UPDATE: They're well over 10,000 and so Razer is making it!
I actually use a right handed mouse on the right side, but as an true lefty otherwise and at heart, I feel for you guys! I thought some of you might find this a worthwhile cause even if you're not gamers.
Some people feel torn about the value of Razer products, but I'm certainly enjoying my DeathAdder and BlackWidow, and I just like having options. Cheers!
Have no fear. This thing fucking rocks hard. To feel this mouse for the first time, and know what rightys had enjoyed for years is an emotion this precision tool shall grant you.

After deciding that I want to buy my first guitar, this site made it easy for me to decide which way to play and dispelled many myths I've heard that discouraged me from starting. I now have a left-handed guitar on order.

Ok. Here is the word document (a cheat sheet to help follow along and understand the randomness of the pictures) and the PP. :)

Google Scholar provides a veritable digest on the topic. For example. And, this article, among the Scholar results you'll see in the prior link, seems to say that the answer is yes.

It's hard to verify anything really. I mean, most of the studies on left handedness are usually discredited in a few years anyway.
update: found this double bevel thing... ya it's dalstrong, but fuck it a breadknife!
i wouldn't buy a chef knife from these guys though haha...
Dunlop makes lefty plastic thumb picks. Here’s an Amazon Link.
I had watched a few videos of Roger McGuinn from the Byrds, bought a pile of finger- and thumb picks, and immediately discovered that I much prefer playing with my fingers. If my cast-off picks weren’t in a storage container thousands of miles away I’d just send you mine, but at least I can assure you that the ones I linked to are legitimate.
Yes, when they get old enough to start using ink pens, get them the ones that dry quickly to reduce the amount of smearing. I wish I'd had those when I was younger. I like these.
I had a MISERABLE experience with a razer left-handed mouse. They also switched the buttons, and it was impossible to switch it back without the driver (i tried Autohotkey with no luck). The driver took 250mb of ram and crashed Fallout 4 (it would freeze on the loading screen). So, I would have to play FO4, kill the driver when I got to a loading screen, then re-launch it after. One time this caused my hard drive to crash and burn, so I had to buy a new hard drive and reinstall everything. That's when the razer mouse went in the trash.
I have a Gamdias Hades: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IRRET6O/ref=dp_iou_view_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's not lefty, but it's symmetrical and you can switch out the grip on either side to fit your hand however you want.
I would have a look at Rhodia, the 'right handed' ones have a plain back similar to the front so could easily be used the other way around.
They do have an A4 pad (Equivalent roughly to legal/letter) with a spiral at the top.
These are UK Amazon links but should give you the idea.

Honestly I got a Moleskine Planner that has the dot grid style, and I write out my own weekly planner on the pages. Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri down the length of the book with a to-do list section/school dates/budget stuff at the bottom. It’s a bound book with a spin, so no coils. It’s smaller (I have the 4.5x7 but you can pick a size), and I’ve used it for 2+ years without running out of pages or hurting my hands.
I’ve had great success with simply placing my Delux T9 gaming keypad on the right side and my mouse on the left. It gives you the left side of the keyboard and spacebar without having to change key binds. About 35 USD on Amazon:
you can still buy those dirt cheap from china.
not sure if the internals are the same, but the shell is what sells it for me, so no problem. (i use those for more than decade now)
Depending on budget, he might want to use something like this completely programmable gamepad:

I'm right-handed, but learned to mouse with my left hand 20 years ago after RSI injury, and have gamed with left-hand-on-mouse since then, though I've started to train with my right hand for games.
It was reported in this video that there will be a left-handed option in Skyward Sword. It would feel pretty weird to have the Wiimote in the left hand though, even as a leftie.
Relay for Reddit is my go-to Reddit app since the beginning. It's got an option for thumbnails to the left and a couple of different one handed upvote gestures.

I’d really recommend Gingher left-handed shears. My rotary blade is ambidextrous and use that for bigger jobs, but these shears have made scissors a way better option. Not cheap, but what sewing notions are?
Checking on Amazon, the difference seems to be about £2.22, or 18%
Notebook £11.74
Same note book but lefthanded £13.96
My wife bought a set of Fiskars soft touch scissors a long time ago and they're nice and comfortable to use - right handed blade with a grip that works right or left handed.
This looks like the equivalent sold now on Amazon:
A bit expensive, but I really love my Delfonics 0.7mm Ballpoint. Its a really nice fine tip so it has no smudging but writes extremely clean.
Was going to suggest an Invicta before I opened the post. I have one...it's pretty nice and you can find them for a reasonable price. This one is a really good looking watch for 90$
edit: that's a right handed one....whoops. I forgot for a minute. Mine is a lefty but I actually prefer the righty watches so the knob doesn't stab me in the back of the hand
Can you compare this to the G903? It seems (ignoring sales) that the G903 with wireless charging is just barely more expensive.
U guys gotta try the new BIC Atlantis Exact ball pen it's by far the friendliest lefty ballpoint pen I've ever used.
This one I'm talkin bout on amazon
Edit: Go to ur local walmart, mine was under $4 wit tax. The 3rd party seller on Amazon is OP doe.
Rollerballs are the way to go. /u/applepwnz recommended the Uniball Jetstream RT. I'll second that. Pilot also makes an excellent rollerball line. My favorite right now is the Uniball AIR line, example here.
I understand the appeal of having a nice, left handed notebook, but they've existed in Asia for years as standard-issue.
it's not a lefty thing. buy this. it's cheaper in the long run, and it will put an end to cursing at the crappy cling film that makes life miserable.
Anything from Pentel that will hold Energel refills. Smooth writing and it dries exceptionally fast on regular paper. I cannot write fast enough to make it smear. Available in different tip sizes and colors. I have used the cheaper clicky tops and the Tradio with a cap. But they also have some fancier metal pens.
Edit: have I mentioned they are really affordable?
For fountain pens try to find one with a special lefty tip. Lamy hast them I think. However, as a lefty I'm not a big fan of traditional fountain pens in general. Even with the lefty tip I was never really able to achieve the smoothness every righty is talking about. And traditional ink is painfully slow drying.
Buy an EZ-DUZ-IT can opener and learn to use it right-handed. Toughen up a little. I'm left-dominant across the board (as is 50% of my family) and we all use right-handed can openers. You'll get used to it.
This is what I use:
http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Expert-Mouse-Optical-Trackball/dp/B00009KH63
It is not cheap, but it built well, it does not care what hand you use, and it has completely eliminated my mouse-related RSI at work.
It also has an awesome scroll ring you will wonder how you lived without.
