I just read on Gamestop that this is no longer the case. Apparently that page was posted in error.
Donations should go to the Reddit Black Paypal.
Any donation is appreciated. I will be donating Thursday as well (waiting for next paycheck). When you donate please send a message to myself and drweedthumb with the amount you donated. I will update the reward amount as well. Right now we have money going to first place and a gift card going to second place. Last place has to write a haiku or short story about why the winner is awesome. I'd also love to see some flair for the winner as well.
Glitches have been confirmed to still be in game according to this link. I'm hoping that means both super bounces in Halo 2 and white zones in Halo CE.
Forge will exist where it has previously and will be added to the 6 remastered maps in Halo 2 according to this article.
If it's one of these, then yeah.
TL;DR

That sucks! I picked up a monitor a couple of months ago and I love it. It came highly recommended on here and /r/codcompetitive.

If only they would add playback speed so I could watch all my bullshit deaths in super slomo.
Clan wars are not 1v1. its 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 if 1 clan plus 1 clan wants to work together to shut out some nobody peasant clan, well, they are entitled to be smart and use resources to make it a 2v1v1v1v1v1. Nature of the game. People complaining should read a book called "The Art of War" Maybe they'll learn something.
I'm looking to upgrade my mobo/cpu/ram with my tax return since my current mobo is dying. If anyone has any suggestions on what to get, I'm all ears.
Right now I'm leaning towards an i7 6700K processor and ~~this mobo~~ (edit: wrong socket). My main reason to liking this mobo is the looks/durability.
Rocket League season 2 is here! Pretty stoked about that.
haha cuz the siren's call is overkill
I'm currently winning a bid for a second R9 295x2 so there's that >.>
and this is my mobo...gonna probably do 64GB ram one day. til then, I'll be at 32...

THIS TUESDAY IS THE DAY I GET NEW INTERNET!!! I'm probably going to celebrate by streaming something...probably Destiny...maybe CoD.
I now have a sweet-ass microphone for my streaming setup. Even if my stream fails, I can use it on the PS4 (cuz plug and play rocks!) and I can jimmy rig something for the xbox one if I want to use it there.
I'm still in the process of trying to get a management job with my work...they're taking their sweet time lol
edit: I pre-ordered The Taken King PS4 and the Halo 5 Xbox One. Can't wait to see them in person!!
Oh, and I decided to practice and tryout for the PS4 side for BO3 this fall.
Edit again: I'm meeting some friends to watch the Spurs v ManU match tomorrow morning at a pub. Going to be fun! That is, if I can wake up for it (645 am).
I don't do too much mousing so it's not a huge issue but I'd definitely like to get a more comfortable mouse. The Logitech MX Master looks awesome but not really something I need at the moment. I think we have some ergonomic Microsoft mice I might try to get my hands on..
I've been playing pool about 5-7 times a week for about 2 months now. Getting a lot better.
I did some research for my company before buying one and a lot of people recommended western digital. I ended buying the WD Mycloud and it's been working great for us so far.
You're going to need a Windows ISO. ISO is a file type, and is basically the entire file of what Windows is. I cannot find a legitimate copy of that, so you're going to have find one. Note: When looking for ISO's make sure you have the correct kind of Windows for your key. Example: You had Windows Professional, make you get a Windows Professional ISO or your key won't work.
Once you have the ISO, you can then start up the USB tool program and you will have to select the ISO from wherever you have it saved to create a bootable USB so when you start a new HDD on your machine, it will launch the Windows install with the version of Windows you have in the form of that ISO. Note: you may have to change settings to boot USB first so it actually initializes the USB and loads the Windows install.
Go through the windows install process and enter your key when prompted.
The best way I can think to recover your data from your old HDD is to let it sit for a few days without trying to run it and using a tool like this to recover your data. This cable will only work if you can get the HDD to work for a small time. It's really cool, cheap, and I've used it before. It works if the HDD does.
Invest in backup USBs in the future to prevent this and always keep and ISO handy in case of this again.
As far as cameras they offer, I'm not too familiar with them I just thought a first person view would be kinda neat.
I shipped today (with 2 day shipping).
That one would work, but at $6.35 I would actually suggest this one - I have 3 of them and I know the quality is much better:
And it's only a few dollars more. The set has a case, an extension bit and more bits of sizes that will be generally more useful overall.
any clue on an ETA for the controller?
Will this work with the trigger stops? I dont have one handy: http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Precision-Screwdriver-Lifetime-Warranty/dp/B00480FQJ8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1423486004&sr=8-5&keywords=torx+5
Ok. Gotcha. The problem is that you have a 360 headset, and using the stereo chat adapter.
On the 360 the wire that went from the controller to the little in-line mixer was only for chat (mic and audio). When you use the new stereo chat adapter it does its' own mixing.
Then MS removed the "play through both" option too.
So there's a few things you can do:
You need a TRRS splitter that splits the audio and the mic into separate cables (these will be standard 3.5mm jacks). I have one of these. To get your 360 headset working the cables that typically go to the back of the TV will need to go to the "headphone" jack on this splitter. Then you run a cable from the mic jack to your in-line mixer.
Mod your standard POS headset that came with the system to have the right end for your tritton. I can do this for you, but have no certain way to test it (though Im guessing I could get it). I think I have a spare one here somewhere that I used with my x11s when I first got my xbone.
Get a new headset. I have a spare one I'd sell you at a steal -
My head is just too big for that headset. But sound quality is good. I got it for $60 on sale, and I just took the stereo MS chat adapter out of it since I needed it. Haven't used it since. $35 if you're interested!
Have me build you a headset. I'd use a pair of studio monitors, a gaming boom mic, and a velour set of ear cups - like the set I use. This would cost some coin though. I think parts on this run like $80-85.
Stay in parties and use kinect.
the biggest issue I see now is I have an extra female end that I have nothing to plug into? So basically:
Controller -> X1 chat adapter
X1 chat adapter -> 3 ring male end 'smartphone adapter'
3 ring female end 'smartphone adapter' -> 2 ring 3.5 mm male
2 ring 3.5mm male -> Tritton
That basically seems to be the path, but I have an extra female on the 'smartphone adapter'?
