What is Reddit's opinion of Fraksl?

Try video feedback with a mirror in the loop. You can get so many patterns you find in nature. (This app actually approximates it pretty well).

I've had this theory for a while that we're basically 3D "feedback" going through a 4D(5,6,7, etc...?) camera-TV apparatus (something akin to the Logos).

All video feedback is is raw light continuously iterating through a function that modifies the output each time, which then immediately becomes the input again...just like how a fractal is. Pretty sure the same is "true" of matter in 3 dimensions, though unsure of the mechanism

Somewhat related, but recently I downloaded Fraksl (I think only on Android). Although you can't zoom into infinity and the controls are not intuitive at first, it's pretty darn trippy "creating" your own fractals. If you do it right, you can even get some that move.

Fraksl is used to interactively make fractals.

When you start the app it's best to slide with one finger to the right, then rotate & zoom in with two fingers.

Interesting, I remember having this after playing for an hour with Fraksl app. If you turn/zoom the thing just right it goes into sort of a feedback loop with colors rapidly shifting. Afterwards I couldn't fall asleep for hours since I had full blown CEVs, was scared that I broke my brain permanently. My guess is that this stuff can put our visual brain cells into a feedback loop state as well since it's very similar to what they produce when crossed up by psychedelics.
Anyway, great stuff, love these "curated" AI-generated pieces, almost as if you're collaborating with it.

For me it was only very mildly therapeutic. I might be using it more if I hadn't discovered Fraksl, which seems far more therapeutic.

There is an Android app called Fraksl that lets you create and interact with those kind of animations. You might have to play around with it for a minute to get the hang of it. But it's great fun!

Not a game, but take a look at Fraksl. It's a freeform fractal graphics toy. You just slide your fingers around on the screen and it makes some of the coolest colorful intricate designs.

The free version is awesome enough but IMO it's worth buying if you really get into it. I recommend this to everyone, even toddlers love it.

We'd especially like to use the sub to share screenshots from the app because the new version will have a feature to share them directly from the app.

There is also this app, fraksl which is pretty darn good that could do with music integration and maybe a cardboard mode that would allow for interaction with a gamepad.

Found this app few days ago and I just figured the people on this sub might appreciate it as much as I do.

A video is the only way to demonstrate this app obviously, but You really can't fully appreciate its' genius until You use it Yourself on a touchscreen device.
