I left my Bandit at my old place for a few days when I moved to where I am now. It blew over in a storm and got left there until I got back by which time, water had got inside the digital clocks and corroded some of the circuitry.
At £140 minimum on eBay for used ones even, I didn't bother checking the price of new ones; just ended up buying a handlebar mount for my phone and a GPS speedo app instead (although of course, I still lost the fuel gauge, neutral light, etc.)
Yeah, I wish they'd picked it up for me.
Nu e recomandat (pe langa faptul ca e limitat, te poti trezi si cu contul blocat pentru mock location - in avion, de ex).

This is what I use. not that its good, but its what works. free version is all you need. If you like others, check out the similar section to see what else the store has to offer.
Minor text fixes: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k9s4veek4obf7r1/SDf.png?dl=0 this is what it looks like after setup. Like all other overlays, your breaking the TOS if you are using it. but its weakly enforced from past experience.
I use Ulysse Speedometer. not that its the best but the fact that it works. you just need the free version for the ads are not too much of a problem. it has some setup to it. but if it becomes too much, there is always others in the store. NOTE: Overlays use is breaking the TOS. but from my experience with ingress, its lightly enforced.
I sprang for the pro version, but the free version works quite well too.
It tracks a whole bunch of data, integrates with other apps, and has a funky but useful interface.
Best GPS speedo app I found when I replaced the clocks on my streetfighter with a digital dash was Ullysse. I liked it so much after trying all the alternatives, I bought the full version, even though the ads were fairly unobtrusive as it was.
The app I use is not the best one or the lightest one but it is the one I have been using for a very long time.
You can see similar apps with a search term "speed overlay" in your app store of choice.
The one I use is: ulysse speedometer
I don't think this is exactly what you are asking/looking for, but there's an app called Ulysse Speedometer for Android which let's you put overlay gauges onto other apps, including Google Maps.
There was a tools thread here a week or two ago, I saw it on that. Looks like I didn't down load it myself. Can't find the thread now. I searched play store and only found one Pokemon related speed app, but it had very bad reviews.
These got better reviews, and at least one of them says it does overlays on top of other apps. Ulysse Speedometer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binarytoys.speedometer
Speed overlay https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.zuim.speedoverlay&hl=nl
I just downloaded both, but have not have a chance to try them yet
No sources sorry, I asked a Subaru Rep if the speedo was off like in all the other cars and he said yes. Cars will always be a % off (like 5%). Toyota from memory are pretty accurate (like 2%) companies like GM and Hyandai in my experience have been dead on.
What you can is download a speedo app on your phone like this one for android that will have a gps read out of your speed.
If you are in a Kilometer's just go up to 100kmh on you car, see how many KMH it is out and thats you % (100kmh on speedo, 95kmh on gps. 100-95 = 5%)
If you are in a MPH country drive up to 50 mph and see how much your speedo is out (50mph on speedo, 45mph on gps. which means 100mph on speedo would be 90mph on gps. 100-90 = 10% off)
These LED lights and this App.

This one has the functionality I am looking for, however as stated above, the permissions list is way too long, and I would like to see one that only required Location permissions.
Ulysse Speedometer for Android looks and works good.
ulysse is pretty good on android
If you have and android phone, try using Ulysse Speedometer to test if there is a difference.
It's a GPS-based speedometer app.Like this one.
This till you get it fixed the right way.
Ulysses Speedometer has an overlay feature you can enable for certain apps. I use it when I'm navigating with Maps.
