One of our current girl ratties, Aretha, likes to make the beds with 400TC sateen cotton sheet pieces, and makes many trips to where I put the clean sheet pieces on the chaise lounge sofa and back to the RatManor. (She’s recently developed a mammary lump, and we have an appointment with the vet tomorrow for the operation. She’s in top health otherwise. I’d appreciate it if anyone can send good vibes her way. TY ♡ Aretha taking cotton sheets to make the bed)
Vine 2.0 was announced. It’s called byte . It’ll be released in 2019 (spring). They cant use the name vine. Its the same founder.
Meanwhile the Japanese made their own vine and decided to keep it for themselves
vine is back but in a different name, it's called byte now
as someone who was a little bit too young to have used vine but absolutely love watching some old vine compilations, i am happy
🥰thank you so much❣️ honestly that is the best compliment. i've always wanted to create things that no one has seen before. mostly i hope people feel some emotion or sense of calm when looking at them or while watching some of my animated watercolors.
the process is honestly difficult to catch on camera. i tried once and the end product turned out horrible because i was trying to rush with my camera's 30min cut off limit. i think i will have to live stream at some point. it's just lots of layered washes and drying.
you can see my failed attempt at a very early process video here. it's pretty terrible though and i have improved it some since then. there is also this super-short clip of part of the layering process.

I agree. We have two cages, the RatManor and the ferretCondo (similar to the double CritterNation). Our mischief of 4 girls seem to be comfy in the RatManor. I’ve had to use the RatManor when we adopted them from the MSPCA shelter last summer because they came from 3 separate cages, and I’ve used the carrier method to integrate them. The smaller RatManor worked well. I was planning to move them to the ferretCondo, but 2 of the girls had to go thru surgeries for mammary tumor removals, and the upstairs of the ferretCondo worked as the temporary hospital suite. Now the girls are about 22~24 months old, and moving might cause an unnecessary stress, so I’m just going to let them play in the ferretCondo during the RattieHappyHour as the extended play area.
It’s good to get a larger cage, but I would be careful about moving them. Oh, and btw, the RatManor is supposedly good for up to 5 rats, according to MainelyRatRescue. It’s kind of a pain to clean though! haha…
Best of luck in finding an upgrade mansion for your boys!!
They’re mostly made of almondButter (or peanutButter sometimes) & organic rolledOats, vitaminB12 fortified to ensure daily intake of it. They absolutely love it. Here’s a byte video loop of them enjoying ratCookies.
Its been out actually for a few months now, but really didn't gain too much traction. Original owners of vine made it together, project slowed down a bit after the one co-creator passed away from an overdose Byte
Every fucking day he’s making a meal like this. Yeah, sure, it’s for his family and looks amazing but...Jesus Christ. It’s like every dime he has goes into eating like a King
There is just not the same amount of people making content at the moment. But there are a few old viners on it, and a lot of new talent. Just look for it and look at peoples account. Vine took time too.
There are some gems. Here are a few I liked.
You can't make this up! https://byte.co/b/FiTp6QITvxI Each time I think Mark can't lower his standards even more, he exceeds my expectations. Who is his audience? The 202 people left on his Patreon?
Haven't y'all heard of Vine? (It's been dead now for a while, but definitelly not a new concept)
There's also service called Byte from the creator of Vine (Dom Hofmann) that should be launched this summer...
