There's a prominent pool hall on Commerce Street (across from festival plaza) between Warehouse and Voodoo.
Geaux Vote App
App Description:
This app is provided by the Louisiana Secretary of State to assist voters.
Find out if you are a Louisiana voter, where you vote, what's on your ballot and other summarized voter registration and elections information using this secure application. Searching by voter yields the most specific information; searching by address provides information about all voters at an address.
The information contained in this application is encrypted. Information considered private (social security number, e-mail address, full date of birth, mother's maiden name and entitlement to assistance in voting) is not available through the application. A voter record is not linked to an address record and the address records are not linked to voters in order to further protect information about registrants.
Hello from New Orleans. I woke up to see this story. Did a quick overlay and it appears an object on RADAR originates at military bunker complex. Corroborates the ammunition bunker explosion story.
I have created a GoogleGroup in an attempt for better more efficient communication. Anyone is allowed to request an invitation. I will make the most active people in our discussions thus far, Group Managers. Let me know when you join if you ARE or ARE NOT interested in being group manager. :) https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/occupyshreveport

"The hard work here is actually done by Gecko, the engine on top of which Firefox, Thunderbird and other applications are built. It allows something called "content policies". A content policy is simply a JavaScript (or C++) object that gets called whenever the browser needs to load something. It can then look at the address that should be loaded and some other data and decide whether it should be allowed."
The video and advertisement are separate from each other. You allow the domain address that streams the content and block the domain that streams the ad.
For future reference, make a real point of learning where that is (even if there's 6" of snow!) and how to turn it off (pretty universal - example vid). (can usually turn by hand, but might need a tool depending on valve - I've got one of these for ease)
Are you on some limited internet connection? If I were you, I'd get a membership to a VPN like Private Internet Access and cancel netflix. In fact, I did cancel it when they took King Of The Hill off. VPN membership is roughly $60 a year. Well worth the money.
Secrets near the corner of 70th and Jewella. Kinda in the hood and I'm not sure of the price, just know they have quite a few tables and league play.
It's at the corner of Kirby and Highland. 501 Kirby is the address, I believe.
EDIT: I believe this is it, the small brick house on the corner.
Kisatchie Nat'l forest is huge, so be sure to either use AllTrails or stop at a ranger station to get the maps for the various sections. I'd hate for you to try to hike a trail that's all the way near Woodworth, like the Wild Azalea for instance!
It's been a while since I went there so I'm not sure of the current status of it but I've biked on this trail a lot in the past and have seen a lot of people hiking on it. It's listed as private property but I've never had any problems when I went. It's right off of Lakeshore Dr.

Most of the banks will not charge you a fee if you have high enough Aggregate Daily Balance or Minimum Average Balance, whatever term they want to call it. Most of the time if you have a savings or another account type with them, like mortgage, note, line of credit, brokerage with them, they will waive fee as well. It is best to go in and ask about the terms of their checking accounts. Ask for a fee schedule and any terms.
In General, if you can use a credit union, do it. They will most likely have less fees and better rates. This is not always the case though. The disadvantage is normally not as big a network of ATMs with no fees.
Quick Research guide I put together
I didn't include online banks, but those are option as well. I think there is plenty already online comparing them and their advantages/disadvantages.
Bankers and tellers are people as well. Make some friends and be friendly, they can help you out sometimes and let you know about special rates, etc, they have going on. It is also a business.
I am going to put this out here as well, since I am thinking about it. I wouldn't go with bank that is out of the way from where I live. I work downtown, so not really a problem. However, If I didn't, I would find one with branch close to me. In general I don't want to spend more time and travel than necessary to go to bank/atm.
Final random though.
$200 Aggregate Daily Balance. $6 fee per month or 72 per year. 72/200 = 36% for keeping 200 in you bank. Good return or lack of expense, well worth keeping 200 in bank if you can.
This is the boat launch right?
And the north location is here which is just north of the boat launch.
If I am wrong on the boat launch location please let me know.
Note that you need a clear view of the sky for it to work. If you're out in the sticks (which is one of the reasons you would want it in the first place) be sure that you don't have a ton of trees. The FAQ says you need a 100 degree cone of unobstructed view. There is an app you can get to test suitability:
