Yeah, its annoying, though avoidable. This is not really a road, but a trail through a forest so fallen tree makes sense. What does not is how this trees work in terms of physics in this game...
Thank you OP for sharing, here is the USA link for those out of PL:

I might wait for a higher discount though since I am planning to get the PC version with all DLCs.
I have a g920 on PC, I use a controller for the crane, makes more sense than a dpad on my wheel.
At least until this finally shows up
had random crashes on the switch version due to heat. bought one of these https://www.amazon.com/Projection-Charging-Cooling-Compact-Portable/dp/B08DNVVGCR/ref=dp_prsubs_1?pd_rd_i=B08DNVVGCR&psc=1 hasn't crashed since.
I always play snowrunner with a controller, specifically a wired switch or xbox controller. I prefer the switch one and they are normally like $15

Thanks for sharing! Each time I dig deeper into this hobby I struggle not to start buying everything haha. It's a really expensive hobby... and I need to buy diapers haha.
I'll look into that Tamiya kits! They look promising!
Just a side comment, I found this truck on amazon and for 300 it's ready to drive and has always diff locks (which is not ideal, but at least have locked diffs) and it has great reviews
It's one of my best options right now
Sad to hear that you don't have someone to share this hobby anymore, I assume it has to be hard to find someone also..
Thanks again u/Turbofurball! hope u find people to share this hobby with!
Forget Lego - design, quality and price just suck as of the last couple of years, the Zetros is a joke.
Try something like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B09GYFV2ZJ/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=33XAXX86MGZTQ&keywords=13144+mould+king&qid=1647806004&sprefix=13144+mould+king%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-1
That Tatra is fantastic - no diff locks, but huge and ab fantastic build - and it does reasonably well in ‚terrain‘, looking great all the way.
I've used it mostly to avoid driving the same route with 2 trucks or to carry fuel. Like for example moving scout to the garage, then taking some fuel along for the ride because there are no gas stations on the map where those metal rolls are transported to and carrying a trailer like that is way faster and easier than driving a scout all the way there, plus it saves a trip...
Unfortunately, there is no in-game feature to lock the time in game.
I like to record my game play and night driving makes terrible recordings, so like you, I am always resetting the time as well. It is a pain to have to try and keep daylight conditions looking the same during these changes while recording.
There is a 3rd party program called WeMod that claims you can set time of day. I have not tried it so I do not know how well it works.
Note: If you try it, I would be interested in your feedback on it.
Using Lutris, it's easy to install SnowRunner on Epic Games Store. But what other options or tweaks did you make to the Wine setup, if any?
I do have the game working, but there are some mouse navigation issues in the menu with the cursor.
There is a Mobile app/Website called Privacy.com which allows you to create burner cards to use for online purchases with spending limits and locks to use for sketchy sites and places you dont trust with your real card
Download this https://www.wemod.com/
Connect it to your game and then you can unlock highest rank (to unlock some parts for the trucks) or cheat your way to big amounts of money, you still need to find the upgrades to unlock those specific parts tho.
The Thrustmasters T300RS wheel comes with PS4 buttons as well as a D-PAD that can have keys assigned to it.
As far as camera goes I coud use the D-PAD (holding works on the T300RS) but I rather using the mouse for agility and precision.
Not familiar with your wheel but you could try this keybinding app: https://joytokey.net/en/
been interested in flight sims since FS95 and really got into it in my flight school days with FS2000/2002 and more importantly FS2004 for which i have hundreds of addons for ( free and payware as well ) .
laminar research's Xplane series ( now in version 11 ) is a great one to check out . nowhere near as pretty as FS2020 , but its physic engine/flight model is so far unparalleled . will be interesting to see how it stands out compared to the physics of FS2002 .
for space sim ( no combat involved , just procedures like in FS2020 ) , the freeware orbiter is a great one . http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
I found NordVPN pretty good, but certain countries are a bit slower, occasionally I have to 'play' with servers to find the fastest one, but I don't have any trouble with gaming/normal internet use etc since connections have mostly been great
I checked out a few and decided on ExpressVPN and that worked perfectly. I couldn’t access the multiplayer because of the strict NAT setting on my router which I can’t access bc of a password I don’t remember. Got right in after logging into my vpn:)
Multi-player is still seriously broken. There is currently no way to play on the same wi-fi network with two purchased copies of the game without using VPN on on of the computers. And most VPN's don't even work with this trick. Speedify does. Occasionally.
Yesterday I tried "Speedify", and could avoid the NAT Strict message that I got also with ProtonVPN.
It has some kind of free mode, without the need for an account even, which lets you transfer 2GB of data for 30 days.
Maybe it works. I'm trying to play co-op with my gf sitting next to me, and given that we are behind the same router, we can't until they patch it out. I figured VPN should work, but with only ONE connected to the VPN it doesn't work. Need to test BOTH connected to VPN.
Try googling it, see if it works out for you :)
Don't count on it being fixed anytime soon. Friend of mine has the same issue and has been in contact with the devs. They claim it's not a bug. Which means the community needs to raise a bigger stink about this issue to get it addressed properly.
My friend has had some luck using a VPN (ProtonVPN I believe), but it only works with some of the VPN servers.
Well, if you are gonna play other games on it (and sooner or later you will), I’ll tell you my story. I had several notebooks and pc in a lifespan of 10yrs, but mostly second hand (macbooks) or low price (Lenovo, IBM, Asus, Dell) ones. I was never satisfied with their perfomance and invested up to 400-500 bucks per piece. Then I decided I had enough of the issues and bought a gaming PC for around 2700 bucks, including monitor, keyboard and mouse. This is the setup from 11/2017:
Battlebox GTX1080Ti Overlocked
Graphic card: Asus ROG STRIX GAMING GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11 GB
Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K
Motherbord: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING
Memory G.SKILL 32 GB KIT DDR4 3 200 MHz CL15 Trident Z RGB
SSD Samsung 960 EVO 500 GB
HDD WD Red 3 TB
Cooler NZXT Kraken X52
Power source Seasonic Focus Plus 750 Gold
Casing PHANTEKS Eclipse P400S Tempered Whitr
I run the game on highest settings with 130-160 FPS and 27inch 1444p but even in the lowest settings the picture is quite good. What I wanted to say is that I would rather invest few hundred bucks more in order to get a PC that can run games in 2024-25 and the only thing you would maybe have to change after that is graphic card by then.
I have no idea what the sellers are offering in Canada, so I have gone through Amazon offers and would go into something like this:
https://www.amazon.ca/CYBERPOWERPC-Xtreme-Gaming-i5-9400F-GXiVR8060A8/dp/B07VGJDKZ4
Amazon is selling the pc version for $40. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083GKK72H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
