Not sure but it looks like it might be marzipan? If so, I saw it a lot in Italy as well, and I've found it in the US sometimes too! What part of California do you live in? You might be able to find a bakery nearby that makes some marzipan goodies, if that's what this really is.
This restaurant seems to have a delicious variety of marzipan dessert, but it depends what city you're in...
Good to know. As far as the Apple Juice, this stuff had the taste of a less sweeter green apple Jolly Rancher flavor. I couldn't get enough of it. Wasn't able to find it anywhere other than Kiev.

Spaced is a fantastic British sitcom starring Simon Pegg (you may remember him from such films as Shaun of the Dead and Star Trek) and Jessica Hynes, directed by Edgar Wright (of Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Shaun of the Dead fame). I believe the chocolate bars you seek are also known as 'boost' in the UK ( peanut version is called 'starbar' ) They're made by cadburys just the same but are renamed moro in Ireland.

The regional snack sheet (US at the bottom) is a pretty good resource for this. Personally, I'd recommend oreos (chocolate and creme biscuits) and breakfast cereals. Americans have this obsession with sucking all the nutrition out of breakfast, filling it with marshmallows or chocolate, and then adding trace amounts of vitamin C, and I love this thing.
Here's a small guide to international snacks.
Personally, I'd trade with a Briton if you like savoury things (monster much, walkers crisps, marmite [consult a Briton on how to eat this]), Italian or German if you like sweet things (various chocolates, nutella, nutella snack packs), a Frenchman if you like starchy things, and anyone from Asia if you like things you'll find nowhere else. Eastern Europe is great for flavour, India and the Near-East for spice, South America for things that shouldn't work but do (cumin in brownies).
Amazon also has it. But I'd worry about it melting.

you can buy a 12-pack on amazon for $20. it's going to be tough for anybody to beat that price buying it local and shipping it. it weighs about 10lbs, and is too big to ship in a small flat-rate box. medium ones cost about $14, and the large ones are about $19. getting a 2-liter would probably be worse, as it definitely won't fit in any flat-rate box.
fyi amazon has them at a not-unreasonnable price, if you don't get any luck and are willing to deal with third party sellers

The big purple bag on the left are just assorted fruit jellies (like lychee and coconut). The pink bag to that is called Flower Kiss Candies (Plum-Flavored Milk Candies) ---those are so yummy! You might be thinking, eww plums are for old people but it's very subtle plum flavor.

Not wanting to sound like a jerk but I think it will be cheaper to buy it from Amazon. A pack of 12 here in California is like 9-12 bucks and with shipping it would cost a bit more than Amazon.

I know this thread is a bit old but you could try miguelitos, it's a spicy sweet powder, I don't think it will taste the same but it has a similar thing going on, I use it mainly on fruits and it's pretty tasty

I hope the Armour brand chili isn't your first experience with chili, cause that stuff is bottom of the barrel. I wouldn't eat that stuff if it were 10 cents a can. Stagg is pretty dang good though.
