Dear 3Dmodeling Redditors, I'm a senior 3D artist working at Ubisoft Toronto and I would like to share my free and compact modeling & texturing tutorial with you. I'll show you my way of modeling a "first person" grenade with 3Ds Max and texturing it in Substance Painter. I had a lot of fun working on it and hope that I can show you a few new things through it. :)
This is what we are going to build: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mk2-hardsurface-tutorial-baking-texturing
You can get the Scene files and optionally download the 1080p videos on my gumroad page https://gumroad.com/timb
I hope you like it and look forward to hear your feedback. My next tutorial is almost done and will cover the whole way of creating an AKM assault rifle from scratch.
Cheers!, Tim
I see all the coments about his genitals, I find that funny. That was kind of a point, it takes all the attention! Come on guys! Give him a chance, read the description on behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/27343473/Chocolate-Bunny
Entirely made by me to allow anyone to generate a good looking world using Blender 2.8. I work on this from time to time to add more features and further optimization (It is heavily optimized already)
You can obtain the shader for free at: https://gumroad.com/l/terramux
I originally made this to help friends who make Warhammer 40k fan-lore to easily create artworks of their custom planets.
See, here's the thing. You use the terms "model" and "ZBrush" in the same sentence, not understanding that ZBrush doesn't do modelling. It does sculpting, and until you know what the difference is, ZBrush isn't likely to be of much use to you.
My advice would be to start with an actual modelling package (3ds Max, Maya, Blender if you want open source, there are millions) and until you have a basic understanding of 3dcg and how it works (topology, subdivision, deformation, rigging, etc), stay away from ZBrush. The reason I say this is that ZBrush will heavily corrupt your understanding of 3dcg, and leave you having to re-learn everything when you actually want to do anything with your models. A good rule of thumb is don't even open ZBrush until you can build your own base mesh.
If all you want to do is sculpt a really high resolution mesh for a render or two, DynaMesh will suffice to serve that goal. But any retopology that DynaMesh produces will be absolutely horrible for animation due to the complete lack of edge flow or anything resembling good topology.
All that said, if you're really determined to start with ZBrush, Pixologic has it's very own ZClassroom filled with all the tutorials you could possibly want.
A good starter might be Sculptris, which is actually a free program made by the same people that make Zbrush. It's very bare bones but quite pleasant to play around in. (and if you're a digital artist your skills flow over into it quite nicely.
As for 3D modeling, I believe Blender is one of the good free options, - It's the only one I've had any experience with myself in any case. It's quite versatile, but can be a little obtuse - but there is no end of tutorials available online.
Thank you all for the criticism, support, and inspiration. Reddit's community has consistently been the best source of feedback and interaction online.
My website if you want to see any new projects before they get posted here.
If money is a concern Blender might be a good choice. It's a very powerful open source software that doesn't have high system requirements and is available for windows, ios and linux. With the cycles render engine you can create photorealistic scenes (however it is likely going to take some practise) and there are lots of helpful recources out there (tutorials, textures, addons, hdris etc.).
3DCoat is good for handpainted textures (and UVing). It also has its own procedural materials, called smart materials. You can find examples here https://gumroad.com/michaelgdrs . But I find that Substance became a standard in the industry lately, so that is why I use it more than 3DCoat.
If you're going to use booleans, I'd suggest giving DcBoolManager a try. You can get it for free (but if you use it frequently you should spare a few bucks). It makes booleans a lot more reliable and makes them non-destructible so you can fiddle around as much as you need before actually applying anything and cleaning up your topology. I find it useful either way!
I you wanna jump right in to learning the basics while looking for more advanced courses and schools.
You can download blender for free (https://www.blender.org) and for $10-20 you can grab this udemy online course (https://www.udemy.com/blendertutorial/).
I'm curious as to what others have to say, as I am also interested furthering my 3d modeling.
Don't start it up and stare at a blank canvas, have something in mind that you want to model first.
For specifics, youtube videos and pixologic's classroom will teach you the ins and outs of everything you'll need. http://www.pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/
I think there is enough in the scene. Try grouping objects more rather than arranging them neatly. I find it looks a lot better if items are grouped off centre i.e. thirds fifths and even sevenths. Dont be afraid to have empty space.
Grab more than one photo for reference at various different angles. The nose is off and the eyes and the general proportions of the face. The bottom lip needs to be thicker and the muscles of the face need to be worked in to the flesh more. But like I said more photo reference will help from diff angels. Do the big shapes first then work in the finer details later. You can use spotlight later for the wrinkles and face textures. Hope it helps. Also have a face anatomy reference as well. Its fun too sculpt so enjoy it. You can use a free software called light shot to capture your reference https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html

Hmm, well, if you're starting mostly from scratch (no experience in either program), I would say 3ds Max.
BUT...
At the same time, you should give Blender. A free program that is very capable. It's possible to go from one to the other, but I've found that I've used Blender long enough that I can't effectively use Max anymore. Plus, with a student version of any Autodesk software means you can't really sell or profit from anything you make using it, unless you buy a full license (about $3,500, give or take some). Blender on the other hand is completely free, so no worries about that...
When working on personal projects, I get the same feeling and most times you just abandon the project for some time before re-taking it and if possible finishing it.
When working on freelance projects, since there's a tight schedule to follow and deliver, I never get this feeling since I'm always working towards the next goal.
I'd suggest you treat your personal projects as if they were a professional project you must deliver with a specified timeframe. Maybe you can try using Trello to organize yourself and help you with establishing goals.
Dont know about other softwares but in blender displacing with a cloud texture and decimating.
Also there are generative plugins good for this kind of things specialy if you want more complex shapes like ByGen the efect is sligtly diferent but you can probably change some modifiers ,it basicly puts the modifiers you would need automaticly and gives you some textures.
Yes ,it might not be for the softwares you mentioned but blender is very good for non destructive and generative things so heres a link to ByGen: https://gumroad.com/l/BY-GEN
I think if you download a ferrari from a site, it wont necessarily be ready for game dev. There is a difference between a model, and model optimized for game development.
Let's say you got that taken care of, you have downloaded a ferrari, it's optimized for game dev, and you are afraid you cant use it because of licensing. If the point isnt for the car to be a ferrari, take off all the logos, and make some changes to it. I don't know for sure if that's the right answer, and it may be on the line of unethical, but that's up to you.
As for paying the artist, you're right on the license thought. Not all creative commons are created equal either. You can check out this article and many others for quick reference.
I think it doesnt hurt to reach out like you did at the end there and see if anyone is willing to donate some models. If I had some models lying around from a previous project I'd hand'em over probably. Good luck!
Thanks .
I mean, mostly its just practice. The technical stuff and software stuff going on here are super basic and take like a day or a couple days to figure out, everything else is just practicing with zbrush and making the models believable.
So my suggestion would be to gumroad some of Grassetti's stuff, and watch his anatomy videos mostly.
I don't mean to be pernickety, but this is not normal mapping. Normal maps use x, y and z coordinates that are manipulated through RGB values respectively. (Primarily used in games)
Bump maps (as you named them on imgur) are grayscale. The normals are affected depending on the values: black '0' (flat) - white '255' (raised). As you demonstrated, the raised area is dependent on how close the values (0-255) are.
You could also blur the lines to achieve a subtle slope. Something like this. Try adding some scratches and cracks to your tiles with this method.
Finally, if you add some lighting to your scene you'll really see the bump map come into play.
Goodluck!
Look into 3 point lighting setups and do that. Currently I'm conflicted where to look. What would seem the right place (her face) is rather dark, while the back of her has a really bright highlight. To use my friends work as an example, here. We want to see things, don't keep it in the dark.
Composition, shift her over to the right of the picture a little, so she has some room to look into.
Skin, but that has been mentioned.
It's more of an artistic choice, but I would inject some colour in the background, either complimenting or offsettng the dominant colour which is her skin. Have a play around with this tool. It's set to her current skin tone
Blender is amazing , has decent sculpting capabilities, has a thriving community with massive support & tutorials, is always improving & best of all is totally free for commercial use (Link: https://www.blender.org/ ). Also, you may wish to check out the trial period for Zbrush. It's the pinnacle of digital sculpting & at under $1,000, is worth every penny ( http://store.pixologic.com/ )
Blender has a great online resource to help out! Check out the tutorials page
The beginner's guide is a great way to get some exposure and teach yourself the basics. Hope to see you share some of your work soon!
dont bother most ive seen are pretty crappy/gimmicky you're better off getting some graph paper and oldschool design models or grab a decent sketch app like autodesk sketchbook for android and concept design to your hearts content.
if those arent enough you could go full on paper crafting 3d model designs or if you have some, build them in sculpting clay
I have seen this guys tutorial mentioned for blender and they look Pixar like. I haven't done them myself so I have no idea about the quality of the tutorial.
https://gumroad.com/l/ZaLQp - Sculpting

Rendered in Eevee.
My work with the Hair Tool Addon is a bit on the messy side but I am rather happy with the results considering it's my first attempt with the tool.
Link here for the addon, if anyone wants a look

Thanks, I’m actually using, dome light with hdri, 2 lights on each side and one big light in the back to give me a rim light all around. I did this shot for a marvelous course I just finished recording https://gumroad.com/l/marv
Scupltris is nice, and free. It's basically a stripped down version of Zbrush but still pretty impressive.
Blender is another free program, and you can get sculpting addons for it, but I've not given it a go yet so no idea how easy/natural it is to use.
In general I find Blender has a higher learning curve to it whereas Sculptris is pretty much plug-and-play, but that's primarily because Blender as a tool is much bigger and can so much more than just sculpting/modelling.
The best free software for 3d modeling would be probably blender
There is an excellent course available on the official blender youtube channel which will get you started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF1qEhBSfq4&list=PLa1F2ddGya_-UvuAqHAksYnB0qL9yWDO6
Also there are tons of other good tutorials on youtube, so after you feel comfortable with the basics just search for blender 2.8 tutorials and pick whatever fits your needs.
That being said, there are a lot of other programs out there which cater to specific modeling tasks/needs (for example ZBrush for sculpting) but blender should be great as a starting point.
I worked for Nickelodeon for nearly 10 years as one of the cg supervisors.
Base model in Maya, or just do it all in zbrush. Even the cloth. This is a silhouette character and you should be able to model this exaggerated cloth easily.
Generally I bring in the reference image and use that as proportion guides.
Look at other wireframes for characters to mimic edge loop flow.
Model exactly what you see, not what you think you see.
If you ever want a model critique feel free to DM me. If you want lessons, dm for rates.
same story here man cant get into cg peers
but you can check this out https://rutracker.org/forum/index.php
website is a lot like cg peers it helped me a lot
well, i could suggest a couple of sites that have helped me tremendously.. http://www.digitaltutors.com/ has all kinds of tutorials, i have watched most of my lectures here. https://gumroad.com/shaneolson Sculpting wise this guy has helped me alot and his introduction to zbrush is a godsent! :)
Mari is amazing: http://www.thefoundry.co.uk/products/mari/?gclid=CNmLkI6W-8QCFdgPgQodn2YAHw
It handles unbelievable amounts of geometry and data. It was created mostly for Avatar and is used in film and TV all the time. It's used in games too especially with the launch of Mari Indie (which takes it from a $2000 price tag to $100 I think with only a few limitations). Mari Indie is geared towards gaming.
There's also Substance Painter which is great too. I personally prefer Mari but Substance is fantastic too and perfect for games.
Wings 3D [free] or Silo [$109] for modeling.
Lightwave 3D [$795 for a crossgrade if you have another vendor's licence] for a full modeling and animation suite.
A simple method for getting a good base for texturing basic low poly non-organic models without requiring ZBrush to sculpt a high poly, is to make a copy of the object and model in a few additional details (for timber, maybe some splits/cracks, knot holes, worn/rounded edges, bolts/screws, etc.) then use that with whatever your app's version of subdivision surfaces are (subD, TurboSmooth, HyperNURBs, etc.) to create a high poly version. Export the original and high poly models as OBJs, import them into xNormal and bake out an Ambient Occlusion map. You can then take the AO and overlay it in Photoshop to give some more depth to your textures. You can also bake out other maps like tangent and object space normals, cavity maps, etc.
xNormal and MapZoneEditor. Both free and powerful, from what I've read.
I'm a newbie and don't have experience with either of them, but intend to.
CrazyBump is probably the most popular one, but it doesn't come free.
not sure what this is supposed to be or what the intent is
the most impressive parts about this are the megascans: (https://quixel.com/megascans/home?category=3D%20asset&category=antique)
the impressive bits of the scene should come from the artist, not the assets they downloaded. i mean, it's great for gaining internet points... not so much if you want to be a good artist
Voxel art is a lot of fun, and seems to be getting more popular especially for mobile games. Magicka Voxel is a great voxel modelling program, it's free, really lightweight, and constantly being updated.
I don't really have a blog, per se, but I do have an Art Station profile that I update from time to time. You're welcome to check me out there, though it's a wee bit outdated right this minute. But I'm working on fixing that!
ZBrush is a great tool for organic modelling and high poly counts. I find that there's always a general process to follow:
Reference- find reference images, use spotlight or imageplane to display them in ZBrush Base Mesh - use zspheres or a maya import for the base model Detail - sculpt detail at high sdiv levels Texturing - polypaint or project textures using spotlight UV Maps - get uv coordinates made using UV Master Exporting - export the model as an obj for any 3d program or ma for maya preserving the texture maps
digital tutors, lynda.com, and the pixologic zclassroom as Ponkers mentions are also good resources to learn, as well as the zbrush documentation site at: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Main_Page
Blender is free, and open source, and there are many resources and tutorials about using it.
I would recommend BornCG's intro series
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLda3VoSoc_TR7X7wfblBGiRz-bvhKpGkS
Creality Ender 3 is what I got. Works great with Ultimaker Cura software. PLA and PLA+ are both compatible.
Hello there!

Hey MasterChief, we strongly recommend blender in your situation and If you feel the need to create an Augmented Reality version of your models you can always rely on Arindu to do so for free. have a great journey.
The style is nice. As to the anatomy is OK at best. The stylization hides most of the errors but someone who knows anatomy knows it's off. And not due to style. We can tell you don't know it.
If you're serious about learning anatomy, YouTube videos are not going to be that good past the rough basics. To really learn anatomy I highly recommend "Anatomy for 3D Artists: The Essential Guide for CG Professionals". If you decide you want to know more, I'd consider buying Frank Netter's "Atlas of Human Anatomy". It's an illustrated medical text full of paintings and is awesome for really learning the underpinings of anatomy. There's nothing like it. You can get away with an older edition of Netter.

As always, appreciate your feedback!
Np, these are just my art opinions. The artist is always free to agree or disagree.
It's hard to say whether you can find work just by looking at a single piece. Going off this one alone, you could find some work, but probably not at the level you'd want to be right now. I don't know your situation, but if you can dedicate more time to learning lighting, materials and textures, and bumping up your UV knowledge it would pay off a lot. A great place to start would be by responding to the feedback people have posted here.
I know hearing "you need more education" can feel like a demotivating answer, but you've already learned quite a bit. You just need to spend a bit of time focusing on certain aspects of 3D and this usually doesn't take as long as learning 3D from the ground up. Months instead of years.
Also, a lot of great online resources exist for those put together by industry pros. A lot of these are paid, but many are free too. Gumroad (search wisely, like "3d modeling") and Cubebrush have a ton of great resources for learning from people who are right now doing the work you want to do.
I have jobs to offer but unfortunately, I wasn't able to post my offer because I have a French Credit card. Too bad !

Should be sitting around "reccomended" spec on the laptop. Also, ngl Alienware is overpriced and laptops aren't typically powerful. If you're buying new I would reconsider personally, but if it's a good deal then roll with it.
I'm guessing you'd prefer something free and quick to set up and get to work so Blender would be my suggestion. If this is all you intend to use it for, I'd suggest using the portable version so it can be removed without hassle afterwards.
I don't know what file format the scan comes in but probably using File->Import would probably suffice for getting the mesh inside the program.
Click on the object and make sure it's selected with an orange outline then switch to the culpting workspace from the top and you'll have a set of sculpting brushes located to the left and settings to the right. You'll probably want to use the Inflate brush and then configure the Direction setting to deflate. After that simply click and drag on the are you want to reduce.
Free with sculpting functionality? Blender
That said, it almost sounds like you're after displacement mapping. You don't need to manually sculpt detail if you have textures. You can extract detail from them and use it to deform the mesh. Look into Blender's displace modifier.
Hmm, your best bet is to try and download and install blender: https://www.blender.org/
It's a free modeling software and afaik requires less resources than the autodesk products like Maya. But honestly, I think 2GB RAM will not be enough. The minimum requirements are like 4GB RAM I think. So yeah, if you want to do any meaningful 3d modeling, I'd recommend getting more RAM.
about forgot about it, mat files dont work so i just used a white diffuse, if u can make a PBR/diffuse png i can change it, later for Halloween ill add some ghost sounds and make it fly around your head or something.

Hi! Hope to get some good advice or motivation from here, I'm thinking about starting a Patreon, I only have a Cults3D profile where I sell my 3D models, can I start a Patreon page without followers or "Patrons"? I was thinking of to give some of the models I sell in Cults3D to my Patrons as a "welcome pack", is this a good way to start? some advice?
Here you can check my other models inmy Cults3D profile: Cults3D Profile

I watched this tutorial and then messed around with it a bit. You can download it here for free and install it as an add-on in blender. I'm not that experienced in it yet but it seems to be way better and rendering glass and especially caustics than cycles.
i would recommend a solid modeling program and a good sculpting program
for modeling, blender is an easy answer. it's free
for sculpting, you can also do this in blender. sculpting in blender is good. but i would also consider zbrush which is much better with sculpting than anything else available. it is not free, but comes in a few different flavors for different budgets
dunno what to say about the life stuff; everyone finds their own road and i wouldn't presume to tell you how to live your life
what i can say is that 3d especially at a higher level is highly specialized. people are animators, or modelers, or texture artists, or riggers, etc so its important to try different things and find out what you enjoy doing in 3d specifically
to practice this stuff you need a computer that can run blender at least at minimum specs. whether that means you buy, beg, borrow, or steal parts is up to you. once you have that solved, you're unblocked to make some blender content and start learning and practicing
it's also possible that there are careers adjacent to art you might enjoy if you don't actually want to make any art
Do you have a computer? Download blender. And start watching this tutorial. Don't expect to instantly create a masterpiece. It's gonna take a while until you're good at 3D. Good luck!
G'day, I haven't posted about this before but thanks anyway, I think my dad will love it. I changed the mega link above so now you should be able to download it. (The file type was stl by the way.)
I exported the file in 3DS max to obj and the following settings came up. I left it as is, if any need to be changed just tell me.
Here's the mega link to the obj file, thanks for the help mate, I really appreciate it.

Holy crap this looks awesome! I'm just now starting out as a modeler, and this semester has been my first real formal education in the form of a Modeling and Texturing 1 class, but I would be honored to help! Even if it's just small stuff.
I just started setting up my portfolio yesterday, so pardon if it's not too impressive:
https://www.behance.net/tylaread
We've just recently learned how to create the different maps for texturing, and I'll be uploading that project, (a rusty padlock), soon after I get some good renders of it.
Let me know if I can help! I've been a Halo fan for years and was already planning on making some models from it!
P.S. I'll also accept any critiques on my current portfolio.
Thanks!

And yea, I realize that might be counterproductive in the end, postponing Zbrush. I guess I was always led to believe that Zbrush was a 'big kid' tool for people with experience in modeling. I thought about looking into this Gumroad package for guidance to work on over the summer, but still - not sure if I'm at that level yet.
If you like artistic stuff try using 3D to make art. Start how i started, download some free models and render them in style. Once you are into it, then next step would be to try modify the models bit by bit. This will help you a lot rather than if you start from scratch. Once you're fairly comfortable modding downloaded stuff now you're pretty much into it and starting from scratch wont seem boring. And if you're bored watch arrimus 3D video on youtube he uses max but his tutorial applies to everything.
And what I mean by artistic stuff is play with shadows. My artstation will has some work that has also been placed into art gallery http://www.artstation.com/revoconner
Thanks for the support - you'll get the hang of it, it's all about lighting. Haha Global Illumination helps a lot. followthestorm says there's plenty of tutorials out there teaching you how to do it but let me know if you can't find one. dribbble - https://dribbble.com/stobertg
The best place to start is the official tutorials either that is for scripting or just how the editor works. The provided projects are also pretty good to do if you want to know your way around but it requires scripting, given that you posted on this subreddit my guess is that you want to learn more about the graphics part, they have some pretty good videos about the standar shader and some rudimentary info on PBS but you'll be better off searching more info about physically based shading by your own, Marmoset's blog has a pretty good post and of course Allegorithimic has a PBR guide on their site

I am getting used to NDo/DDo for texturing, the material presets are great for quick realistic results. I didn't really take advantage of the AO/ procedural weathering, but I plan to.
Good day, Redditors!

That's funny. I'm learning from SelfCAD university https://www.selfcad.com/blog/top-8-options-for-designing-3d-objects-in-3d-modeling-software
I am also a total newbie to 3D modeling and am learning it for 3D printing too.
If you already have two models and you want to combine them Mesh Mixer may be the simplest tool for the job. I've been playing with it to alter stl files I get from Thingiverse. I was changing the shape of a headphone hook last night and it was a good learning experience.
I can't do it for you now, but I may try this evening as it would be a good experience for me.
I used Fusion 360 and found a model picture online for reference and made each piece individually. You can see the other ones I made here - https://cults3d.com/en/users/K3DC/creations

This is a way of modeling that has existed for ages. It's frequently called bump map, bump mapping.
I don't know which software you are currently using, if any, google "my software" and "bump mapping" maybe it's a feature, somewhere in the program.
Or check this list of bump map generators: https://www.slant.co/topics/4757/~programs-for-making-height-maps-normal-maps-and-or-other-maps
Some maybe more oriented toward making a texture, rather than modeling the object, if you see what I mean. But download them, tweak them, you'll manage to do something. It's a very basic process. Usually convert image to black and white and proper resolution, select it with the bump mapping software, input height, click go and that's it. It's that simple.
Edit: actually a bump map create a fake height, for texturing purposes, what you are looking for is somewhat different, it's a height map.
Check Terragen to see if it does the trick for you. Or google "heightmap in photoshop", it's also possible.
All of Tim's weapons are low poly. Ranging from 15k (M16 A4) to 40k (M16A4). He mentioned some time ago that he is in the works of making a weapon tutorial. You'll find it here when it's done: https://gumroad.com/timb Hopefully it will be of some use to you!
I absolutely agree but for beginner it is not bad,
We are developers of ArtisGL 3D Publisher and ArtisGL 3D viewer and any your comment, feedback and suggestion is really very important for us.
What about this one?
You can promote your 3D models at https://artisgl.com Also you can use ArtisGL 3D Publisher from Windows strore https://www.microsoft.com/en-am/store/p/artisgl-3d-publisher/9mz5g32q9zgw?rtc=1 and publish models on your own website
Before plunking down that amount of cash for Zbrush you could get an idea of that type of tool is for you with this vastly simplified but free browser based one here have fun....https://stephaneginier.com/sculptgl/
Zbrush is an awesome piece of software but a very steep learning curve. If you are not bothered about building the mesh from scratch yourself you could download Daz Studio (free) from Daz3d.com, it comes with generic male and female figures which would be a big time saver if you morph and texture them to look like your family members.
The one I have used in the past and think works really well is https://www.agisoft.com/
more recently I have seen people talk about Autodesk® ReCap™ https://www.autodesk.com/solutions/photogrammetry-software
He means physically based rendering. Here is an explanation by allegorithmic https://www.substance3d.com/pbr-guide
I think he is right, while you're model and texture is great and looks totally correct, it feels a bit artificial if you observe it closer.
I don't know what purpose this is for but you could try Mixamo's Fuse now that it's free on Steam since Adobe bought the company.
Alternatively I know a couple of people who use http://terawell.net/terawell/.
"Design Doll is a software program that can freely manipulate human body models in 3D space."
i don't think anything is better than substance painter right now in terms of tools, but there are cheaper options if finances are a major concern:
armorpaint is free if you compile it yourself; there are videos of how to do that on youtube
quixel mixer is also free
armorpaint is free if you compile it yourself; there are videos of how to do that on youtube
quixel mixer is free too i believe as long as you have an epic account (i can't test this myself since i have an active paid subscription)
the megascans contrast sharply with the models you've made yourself. when you don't take your own modeling to as high a level of quality as what you've brought in from elsewhere, it hurts your scene
it's a good idea to do some more Classical architecture studies. this library of Celsus at Ephesus is a great example to try to recreate as much as you can. maybe try another piece of existing architecture but try to recreate it instead of being inspired by it so you can build with greater accuracy. much has been written on the subject so there are tons of resources on Classical architecture and construction to draw from
thanks for sharing and good luck
not sure what this is supposed to be or what the intent is
the most impressive parts about this are the megascans: (https://quixel.com/megascans/home?category=3D%20asset&category=antique)
the impressive bits of the scene should come from the artist, not the assets they downloaded. i mean, it's great for gaining internet points... not so much if you want to be a good artist
