Especially when the fucking book everyone’s using as absolute proof has some very racist overtones:

NBA THUG CULTURE RAPISTS.
Sign up for a VPN service such as Private Internet Access. Sign up for NBA streaming in a low cost country such as Mexico or India. If you need more in depth directions on how to set this up, it's not hard to find with a search. No blackouts and you get to watch the crowd during breaks rather than commercials. Don't buy into the cable monopoly.
You may also need a GPS spoofing app (at least on Android). The NBA app also uses location data so a VPN alone won't always work. Set the GPS spoofer to wherever you set your VPN.
It worked all last season and in the 1st preseason game.

This is the one I use. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lexa.fakegps
The Twitter post everyone is referencing for their source document of absolute proof Chauncey raped someone is an expert from this book, centered around the idea that early 2000s NBA was destroyed by thug culture - drugs, rape, gangs, violence.

Sounds like one of those subtle, all to common 90-00s white complaints about black culture that many of you are probably too young to remember.
All I’m really saying is this is not adequate evidence to fucking cancel someone, and you pitchfork mobsters need to calm the fuck down.
On point #3 about Zach's offense, I was listening to the Blazer's Courtside podcast last night and Jim Moran, the summer league coach, was talking a lot about why he is struggling offensively. You can listen to him at the 34:40 mark.
Rick Adelman, who was coach during one of our more successful squads in the late 1980s/early 1990s, wrote a book called The Long, Hot Winter about our 1990-91 team which currently has the record for our best season ever at 63-19:

For more late-70s content, I really love this book: https://www.amazon.com/Breaks-Game-David-Halberstam/dp/1401309720/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=breaks+of+the+game&qid=1623418169&sr=8-1
It's widely considered to be one of best books on sports ever.
GO BLAZERS!
I thought there was some bylaw by either the NBA or the NFL that wouldn't allow the same owner to have 2 professional franchises. I'll have to try out my google-fu.
Edit: Apparently he can own two.
Yeah Sling was saying they were picking up CSN but not in our market.
Playstation Vue You need at least the Core Slim Plan for 34.99 a month.
It works on PS3, PS4, Roku, Amazon fire box, Chromcast. Stay away from the "Stick" versions of these devices as there are some lagging issues.
It's from a shorthand language called magnum steno. It's for court reporters and closed captioning shorthand.
Private Internet Access struck a deal with Netflix so you don't have to except them from VPN. If you don't know, Netflix keeps a blacklist of all known VPN exit IPs, forcing you to turn it off. Never used Nord though they are very popular.
Glad you brought him up cuz he agrees with me…. It says late 90s and early 2000s in his foreword in his book he wrote about the era ….. just stop. This is getting really pathetic. The individual you are attempting to use against me is making me look better. Hahaha.
Your narrative is bunk, just move on. It’s ok yer wrong. We will get past this.

I'm currently living in a household with cable so I'm set there. However, in the past I've always used International NBA League Pass.
Intl LP is FAR cheaper than US LP (depending on what country you purchase from). I think I got it from Thailand or Argentina for like $100 for the entire year or something. You can even use your own US debit card when buying it. You'll need a VPN (can be a free shit one, quality doesn't matter) or Chrome Extension like Zenmate if you aren't too tech savvy.
The only time the VPN will need to be running is when you start the stream. After the stream starts you can turn off the VPN and use your own faster connection.
Intl LP also does NOT black out any games.
I've been using UnoTelly. This year they switched to a subscription model. I'm paying $12 per month + $5 for UnoTelly. Comes out to ~$150 for the season.
Edit: saw that you already renewed your regular LP subscription so international won't work. You could still try using a proxy service though.
When I purchased it originally, I used a free VPN, but used my Bank of America card. Then every time I would stream a game I'd use a Chrome extension like Zenmate to start the stream. After you start the stream you can turn off the VPN or chrome extension and just use your own connection.
IIRC Thailand and the philippines were some of the cheaper International League Passes. If you bought the UK Intl League pass it was still expensive.
Like I mentioned up above, you can get International League Pass which features no black outs and gets you playoffs. Its also cheaper than US League Pass.

>or perhaps you use your phone call to say "I know you're picking Oden, get an MRI on his knees every three days. Sit him out for his first season and get every elective surgery possible on his knees you can. Its worth it."
Now, this, I can get behind. HOWEVER, it sounds like Pritchard was ahead of you on that, according to this article:
>Pritchard said Oden had MRIs on both knees before the draft and they were "pristine."
So I stand by my original statement: the Blazers did nothing wrong. They did their due diligence. They did everything they were supposed to, and so did Greg. He didn't ask for any of that to happen to him. After what he went though, I guess it wasn't surprising that he became an alcoholic.
Adding to this thread so hopefully it saves someone some time.
NordVPN has been my VPN for 6+ years now. India recently announced they will require VPN servers to keep data logs - so Nord pulled all their servers from India.
I tried pricing out Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil... but they were not the cheapest.
Argentina - priced it - ($25 a year or so?) bought it and it worked once and then never again on different servers, disabling adblock etc. I tried private browsers in Chrome and Firefox and it just refused to work for me again. So I cancelled my subscription.
I'm now back to square one. I will try Greece or possibly Turkey. They aren't as cheap but at least they should work - hypothetically.
Hope this helps someone.
It’s my first time ever using LP. Using ExpressVPN. But that’s the thing is that it’s giving me the error even when I don’t use it. Like I’m in Indiana, have the vpn disabled before I even open chrome, clear the cookies, then try to watch the okc vs minny game and it’s giving me the 7027 error message.
Didn't work for me using Private Internet Access. With VPN on I get this.
There was an error playing this video. Please check your connection or try again later. If this problem persists, contact customer support with the following details:
Error Group:out of country blocked because client is neither in home country nor in content portability region
Error Code:7027
Turning VPN off it just spins after a reload. I hit it again and it kicks me out.
Thanks man!
I just bought ExpressVPN and was wondering why it wasn't working. Kept getting an error code when the video wouldn't load. Found your post and disconnected the VPN after logging in and voila, we good.
Laptop with an HDMI port direct to your television. Buy a wireless keyboard with touchpad (here's what I've used for the past ten years) and you're golden. If you need some tips on accessing streaming sites, DM me.
Right now, I am having a billing issue with NBATV so I can't test it out. But, last year, it was not an issue. I do use FireFox, but I don't think Chrome with VPN should be a problem. Also, I used NordVPN. Not sure that Express VPN is the problem either.
What is the exact wording of the message?
Bam! Thanks. I tried about 10 VPNs all over the world with ExpressVPN - no luck. Tried 3 in the US with NordVPN and they all worked. I have a left over international League Pass subscription in India and it works with US servers. Nice. Let’s hope it stays that way.
Just an update for anyone else trying out there. I downloaded Private Internet Access and tried to buy with VPN with 3 different cards and on different browsers and none would go through. If anyone faced this and was able to make it work, let us know!!
Or if not India buying it from Turkey or Greece is cheap to only costs like 17 USD for league pass. I used to buy from India but then NordVPN which I use doesn’t have a server there Anymore so opted buying a subscription from Greece or Turkey. With this it’s still cheap and I don’t have to constantly connect my VPN to India to watch
Just another option for you :)
I've been using NordVPN for the last year or so, and it seems to work well for the most part, however I have had a bit of trouble lately with the BBC iPlayer. Even when the VPN is on, the site sometimes knows that I'm not in the UK. Stakes are low there, but would hate to invest in a year sub for League Pass and then get locked out.
I ended up signing up for Evoca (at least temporarily), as their website claims there is a DVR for sports. It also comes with an antenna, though doesn't seem to be a high quality antenna. I'm in the inner metro though, so I think it will be sufficient. I also still pay for Youtube TV because my folks use my account and don't like change, so I will get the TNT and ESPN games as well as the Root games.
Honestly don't think any of our options are great this season, so figure out what works best for your situation and your budget. May not be what works best for the next person.
Hopefully Hankins and co understand that the current options leave much to be desired and continue working towards something better.
I tried this last year. I played with a ton of VPNS and I can you that you’ll want a very premium, high speed VPN and country that can support it. India and most of Asia was slow as hell for me on NordVPN. My feed was always choppy and low quality. In the end, I just payed the extra cash for US league pass, instead of cheap India version and VPN from closest out of market state.

Evoca(Ads) = 25 x 12 = 300$ Blackouts don't apply.
NBA League Pass(Ads) = 19.99 x 12 = 239.88 NBA League Pass(Ads-free) = 29.99 x 12 = 359.88 Blackouts apply, of course.
NBA League Pass (Ads-free, Streaming from Mexico) = 250$ MXN = 11.99$ US x 12 = 143.88
NordVPN = 4.99 x 12 = 59.88 (NordVPN for 2 years = 39.48 per year, so you can go even cheaper, there's also a cheaper League Pass)
Total Costs:
Evoca: 300$
NBA League Pass in Mexico with a VPN: 203.76
NBA League Pass with two year VPN: 183.36
You can of course use a VPN and get US League Pass and then you're looking at 339.48$ but can easily avoid blackouts. But if you're already investing in a VPN service...

Because that's not how trades work. I won't go into the details because there's more to it (info available on the internet), but in this case, Sixers are under the cap by a fair amount, Blazers are over. Crabbe can't even be traded yet (using the trade machine), so I'll use Lillard for example because he's making even more money. Here's the link
The interview that both tweets are referring to can be heard here.
Get a cheap VPN bro. I use IPVanish myself for a few bucks a month. Allows me to watch all blacked out games as well as unlimited access to torrent media sources. All for $6/month. It's honestly one of the few parts of my life that actually surprises me as to how it gives me such seemingly magical happiness for almost no pain/cost.
Another option is to use NordVPN and change your location to India. Then go and purchase league pass to get the INR rate...equates to 14 USD for the whole season. I'd probably only recommend this if you have high internet speeds though. I have Gigabit internet and this has worked for me!
Watched a few preseason games yesterday using this method
A couple of years ago i was able to watch league pass with a major VPN provider. It would still blackout national games, but local ones I was able to get around with the VPN. I have Private Internet Access not Nord VPN, but I'd bet Nord VPN would also work.
I plan on doing it again this year likely. I don't want to pay for FUBO considering they don't include NBA TV or TNT, so even there i'd miss a bunch of Blazers games. Plus im in Seattle where they will show Kraken games on ROOT instead of the Blazers if there's a conflict.
Does NordVPN really working with Team Pass? If they are filtering connection from VPN, NordVPN will be a waste of money.
Furthermore, it is very easy to detect VPN such as using IP2Proxy proxy detection service.
Which VPN are you using? I haven't been able to test live games as I'm not in the PNW blackout area at the moment, but I had trouble with some videos depending on where I sent my NordVPN. Just got blank pages on that and League Pass with a few countries, but the videos seem to work when plugging it via India. Still don't know how it'll run watching live in the blackout area.
There's a separate app. I use fake GPS ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lexa.fakegps )
When using the VPN do a VPN location lookup. A quick Google search should provide you with a rough location of the VPNs physical location. Set fake GPS to that location and turn it on then set that location as a "favorite." Once your VPN and GPS data show the same place open the NBA app.
The first time I did it, it took me 5-10 minutes. Now it takes 10 seconds. And most of that time is waiting for the VPN to connect.
It may not, but NordVPN has hundreds of different servers in a large number of countries. If one IP is not working, you just try another, then another, then another.
Streaming services are always updating their VPN IP reject list, but odds are they only have some of them.
I just canceled my US subscription (lets hope they refund me). I did try the DNS route before I posted on here and it wasn't working either. So I emailed Unlocator, the company I was working with and they indicated their service only worked with the LP International plan. Im guessing this is going to be the case for anyone.
I'm trying to decide between the book and these Bill Walton Socks Stance Men's Bill Walton Crew Sock, Red, Large/X-Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B48KHD2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Uravvb0VSMCX0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B48KHD2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Uravvb0VSMCX0
On Android, you can wipe the app data, spoof your GPS location, and then launch the app and sign in. If it's still bugging you about location, you'll have to use a VPN to connect, in addition to spoofing location. Wipe the app data each time to "reset" things, and make sure the VPN and GPS spoof are fairly close to each other.
