Check out https://www.multcloud.com it's good for switching between cloud services. Just copy and paste all your files, and they're all copied over the cloud so it doesn't use any of your bandwidth.
And the first 10TB of files is free.
I think Multcloud (no "i") can sync it to another cloud storage site. Even if Google did take down user content, I doubt they'll bother trying to take down all copies of it across the web even if they somehow had the power to.
If you have all the dropbox files locally you can just copy those into your OneDrive sync folder.
Edit: I just googled it and found this service, sounds like it will do what you want without any local downloading/uploading.
Haha don't worry man it's easy.
P.S.: I might create a guide in the next weeks/months on how to exploit multiple MEGA Cloud free 50Gb plan accounts but until I do, use the above steps.
Cheers.
This was super helpful for me to abandon Flickr today: https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/move-photos-from-flickr-to-google-photos-1247.html
I used this service to copy my storage from one drive to Google drive a few months ago. It works really well, no local downloading/uploading is required and it works with most of the main cloud storage options.
Not sure if you have these files hosted locally still or not but looks like this company offers direct upload from OneDrive to google drive. Making account is free..... not sure about accessing afterwards though.
Just make sure you read the terms of service:
> MultCloud does not claim ownership of such Content and you agree that MultCloud may use, distribute, syndicate, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display such Content solely for the purpose of providing you the Service.
To me, this says that they're going to data mine you.
The best thing I have found so far is Multcloud. Even tho their privacy policy seems relatively good, I'd still prefer to have foss dektop/mobile software for it. I really did not understand why some users of this sub insist on downvoting this question post but thank you for your effort and time to tring to help me out, much appreciated.
They only have a Windows version. You could use MultCloud it's browser-based, to view each cloud account via the same web page and transfer files between them. But I'm not aware of any mobile app that 'combines' clouds like Air Cluster.
>From now on i'm copying to both clouds everytime I want to copy to Google
You can use https://www.multcloud.com/ to automate file synchronization between cloud storage providers.
Yep there was a post about it a few days ago. https://redd.it/js7rou
Make a bunch of free accounts. you can make a new account using the same email like this
only put 14.9GB on each account. Log in every 90 days. I use https://www.multcloud.com/ to log into all my account at once once a month. But I am also setting up RClone on a VM to take that duty over.
make acct here, https://www.pcloud.com/ for 10gb free (remote upload works, too) then make https://www.multcloud.com and move all Flickr files to pcloud or a different service. (mMega, Drive, Dropbox, etc)
No, you can't. Google Drive won't download things for you. You may look for third-party services that do this. The closest thing I know is MultiCloud, but they only operate between different cloud storage services, not arbitrary file download.
> Anyone familiar with SnapBridge?
I use it on my D5600, it automatically sends photos to my Android which immediately gets backed up to Google Photos.
The camera body has to be Snapbridge enabled though which the D7100 is not. Snapbridge compatibility is here. http://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/IMG/Assets/Common-Assets/WiFi-Compatibility.pdf
OP could also use Wireless SD-Cards http://www.toshiba-memory.com/cms/en/products/wireless-sd-cards/index.html
They can pair the SD card with their phone via Blutooth/NFC and have files automatically transfer to the phone then cloud.
For extra protection OP could also use a service like Multicloud https://www.multcloud.com/index.jsp?rl=en-US#home
which will keep Google, Microsoft, Dropbox etc in sync. That way if his phone also gets seized and searched the police won't be aware that google photos care getting copied off to another cloud provider.
Hey man, if its not too much trouble can you transfer this to mega? The above link doesn't allow us to download/import it because it has been flagged as getting too much traffic. You can use https://www.multcloud.com/home to do it easily. Just need a free mega account and a free pcloud account with this file, and just use it to transfer. It'll be done in a few hours.
nope. rclone got its api key banned (acd_cli got banned too) you either have to use amazon's software, odrive or something like https://www.multcloud.com (~8$ / month) to move your whole data to gdrive.
The best way is MultCloud (https://www.multcloud.com) They offer file transfers between cloud providers. The service is free up to 2TB of data transferred, after that they charge $8 a month. You can use the premium for a month and then cancel it.
> how do you do that thing where you can have a url in text?
Assuming you mean something like this
If so, put whatever the text you want in square brackets and place your actual url in parentheses.
For cloud to cloud transfers, independent of your computer and internet connection, look at either MultCloud or CBackup. Once the task has be set up in your browser, both use their own servers and internet connection, to handle the transfer. Your computer isn't required.
MultCloud (30 GB a month free) is the more established of the two, but CBackup has a far more generous free plan (2000 GB a month).
Multcloud and cloudhq feature the cross-cloud sync. https://www.multcloud.com/
https://support.cloudhq.net/how-to-sync-egnyte-and-dropbox/
However, considering your amount of storage, I would try using rclone first. It is a well-known file sync tool so should do the job for you. https://www.vmwareblog.org/single-cloud-enough-secure-backups-5-cool-cross-cloud-solutions-consider/
Glad we're back to discussion threads. Instead of monthly threads, I'd suggest a sticky thread for every 3-4 months, perhaps even 6 so that people can contribute to lengthy discussions on recurring topics.
Eitherway, I have a question for SLT users who have purchased work and learn addons. The website says office 365 is included in these packages, does this mean the bandwidth used on onedrive (part of o365) is deducted from this package instead of your regular quota?
If this is the case, I do have access to two o365 school and work accounts with 1tb onedrive space, with using a service like multcloud (upto 30gb free transfers/month), I should theoretically be able to transfer files from cloud to cloud (lets say mega to onedrive) and utilize the extra bandwidth made available through the work and learn addon to download them.
Is this possible? I remember people sharing public links to files stored in their corporate onedrive clouds back in early days when these plans were introduced, I never really understood the purpose back then, but I get it now. I've been hard at avoiding the addon culture since its launched since I didn't like the practice, however in this year I look forward to switch things up abit.
At only 195lkr/month, you get 30 gigs to utilize during anytime of the day and multcloud free tier lets you transfer just that amount from cloud to cloud, this does seem like an incredible value given the price of extra GBs and not having to stay up late to utilize off peak volume. The question is, is this possible at all or I'm imagining things?
Your input is appreciated. Sorry for the wall of text. Oh and wishing y'all a happy new year!
I used this service to back up google photo to a 5 TB Onedrive. The service also has a back up to Nas option. https://www.multcloud.com/ It opened multiple downloads at once and was done with 2 TB of photos/movies when I checked after work the next day.
I ended up using something called Multicloud!
I was able to transfer all my gmail inbox/labels, google drive, and google photos over to my new Gmail Account for free! It was over a year and a half ago, so I’m not sure if anything have changed, but that’s what I used and it worked pretty well!
Pretty sure you can mount gdrive in google collab and download to gdrive through that.
Not sure how much traffic you get though.
There are a few online services that do it to. like multicloud
https://www.multcloud.com/price
You could also setup a seedbox, download to that then upload to gdrive from that or just stream direct from it.
it's only two of you though it would be easier and cheaper for him just to get an RD account.
Here you go.. There are multiple ways to do it.
Eg: + Using Muticloud + Using "Share" option + Using google take-out
Read this article for detail steps.
Here you can see https://www.multcloud.com/price FREE = 30GB /Month . I was an early Beta Tester and still have 10TB for usage 8-)
I don't know how long it runs to copy. Because i do not supervising the process. It works fully automated every week in the middle of the night. All i can say is, it works since years and i had never an issue!
As you should also have a local copy of your stuff stored just upload this to one drive. There are some services that allow you to do what you want, but you also have to trust them.
With multiple cloud accounts you don't need to sync them all to your computer, simply use them as storage. Have a look at MultCloud it's browser, rather than app-based, and allows you to view and transfer files between numerous cloud accounts.
You can still use desktop clients to sync files to your two 'primary' accounts and have MultCloud move files between the clouds themselves.
I use Air Explorer a desktop app that displays multiple cloud accounts in a shared explorer window and will transfer files in any direction I want (between my computer and a cloud or between two clouds). I can see every file inside every account all from the same app and without needing to open a web browser.
As mentioned by the earlier poster if you don't rely on single accounts your files are better protected from loss. You might be surprised how much free storage you already have without realizing it (Google, OneDrive, etc).
I'm not sure how trustworthy this website is, but this company may have a very low effort solution to transfer photos from Gphotos to another platform https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/sync-google-photos-to-google-drive-5566.html. .
Hmm, had a look at https://www.multcloud.com/
Seems really dodgy. Giving some vague cloud provider the keys to your kingdom is bad OPSEC. I much prefer the security of vanilla Dropbox or Google Drive over a cloud aggregation service who probably have shitty security.
Just use a password manager to remember the credentials for each service you use, and if possible save the password in Firefox's built-in password manager with a good master password to prevent an infostealer grabbing your credentials from the browser.
https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/copy-from-onedrive-to-google-drive-3889.html
Log in Google Drive official website, click on the inverted triangle symbol next to “My Drive”, select “Upload Files” button according to your need to select files downloaded from OneDrive to your Google Drive.
Currently I use a site called https://www.multcloud.com/, I log into it once a month, and it will mass log into all my accounts. It is not perfect, and I am not 100% happy with it (having to share my credentials is not something I like to do) But I recently built a new ProxMox box and I am setting up my VMs and hope to have one manage all my remote account soon.
Wondering, do you know of a way to clone these TeamDrives? I've had a few disappear on me in the past, so I wanted to make mirrors of the one that lasted, without having to download everything to my computer first. I've used MultCloud in the past to clone cloud stuff without using my computer, but I don't know how reliable they are (Chinese company iirc, and have bandwidth etc. limits on free accounts). Is there some sort of rClone setup that would work?
It's the problem of network connection. And for most real world cases it's the server side problem, and you can do nothing about it.
The best solution for large file transfer over unstable internet would be BitTorrent. If it's not applicable, I'd recommend to first "download" from that web server to a more robust service provider, such as Google Drive: https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/download-directly-to-google-drive-1234.html
After that file is in Google Drive, you can download it to your local drive and it should be more stable.
If not done already I would try MultCloud. It's browser based and allows you to transfer files between cloud accounts. It uses MultCloud's servers, for transfers, so once a sync task has been started your browser and computer can be closed. A free account gives you up to 30 GB of data transfer per month.
Not sure if MultCloud works for you, but if you are not subscribed to any Google One plans, you should not have any problems of going over MultCloud's free monthly quota (30 GB/mo compared to 15 GB free Google Account shared storage).
I also do not have any problems with copying hundreds of MBs of individual files with Copy, URL to Google Drive (50 MB fetch limit for external URLs, no restrictions for Google Drive files), but I did not test this against an entire folder.
A*utomatically transfer*? Maybe the third-party tool works.
Try the MultCloud.
As a free multi-clouds manager, it can not only manage many cloud servers in one room, but manage different accounts of the same cloud, by which you can move all photos from your Flickr to Google Photos without downloading them in one click.
Besides, you can add its extension to your Google Web Store by Transfer Dropbox to Google Drive.
For more information you can visit the following:
I have never tried this, but there are websites out there that say they will copy it over the cloud for you. Basically, they are doing what you're doing - downloading, then uploading to the new location. You can google it - one place that pops up is www.multcloud.com . I'm wondering what their end goal is. They're probably trying to data mine or this is their startup idea. Again, use at your own risk as I've never used these services, but I'm thinking about it one of these days.
A file is just a file I can't see how a sync tool could differentiate between a file it should sync and one that's worse (but still newer) and shouldn't. If you are using the 15GB free Google Drive I would suggest setting up a further Google Drive account and then using MultCloud to copy all files from one account to the other (as a back up). The transfer happens between the two clouds your computer is not required. Once completed every file you now know to be fine will remain that way in the new Google account.
What's the actual breakdown of data that is:
What about how much data is:

I've a feeling that you have nowhere near 5 TB of Music & Documents.
So, here are just two quick, simple workarounds:
Use the service https://www.multcloud.com/ if you need to transfer 5tb+ of file it will get kinda pricey. One more option get RDP hosting for like $8 with 200gb to 250gb storage download all the files then reupload them.
Google Drive has some "cloud" specific which Dropbox don't (at least free version) - it can display you content of Google Drive without downloading files locally and you can specify which files need to be synced to local drive to stay available offline (however this is not unique and Microsoft OneDrive used to have / has similar functionality). However I never heard about cloud service witch allow direct download to cloud bypassing your local machine and I doubt it is supported at all. However looks like there are 3rd-party solutions which provides a way to do so: https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/download-directly-to-google-drive-1234.html
Actually, MultCloud can be a rather charming option. This app allows me to migrate numerous files to G Drive by simply clicking a few buttons. I don’t bother downloading them to my PC anymore and there will be no more worries that my PC will collapse again!🆒 It is also highly recommended by my friends btw, so here I am. I visited the official website and got one tutorial for you, I think it could be useful because I was initially starting MultCloud with these articles. Migrate G Suite to Google Drive 👈 There are very detailed steps on this page written by the staff from MultCloud, you can take a look. :)
Thanks for sharing. Recently I found a free app called MultCloud and it really helped me a lot! One of my friends suggested it to me and I fell in love with it immediately, I’m surprised by this product as it is super easy to use. It allows me to migrate numerous files to G Drive by simply clicking a few buttons. 😊 So I want to share it with you guys, hope it can be helpful. Also, I got one tutorial from the official website for everybody as I was starting MultCloud with these articles, you guys might wanna check it. 👉👉 Transfer Google Drive to Another Account
You might want to check out https://www.multcloud.com/
It helps you sync files (eg. photos) between cloud services (i.e. between Google Photos and OneDrive) in the background.
I’m now using a web app called MultCloud. One of my colleagues recommend it to me, this app helps me resolve the time-wasting problem, the task will still run even I close my browser or turn off my PC, so basically, this is the part I need most. Do you just need to transfer your files or have any other demands? I just moved to the MultCloud’s page and got one tutorial for you, you can take a look, hope it can help you. 🙂👉Transfer Google Drive to Mega
It's my understanding that Google One will eventually replace Google Drive. There will be more pricing options and I think the ability to share the space with family members.
If all you have are the free 15GB or the $1.99 (USD) 100GB plan, those prices will not change. https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/google-one-drive-1234.html
I guess you can opt-in early by downloading the app. (?) It would be nice to know if we could try the Google One without it messing up the way Google Drive currently works.
I am hoping against the odds that Google One would bring Photos back into Backup and Sync for desktop PC. That separation of Photos a couple of months ago really messed up my workflow.
There you go, https://www.multcloud.com/features/cloud-to-cloud-sync.html
I use this to sync 3 cloud drives with each other. Free plan allows only 50gb of transfer per month, which is sufficient for me. You can buy extra amount for $$. + when you use premium, you can schedule the sync. In free plan, you can only do the sync manually (by pressing one button).
I have one more idea...
Try using Multcloud. You can set up both Drive accounts and then transfer. You can use the free plan. It will limit the number of simultaneous transfers but it should get the job done.
Same thing with me and I’m looking for it, what just i get which’s for more than one year use; https://www.multcloud.com/ And it’s so costy but amazing service; drag and drop between all servers and support most of famous clouds g drive, box, drop box even pCloud which i use it ... etc, without changing files or folders, so u can transmit between: FTP to FTP, FTP to Cloud, Cloud to FTP They have premium servers for that but expensive 1GB for about 0.053 $.
MultCloud allows you to transfer files/folders between cloud accounts, in addition to two-way and one-way synchronization. It supports Google Drive, OneDrive and numerous others. With the free account you can transfer/upload/download up to 50GB of data each month. It's entirely browser based, but once a transfer or two-way sync has been started you can close your browser as all transfers use MultCloud's connections not yours.
Another possibility, if your drive contents exist in the cloud, would be MultCloud.
It exists solely in the cloud (no desktop app) so you could be on a 'third' computer and still set up a folder sync.
There are two versions free and subscription. I use the free version which provides one-way and two-way sync modes which work well. You can also ask it to send you an e-mail when synchronization has completed.
For the paid subscription version you are further offered a variety of synchronization methods supporting both inclusion and exclusion filters for file types, specific names, extensions etc. The synchronizations can also be set up as daily, weekly and monthly events. https://www.multcloud.com/product
Has anybody used multicloud? It looks like the best answer would be to use something like this to sync the dropbox and box folders to each other.
Has anybody used multicloud? It looks like the best answer would be to use something like this to sync the dropbox and box folders to each other.
Cloud Sync
MultCloud syncs two clouds or directories in two cloud accounts through one-way sync or two-way sync. One-way sync includes simple sync, mirror sync, move sync, cumulative sync, update sync, incremental backup sync and full backup sync all nine ways.
There's an option in Google Photos to make the photos visible to Google Drive. Once you've done that, you should be able to see your photos folder in Google Drive therefore you can do this to transfer them directly: https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/copy-from-onedrive-to-google-drive-3889.html
I use a service called MultCloud. The free version is good enough for my need. It will let you transfer 2 TB of data from one cloud service to another. Add the dropbox and google drive in your multcloud account and transfer.
However, the free version has limited speed and 100GB data transfer might take 3-4 days but it will save you the hassle of downloading them manually and uploading that to dropbox.
Can you not make a file request for a file and send the request link to your client?
https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/files-folders/create-file-request
OR use a dedicated service for the remote upload
https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/upload-file-via-url-1234.html
If you want to keep your google cloud compute credit or have already used it, I had a decent experince with https://www.multcloud.com when the rclone keys were revoked from ACD.
The transfer does take a lot longer, but it was admittedly a cheap and easy alternative.
https://www.multcloud.com will do exactly what you want.
Aside from that you could spin up a server on cloud.google.com it's like aws but Google version, it's cheaper than aws for something like this due to bandwidth.
Downlaod all your drive data to it, and re-upload it to O365. If you have a Gmail look for a $300 dollar credit for their cloud service, a lot of people got them, I had 300 in free credits.
This would probably be the fastest way as the server should have 1gbps up and down.
If you have multiple accounts you're doing I'd look into BitTitan it's not free but designed for enterprise migrations.
If it was me personally and just a few accounts I'd go the route of spinning up a server on Google cloud and doing it. It wouldn't take very long
If you can't do the "middle man" option of downloading from DropBox onto a computer and then to Google Photos then maybe you need to look at a cloud migration service like this one, https://www.multcloud.com/home
Essentially what you want to do is move data from Dropbox to Google Drive. Once they're in Google Drive it'll be easy to put them on Google Photos. So search for tools that allow you to migrate this way. Maybe even using the free service IFTTT can help you.
I tried multcloud which is free to transfer 2TB between ACD and Google Drive. I only had a few test files on ACD at the time to try it out, but it worked as expected.
I used https://www.multcloud.com/home
It's free for 2 TB bandwidth for a month, you need to give them login infos for both Seedbox FTP and google Drive. I somehow had way better speeds telling to copy files from mega.nz to google drive vs FTP to Google Drive.
My google drive is disposable, 1$ .edu account and is my seedbox, 1$/month 20 GB. But if you can't lose account as they your login info, don't use it (dunno how to fully explain)
Got multiple hubiC accounts with my friends since we care about storage space and data safety. One hubiC account offers 25GB free space, more than common cloud services like Dropbox, Google drive, etc. Besides, France has some strong data privacy laws to prevent the government or third-party software from accessing your data without your permission so there's no need to worry about data security.
My friends and I choose MultCloud to manage multiple MEGA accounts. We add them into one MultCloud account so that we can view all files from different accounts at the same time. It's possible to sync, also to download specific documents, not all.(but manually)
Recommend a free web application named MultCloud since it also supports the sync among multiple accounts of the same provider. Thus you don't have to switch any account after logging in. You can use it to sync files from OneDrive to another cloud service or other OneDrive accounts directly in the browser.
Not a spam but I tried MultCloud before to sync Evernote and Google Drive cuz it supports many other clouds also. So I can sync files among multiple cloud services and several accounts without downloading anything or repetitive logging in.
Well you can try different clouds for different needs using an interface like this: http://otixo.com/ or this https://www.multcloud.com/ Or find a cloud like yandex that is pretty cheap: 100Gb per $20/year! I just don't know how is it reliable or not.
