it just isn't a good idea.
Second: you should not use acrylic in freshly stretched piercings!
Third: you... probably shouldn't use stone in freshly stretched piercings either. Porous materials are friends with bacteria, not with you. The best material for freshly stretched piercings is surgical stainless steel.
I think that it's fine to leave your plugs in when you soak, but if you want to take them out you should try guiding them in with a taper instead of trying to put them in by themselves.

One of my fave etsy jewelers. Her ear cuffs look pretty great, and she has a bunch of both pierced and non pierced jewellery.
Another pic where I'm not turning it.
I guess I should have take one of the underside too. Oops. Used to have a 3rd ladder rung, but there were sexual complications with one so near the base.
The apadravya used to be a Prince Albert. That process was neat to watch since I stretch the PA at the same time. He fed the taper in the bottom of the PA hole and out the urethra. Then he slipped the needle on to the taper and backed the whole contraption back out the PA hole back to vertical. Removed the taper and then rammed the needle through to make the apadravya. It was like a dance almost. :D
Thank you very much! 🌹 You're sister is awesome! 🐘😍 Just tried to get the link for you and they are out of stock! 😞 Found these ones though? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Elephant-Earrings-Sterling-Running-Hypoallergenic/dp/B08B7QYBH9/ref=mp_s_a_1_50?dchild=1&keywords=opal+elephant+earring&qid=1623092821&sr=8-50
Avoid picking scabs off it as best you can. Just spray with sterile saline, leave it a few minutes, dab off any excess with non woven gauze. As far as scabbing or crusties, before showering, spray with saline, wait a few minutes, and then rinse off when you’re in the shower. When you get out, you can wipe off any softened crusties that didn’t come off in the shower, if they come off. If they resist, just leave them and they’ll come off in the next shower, or the one after that, and so on.
As far as pillows, I’m currently healing piercings on both sides and this has been my best friend. I’ve tried every other option, believe me. It’s the notch for the shoulder that really does it.
Non woven pads (Soft, absorbent, medical grade non-woven pads), example: https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Stix-4x4-Esthetic-Wipe/dp/B0791Y5WS6 (or something similar). Or anything that's clean, soft, absorbent and does not leave fibers behind.
Tea tree does have anti-bacterial properties, but it also irritates a piercing. If you're healthy, you body does know how to deal with bacteria. No need to put anything on it.
Some yellowish green goop can happen in the first weeks/months. If it goes within days, there is no need to worry much.
Just keep taking care and keep them clean.
It looks like you probably want to search for dog bone piercings.
https://www.amazon.com/Nipple-Sield-Ring-Body-Piercing/dp/B01BMY8TS2
I found these on Amazon but I can't advocate the use of cheap jewelry. If you don't have problems with sensitivity to metal go for it but it is risky.
It’s actually from Amazon . It’s the only jewelry I have that’s not titanium, so it’s not suitable for new piercings, but I’ve had my third lobe for forever and take it out at night and it hasn’t bothered me!
Hi all, I wanted to post these 2 piercings because I know I’ve gone a bit of an untraditional route in terms of gauges, so I thought it may be a good idea to share in case anyone was considering downsizing, like I did!
So my daith was pierced at Haven Body Arts in Northampton, MA in late 2010. It was originally an ear heart, but 3 years after getting the piercing I found a single solid gold earring hoop on the floor of my dorm’s basement. I asked around for 2 weeks, but no one claimed it, so I took it home, sanitized it, and it’s been in my daith ever since. It’s a bit difficult to photograph, but here’s a slightly better photo.
My septum was done in late 2014 in some semi-sketchy parlor in Miami, FL (don’t remember the name, sorry). I love septums but have always been interested in a nose hugging, kinda hidden, minimal look. What I have found most comfortable (and am wearing here) is a gold-colored steel clicker from amazon. Previously I also tried 22g gold wire bent into a hoop, but it was incredibly uncomfortable, do not recommend, so I bought this clicker and have been using it ever since.
I can imagine that having thin gauges in a piercing (even a healed one) doesn’t go with best practices and seem to be uncommon, so I wanted to post mine here as a record in case anyone was thinking about doing something similar; when I was buying my septum wire I checked here to see if anyone was using 22g or 20g and found nothing, so I figured having some search results wouldn’t be a bad thing!
Edit: This is the septum clicker I have, if anyone was curious :)
Thanks, it’s my favorite piece! I got it off amazon, it’s pretty high quality too especially for the price ($9.99), i’ll throw in a link if you want ^^
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0743N3VGG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_uHADBbBVEBV46
it’s a 16g 8mm diameter, i got it off of amazon because poor college student though so it’s not actually a good quality piece of jewelry
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MPZ2Q7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Those pillows are the BEST. And they’re thin enough to just put on top of your regular pillow without getting a crick in your neck. Mine has a bite taken out of it that’s a perfect fit for my shoulder.
I bought this. If you look around there’s smaller and larger ones on amazon. After I got tired of my threadless posts sitting face down I also bought some foam sheets, cut them up, and put the ends in there so I can actually see them.
Piercings are not solutions to emotional and familial problems. If you are hoping that piercing your nose will somehow help, let me tell you from second-hand experience (watching others do this) that it causes far more issues. In addition to the health concerns that others have talked about, your parents will NOT react well. It might get ugly, and end with you having to take it out anyway.
Honestly, get a fake nose ring. You can get them off amazon. It is $6 and that will go over far better while still allowing you to have the look you want. https://www.amazon.com/SkullParty-Piercing-Stainless-Earrings-Piercings/dp/B07DX2H691/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=fake+nose+ring&qid=1583627341&sr=8-6
I actually got those off amazon because I couldn’t find them anywhere else. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T46NJBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jbmfEb3N060MG , the ones in the photo are the smallest ones
You can probably find generic wound wash at a pharmacy - just make sure the only ingredients are water and 0.9% sodium chloride.
I’ve bought Steriwash (it has the fine mist nozzle) off of Amazon but it looks like they’re out of individual cans right now.
H2Ocean contains additives I believe (at least the ones I’ve seen) so that may not be the best alternative.
Alternatively, just plain clean water works in a pinch.
Does he know how easily a septum piercing can be hidden if you get it pierced with a CB or retainer? On the flip side, have you considered getting pierced with a clicker to avoid the "bull ring" look? I wear a particularly dainty one with gems (pic here).
Edited to add: My mom was incredibly verbally opposed to a lip piercing when I first brought it up a year ago. Recently, I went and got a labret anyway. The first time I met up with her afterward, she didn't even notice it. Then when I pointed it out to her, she didn't mind it at all. She even asked me questions about the jewelry and whatnot. :P
Do you even know what irritation from a metal allergy looks like? If the OP was experiencing contact dermatitis from the jewelry, the area around the piercing would look like the images here. Another thing to take into consideration is that if it's an actual reaction to the metal, the piercing hole would get larger like it's pulling away from the metal.
The OP was just asking for help. There's no need for the attitude.
Also a piercer here. And I agree, though I think gauge is more of the issue here. Just a feeling. And I believe this is what you were talking about when referring to the milk ducts, mammary gland.
I had my ear lobes gunned when I was 13 and 15, and then that was it until I went to college. My close friend/sometimes girlfriend had a bunch of self done piercings, including a labia piercing which I thought was the coolest thing ever. When I got to college I became friends with (and later dated) a girl who had a lot of piercings done at a local shop and she recommended them very highly. I went and got my VCH done there in the beginning of October... so basically as soon as I got to college. It was a parent's nightmare. Go to college - date women, pierce genitals.
I used to hate navel piercings but I grew to like my girlfriend's a lot. After we broke up I went back to the same shop and have my navel pierced - by a different piercer this time, the old one moved away. Eventually the piercer and I became friends. He didn't talk me into any piercings, but being around him so much has made it easier for me to get a lot done. There are a lot of piercings that I've wanted since I was a kid but was too afraid to get before. He did my tongue, nipples, and helix. I'm probably going to get a triangle piercing over winter break.
I'm thinking about getting a tattoo in the spring. It's hard - it feels like a very scary permanent thing but I've had the same design in mind for years and I'm quite sure I want it. I'm just still a little bit afraid right now. I really like traditional american style tattoos, and I know a few great artists who specialize in that style, so the only thing left is for me to overcome my fear.
I really like my piercings. They're sexual & they're personal - a lot of them are connected to people I've loved and admired. They're a huge part of the way I relate to myself and my body.
okay i can’t help you with the material of this post, but may i recommend you look into a Blissbury pillow? I just got one and it is sooo much better than travel pillows! and the holes completely fit my ears so its really comfy to sleep on both sides again
Alrighty cool - so it's probably just you messing with it that's causing the bump Hmm maybe the chemist? Main thing is to make sure it's not contact solution. If Amazon shipping is available NeilMed is also good! You can double check to make sure. I'll attach a link. Neilmed
Hiyya! Apparently aspirin is a mixed bag, since it can increase bleeding, but decrease swelling. I guess it depends on your body! I’d say get some ear savers for your masking going forwards to help it not catch on that flat (cute AF btw!), and if you want a better option than a travel pillow there’s this I can’t say much about daith pain, as mine never really hurt, but try not to pay attention to it if you can. Go read a book, play some games or watch a show to keep your mind away from it ✌️
There are some awesome ones on Amazon that scream wedding day to me. Search Opal Septum Rings. I think any of those would look really pretty.
Btw I have my septum and Medusa too! Never met someone else with a Medusa. 😁
some people are opposed to q-tips but i’ve never had an issue with them, i suggest you use a premise solution for simplicity sake. idk if they have neil med in the uk but H2Ocean is a good alternative. as long as it’s sterile saline wound wash you’re set. https://www.amazon.ca/NeilMed-Antiseptic-Wound-Wash-177-Milliliter/dp/B00EC6DE7Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=saline&qid=1627499504&sr=8-14 here’s a link to some saline that i use but i’m in canada so idk if it’ll work for you. good luck
I actually have to go back in to downsize a week from tomorrow actually lol, so hopefully it’ll get addressed then. I’m wondering if your Jestrum is 5/16 (8mm) because I’m looking at a piece of jewelry that I think will look awesome in my Jestrum, but it’s too short for the length I currently have. link

Amazon! They were so cheap.
I use powerbeats, they're pretty comfortable and have secure ear hooks. Music sounds good and I've never gotten complaints when taking calls with them, if that's important to you.
They are a bit pricey for what they are, I got them as a gift. There are other similar buds available at more attractive price points. I've had my eye on these lately since I find the powerbeats a tiny bit bulky.
They’re a mixture of ones I’ve found on Amazon, BBTO 4 Pieces Layered Pendant... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PWYY5B6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share The one with pearls is one that was part of a mask set I bought, and the one with the ring on it was a Christmas gift from years ago!
Or
Are good places to start a collection. I haven't had any issues with them so far and got some nice pieces.
I did at first but eventually my neck pain got too bad cuz those things are not meant to be real pillows. So I found an actual pillow with a hole on Amazon
I go back and forth on whether I think a flat would look good on me! I guess I usually see them on people who have a nice, proportionally large, and mostly flat area so they look nicer to me. Rook on the ear with the conch is looking like is gonna be my next one!
I got my hoops on Amazon here. I have a large one for my conch but it was irritating it and this horseshoe isn't. I can look for the link to the forward helix one but it was an etsy find. I usually also wear a plain gold one there but changing it was a pain in the ass because of how small it is so I left it.
You got it, just stay patient!
My recommendations: titanium jewelry, saline mist once or twice a day, LITHA, and sleep on a travel pillow. Good luck!

It’s actually a low frontal helix piercing. But nope it wasn’t infected just super irritated (No puss or hot to touch symptoms). I was trying too much at the time to fix it and had to just relax and be more patient.
My recommendations: titanium jewelry, saline mist once or twice a day, LITHA, and sleep on a travel pillow. Good luck!

I use saline mist and just spray it. Qtips can have fibers that can irritate the piercing. If absolutely needed to help remove a crust build up that hasn’t fallen off in the shower. I definitely suggest softening them in a warm shower then use gauze or a clean paper towel in a pinch to gently remove the build up on the jewelry. Try not to pick and on the piercing site itself.

Yeah, kinda both. Without getting too graphic, rings that fit my anatomy end up bulky in bike shorts -- I've switched to curved barbells. It's fine taking it out, just gets old-- thought a frenum might be easier to wear biking.
I hear you -- my favorites, john Sievers are like $20 a pair. :'-( . I found a good couple pair on Amazon of 2xist for like $10 for 2.

I think they are 16g but normally marketed as 18g.
Just in case I'm right about this, I don't think Studex make titanium earrings but they are incorrectly marketed by onsellers. This is a link from the Studex site which says they make stainless steel and gold plated jewellery and their catalogue only has these materials too. http://www.studex.com/category/sensitive
This is a link to an Amazon page selling some studex earrings with titanium in the title. However, the Features and Details section say stainless steel while the description says titanium. https://www.amazon.com/Studex-Titanium-Regular-Piercing-Earrings/dp/B003I5QNLE

" Like most aromatic herb oils, Lavender Oil has Antimicrobial action. This means that it can protect wounds from infection and help them heal. " - The New Healing Herb by Michael Castleman
Still do saline but I'd say Lavender Soap (with no added chemicals) is okay 2 days out of your 7 day routine. I use it myself but I get soap from whole foods. If you rather Amazon it, SailorMew is right citric acid after a while it can make the site dry/flaky/down right itchy and that isn't good but plantlife brand doesn't use it. Hope this helps!
Yeah just to be safe - but honestly i tried it out a couple times during the year and it just didn't feel comfortable quite yet. Everyone heals differently, though!
I have urbanears plattan 2 pretty affordable and comfortable. Amazon link below :)

i want my triple forward helix! but my other ear also has a couple piercings and my friends tell me i don’t even have room for any more 😂 my industrial was the worst with aftercare though. it was HELL.
there’s a piercing salt soak from “urban something LLC” on amazon and it was my savior for all my piercings. all my new piercings healed within 8 months after using the soak 2-3 times a day! i used to have really big bumps on my industrial but they all went away so quickly. i just fill up a jar of solution and pour some into a shot glass, heat it up in the microwave, stick my whole ear in the shot glass and hold it to my head with a towel for about 5 minutes. then used a cotton swab dipped in that and used that salt water to clean the gunk around the jewelry. and this method worked wonders for all my piercings and all my friends i recommended to!
EDIT: here’s the link. i HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with old and new piercings. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EMB4W8S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_T0MlBbPADWSHV
They also do a larger one and different types of donuts.
u/ExpressionOwn6217 YA GET A SNEK! It’s sadly not available in titanium, so pls only put in if you know you aren’t sensitive~ I got it at this site
I got my daith done a month ago and I‘ve found I can see all of it if I face a regular mirror and hold a magnifying handheld mirror sort of beside/behind my ear. If I stand at just the right angle it reflects light into my ear it’s easy to see. There’s definitely some trial and error involved! Since you can’t really soak the inside of your ear, I soak a non-woven gauze pad with saline spray, fold it up around my daith and gently press it into my ear so that the piercing site is covered, and leave it there for 10-15 minutes. Any additional crusties are easy to wipe off.
Hope this might help you, it works for me!
You’re very welcome! I got this 4 pack, from Amazon. they are surprisingly very comfortable! Good luck! I agree with others that barbells are the best! My guy went with a 12g - now my husband wanted me to have mine done. He begged me for years, and I finally gave in and said “Fine, but you have to do it too!” - my husband has no piercings, and had never been pierced. Do you know what he said?, he said okay?!?!? I couldn’t believe it! So I booked us appointments and made him go first. He survived, and not only that did very well! He said it hurt right when it happened, but then it was fine. He did not wear a sports-bra! Hahahahahaha (I thought you might like that story)!
I got them from Amazon! I attached the link :)
Neil med is one of the main makes or the type of wound wash we are talking about. here’s a link to it on amazon ca
I have an earring organizer I found on amazon. It’s great because I can actually see things.

I liked the ones with a hole in the back; made it easier for the jewelry to pass through.
I make a day of it, but going from 22 g (most earrings) to 18 gauge shouldn’t take too long. I took a marijuana edible, grabbed a jar of coconut oil, a heating pad and watched cartoons. It shouldn’t take too long below g 16 or so; if you want to go to 8 g that’s takes more patience....
I got Soundpeats magnetic ones on Amazon for working out and I love them!!

Sorry for the late response...Initially I found I didnt get many crusties with my rook. But when I did they were on top and I would just let them be for the most part. In fact they looked a bit dark initially and hard to see and I thought it was a weird darker bruise and not crusties which is why they were left alone for a while... I found that doing a saline soak after a shower can really help loosen the crusties over time. I dont use a cotton ball but I soak a makeup removing pad from shiseido (they dont have loose fiber issues from what I can tell) and I find that I can sometimes just wipe off any loose crusties or they appear on my pad after a soak (usually with my conch).
I have tried using a wet q tip for my rook a few times and found they were hard to get in the nooks (underneath) due to size. But another redditor posted these types of qtips (link below) which I recently ordered. Tried twice with no issues so far (but cant really give a review on it yet) but I find myself just leaving my rook alone or doing soaks in general if bothered.. Usually with a piercing... if its been a couple months (unless irritated) I usually go the leave it alone route, rinse in showers vs the daily soaks I start off with... partially due to laziness and seeing no need if the piercing doesnt hurt/or is bothering me at the time.

I use Logitech Artemis Spectrum, but the cup is a bit small for my fresh industrial, but with a healed it would be fine. If I could suggest any for a tragus, it would be AfterShokz Trekz. They work through cochlear bone conduction so you won't have anything in your ear canal. Only downfall is it isn't cut off from the world and you can still hear things, but it is nice if you want to go for a jog.
Something about allowing more blood flow. I had a keloid for weeks and nothing was helping until my piercer told me to try that. I saw a difference within a couple days.

I saw this one via this kickstarter.
I'll be buying one at some point.
I think the most novel application was using it to unlock your smart phone. My intuition is it'll either be slow or sucky for some reason (like Leap Motion), or be a live-changing device that I won't ever be able to live without (like bluetooth headphones).
My APP piercer advised this NeilMed kit because it's both saline and it has varying pressure nozzle attachments. They sometimes use a toothpick to clean up my jewellery, but this is done by someone highly trained in a well lit, clean environment, so it probably won't have the same results when done on oneself. I'd advise against needles, as somebody else mentioned, or other items that can cause micro damage to the jewellery (or potentially worse damage to your body if you slipped or something else went wrong). Build up is typically easiest to deal with after being softened in warm water, as it's kinda mushy (that felt gross to type). It can take a while to get used to keeping intricate pieces clean, but remember to steer clear of over-cleaning or irritating movements- it's better to have a bit of outer build up that takes a little longer to get rid of than it is to keep irritating the piercing channel itself. If nothing else, an APP piercer should be able to advise a personalised cleaning routine for best results for you.
but also in the future make sure u keep in the jewellery the piercer put in for you, until it has healed, that way it’s very unlikely it will get irritated and reject. and clean it twice a day with sterile saline solution. i was advised by my piercer to put sterile breathable cotton plaster patches over my piercing when it was first healing to avoid snagging it on things and it really helped to not irritate my piercing, so i’d recommend this too:) i linked the ones i used, i say find some similar when you do get ur navel repierced
I buy this neilmed one at superstore in Canada, it comes with three tips and it’s amazing!! I love the high pressure one for cleaning my daith and rook, but the fine mist it better for everything else.
https://www.amazon.ca/NeilMed-NasaMist-Saline-Spray-Nozzle/dp/B00G4EJIZE
Not sure about a spray, but you could purchase a little spritz bottle, and fill it with this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Baxter-Sodium-Chloride-Saline-Irrigation/dp/B00QC3SLDW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=21N5N9PPGJKY8&keywords=saline&qid=1657669208&sprefix=saline%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-3
i don't have a daith but i do have a conch! i do have quite a low profile end on it at the moment and i use any earpjomes that have these types of silicone flaps on them! I have small ears and these don't press against my conch. I don't whether these would bother yohr daith or not though. you'll just have to try our different ones :)
Also called sterile non-woven sponges. The ones I get are the 2x2 inch ones by McKesson but looks like amazon.ca has these by AMD.
I highly recommend to get these cups. These are really great to Soak your nipples in Saline solution they are cups you fill place the on both your nipples and your bra and cup will hold it in place for 10-15 minutes while you get on with your daily routine. It take a bit of practice at first but once you have mastered it! I don’t think you’ll be sorry. Urban ReLeaf Piercing Bump Shrinking Drops ! Gentle, Effective Aftercare Liquid. 100% Natural with Essential Oils. Fast and Gentle Help for Scars, Nodules, Cartilage, Nose, Ear Spots https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084WHR38M/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_NK2WTYZMCJNM90DXFG7E
I just got my nipples done! And I got a conch a few months ago. You can definitely ice a new piercing as long as you disinfect your ice pack and or wrap it in a clean cloth.
Instead of hard lunchbox style ice packs, I like to use those soft gel ice packs like this or this because they don't feel quite as shockingly cold and they can fit in tight spots like behind your ears. You can also put them in the fridge instead of the freezer if you just want cool instead of ice cold.
Ultrasonic cleaner with just water and a drop of dish soap. (I use mesh tea eggs to put in the jewelry) any jewelry that can’t go in the ultrasonic I soak in some soapy water and if needed use a baby teeth brusk for nooks and crannies.
smt smd storage containers with foam inlay and all lids labeled with brand, gauge, length, type to store everything. I like the separate parts and that you can just click together more if you need it. They come in other colours and sizes as well
I used these when I skied with new lobes and daiths, and it worked better than taping gauze (though still caused some minor irritation on the lobes due to the helmet straps). They may not work for helices but it's worth a shot.

There are cheaper brands if you look, this was just an example. I recommend getting at least two pairs as it's easy to lose one while skiing.
I am in the US so I am not sure what filters are available in the UK. I love this one though! Have had it for a long time bc you can order replacement filters, my skin and hair don’t feel all sticky from hard water anymore.
Looks like keloids. There are some salt soaks that have teatree oil added that have worked for me, helps dry them out and reduce the size... I went from multiple keloid on my ears, to zero after the soaks. This is the one I used
Urban ReLeaf Piercing Relief Sea Salt Concentrate AFTERCARE ! Safely Clean, Soothe & Gently Heal New Irritated & Keloid Bump Piercings. Effective Non-iodized Dead Sea Salt, Tea Tree Rosemary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RKJ49G9/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_3X5KHG6YR3SRAN9ZH9DS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
But there are tons you can look up to help. I hope this helps you. Good luck 🙂
I’m no professional but I had a bump on mine and my cousin recommended I try using jojoba and I just used some of that everyday after I showered and it went away in about a month. Still use it everyday for my industrial and gauges. Good luck!
Definitely don’t touch it at all. It’s really important to forget about the piercing in the healing stage. Only use Saline solution. The link is: Here
Only touch it with clean hands and when you’re cleaning it, otherwise you’re putting yourself at risk of an infection.
I reccomed getting Nipple Piercing Aftercare Soaking Cups and Saline Solution. you can have them held in place by using a bra, just holding them or medical tape. do 30minute soaks every day ( i do mine before bed)and gently cleaning away crusties after the soap with a cotton swab.
Looks like a keloid. I got one on my industrial and used this stuff. It's a little pricey but it has reduced my keloid down to almost nothing. Also talk to a dermatologist, they can freeze it off if this doesn't work.

As soap can be irritating and cause much worse problems if it gets into the wound, if there is one, the best thing would be just to spray with sterile saline solution! Like NeilMed NeilCleanse Piercing Aftercare, Fine Mist, 6.3 Fluid Ounce https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00TZUJW6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_63051ZFQE67FKAKB5XXA that one!
Get a donut pillow or a travel pillow to sleep on!
Truyond Donut Plush Pillow Stuffed Cushion Soft Toy Decor Gift, 14 Inches (Brown Chocolate) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSDDZZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EDH8017QPY9DR9NS9PPX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I have, and the inner hole has plenty of room for my ear. The “bite” section nicely fits my neck. And I lay that donut pillow on top of my regular pillow!
They have them on Amazon
I use one of these
This is the taper i used but it’s for 16g. They do have a 14g but most people recommend going one size at a time. Just make sure you get the one that says it’s for internally threaded jewelry (you will want internally threaded so the threading doesn’t hurt the piercing) so the horseshoe can be screwed onto the end of the taper. Here is the [jewelry](www.etsy.com/listing/995666928) I used— this is just one color but she has tons! And here is the oil that I used!
