I thought it'd be useful to know how long it generally takes for requests to be processed so I figure I'd start a comment thread for others. After your request has been processed, feel free to post how long it took so others will know what to expect.
You can use this calculator to figure out the exact number of days
This is patently untrue and frankly a lie. "Bitcoin Cash" has its own subreddit. bcash
is the fork of Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency, that Bitfinex (one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges) will list as bcash
with the ticker symbol "BCH".
Proof is here: https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/212
Pertinent text:
>As such, we plan to use BCH as the ticker symbol and “Bcash” as the descriptive name to avoid confusion with Bitcoin.
/u/todu and other moderators of r/btc persist in breaking Reddit.com's Terms of Service regarding creating a subreddit for advertisement means. What they are planning on doing is branching out to other subreddits to further their commercial advertising means.
This is entirely untruthful. The entity that coined the term bcash
and the ticker symbol was Bitfinex, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. We are merely trying to support the users of that cryptocurrency. As you can see, there are numerous reddit users (some contributing to the ToS-breaking commercialization of r/btc) attempting to garner control of subreddits in order to place advertisements.
I am requesting moderatorship of an abandoned subreddit in order to support users of the cryptocurrency "BCH" (bcash
) listed on Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/212). For some reason, /u/todu is trying to demonize people who merely seek to support new users. I urge you to ponder if that type of person would make a good moderator.
>He is a supporter of a competing currency called "Bitcoin".
I support all cryptocurrency, including bcash
, the fork of Bitcoin.
As you can see, Reddit Admins, /u/todu is merely attempting to branch out r/btc's advertisement scheme. I urge you to take notice of their breakage of Terms of Service.
I can not give you the name because they may have it private to protect their name.
Your can follow the below link and message the mods of the subreddit and they will see it.

>Well, that is brigading.
It's a punishment for nothing, especially when it's obvious that I have been using reddit for quite a while and I don't do this constantly. Instead I lost my account and a subreddit that I used to be a mod of. This is bullshit, a warning would be more than enough.
>Doxxing is a bannable offense
You don't seem to understand what is the case here, so I'm giving you an example of what I did:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates
This is a publicly available info which was put willingly by that person. I got shadowbanned for posting this kind of information. Is this really shadowban worthy in your opinion?
I'm not sure why it was banned (possibly for correct reasons).
But in any case, it would make a nice subreddit for people using the citation software Zotero, so I'm putting it up for request.
I have read the rules and understand that my request can be easily denied due to the new account and lack of karma, however, I'm hoping the rule statement "The exact criteria used in evaluating a request is left to admin discretion, and the input here must be on topic and drama free" in the rules can apply to me.
We are in the process of a community take over of SilkCoin and we are looking to change the ticker to SILK. /r/SILK has been inactive and it's mod account deleted. I have also been made a moderator of the old subreddit /r/SilkCoinOfficial and will be updating that today to reflect the current state of SilkCoin.
If you are still unsure I should be granted /r/SILK, you can check our public trello and see where I have volunteered to moderate reddit for SilkCoin and also expressed me concerns about getting approved by the admins, haha :-)
Thank you for your consideration :-)

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/redditrequest) if you have any questions or concerns.
The english language disagrees with that definition. You quoted the reddit version, which isn't what abandoned actually means. One look at the contentless sub will show you what abandoned means. I'm requesting the abandoned sub, not the un-abandoned user acct.
Soon to be released with new content, and general community growth expected with long term plans:
• GStore
Other well-curated Subreddit for titles by Wildlife Studio Group:
• r/Zooba • r/TennisClash • r/Sniper3D • r/WarHeroes • r/WarMachines • r/Suspects
I want to use the subreddit for the Stellar Decentralized Exchange (SDEX https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/concepts/exchange.html) where discussion can be made about all tokens, anchors, market making, scams, liquidity, etc. There will be disclaimers and educational content created to help guide readers.
alright, ill keep that in mind, he'll still need to send me a PM though for me to consider him, if you want you can direct him to the post i just made

Did the whole thing with you, /u/edgarzigne and /u/SilverWolfpt ever get resolved? If not that'll be our first order of buisness

Admins can check the mod log if they want to have proof of other moderators being inactive at moderating the subreddit.
Previous top moderator went to another platform leaving the top position to one of the inactive moderators (just inactive at moderating not the site as a whole) and without giving full permissions to anyone.
Unfortunately I can't message the mods because the sub has been banned for being unmoderated.
As for my plans for the subreddit, I’m on a team for a nonprofit called ‘No Label.’ We curate talks with different artists across the country to showcase underrepresented and non-traditional narratives. We’ve hosted talks with Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, Terrace Martin, and many more. We want this sub to be a place for the event attendees to come and discuss the ideas from the talks. Most of our attendees are young creatives, and we want this sub to be a community for them to also come together and connect.
Here's a link to the press that we've gotten over the past year!

Reddit admin, please don't give that sub to OP. Because 'Bitcoin cash' is a coin with more than 4 Billion dollars.
'Bitcoin cash' and 'Eth coin' are the two most famous altcoins. They compete with each other.
OP is a fan of Eth coin per his post history, it's quite possible for him to use that sub to promote ETH coin. It's not fair for fans of Bitcoin cash.
Dear TheOpusCroakus, the requester was putting up the fake spam to make it look like the sub was unmoderated. It was a small sub I built and he wanted to steal the name and our followers so he is using this redditrequest fraudulently to add to his network of spam subreddits like /r/onlinegambling which are used to push illegal casinos.
you can see proof here of the ads to illegal casinos they put up https://www.screencast.com/t/PkkKmWaK0 which they hid today after they saw we posted in another thread. just hiding it seems to be an admission of guilt as they dont want any admins to see it. the casinos they are showing we warn people about in our discussions so it really sucks the sub is being used to scam people when it was made to help people avoid that.
Since the OP was the one spamming it was actually moderated and this should be returned to original moderators
hello my subreddit /r/casualgambling was accidentally given away to new mods.
i was very active on the sub posting every week and starting discussions with members so i shouldn't have been removed. there was some kind of mistake with me missing the mod mail message. i take good care of the sub and will take even better care to check mod messages to prevent this from happening again. i grew it from 0 to almost 1000 and now this new guy is just trying to profit off the community and has nothing but worth intentions for it.

Yep. It's totally never happened before where ever increased censorship lead to dramatic decrease in actual content and therefore viewership. Nope, it's just a formal logical fallacy and that's all. Nothing to worry about. It can't possible happen because my forensics coach told me it's a fallacy. There's no such thing as actually slippery slopes. Nope, never.
I assume the sub currently has no mods given the bot doesn't ask me to send them a message.
Anyhow, I'm planning to repurpose the sub for a Humankind™ community on Reddit. The goal of /r/Humankind will be to provide a safe place for informative, interesting, and humorous content and discussions related to Humankind as well as a place where people share ideas, tips, tricks, and strategies to their fellow gamers and organize groups to play the game.
I will set up some main rules and guidelines:
Made this to promote my game http://www.kongregate.com/games/HarbingerGames/stay-in-the-light?acomplete=stay as a way to get feed back and show comming updates for the game... and it banned me, please help!
I might just have something for this as well!:) Actually, not me but something called stamp - they have this about offline music and how to get it, then switch to any other streaming platform in a jiffy: https://freeyourmusic.com/blog/platforms-let-listen-music-offline/

Ignore Blazr- you are simply signing up to an email list to be notified once the product is released, which is very soon.
The posts are stored on distributed community-owned decentralized servers, as in the case of https://diasporafoundation.org/

I believe in open spectroscopy. That's why I'm an admin on these spectroscopy SourceForge projects:

n8n is an automation program. I recently started using it and wanted to get some help/share my first project (a Spotify 'discovered weekly' playlist backup).
Instead of making a pushy/out of context post in r/selfhosted, I searched up n8n subs. I found that the mod for r/n8n hasn't been active in 8 months and the sub hasn't been nurtured at all. I'd like a shot at building it up!
I see a lot of people trying to sell these, here they are for free.”Fraud Bible 2021”, “Method bible 2020”, “koonbible v1 & v2”, “The Anarchist Cookbook Explosive Guide” , “NordVPN Dumps” just dm me I have all this stuff for free

Hi u/Goldennuggets-3000, this is the official brand account for ExpressVPN (can verify via DMs and company email if necessary) - we requested mod access a while ago beat us to the punch. We're also in the process of submitting a trademark request, as it's a brand risk right now. Is it possible to be given Mod access instead/as well?
I am an ExpressVPN user & a computer engineer with 30 years experience. My plan is to make the sub more active & of course control the spam which has appeared.
To give context to this request, I am one of the volunteers helping the game developers of Idle Angels to set up their community engagement on Reddit. Unfortunately the sub name has been taken by a user who now looks to be inactive.
I have messaged the sole mod through Reddit chat and have received no response. I have no issue with the original mod staying on the mod team. Even better if the user is still playing the game and starts being active again.
The sooner we can have access to moderating the sub, the sooner we can set up the subreddit for this game. If you need any additional information from me, please post here or message me.

This is the app in question: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.workSPACE.Fraksl
We'd especially like to use the sub to share screenshots from the app because the new version will have a feature to share them directly from the app.
