I used these coins. I’ve never used stickers though.
gloss is just a coating on the paper and will have no bearing on the sticker. if you think about the cards, those are in a plastic sandwich.

while i haven't specifically tried sandwiching my nfc stickers, the nfc can be read through the card stock. i use these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B085ZT649N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry man. Couldn't find the link. Before and didnt want to just say nothing.
Well you have to make sure your phone supports Bluetooth HID because if it doesn't you won't be able to use Joy Con droid anyway. Click here to download this app to check if your phone supports it.
This, is also me at the moment.
However! I just found this on Amazon UK: Efco Punch L Circle 1-1/8 Inch 28 mm, Pink, 20 x 10 x 4 cm
I use this one from Fiskars, which let's you see exactly where you're punching.
I use these: THONSEN 25pcs NTAG215 NFC Cards Work with TagMo and Amiibo for All NFC-Enabled Smartphones and Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074M9J5L3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_OB1Z2wnnE3Ved
I’ve used half so far and have yet to have an error with Amiiboss.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G7GP1XW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
these with a inket printer is what i use :)
These are the ones I bought. Depending on the size of your stickers though you might want a different size (these are 25mm), a search for "coin cases" on Amazon will get you all sorts of different sizes.
I found the blank sticker sheets on Amazon and printed at home! The brand I ordered from gave me directions on how to download the template on Microsoft word from their website. Then I was able to just drag the photo files directly into the template! It was really easy!
Something like this
www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z2PNPKJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_pRC9FbHBJZQWB
I use these and none have failed on me yet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZZTT6T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They're slightly smaller than my coins as well at 25mm
Edit: I don't even use it as a sticker, I just sandwich it inside and it fits snug and looks professional:
Thanks for the info!
So I ordered these... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C2RDZ8L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_hXs1Fb8CYVCVX
And also grabbed these... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00007E7D3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_TXs1Fb9MFZYCQ
Figured they would be less work than the NFC stickers, but we’ll see how it goes. I like the idea of the poker chips tho!
These are the ones i buy and they work well and are the correct ones, though not sure if available to EU 😕ntag215
Not sure what you country is, but I got this board off Amazon, it has all the hardware you need except for the NTAG215.
From what I could find, the closest one would be Template 5395 for Adhesive Name Badges. 2-1/3" x 3-3/8", so you would need to cut it a little but not much!
Nah- got them off of amazon. Search 30mm coin case or coin collector
I'm using an iPhone 7 and have written 2 tags successfully. I'll say I haven't tried writing one with iOS 14 yet, but I haven't had problems writing tags in the past. I usually place the tag under or on top of the phone, and the 2 times I tried, they were both successful. I'm using the credit card sized tags if that makes a difference? Here's a link to the cards I'm using. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B087P24Q8K/
I hope this helps!?
Not much help for you, but I just made a few tags a couple days ago (bought NFC Stickers on Amazon) and am not having any issues on the switch lite. Have the silver pokemon version.
While not saying it is from tagmo itself those are 2 of the results that show up when searching it at least for me, and iirc something like n2 also was an amiibo "clone" app.
(Also the one from the first link is a free version, there is a paid version for it)
Edit: u/Bombastisch apparently I am stupid and I can't click the reply button
Is this the kind of Powersave you mean?. £70 is pretty steep, so I'd rather be absolutely certain this'll work with Switch.
My phone doesn't have NFC support so I can't use regular tags.
Just making sure before i get these, are these the right ones?
I'd imagine the holy grail of NFC emulation would be phone based (since we all seem to have one or two of them lying around nowadays).
I've found this free app for android that seems to do just that (though I have not tested it myself).
There's another that I saw that was a $5 paid app but requires root. Far better reviews as well (though check the phone requirements in the "About" tab). If you have an older android device lying around, you could just turn that into essentially the device that you lost, but with the added benefit of also being an android device.
I have not used either of these apps so buyer beware.
I've been on the hunt for an android NFC tag emulator for a while but sort of gave up the chase (because life gets in the way, ya know?). If a device can read and write NFC tags, I'd imagine it would be able to emulate tags as well. I've always winced every time I've had to write a tag and make it permanent. And buying purpose built hardware for it, while super neat, always sort of turned me off of the whole procedure.
Anyways, best of luck with your search. Let me know if either of those programs work if you end up trying them.
The flask looks cool and would probably be nicer but tags really aren't that bad. They're pretty cheap (at least here in the US) and they work well enough.

Having used tags and cards, I prefer the tags. I always thought I'd label the cards but I never got around to it so they ended up just being tags that took up more space. For reference, these have been my favorite so far.
i got it from the comic book store in my area but this is the similar to it [book] but you can use anything that’s for trading cards (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L34MVNR/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_V2K7BDBM3VW2NFKHTR0K)
These are the ones I personally used, and from my experience work flawlessly with TagMo in my samsung phone. Being $0.20 usd each, I found them to be the best bang for your buck deal
Geenfc D25 mm Ntag215 PVC Coin... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GJQXVMF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You can buy the coins with coin cases of amazon
They work great not had any problems👍
i bought these these on amazon.de (useful for europe), i can confirm they work with amiibo, although i had to try 10-15 times to write each tag, and try up to 5 times to get each tag to read on my Switch.
i can also confirm the iOS app Tagmiibo works fine on my iPhone 12. it's easy to use, and is free for 5 tags written (8,99€ IAP for unlimited).
and you can use it to scan tags, too as opposed to Placiibo. it also links to amiibo.life
I mean the cheap option is to buy a glue stick instead of sticker paper and wasting time redesigning.
As for a punch you could try a 1 5/16 inch cutter? Alternatively a thicker paper might help it slide less, but idk if that would affect readability...
Hi,
I got mine from here:
I’m happy with the price (was 1,50$/10pcs - 6months ago) and quality. ;)
https://www.amazon.com/YARONGTECH-MIFARE-Classic-Smart-13-56MHZ/dp/B01LYBKM0U
their not ntag215 cards, you absolutely wasted your money. You could have got 100 ntag215 cards off of amazon for like $40.
I used these stickers (you can select how many too) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GZGWNX9/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4NFXV0GAXXE5SD0EQ6R6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And this 1 inch token case (100 ct) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CGPFHWB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_JEA5P695V8ZXGPV7D70K?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
these are the specific tags i used, looks like they're about 0.1 mm thick and i just looked at the description and it says they're made of paper with a laminated finish, so i'm guessing the paper makes them not oven safe?

Oh I forgot to mention, I also used these They fit the cards perfectly and protect them from any glue or stickiness.
This is the video I used to learn how to make the "booster" packs. He has a template under the description, it didn't work for me because I didn't have the program, so I had to recreate everything. I used the Smash logo and printed it on an Avery sticker that I applied after I was done with the pack.
Instead of a glue stick, I used this, I think it made the project less messy and the edges crisper. I was unable to find metallic paper so I just picked out some fun-looking ones from my local craft store. Learn from me shinny foil-like paper will not work with an inkjet printer :( and you want the paper to be thin so no cardstock! It was pretty easy once I started going, the purple crimper tool is 100% necessary to get the look right.
When I made cards I used glossy sticker paper. When I made coins I used normal glossy paper as I could sandwich the tag between the cover/back art. I printed on a hp envy 4527, and one tip I have for that make & glossy surfaces is to change the print setting from generic glossy paper to hp branded glossy paper. The ink dries quicker with less smudging
These are the ones i got, looks like they went up slightly but still cheaper and more. I havent had any problems with any (yeah theyre white and not the cool black ones but theyre cheaper and theres more of them)
https://www.amazon.com/Rewritable-NTAG215-Programmable,504-Memory,Works-Applications/dp/B09337VHZC
Same item, but $4 cheaper.
I use these cards myself and I store them in plastic card boxes you would find anywhere for storing CCGs or sports cards. Boxes similar to these. They come in different counts depending on your needs.

I just used the artwork from Nintendo's website. I printed these out and laminated them. Not super high-quality or impressive, but it does the job
https://animal-crossing.com/amiibo/collections/series-1-4-amiibo-cards
It should be pretty obvious since those characters were just introduced in New Horizons, they wouldn't have any Amiibo cards yet. If or when they release a series 5 is up to Nintendo. Here's a link so you can double-check for any characters you are looking for (that aren't new): https://animal-crossing.com/amiibo/collections/series-1-4-amiibo-cards
https://animal-crossing.com/amiibo/collections/series-1-4-amiibo-cards/# you can get all the images for series 1-4 here. (These are what I used to make all of the amiibo cards) as far as a back for the cards google image search one not hard to find, hope this helped :P
>did anyone notice the expiry note on TestFlight for 84 days?
Builds remain active for 90 days after upload.
>Now if someone can just leak Raymond's bin.....
The tag is a glorified id number, so the bin won't do you any good until the game is updated. When the game is updated, someone will produce a bin.
If you do a lot of frontend, you might like netlfy for building/hosting. right now I'm playing with their automatic PR preview builds
>Though I do have one more suggestion, as for key_retail.bin, I think simply hosting a permanent copy on a place thatll never go down
Setting aside that the guy re-org'd the repo a bit, the github link to proxmark works really well
>just downloading it as a networking resource, and copying it to documents?
For me, that would cross the line of legal accountability. I was hesitant to even put a direct link in the reddit post.
I got these when they were on sale. It seems that they are no longer on sale unfortunately, but still not a bad price.
The first thing that caught my eye was some of the straight edges on the cuts. It looks like your images aren't large enough to utilize the entire usable space in the capsule and the things behind it are showing around the edges, so I would also enlarge them. I would recommend using something like a cricut or silhouette cutting machine, or a punch like this to get the cuts looking perfect and use up the entire area.
Maybe use EVA foam gaskets for support? I looked on amazon and some company give you the foam with the purchase of the capsules.
If your coins are quite thin you could also use nail striping tape: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01KM426KA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_A6X3P96HYYF5MXKVW3TP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's 1mm wide but I wanted 4-5mm so cutting the other tape was the only way I got that size
Get the coin NFC tags and some cases (cases are cheap). Then you can print out these https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qx8pq0ezs8nj1rm/AABz7Hexgs8hR2WxjBEB7NGha?dl=0 And paste them to the case to keep them organized nicely. There's more pictures you can find to print too I use these ones, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DXSQVYH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_VEKAV7SNXS3M7N43Q6WB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

That is my likely issue. It's our luck! :D
You can PM me an address or we can text back and forth. Whichever is convenient.
Link to the tags I have:
Thanks so much! After scoping out this subreddit, I decided to start with these PVC cards because it’s my first time making amiibo spoofs. You can write over the data as much as you want (unless you lock the tags) and I preferred the hard plastic over card stock.
These are the ones I got off of amazon and I’ve only made 20 but all of them worked perfectly.

Nice! My mom has that one and loves it!
Okay, two more questions:
1) Did you try or consider a 1" punch like this Fiskars? LINKAnd if so why didnt you go/like that route?
2) Running the numbers real quick, per quantity 100 it looks like going the coin NFC route is about 4 cents cheaper per unit than doing the sticker NFC with the poker chip. Is there a reason you didnt use the coin NFCs instead?

The stickers for right on them and if you really wanted you could put them in a coin holder for extra protection.
I didn't use stickers. I bought these NTAG-215 discs and printed out my design on regular computer paper, then layered it inside the coin case. Would've glued the designs to the discs but I wasn't thrilled with the quality from my printer so I decided against that for now.
Amazon, i’ve tried 6 so far
THONSEN 30pcs NTAG215 NFC... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MKWHYQK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I am based in the UK, so only have UK provider linked. This is the exact link on Amazon I used:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0725XF5DT
They are out of stock at the moment, but they are directly from ZipNFC who have their own webstore here:
This item at Amazon includes all the hardware needed to write Ntag215 Amiibo cards / stickers.
This comment has a lot of good info for getting up and running on the software side.
I'm not sure what you mean by "scan amiibo directly to the switch"? I think that's probably people talking about their official amiibo from nintendo and scanning that data to put online so people can put it on their switch. I'm not familiar with the phone you have but since its android ill assume you have the Play store so heres a direct link to Joycon Droid if that doesn't work, your best bets would probably be to make your own amiibo or buy some
There are both for Android. If you use JoyCon Droid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdapps.gamepad&hl=en_CA
You apparently can emulate a controller so you can directly emulate Amiibos. But to be honest, I never had any luck with it. I was using an S8 which requires some creativity to have the supported OS version.
You can also make cards and stickers using TagMo. I have had success with this.
Also, if you have hacked your Switch, you can also emulate Amiibos directly using Emuiibo. Also works well.
I think Xiaomi must enable it in an update for it to work. You can check if your phone supports it with the HID profile test app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdapps.bluetoothhidtester&hl=en_US
On Android, get the app NFC TagInfo by NXP. Open the app, make sure your NFC is enabled, and then scan the tag. On the IC Info tab you should see "IC type: NTAG215" if the tag is Amiibo compatible.
Only 700k?! :D
OMG.
So I've been chasing down the rabbit hole of how to do reads and track saves and everything... and FINALLY ended up in a good place. But holy crow...
I ended up adding SQLite3 into the mix, and now just have 2 tables, 1 for amiibos, and 1 for saves.
Of course, when I first did the work, the build started puking on me, because the build then took up like 1.1 meg and I only had about 1 meg available... so I was like 'oh what the hell am I going to do now?!'
Turns out... these things have partition tables. They split the available space between 'code space', SPIFF space, and 'OTA Update' space.
Since I'm using the SD for storage, I found the setting in platform.io to flip it to using a 'minimal spiff' partitioning (since I'm planning on using OTA updates), and I end up with about 1.5meg for code space, so I still have about 25% free.
I can rebuild the databases with about a constant 40% free memory.
My trial with the nRF52840 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MJ12XLG) has been (at least at the moment) a total bust. I tried for hours to get a build chain of some sort up and running for it, with zero luck, and it doesn't seem as though it's supported by PlatformIO even though they say it is.
For now, the Puck is seeming like a far more viable option. I got a properly build chain set up for it so I can treat it like real code.... let the good times roll :)
Awesome video!
One thing I've found is file names seem to get pretty wide, so going wide instead of tall may help.
Interesting point on the STL containers... I think I'm at the point where I need to spend a night or two focusing on data storage and shipment. I've finally figured out a set of structures that suit all of the needs... and have most of the core code in place to power them, but now I need to do a 'full data rebuild' and it's just not working any more, and if I had to guess, I'd say memory usage is the culprit.
The other option, of course, is to figure out how to get all of that code decoupled enough from arduino/m5stack specifics so that I can make a cli tool that can run on the computer to generate the db structures.
I'm pretty much in the camp that ArduinoJson is a bust for my needs. Tonight I'm set to look up struct serialization techniques/libs, as I believe I may have the intuition down on how to prevent things from being deallocated as i pass them around goes... but I dunno for sure :D
I got my puck.js yesterday, and my nRF52840 Micro Dev Kit shows up on Friday, so I suspect I will eventually be adding 'mode' options and basically defining a protocol for 'btle nfc target'.
Once I get the data structure stuff sorted, and can rebuild the databases again, I should just have a little more code to write for presenting save/powersave options when loading a card, and saving /only/ the save data in the 'custom saves' files (which should in theory side-step any of the corruption, provided the write-backs don't corrupt the amiibo data required to recognize which amiibo you used in the first place...).
This has been a trip, but it's getting CLOSE! :)
Thank you! They're collector coin containers, and I typically didn't need to glue them closed. The paper I used did a well enough job at keeping it closed already, but for a couple of them I did a dab of gorilla glue to be sure.
Edit: This is what I bought!
GreatestDeals (11x - 100x) NTAG215 NTAG 215 25mm NFC Stickers 100% Guaranteed to Work Perfectly with TagMo (Android) and Placiibo (iOS)! Multiple Sizes Available! (50 Stickers) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071ZZTT6T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UoVsFbZCA2C0V
So I bought an ACR122U NFC RFID, as stated above, and it's not working with Amiibomb. Amiibomb keeps saying "Any Arduino found on ports COM!" What's the problem here.
https://www.amazon.com/ACS-ACR122U-Contactless-Smart-Reader/dp/B01KEGQFYY
It may be with how you use TagMo? Maybe something went wrong with how you use it? It's really just turn on NFC, load data and Write Tag though, and then a confirmation notif appears.
I think you can read the cards with TagMo, so if you could read it then you know data's written.
I'm totally not sure about those cards you use though, for example I use these: https://www.amazon.com/NTAG215-Enabled-Phones-Compatible-TimesKey/dp/B075MDC7SV
So I'm pretty sure the chip is at the center. Sometimes I have positioning problems when scanning with the Switch even if it's small. But relatively none for my New 2DS XL.
What I'm not sure about those big rectangle cards is if the chip is at the center, or you could write with the NFC writer at any area of the card.
So I try to make my own amiibo and everytime I use it for ACNL, it just shows this, and idk why. I was curious if anyone could help me fix this so that it can read my fake amiibo. I also tried buying fake amiibo cards and it says the same thing (and majority of the reviews said that it worked for them, and not for me). I used my android device w/ tagmo app to make my own amiibo, and I use an original 3ds w/ a separate nfc reader (and the nfc reader does work, because I’m able to scan in authentic amiibo cards). My 3ds version is 11.13.0-45U. I don’t think it’s the version of the 3ds as I know someone who makes there own amiibo (with the same version 3ds as I) and it works for them (but they have a new 3ds xl, so maybe it’s the type of 3ds I have?). I bought my tags off of this link. And in case if anyone’s curious my 3ds has never been modded & it’s 8 + years old. Ty!
I originally bought the tags on eBay but the listing has been deleted. The cases I got on Amazon, but I was planning on purchasing more via AliExpress going forward because it seems to be cheaper overall. I got plastic coin tags that are 25mm across, roughly the size of a quarter. I had the artwork printed at Staples on linen paper for a total of $22.
Hey all, turns out it was the cards. I got a refund on amazon and sent back the unused ones. I bought NTAG stickers with really good reviews instead and they've been working great. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0727NYX3B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is interesting, does anyone else have any NTAG216 laying around theyre willing to try? I may buy some since prices are cheap right now as NTAG215 skyrocketed in price just to test this but even then most sellers on amazon and amiibo have in big bold letters "DOES NOT WORK WITH AMIIBO"
like this one https://www.amazon.com/NTAG216-Blank-White-Cards-Pack/dp/B00NJ6KZDO/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=NTag216&qid=1590710755&sr=8-3#customerReviews which is actually a pretty decent price for 25
Hey! Thanks for the link. I’m not the one who made the coins in this post but I have the same coin cases. I bought on amazon: Hicarer 25 mm Coin Holder Capsules Clear Round Plastic Coin Container Case for Coin Collection Supplies (200) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WL71TYD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TXAYEbDDAZ88V
These are the NFC tags that I bought off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N38MMTT/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_.pWUEbH4ZSP2K They're not currently available sp you're out of luck there but if I were you I would keep looking on Amazon and see if there were any reviews for products talking about Tagmo.
I ordered these capsules from Amazon, I had seen the brand mentioned in another post.
As far as compatibility, my assumption is yes considering encapsulating the coins appears to be popular on this subreddit. My order won’t be here in its entirety until a week or two from now, and once I complete my coins I’ll probably submit a post about my experience making them if that’s any help.
Thanks! I got these from amazon and glued the nfc sticker to the bottom, then the villager icon on top of the sticker. It all fits perfectly without any cutting :)
US based and have competitive prices; ships weekly on Wednesdays with < 5 day delivery. I use the NTAG215 Inkjet CR80 cards from them and like their quality. I also use non-Inkjet cards but those are a little pricier to work and print with.
~~These 25mm stickers also arrived in < 7 days domestic US as well.~~ N.B. listing is backordered, my regrets.
/u/sanicbumguy /u/Phlapjakz and anyone else trying to buy eBay tags.
They look fantastic, well done!

Do you know if something like this (amazon link to mini plastic poker chips) would fit between the two pieces of paper, making for a more ridged product so the paper isn't just set in there? Perhaps even using a glue stick or double sided tape on this chip so both sides are always facing the same direction.

Would like to hear your thoughts,
Thanks again for sharing!
I'm working on the same project as well! Still waiting on my coin cases, but I just received my NFC tags from amazon yesterday. Only took about 5 days to ship. Here's the link I used, looks like they're still in stock in the US through prime! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CKHH8R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Coin Case Link Used these coon cases. Saw a link on another post and was pleasantly surprised.
I don’t have any NFC tags yet. I put a cheap poker chip that fits as a placeholder but I’d attach the nfc sticker to it once it ever comes in.
I’ve been looking around eBay, Amazon and Wish for decent ntag215 stickers/circles and haven’t had much luck yet so I don’t have a good link to share for those unfortunately
Also have Amazon Prime but didn't find tags for prime.
Here's the one I bought. Bought on the 4th with other Prime-eligible items. Prime items came on the 7th, tags came yesterday on the 15th. I imagine it's a combo of covid-19 and AC hype, but I've had other packages delayed because of covid so I'm not too surprised. I'd just buy any listing sooner than later!
I used these and they all worked, ordered em bc they were the fastest shipping at the time but the shipping time went up a lot lol https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CLH7F8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you just search ntag215 on amazon you'll find plenty, and youll find plenty with reviews that will specifically say stuff about tagmo pretty often, ahha.
I'm no phoneologist but the app that people use, tagmo, is android-only, so feasibly you'd be able to install the apk if you have a jailbroken iphone/know what you're doing, i think?
I bought that coin case, along with a pack of twenty-five 30mm chips. These fit snugly inside the smaller side of the coin. For the images, I made a template similar to NB_Flower's (I had some issues with sizing with theirs, plus I needed to learn how to use Gimp anyway). I printed on card stock from Walmart (which my printer was not happy about) then used an x-acto knife and a cutting mat to cut them out/trim them to fit. All in all, I'm pretty happy with they way they turned out. I should tell you that if you go this route, with the 30mm discs, they fit VERY snugly, meaning nearly impossible to remove without breaking the case. I know this from experience!
this deck of 25 cards was $13 on amazon.
I stole the blank address labels from work so those were free and so were the sharpies. So $13 total I guess.
You should google "NFC Bank", and go to the first website that pops up, then click on "Amiibo" in the upper section of the site, and search for "complete".
Also, just so you know, it turns out those chakan coins are around 1.5" in diameter, or 38mm. Buying regular 30mm protectors won't fit. :-/ I just bought these 40mm ones.

I don’t believe that reader/writer has any supported amiibo software available. If you are going the PC route, you need to use this kit from amazon or source those components separately.
There is an amiibomb writeup with software links in the sub here if you search a little, which will help guide you thru assembly of the writer, installation of the software and a basic guide to reading and writing cards/tags.
