they used to have a 45 day free trial but they removed it yesterday and replaced it with this free 30 day deal.

This post you made about accidentally deleting your entire website and never having backed it up makes me doubt your ability to run a VPN.

I just used a 66.5% off discount for the 1 year plan through NordVPN. I didn't want to commit to 2-3 years so this was a good option. Works out to $4/month. Paid $48 for the year and I really needed it.
I use my phone as my primary internet connection and my cell provider throttles any video/torrents down to about 150 k/s. Now I am getting between 2-5 MB/s. Very happy with the service.
The coupon code is '70off' for the 1 year subscription.
and I mean that dealing with those annoying daily reposts is easy: make a rule not to repost unless the deal was moved to the second page and/or it's been [insert number here] weeks since the last one.
But if you prefer a dead subreddit, sure, ban everything because it definitely solves the problem. Just like purevpn and cyberghost links are banned here (just to name a few) because I'm sure that redditors don't want to see purevpn and cyberghost deals.
And by the way, there were only a few idiots who reposted NordVPN and TorGuard deals on a daily basis as far as I know. So making the rest pay for what 2 retards couldn't comprehend to be a bad practice is, well, I have no comments here.
I'm confused by how your main page says "Connect 3 Devices At The Same Time" yet the ToS https://www.blackvpn.com/about/terms-of-service/ states "You may use the Service from as many computers and devices as you like, however you will not be able to connect from more than one computer or device at the same time."
Which one is correct?
I'm only seeing the regular price? $39.95/year, which works out to $3.33/month (52% off the $6.95/month price when you buy only a single month).
Every few months or so PIA offers 2 years for $59.95 (works out to $2.50/month), which is a better deal.
Or if don't mind paying via credit card or PayPal (PIA itself supports other payment options), you can get the same deal anytime via StackSocial.
StackSocial will send you a coupon for 10% off your first purchase if you subscribe to their newsletter (open the page in a private window if the email sign-up doesn't appear). They also occasionally offer coupons for 15% off, such as this Black Friday one (today only, expires midnight Pacific time, so in a bit less than 11 hours): DOORBUSTER
Says it "ends in X days", but AFAIK they always re-up the deal. Bought it a couple months ago when my previous PIA subscription expired. Note that if you're already a PIA subscriber, you'll have to create a new account to use the license code you receive. (That's what they mean by "new customers only", I guess.)
actually its not a review, just testimonial of my own, sorry.
"After a few hours looking at which one is better between PIA VS Torguard on reddit and google, my heart goes to torguard because they have a lot of features compared to PIA (you can google to compare), and since the price is cheaper on tor after 50% off (code: Lifetime50TG) so I just pay $15 per 6 months.
the good thing I like about Tor is their software, extension, and the app is lightweight.
PIA plans: a month, year(s) TOR plans: 1, 3, 6 months, year(s)
I never do a review on things like this unless I really like it. I was using ExpressVPN and compared the speed with tor, tor win. again this is my opinion and speed is depends on your location.
Thanks to everyone who suggested to use Torguard. you guys rock! ;) Cheers."
Who still uses L2TP? Kill switch should work with todays protocols such as IKEv2 or OpenVPN. I'm still on a trial with Nord and decided to try your service as advised by my co-worker but sorry, mates, you did not convince me. I am most definitely staying with NordVPN as I value security more than those few more euros I will spend.
I did a simple search: ;sort=relevance&restrict_sr=on&t=year. Negative reports of: terrible speed problems, spamming issues, broken software, etc.
The maintainer of the VPN comparison chart that is on the sidebar of /r/VPN did a review as well: Speed problems as well.
Then I looked at your account, wondering if you are just a buy without researching kind of guy or what. Then I see 9 day old account. You know, I think its ok to advertise here, just no referral links. So if you are from NordVPN, no need to astroturf. Anyway, reported and let the mods figure it out.

FrostVPN does not monitor, record or store logs for any VPN user. We do not log or Store web traffic data including Websites visited, files downloaded, etc.
We do however record the following data: - time, date and location VPN connection was made.
This information is collected to protect our service from abusive users, spammers and crimes. This information is cycled every 24 hours. Pros and Cons of NordVPN as per my VPN Comparison Chart
Pros:
Located outside of 'the fourteen eyes'
Well defined logging policy with limited amounts of logging
Accepts Bitcoin
'A' SSL Server Rating
Free trial and 30 day refund window
Cons:
Blocks SMTP
Uses third party support tools
The entire quote is:
> We have a ZERO tolerance spam policy. If it is determined that your AnonVPN account is being used as a conduit for spam, we reserve the right to take the following actions:
>
> * Your account will be immediately suspended with no refund.
> * AnonVPN will, at its discretion, charge an hourly fee at a rate of $150 per hour to cover costs and damages incurred by your actions.
Looks like it was copy-pasted from proXPN's TOS:
This bundle is also being sold by proXPN, so I'm guessing AnonVPN is another venture by the same company, with a modified business plan (different pricing and payment structure).
But while proXPN offers normal payment options, AnonVPN only accepts indirect payments, so they couldn't even try to bill you. They probably will suspend your account if you're a spammer and try to send spam-levels of traffic, but the fee is an empty threat.
Given the price, I guess there's not much to lose.
it worked for me 2 days ago. I thought /u/o2pb/ was trolling me, but eventually it worked. But like I said: not on my first or 2nd try. Try https://windscribe.com/upgrade?promo=WS50OFF Entering the code in the Coupon box didn't work, manually changing the url did.
I don't see a link. You mean this?
Login or create an account with BeFrugal (which offers better cashback deals than Rakuten for so many websites, and is pretty reliable according to reviews, it also worked for me).
From BeFrugal website you fellow the NordVPN offer, 24 months +3 free, for $85USD.
If you don't want applicable taxes just choose a state or province that does not apply any (for example Alberta, Canada)
BeFrugal offers you 70% CashBack (or 73% right now), PLUS $10USD bonus if you're a new user. This brings back the total cost to $13USD (or $15, if you get 70% instead of 73% CashBack) for the 27 months.
While the discount code is cool it's still quite a lot of money for just a year. Maybe try the free trial and then decide whether it's worth it. You can also check out sites like mashable shop (ref link for $10 bonus) to see if they got a sale on NordVPN. Obviously buying for more years is cheaper than just 1 year. Last option would be to share an account with some buddies.
I'm personally sharing mine in case you would be interested. Currently, it's just me and 1 other redditor who bought 2 months for $2. It's valid until 31.12.2021 but you don't need to buy for all those months. PM me if you would like to hear more.
On that VPN comparison chart it seems NordVPN is based in Panama and gives 0 shits about the Fourteen Eyes. All in all it seems pretty solid to me, and I don't have hours to do research on every one of the 1000s of VPNs out there, plus it seems like it'll stop copy strikes, so good enough for me, even if Best Buy is selling a license.
I'm sorry for the delayed reply. Not sure how I missed this. You can use the built in IPSec VPN functionality to utilize FrostVPN on an IOS device. Instructions below.
I thought this was a great deal and online reviews of NordVPN from some of the sites I trust always gave it good marks. I was impressed too by the number of servers and location around the world. They also offer many ways to access their servers. Their own application NordVPN, and OpenVPN, and L2TP, and IKEv2. However, in using all of the above over one month to test performance on 100 servers I achieved a wide range of results. Perhaps to be expected. Big failure and reason I quit and got a refund (Yes they do refunds, someone somewhere had posted they were unable to get refunded???) was that I primarily wanted to be able to Torrent, not just change location. Their USA list for P2P servers is 160 servers, but all shut down all data over the VPN if data was Torrent, no matter what application method of connection was used to the servers or if TCP or UDP.
Sadly I have to sort of second that. Their impressive server list often shrinks to 1% of its length which you notice after you've been disconnected.
Although I didn't notice bandwidth problems (quite the opposite when compared to the cancerous speeds of AirVPN), reliability is pretty important to me.
Personally I'd go for PIA if it wasn't u US-based, but... I don't know.
I honestly can't follow you, on your first reply the speed connection was fine, now it is 'not the fastest service you've seen' ? You've also ignored my question, where did you see that all logs are being pushed to /dev/null , where did you found any evidence of this? Your review is simply biased, you are more concerned in defending NordVPN rather than acknowledge their issues (that you involuntarily seem to acknowledge). Give it a time and you will regret for sure, as I am, the money you throw at them in exchange for the shitty service you got (assuming, as you claim, you have no affiliation with them)
I'm not here to promote PIA or any other service, but truth being told I was using PIA for many year and I didn't have any issues whatsoever with their service, no connections timeouts, decent speeds, good support,..etc which is the minimal one would expect from a competent provider. The only reason why I have decided to change to NordVPN, regretfully, was given the geo location that NordVPN claimed their headquarters are located at (Panama) and that was a mistake.
With NordVPN on the other hand, I'm not able to maintain a stable connection for more than a day, they are always facing issues with their servers (vast majority of them are down). This is no secret, even their dummy support acknowledges this and suggests to select another server on a different location or to try again later.
I've raised tickets to their support more than 3 months ago regarding issues with slow speeds and connection time out and I did not get any answer, they don't even bother to reply.
The posts I picked was simply a sample, there are much much more unsatisfied customers out deceived and lured by their snake oil. A simple search will return much more results.
Seriously? You picked complaints one by one? :D Well, alright, in for a penny, in for a pound :) I'm not affiliated with NordVPN in any way, however I am working in IT for almost ten years. I started this thread as I wanted to recommend the service I enjoy, so I feel somehow responsible to defend my opinion.
I agree that the service is not the fastest I've seen. But it is far from slowest either. Maybe you would like some screenshots? :) There might be more than couple of reasons why VPN service is slow. Some depends on a provider and some depends on you, the user (just to name a few: distance to the server, server load, ISP, encryption and device, security software, etc.). Same goes with connection issues.
Let's quickly jump through these complaints you so nicely pinpointed. "A lot of servers are down" - firewall/antivirus system/ISP is blocking a pingback between the server and the app. "Traffic routed through Canada or Netherlands" - if you would read about the service before buying it, you would know that they re-route P2P traffic if it's detected on unsupported servers. "Unable to connect to a server or it takes x number of tries, using Windows" - there is a problem with your TAP drivers. Reinstall.
I am not saying that they never had any issues or that the service is bulletproof, however such thing as 'bulletproof' doesn't exist in IT world. So please be so kind and answer me this: would I be able to find complaints about PIA after doing a quick search on the web? How can you be sure about any self proclaimed 'logless' service if it is impossible to check that?
You are probably their spokesperson/employee and that's why you have always defended Ivacy aka Pure VPN whenever you could. But just pass this message to your associates at Ivacy to not only react on the negative reviews they get, but also act upon it. I was once PureVPN/Ivacy's customer (for 3 years) and I have seen their service going from bad to worse.
If you guys are here to sell as many subs as you can for a year, and then repeat the same via different marketing channels till you get rich, then you are game. But if you are serious about running your business, run it the way it should be, by not oversubscribing than what you can handle, and by focusing on keeping your current subscribers happy.
Now feel free to go ahead and downvote this comment!
I have been using them for a couple months. They don't offer autoreconnect via the OpenVPN client. You have to go to the linux page to get the .ovpn files, support is only good for easy questions (don't ask anything technical) and there is no auto reconnect unless you use their bundled client. It really makes me wonder why they want me to use their client so badly.. Oh, search Ivacy here and you will see they tried to bribe someone for positive reviews.
I just purchased it yesterday. It's very easy, just follow the instructions after your paypal payment clears. It's a 'code' StackSocial gives you to enter into the 'Coupon Code' box when you create your new NordVPN account. It's impossible to make a mistake, no need to enter your CC details. Been testing all day, works great. I highly recommend it, $ is incredible.
Pros and Cons of Private Internet Access as per my VPN Comparison Chart
Pros:
Supports OpenVPN
Uses own DNS Servers
Accepts Bitcoin
'A' SSL Server Rating
5 simultaneous connections
Cons:
Based in US (fourteen eyes country)
Unclear logging policy
Uses third party support tools
Well, Ivacy offers many great features such as: 5 multi logins Split tunneling 256 bit encryption P2P file sharing NAT Firewall DDos protection Unlimited server switching Smart Purpose Selection Unlimited Data Transfer 24/7 Customer Support Internet Kill Switch Multiple Protocols and much more!
I just found out that PureVPN offering much better offer than this. They are now offering 5 years account, for the price of 1 year. Here you can get it:
Just to add, I got in on the 1 year free deal. The package content is complete with VPN and SmartDNS. I use a bunch of VPNs so I have not used ibVPN 24/7 but what I have used has been really good. I don't torrent but I use VPNs for streaming, gaming and to help out with privacy issues.
Speeds in Asia to Asian nodes are decent where I average around 40mbps with my 75mbps residential service.I have not been to my house in China yet to test it, but connecting to iBVPN through my Mainland office VPN, it is getting caught by the Great firewall. Among the VPN subs I have that are faster in Asia (eg Cryptostorm is not fast in Asia but useful for other purposes) IBVPN is faster than PIA Asian nodes, about the same speed as TorGuard's Asian nodes but not as fast as VPN companies based in Asia or Asia focused like , Iron Socket, Astrill, FlyVPN.
SmartDNS service could use some tweaking to include more services like Google Movies but the standard services are all there.
Service is excellent with fast responses and solutions both times I have contacted them.
After my year runs out I will be renewing next black Friday.
ExpressVPN is not a kind of VPN Provider which provide you heavy discounts and then compromise on quality. My suggestion is no to go with discount and go with quality. Here is a Review which describe in detail how ExpressVPN doesn’t need to offer such discounts.
thanks for the suggestion. When it comes to downloads, none of their servers match the speed of other services, say ibVPN for example. Having said that, yes I agree that PureVPN's sweden is still better than the rest.
Hmm, strange. I haven't experienced any of those issues you mention. Anyway, I'm glad you've found a provider you are happy with. Personally, I'm sticking with IPVanish, as I haven't got any complaints and the speeds are pretty impressive (compared to other providers I had tried in the past).
Wow, that't pretty harsh! I've been using IPVanish for over a year now, and I'm afraid that I'll have to disagree with your opinion... I use the VPN connection on all my devices for browsing, and I also stream Netflix US and HBO Now, as well as BBC iPlayer etc.
I don't know why you are terribly (pardon the pun ;) unhappy with them, but I'm still interested in finding out who would you recommend then?
Have been an AirVPN user for several years now, never once had a problem with them. Very satisfied customer, no VPN service I checked out in between has come close.
Their mission statement is also very clear on privacy and net neutrality, retiring and replacing servers when data centers no longer fit into this statement. Very open communications about such issues, should they come up, which I appreciate.
AirVPN's own client, Eddie, has come a long way. It's open source and very capable. Only ever used it on Linux, so can't comment on Mac. It's available for all three big platforms.
Can't say anything about Viking, but can wholeheartedly recommend Air. Oh, server speeds are amazing, too. Never experienced slowdowns or oversaturated servers.
It should be obvious that Perfect Privacy is just a brand name. There is no such thing as "perfect security" and we are not advertising as as such. But a VPN can improve your online security and anonymity. Just to be clear here :-)
And code sent via PM, hope you will like it.
Yeah, the more I research into surf shark and nord the more I absolutely and completely agree with you. Signed up for Mullvad this AM. Even if I am poor enough that $5 matters, if I'm paying for a VPN I expect it to actually do something to protect me from my government.

This is awesome, thank you! You have no idea how helpful these discounts are ^_^
But, um, /u/paperplans5 - I was looking at the NordVPN 1-2 year offers, and their checkout shows me "Limited time only, 9:30 hours left!" (It may just be the 2 year deal that is being labeled "limited time," actually.) Is that true, or just a marketing ploy? If it is true, do you know how many of these codes have time limits attached to them?
great deals but right now I'm using a free vpn on android, and it's working great, more than 5 month without any payment request vpn private
I've been with NordVPN for quite some time. About 4 years now. And the service is great. It offers faster speeds and unblocks streaming services. Customer support is available in live chat 24/7.
I'd like to note that experience is different on case to case basis. Try it for yourself and don't believe the bad reviews you see on other experiences. Nord offers 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied they will give you a refund.
You people need to get in on this deal, I'm in Canada connected with openvpn for Android on my smartphone maxing out my connection speed at 150 Mbps on a 7+ hour connection. Normally with other services I experienced slow downs after a few hours with the provided apps, but these guys don't have an app. The setup instructions were easy and wireguard is available! Oh and the pest part, openvpn for Android hasn't changed my phone's idle or active battery drain in any significant way, maybe an extra 0.01% per hour.
Whilst Im not agreeing or disagreeing the same can be said with Torguard, correct me if I'm wrong, no one found out about their 'breach' and others till the so called law suit / big press talk which is now silent.
Love to see these screenshots, I'm curious - it's easy to spot though just look at others like Torguard affiliates etc.
Good job.
In account settings you have the "Withdrawals" tab. After connecting your account with PayPal and when the refund from NordVPN is accepted, you can request a cashback withdraw.
The Paypal connection button can be found in Settings > Settings > Third-party apps.
Nice deal. I'm not competent to say if Ivacy is 100% legit VPN provider but from my experience their app is major downside for me. Windows app. Freezing, not connecting or reconnecting. Still no update even support told that it should be released month ago or so.
Here's a copy paste of my comments from the last AirVPN post. Don't mean to spam this subreddit but this is a great VPN and will worth the price especially with this sale:
I have been a customer for almost 5 years and can't recommend them enough. Very impressed with the speed (mainly P2P), never experienced any downtime, and you can have 3 concurrent connections to different servers with the same credentials.
One potential caveat: Netflix stopped working over it when once they started cracking down on VPNs. Not sure if that is still the case, as I haven't tried in a while. Maybe someone else can chime in about this.
>NordVPN is not being sued by anyone. The lawsuit was filed against Tesonet – a large tech company based in Lithuania.
>
>Nobody is alleging that NordVPN clients are being used in a “botnet” (and this would be easy to verify with Wireshark).
>
>NordVPN’s jurisdiction is still in Panama, even if all employees are not working in Panama. (Note: corporations are simply a legal entity to protect businesses and their customers.)
>
>The lawsuit was filed in a Texas jurisdiction known for “patent trolls” – but this does not change the two main points illustrated above. The “patent troll” accusation is only relevant to the question of whether Tesonet is indeed stealing Luminati’s technology – nothing else.
>
>NordVPN will be conducting an independent, third-party audit to verify their “no logs” claims, which they estimate will be done in the next few months.

Looks like there was an update to that article and saying that NordVPN is not being sued.
AzireVPN offers Wireguard for free now, while Mullvad offers Wireguard as a paid service.
And yes, it has been audited -- with only 4,000 lines of code, it is much easier to audit than OpenVPN or IPsec.
Furthermore, it should be included in the Linux kernel soon. This process has already been started.
I have been using it and it has worked very well for me so far.
I trust thatonesscuritysite and personally use Mullvad so although I wish you well with your business, I think you’ll have a hard time in this specific market where larger businesses have the edge with servers and reputations over time that’s longer than 9 months.
This is an ongoing offer. Always take advantage of their 30 day trial and test out the VPN to the max which includes various servers.
NordVPN's referral and commission rates are right up there so you're seeing a big push by a lot of people with a vested interest.
Additionally, there are other factors at play with performance issues like if you're running Windows 7 or 10, if you manually tweak your settings and if you use their service on a mobile device or not.
sign up for their free 3 day trial , if the speeds are acceptable to you, let the trial expire (you only need an email address to sign up)
they'll send you a "special offer" that will be the same thing, I think 77% off
oh my bad its for one year,

Translates to $2.5 a month, and if you use it, it sticks around for life, so that's pretty sweet.
I've heard good things about NordVPN too, and i'm probably going to try it out.
Question, why use a server from HK instead of Japan?
My speed vs HK via Torguard:
Result without VPN:
Edit: Oh, i see you're going through the VPN then speedtest vs a server far away.
This is through the Swedish Torguard VPN. Noteworthy is, i downgraded my internet connection and went from 1000/1000 to 500/500 today. Just for this month though.
Throw away PureVPN ASAP; they have revealed logs to FBI though disclaiming they are not keeping them, so stalker was busted. You could also try Nordvpn, it is reputable and go in line with express though cheaper
Yep. I just found out about it... I actually went with PureVPN, but then read about leaks and losing data, etc so I promptly asked for a refund.
I'm gonna end up going with ExpressVPN for it's rep and split tunneling ease.
Yes it is :)
> Can't decide to pick this or the NordVPN offer....
However, what I meant was don't simply choose a VPN by what's a "better offer", but choose one that fits what you need.
For example, we don't offer OpenVPN or a Linux client, but other VPNs do, so that would be a deciding factor for some people. On the other hand we have more EU based servers, so if that's more important then ZenMate may be the right choice, etc. etc.
I don't have experience with NordVPN but if other people are saying they don't have the problem you are experiencing with your service it's pretty obvious they are not going to agree. Maybe instead of treating them like an idiot you could have a dialogue with them to troubleshoot your issue.
Correct, that is our website not our servers. If we did not track this information then there would be no user functionality whatsoever.
We value your privacy at DefenceVPN, we do not use this phrase loosely.
Yeah, specially if they choose NordVPN, right? You should be ashamed of yourself, trying to defraud people like this, you and your friends are part of the problem, go and try to sell snake oil elsewhere.
okay thats fine.
I am very happy with this VPN, best speeds i have used, i am trying to watch US TV (Xfinity, DirecTV etc) in the UK, and tried ExpressVPN and Cyberghost which were both really poor as there was alot of pixelation on HD channels.
But your VPN is perfect, loads quickly and no pixelation on HD channels.
great work!
Which questions? That one would be able to find complaints about PIA? Sure, absolutely anyone should be able to find them. In fact they should be able to find complaints on almost any provider.
PIA was used here as a benchmark for NordVPN and the difference in my personal opinion is simply astonishing, I was using PIA for over 3 years and I didn't have any connections dropouts, no substantial degradation in the connection throughput and a customer care that was able to answer my tickets and inquiries on time with satisfactory answers, not the type of answers you would get from Nord (if you ever get any). It's not by coincidence that their dummy chat support is no longer operational.
Anyway, like was mentioned before, I'm not promoting any VPN service in particular, if you are happy with NordVPN be my guest. As long as you don't face issues, which given my experience will fatally happen, and don't need to engage with their support or care about privacy, then you should stick with them.
It's fruitless spending time with people that doesn't have a benchmark...
Same here from another satisfied user. Especially like the smart server selection where you choose what you want (torrenting, streaming, extra privacy, etc.) and then it gives you a selection of servers to choose from. I've been able to use Hulu fine with Ivacy on. Speeds and reliability are good.
The only problem I have is with the Android app - if you have an ipv6 address, it will leak. The Windows client has built-in ipv6 leak protection, a feature that has not yet made it to Android.
Over all though a pretty good experience.
Torguard requires you to pay $8/month extra on top of their monthly fee in order to get a dedicated IP address so you can "request" port forwarding to remotely access your computer from the internet (SSH). This works easily with other providers such as Private Internet Access, but accessing a computer running the torguard client from outside the LAN isn't possible even if you set up port forwarding on your home router.
This offer is still available. This is only my 3rd attempt at vpn after using for a year and giving nordVPN a try and being disappointed. After 3 days with Ivacy I am happy so far. The only issue is, when I set up a connection via openvpn (udp) with a server that's allegedly in my city, the speeds and pings are terrible. The support department confirmed my settings are correct and is now looking into their end for me. When i use their proprietary app (it only offers PPTP and L2TP) it's very fast, reliable and the P2P works well, and the app itself is pretty good so I can recommend it.
Sticking this out there for those who needs ExpressVPN referral code. Im still giving them a go and so far they're very steady and not slow at all. Im testing gaming with them atm and will write a review soon. Heres my referral code, hope to keep this chain running. ?referrer_id=9631783&utm_campaign=referrals&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=referral_dashboard
This offer, as far as I'm concerned, is utterly bogus. It's not a free trial at all. It's a "signup and give us all your personal info, including your credit card, and if you don't like it we'll give you 3 days to cancel. But if you forget to cancel in time we'll nail your credit card."
Genuine "free trials" for vpns are rare. One I can think of is AirVPN. No credit card required. Just stop and think how utterly stupid it is for a privacy related company to not offer a free trial but only offer a money back guarantee, or in VyprVPN's case they still require your credit card for their so-called "free trial." No thanks. And as for those with only a money back guarantee, what am I going to pay them with and how will I get my money back if it doesn't work out? If I'm concerned about getting my money back I'll have to give them my Paypal or a debit card or regular credit card. So there goes my privacy out the window. No thanks. When I make the commitment I'll pay with a prepaid credit card that I paid cash for. But have you ever tried to get your money back with one of those? Forget it.

It looks like sometimes, but it isn't. I already have seen excelents discounts from ibVPN (1 year for free), (4GPB/2 years) and some others. But the good deals does not happen everyday, you need to follow the subreddit for a while, checking it with some frequency, to take advantage of them as soon as they appear.
The "absolutely no logs" policy is echoed by every VPN company on my chart. I need specifics. If you're wondering what I'm talking about AzireVPN has the best spelled out no logs policy

Do you need Torguard's router to use their service? I saw on one website that you have to, and I haven't seen it said otherwise anywhere else. I ask because I will be using hotspots and public wifi almost exclusively.
Not auto-renew, since you have to email StackCommerce to renew. On the upside, the renewal is free, hence "lifetime" subscription. Though I guess that assumes both PureVPN and StackCommerce are still in business after five years.
In terms of price, I guess it would be worth it if it lasts even two years. Assuming, of course, that the service itself is any good.

The $39.95 price was when they were offering 72% discount. I bought Ivacy at that price. I think they were running their summer end campaign then. Their original price was always $143. The new discount however is a great deal. I would have renewed my subscription if it were about to end :(
I just switched to this service. Absolutely love it. In combination with pfSense and Torguard DNS servers/VPN I've got a really private network going.
Only thing I'd say needs some work is their mobile app.
I went with it. I'm an usual NordVPN user.. I've been noticing some speed issues and connection issues as of late. I hardly torrent. I mainly need a simple VPN in order to game while I'm at college (a few rounds of CS goes a long way in keeping stress in order).
2 chicago servers and both loaded up fine. Decent speeds and no noticeable lag outside of the normal.
I mean can't really go wrong with free and $0.99 a month for the beta price. Cheers!
Australia, India, Middle East are their worst servers, get another VPN for Australia and trial it before you buy. Australia is the worst location for VPN connectivity, i dont really know what you would need from there but its not really your ideal VPN escape cuz they were calling to ban VPN protocols.
If you want PureVPN fastest server use Luxembourg, Netherlands, UK, USA California & Chicago, Sweden and Singapore. Pure works fine for me and plus I use 6 different VPN services with the same servers they all work for me.
