Moon+ Reader Pro blows everything out of the water, once you learn it.
Functionality & features for days! And it's not the battery hog Kindle turned out to be.
I really like Moon+ Reader Pro, it's the only reader I've ever used so I cannot compare it to other apps. Bought it on discount for 99c

ICYMI, on-sale ang Moon+ Reader Pro ngayon. 115 pesos nalang.
Moon+ Reader Pro. Tem tudo, melhor ver na Play Store o que ele tem, mas vou citar algumas:
Minha Estante
Integração com ColorDict
Salva posição e sincroniza via Dropbox
Algumas operações por gestos
It gets really difficult to find things in Google Books once you have a large library, unfortunately.
I'm currently using Moon+ Reader on a dedicated tablet, but I miss the cloud syncing from Google.
For sure! If you're an android user, check out Moon+ Reader Pro, and if you're an iPhone user, GoodReader I believe has similar functionality - basically the ability to turn any ebook into an audio book..
Anyways, I digress a little but I'm glad to turn you on to some good learning! The first book on Manson's that I really got tweaked on was Models... The first few chapters that focused on self betterment withiut any outcome dependence was eye opening.. Granted its still supposed to be skewed towards pickup, but it's so ambiguously written that it's amazing at turnung anyone into a self confidence machine - essentially spurring people to become well rounded and diverse for themselves, as it's not only self fulfilling but equally ends up attracting others in a mgnectic fashion... People tend to gravitate towards those who are confident in their own lives vs sponging off others.. I ended up giving up on the boom once it got more cringyy, but it did pave the way towards appreciating and recommending him as an author to others!
You can try word, Excel from Microsoft.
You can use Moon Reader for PDF files. You can also use Adobe pdf reader If you are using it on PC and you need their solution.
I use moonreader for mobile reading and have no problem reading pdfs. I guess it's really up to publisher if they release a true ebook with good typesetting. Here's some math pdfs btw.
Moon+ Reader Pro for reading epubs (paid, but it's cheap and definitely worth it).
Novel Library for reading online.
You're welcome, I'm glad to be able to add a bit. I too appreciate the Dramione communities very much, especially this one 🙂
The app I use is Moon+ Reader Pro.There's a basic version as well. It's pretty awesome, but only available for Android devices. I download fics as epubs, import them in the app, and then read them, tag them, put them in folders, give them covers.
I too keep track on goodreads as well, but not all fics have been added there. I think a user can add books/fics, but I haven't tried. My app doesn't connect to a goodreads account, though, not like I think Kindle does, so I add books to my goodreads manually.
Keep enjoying Dramione 🙂
Agreed about Moon+ Reader Pro; I think it is a good candidate for the all around best Android e-reader app, e-ink or no.
I bought the paid version so many years ago that I no longer even remember if it has any features over the free one --- I might have bought it to donate to the developer. It does a particularly good job of not only extracting txt from PDF if present (no OCR), but also unscrambling the txt from multi-column articles. Its TTS works great, too.

Both Moon+Reader (my favorite paid ebook reader) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp and Cool Reader https://f-droid.org/app/org.coolreader (my favorite free one) do this for Android.
I use Moon+ Reader Pro on Android. Here's the non-pro (free) version; I upgraded for a few more features, no ads, and to support development (and it doesn't hurt that I regularly have free Google Play credit from surveys).
THIS! I've been doing it for almost a year now. If you are looking for a good app that has an amazing interface I use Moon+Reader, the paid version has a TTS function and I get all my files in epub. You can just get all the epub from light or web novel using your favorite apps, I use an web to epub converter or get them from the internet. It has been an amazing experience!
If you want a multipurpose reader, Moon+ Reader pro isn't bad. I've been reading .cbz files with it and while it doesn't have a million bells and whistles or anything, it gets the job done.
Added benefit of connecting to your Google Drive so that you can store your comics in the cloud and download them as you need them.
Not sure if it's still on sale, but it was on sale over the weekend.
I tried Perfect Viewer and while it's pretty good, it doesn't have enough added features, to me, to justify getting another app for it.
There is MoonReader. It has a dictionary function built inside. Works great! You can even set German-German dictionaries so the learning effect is even bigger :)
On the Google Play Store page there is a Developer contact section.

Hope that helps!
Look no further go for Moon+ Reader Pro this is the best.
Yet if you want to try first then here is the Free Version
It's an epub reader, so if you're invested in Kindle's ecosystem you'll have to do some ... space shifting ... (Apprentice Alf is your friend here) in order to get your books into a format that works with the reader.
Moon+ has a specific configuration option to enable two-page layout on folding phones (I don't have one, but I suspect this would be an amazing configuration on a Surface Duo, for example).
In Moon+ Reader Pro, if you go to Miscellaneous options, there's a "Dual page layout" option. Tap that to get more configuration options, and you'll find "Automatic dual page mode for foldable phone". It will then do single-column on the cover screen, but two columns on the inside screen.
Just use Moon+ Reader or any pdf reader along with LookUp Dictionary. It's the best experience you can get too :)

My favourites are Moon+ Reader Pro
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp
and Cool Reader from f-droid https://f-droid.org/packages/org.coolreader
Kindle was once great but ditched it after costly books and monopolistic behaviour. instead use Calibre to convert and TTS feature with moon reader app. I read books this way.

More you can go for audiobooks.

Let me know if anything needed.
Use moon reader pro and use TTS feature within it. Using it for years and helping the developers continue making the project great. Let me know anything else.

I use <strong>Moon+ Reader Pro</strong>.

The Moon+ Reader on Android will read any document to you.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp
Most of my favourites are from f-droid.
The only one that leaps to mind from Google Play is
Moon+ Reader Pro
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp
which is the only ebook reader I use from Google Play.
I spend far more time reading in Cool Reader because it's FOSS, and likewise for all my other routine favourites. Monument Valley and. ..-2 I think qualify for GGAps based on their lack of need for unnecessary permissions.
Another Google Play app I'd nominate is
Weatherbug Elite
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aws.android.elite
Thinking about it, all the other apps I adore I love at least in part because they're FOSS, and have reasonable versions in f-droid.
I dont really read VN but I can tell you a quick way to make your transition to LN easier or just more plausible. For some time now Ive had a really hard time sitting down to read as I usually did, either I had too much stuff on my hand, or I was just too tired by the time I came back home. So I decided to start reading light novels as an audiobook in my phone. My prefered app is Moon+Reader, it has a Text to Speech function that has become my to go to when im driving or doing stuff around the house. I get my light novels in epub format and you can even link the app to your dropbox or google drive so it very good when moving files from your computer to a phone. The speech can be changed to any of your phone's predetermined voice options. You will be surprised how fast you get used to them.
If anything it is an amazing book reader with a very nice interface ^^
You can use MoonReader Pro since you're on Android. It will use text to speech and if you use google tts there are multiple voices and iirc there are other tts apps that can broaden your choice of voices if the google ones aren't your favorite.
Moon+ Reader has loads of customizable options for page turning including swipe and tap and custom regions for page turn actions. Theme, colour and font customizations.
There is a jump to chapters feature as well as a horizontal book progress bar which a user can drag to move, but there isn't a popup display like in the Kindle..
Hugely customizable and can sync your progress across devices and has support for popular cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive etc.
Try the free version. If you like it, the pro version goes on 50% off sales every few months.

Moon+ Reader Pro - Great for ebooks. The pro version drops the ads and gives you Google Drive syncing.
Thanks for the thread btw, was wondering how to spend the credit myself.
Moon+ Reader Pro Nice looking app with a lot of customization features. Built to read your ebooks...but also handles your pdf annotating stuf in a more or less rudimentary way.

Moon+ Reader Pro - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp
Auto scroll, position sync, night mode, themes. Lots of customizations available.
Moon+ Reader has got all the features and offers an elegant UI.
Also Moon+ Reader - has epub, mobi + pdf support
Moon+ Reader Pro is just perfect
If you want to read something that j-novel publishes, then you can buy e-books directly from them DRM-free. You could also buy their books elsewhere, but the "Premium" editions that they sell directly typically have extra content that isn't available in the other e-book editions (be it extra images or short stories at the end or something similar). You can also sign up to read the "pre-pub" versions of their stuff rather than buying the e-books, but I think that those are only available until the book is actually published, and I expect that there are further fixes between then and the final e-book. I never read any of their stuff until they actually release the final book though, so I don't know the details about pre-pub.
If you want to read novels by publishers like Yen Press, Seven Seas, or pretty much anyone else publishing light novels as e-books, then you can buy them pretty much anywhere that you can buy e-books. Personally, I'd recommend kobo.com, since they use standard .epub files (albeit with DRM in most cases), and it's not all that hard to remove the DRM if you'd like to.
As for how to read the actual files, you're going to need an e-book reader program. calibre is one option for the PC. Personally, I put the files on my tablet and use Moon+ Reader. Either way, there are plenty of e-reader applications out there to choose from. However, most e-book sites have their own e-reader application that allows you to read their DRM-laden books, which is what you'd need to use if you don't go to the effort of removing the DRM from the books that you buy.
For some light novels that haven't been officially licensed, there are fan translations out there on various sites. The biggest one that I'm aware of is Baka-Tsuki.
Moon+ Reader Pro is currently on sale, 50% off!
I used a Windows 10m phone (950) until ~2 weeks ago when I switched to Android. What I've found in the process is that while Android certainly has way more apps, the handful of apps on W10m written by developers who truly care are much better than their equivalents on Android. So at least you have that going for you.
For me personally, I mainly do three things on my phone once you exclude communication stuff (so ignoring texting, email, and facebook):
No, but there is a great app for android called "Moon+ Reader Pro" that will do this perfectly.
Mis sugerencias serían:
- Moon reader pro (en una tablet o celular -yo lo uso en el celu-).
E readers baratos:
- Nook
- Kindle
Moon+ Reader Pro (yeah it's a paid feature)
Markor: best markdown editor for android.
MinMinGaurd: an ad blocked which doesn't leave a blank space for the blocked ad, it completely removes the ad, as if it wasn't even there.
MiXplorer: best file explorer, have a decent amount of plugins.
Moon+ Reader Pro: an ebook reader app. have every thing, from customization to stats.
Moxy Icons: you have to see the beauty yourself.
MX Player Pro: I don't think this one needs any explanation.

Best book reading app I came across so far.
I agree, my personal favorite. Here's the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp
Moon+ Reader Pro does this. I've only done it with light novel PDFs though, not sure how far it can take it.
Moon+ reader Pro does what you want. Probably the free version also does it, I am not sure about that.
Have you checked out Moon Reader

I use this and it's excellent.

Buy a cheap Fire tablet from Best Buy (I recommend the Fire 7 9th generation (2019) or the Fire 8 10th generation (2020) and at least a 64GB micro SD card to download and store books on.
Install the Google Play apps on an Amazon Fire tablet using the Fire Toolbox and disable all the Amazon kruft (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/windows-tool-fire-toolbox-v10-2.3889604/).
Install your epub reader of choice ( I am partial to Moon+ Reader Pro: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp&hl=en_US&gl=US). You can also download & install the Nook, Kindle, and Kobo apps from the Google Play store to purchase books, but I prefer to buy DRM-free direct from publishers and authors, or get books free from Project Gutenberg, Feedbooks, and other public domain sources.
Also install Overdrive like others recommend, but in some markets Overdrive is transitioning folks to their new app, Libby, which also works fine with the setup I've described above (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.overdrive.mobile.android.libby&hl=en_US&gl=US).
Also, get Calibre to manage your ebook library: https://calibre-ebook.com/
I've been rocking a 2015-era Fire 7 5th generation for the past 5 years and it works great. Eventually the battery will need to be replaced, but it is fairly trivial to order a new one online and crack the case to install it.

Personally, I use syncthing to sync the files on my tablet with my PC. I wouldn't have expected an e-book reader to have any functionality like that. But using syncthing, I can not only backup files from my tablet, but I can fully organize my epub files in the file structure that I like on my PC and have that automatically reflected on my tablet. I then use a file browser to navigate to the books on my tablet and open them in the e-reader app of my choice. I currently use Moon+ Reader Pro, which does not have ads and does give you a lot of control over the color scheme. It does cost money though. The normal version is free, but it has ads. I don't know how intrusive they are, since I basically never put up with apps with ads and always buy the app rather than having to deal with ads (or choose a different app if there is no way to get rid of the ads). Overall, I've quite liked Moon+ Reader. I used to use EbookDroid, which IIRC is free and does not have ads, but I didn't like it as much. It has a dark mode, but it likes to show a negative version of the images when you use it, which I did not like. I have no clue how good either of those apps are at doing stuff like managing your library, because I have zero interest in using an e-reader app for that. The file system takes care of it, and I just need the e-reader app to display the book I open with it, not manage my books.
I tried and it blocked my account. And it was a hard job to request for restoration by telling them excuses eventually they did it again and that was forever. But now it is more strict than ever and amazon is also like google working with the law. My advice and current condition are that I read ebooks through moon reader pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp) and listen to audiobooks through Smart AudioBook Player (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ak.alizandro.smartaudiobookplayer). If an ebook is incompatible or unreadable then I use calibre: The one-stop solution for all your e-book needs. Comprehensive e-book software. (https://calibre-ebook.com/). My job is done with books. Looking nowhere else. If you need any help for more, let me know.
Moon+ will also give you continuous scrolling and give you the option to put your pdf in "dark mode".
Currently on sale. Pirate or Purchase, upto you.
This is what I use and it's very good.

Have you tried this? I haven't really used it but I heard pretty good things about it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyersoft.moonreaderp&hl=en
This is what I own, an ASUS Transformer TF700T. I love it but it comes with a caveat.
> Summary > > Screen Size 10.1 inches > > Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 > > Max Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 pixels > > Processor 1.60 GHz Tegra 3.0 > > RAM 1 GB DDR3 > > Hard Drive 32 GB > > Graphics Coprocessor NVIDIA GeForce > > Chipset Brand NVIDIA > > Wireless Type 802.11bgn > > Average Battery Life (in hours) 9.5 hours
I use mine for almost exactly what you're looking to do, reading, email and reddit.
It feels great in the hand if you prefer a sharper edged metal body (like the HTC One M7, which I also own). There's very little plastic feel to it at all. The screen is beautiful to look at.
It's also very easy to root and rom, and has a decent, active developer community (if you're into that sort of thing).
So what's the caveat?
If you plan on pushing this tablet past reading writing and a little Netflix you're going to have some trouble. It's an older model tablet (released in July 2012) and ASUS has some issues with using poor quality RAM which under-performs. Coupled with the 1920x1200 screen resolution, the tablet will suffer under high graphics demands.
However, if you're buying a 10 inch tablet for low resource use applications, then I can't recommend this thing enough.
If you want something a little newer, then ASUS also has this. I haven't used that one, though my daughter has the 7 inch version of it and loves it (I also think it's great).
Hope that helps.
