AFAIK, there weren't any Pres that were pentaband 3G, so they won't work on T-mob's 3G network.. for now.
However, t-mobile is beginning to roll out 3G in the 1900mhz band, which will be compatible with the Pre http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/07/t-mobile-1-900mhz-3g-goes-live-at-moscone-center-in-time-for-wwdc/
I've used a case like this with an iPad, it blows, the thick border around the screen has a hard time staying flat and the whole case adds quite a bit of bulk to the tablet. I went with the official HP cover for my TouchPad but it's not here yet. Hopefully it's more on par in quality with the offical iPad case then the cheap ebay case.
Try Lg tv plus app For iOS https://apps.apple.com/ru/app/lg-tv-plus/id838611484
For android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.app1
I using on my android phone - all good, without any issues
There is still some hope:https://twitter.com/#!/BrynaAtHP
Also Newegg.com, Buy.com still have them and they might sell them at discounted price.
I was also thinking about Nook Color, but can it handle playing videos?
Got my 32GB model today. I wanted one but couldn't justify it over the iPad…now I can! First thing I did was check out this article talking about overclocking the device and adding patches. It was relatively easy and now my TouchPad very fast.
Also, don't forget to check Settings > System Updates for the 3.0.2 update. It speeds up the OS a considerable amount.
You are not alone. I tried searching everywhere possible (HP Store, Preware and the huge Information Library that we call the Internet), and so far it seems like there is no solution. I currently own a Touchpad with WebOS 3.0.4 and I am using a combination of wIRC and Bitlbee to connect to my ICQ, Jabber and MSN Contacts. No idea how to get Facebook to work with Bitlbee though
I was looking to do the same. I ended up using audio out from my cable box for wireless headphones (so I can hear living room TV when I’m in the kitchen) but the audio comes a half second before the TV audio, and that workaround doesn’t work for the smart TV apps. I’ve seen some adaptors like this, but have not yet tried one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FR4771P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4DV4D3RXV1ZBYZEHBV12

From VoodooVyper View Post : There's a trick to it. Enter your EPP site/HP Academy. Click tablets will show original price... instead, click the HP logo at top left, it'll bring you to the main intro site. From there, click Shop for Products and services and follow the tablet trail, and you will see the adjusted prices. This Actually Works!!
Enjoy!

16 GB Touchpad is not available for $99 yet
Old thread but I didn't see it quite answered so I figured I could help...
As people have suggested, you need a (paid) VPN service, and then you need to pay them a little extra for them to give you a dedicated US IP. Since it's dedicated (i.e. you're the only person using it) Netflix won't be aware of it and won't/ can't block it. A... er... 'friend' suggests Torguard, and he uses this to watch Netflix UK from overseas (with a dedicated UK IP, of course). Have a look online for Torguard promo codes.
Then as nmaturin suggests, get a cheap OpenVPN router and configure it to use this IP. My friend recommends the GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2 Mini Travel Router, which is USD20 on Amazon. You can then turn the VPN off and on with a physical switch, and through the router admin page you can easily change the VPN region (the same friend frequently watches rugby on a Hong Kong streaming service). The Torguard website has the set-up details for this particular router (not very clearly worded, but their Live Chat people are super helpful and very responsive, if you run into difficulties).
Connect your TV to this router (either wirelessly or by ethernet cable), make sure the VPN is enabled, then: profit. I guess you might need to power cycle the TV from the wall to fully shut down the netflix app and ensure it reconnects to the new region.
Disclaimer that my friend hasn't tried this with his own LG TV, but since he can watch overseas netflix on his iPad, Android tablet, PC laptop etc via this VPN router, he sees no reason why this wouldn't work.
(By the way, this assumes that you do indeed have the netflix app on your TV already or that it's available for you to download from the LG app store. My friend has tried accessing a different country's LG app store via the router, and that definitely didn't work. He guesses that it might be a TV firmware thing but wasn't bothered enough to investigate further).
Happy watching!
You need an OS to run retroarch to run the game, WebOS does not have that functionality.
Something like this would work for you
Well, the LG Universal Magic remote does that... that's the whole point of it.
I don't know about C1 OLED, but using a cheap xiaomi phone with an IR blaster I was able to access my regular (WebOS 3.5) TV service menu with this app (Lg Service Remote Control on google play). I was able to change the region easily using some forums.
HP shutdown of webOS division said to be 'imminent'
That sounds pretty reasonable to me.
HP bought Palm for $1.2 billion. What company wouldn't pay at least that to gain an OS with well over a million users?
All WiFi issues. Maybe on reboot after the update your TV connected to a different network, or connected differently somehow (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz? Different AP?). Check your network connection, disconnect and reconnect. Visit fast.com in the LG browser and check your connection speed to the Netflix CDN.
I've never seen a more unprofessional clusterfuck in all of my experience with online shopping.
"The only fault here is that the servers went down, and it continued accepting orders. I am sorry about this guys. :/ But the company is trying their best to fix this issue."
Apparently, the "server" went down. This downed server continued to list the item as being available each time they sold out.
"Hi, right now we are releasing the orders on first come, first serve basis and it depends on how much inventory we currently have.Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to fulfill and ship them as soon as possible."
onSale are making fools of themselves.

I used this search: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=folio+touchpad&_sacat=132141&_odkw=folio&_osacat=132141&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
and found a bunch. There are some over the $20 mark, so obviously those aren't better then the staples deal, which is still a good deal.
Try Emby (https://emby.media/). You can get the app on just about any platform, including our beloved WebOS TVs! Has a crapload of features and can sync your local media. Haven't tried it myself (but I plan to), I just did some googling and found a similar thread. Credit goes to /u/-k-o-k-
