Well well well, look what I found. A f***ing Google doc with some of their scamming methods explained for new members to their group. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TTA-V9xVu84M0lVtjY16QTA9c_P40rkVj18L-RkPhD0/edit?hl=da
Funny story!
I used to run the original spreadsheet with many other traders, and back then we all had many many hats/promos/unusuals. When I stopped updating (mostly due to the huge influx of hats and no reward for updating) we just ended it. This guy pretty much stole most of our current hat values, our entire color scheme, and didn't give us any credit.
Well, it's controlled by a single unknown guy with a complete lack of method transparency. Formula for abuse much?
Anyone know who the guy is?
Sold my Lvl 0 V.Ushanka(painted white even) to a collector for bills+3 keys, so I think the buds is a bit high price for it..
EDIT:In case you can't find a buyer heres the links to where I found a buyer for mine: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TF2DLC https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av0eV4Gn4oIKdFUyeFZUc3l0X2tUOEdIREwtSGN4cVE#gid=0
3 ways I know of:
Keepass is helpful for randomly generating up to a 256bit Hex key for passwords, which would take all the computing power on earth to the end of time to bruteforce. The database itself is heavily encrypted as well, and with a long password for the database it would take a similarly long amount of time to bruteforce. A piece of paper could be easily lost or looked at by a friend/family member.
Keepass is an offline locker, meaning it has no connection to the internet. The only way someone would be able to open it up is if they stole the file from your PC somehow, and even then, because of its encryption, they would need to know the password to open the database, or bruteforce it which would take an obscene amount of time (billions of years+) if OP set a nice long password.
Remember, the key to a secure password nowadays is not complexity, its length. You can use https://howsecureismypassword.net/ to see what I mean.
That's exactly what you're looking for - Crate Unboxing Spreadsheet.
looks like you're about a reclaimed short, but this guy has amazing prices, is fair, and a quick trade. All his prices are firm, but like I said, you're only about a rec short. Gameking is usually in RUGC steam chat during the day. Check in periodically and you should run into him.
You may find this of interest.

Specifically, the spreadsheet linked here
It appears as though the best are: 42 (tops) 41, 13, 14 (all same avg) 19, 21
Obviously 41, and 42 average mass unboxing is volatile since they are still new.
One other thing to note, if you scroll to the bottom-ish of the spreadsheet, you'll see you can change the variables, as well as utilize a spreadsheet to estimate your costs and returns.
Good luck!
as a bulk unboxer noob, i hate crates 32/34/37 -- i never get anything worth a damn out of then.
also try this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AvcjUg5333WldF9lbTRHczFmeEtkUThqdFYzUDIxRUE&output=html
Just saw that on tf2tp, maybe exemple 1 is not a scam but it looks a lot like one.
Low, way lower than people are thinking, last year the chance to get a strange festive was like 1/10, the only reason the supply is low is because a lot of people opened nice crates and no one expected them to be so wanted. I'm thinking 7-12 keys, maybe the "best" one will be 15 keys, and the worst will be 7, rest in between.
Keep in mind that with these chances and the free market, there's absolutely no way the lowest one can be worth above 10 keys, and that's just something that's impossible, there's also the fact that the lowest one will probably never be worth more than 8.
Another thing you have to consider is the fact that even burned chests give you non-strange festives and there is still a chance for an unusual, this all combined should lower the prices even more, which is why I'm comfortable with my 7-12 estimate.
Also to make it easier to grasp, since some stupid traders just can't get it out of their head that these new strange festives won't be that expensive http://www.kongregate.com/games/stripedypaper/tf2-crate-sim (go to number 35) see how often you get these things.
and I forgot to mention earlier, there will be plenty of stupid traders, especially on outpost saying "GIB ME 20 KEYZ DIS WILL SKYROCKET ONCE CHRISTMAS OVER" just ignore them.
Is using shady and dirty tactics not a scam?
From that definition they seem like the same thing. The guy in my original post had lots of items and hats and wanted to try and overwhelm me (or someone less experienced) with the shiny new weapons and hats in order to snag a rarer item. Sounds like an attempt to scam something.
Your definition likens a scam to someone stealing actual money from you. It is a semantic differences, I believe.
Towering Pillar = 3 - 4 refined. Brigade Helm = 3 - 4 refined. Sola Topi = 3 - 4 refined. Mining Light = 3 refined.
With that hint, I think I've figured it out. No way to test it though since I don't have enough money lol.
Only downside to this trick (in case it works) though is if you already own the game, as it won't actually let you add it to your cart.
The best crates in your bp are #23 (S.scattergun), #25 (pyro stranges which worth at least 1 ref each), #27 (sniper stuff) and #31 (S.degreaser). You can use this spreedsheat, to have an idea for the possibilities of return. hope it will help you, Good luck

This, specifically.
FEAR ME I KNOW EVERYTHING
I'm planning on sending it to DerrickG.
He is the head of Steam Support.
We also learned a large amount of Adrian's personal information. (facebook, email, twitter, IP)
This should help you out https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AvcjUg5333WldF9lbTRHczFmeEtkUThqdFYzUDIxRUE&output=html
13, 14 and 30 are the best at the moment
Hey thanks for the pricing of the YER. I was looking around online and this; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApAsoa1Ma5AmdHE5OHBTajlXWGdkUmhPQXBUTWJjb0E&hl=en_GB#gid=0 , Price chart came up. Is this an accurate price chart to go by?
Yes, they can be reversed.

Spreadsheet of projected returns for sales. If you have skyrim you can have 80 ref worth of total value from there
key words "one week ago". prices change fast and i need to know the current price. The sheets dont help too much either, they cant even name accurate prices for the new items.
http://tf2spreadsheet.blogspot.com/ this one says 3 ref
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApAsoa1Ma5AmdHE5OHBTajlXWGdkUmhPQXBUTWJjb0E&hl=en_GB#gid=0 this one says 5-6.
so i have no idea, maybe 4 ref is the mean price i guess
Ah, dude, I don't think you should sell to Cuddletime. Not to shit all over the guy, but he's super scummy. He's one of the worst sharks out there right now. This document should explain what I mean.
Oh well if you do, oh well if you don't.
Medigun- Retard Resuscitator (If you're hesitant to use the word retard, you could go with another r-word to keep the alliteration)
Bonesaw- Bone-swag
Syringe Gun- Acicular Agitator
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArPv1ZZL4BqhdHAzUEdIWnRWZTNOUEdoQld6TzZkTkE#gid=0
is the spreadsheet, pretty bare at the moment. Im thinking if each category links to a list of the relevant items showing the last 6 weeks prices?
I got all of my prices from here. If any of you would actually trade with me, my prices could go even lower. But you're not, aren't you? I'm offering deals, here, people! Don't make me take this deal over to non-Redditors! SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED!
Just going by the spreadsheet. :)
edit: Unless you're just hopping on the bandwagon of lowballing Stranges, and if that's the case - I appreciate the price check, but I doubt your integrity.
I guess I phrased that weird... Someone is offering the ballcap, for my mountain cap.
I also did some quick searches and it looks like there are definitely more then one in the game https://www.google.com/search?gcx=w&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site%3A+www.sourceop.com+%22backwards+ballcap%22+%22steaming%22
I'm just trying to see if they are about equal in value, since like I said above, I have no idea on the value of the new effects.
Ouch. I just traded someone who said some other redditor unboxed 300 crates before finding an unusual. I messed around with the Kongregate Crate Simulator and the results were pretty bad. It was something like an average of $240 spent on keys before finding an unsual.
Don't know why we didn't originally include this, but our wonderful friend Squishii_ has made us a server trailer :D Take a look here, hopefully you have RES :)
Some good tools that can help you with this advice:
Kind of dated ^
For passwords Keepass is pretty cool, it will generate and store passwords for you (so even if you're infected with a keylogger it won't matter). You simply populate the database and drag+drop the username and password if you suspect any foul-play is afoot.
This spreadsheet (originally posted) contains average values for all weapons of all types (Regular/Unique, Vintage and Genuine). There's a key to what each column indicates, as well as other notations, at the bottom.
This spreadsheet (the comment you replied to) contains the market values for Hats of all types (again, regular/unique, vintage and genuine).
If you're looking to buy or sell an item, and you're not sure of the average market value for it, look it up in the appropriate spreadsheet for the price range of what to charge/buy for.
Just look at the value of these coins, money only has value because people say it does, they are very liquid, they have very low transaction fees, they are untaxable, etc. you could go on for days about why cryptocurrency exists and why it will continue to exist in the future.
Does this show up everywhere? Try using a different web browser and see if it is there.
If it's just one browser, it was probably installed with an add-on or extension, probably a toolbar in your browser. Open the addons window (about:addons in firefox, can't remember other browsers), and remove any extensions that look suspicious, or any that you installed around the time the program appeared.
If it is in every browser, it's probably part of some malware on your computer. Download MalwareBytes Anti Malware, run a full scan and it will probably get rid of it. If that doesn't work, try Combofix, but keep in mind that this is extremely powerful, and can screw up your computer if you mess around with it.
I would sell the buds separately (I buy currently for $33). The rest of the backpack, you might be able to pull $40-50.
>*How can I do it safely?
Sell to a trusted buyer.
>*Were should I look for people that want to buy BP's?
Here or outpost are probably your best bets.
>*They usually pay with pay-pall do I need a account connected to my bank to use that money?
You do need a paypal account to receive paypal payments. How do I get a Paypal account? There are other options like Amazon gift cards if you do not wish to open a Paypal.
If they have a lot of rep,it is very very unlikely that they would do a charge back, otherwise their whole trading "hobby" would be over because they would be reported to steamrep (a third party site not official) and thus banned from outpost, bp.tf etc etc.
Paypal has a conversion system which you can google or read here https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/helpcenter/article/?solutionId=16238&topicID=57400007&m=TCI
you can ask them to cover fees (but you should probs get USD only since you'll actually get more due to conversion rates than if you got nzd).
Also about the validation, just take your time, follow the instructions on the site about what to do/how to get validated etc. take your time. It'll mean a smooth outcome.
Paypal has a thing on how to get verified and the benefits of doing so.
It is primarily important for those placing massive orders, honestly. Feel free to add me if you wish to discuss this further.
EDIT: Add me and we can talk about things.
EDIT 2: Trade completed, everything done well. No problems at all.
