Moderna, 3400 baht, available around October to January
It says open enrollment until July 31 and worked for me a few days ago
Our condo uses Urbanice.
Payment status (reminders/confirmations, not processing actual payments), parcel delivery/pickup, and announcements are all we use it for though.
Thai Apartment is pretty good- in English- use this link as a portal as it gives you two drop down menus where you can specify what you want to pay, and what you're looking for length wise (daily, weekly, monthly).
http://www.thaiapartment.com/Result.asp
Airbnb obviously would suit you as well for looking for a short stay place- specify the dates, the price range etc. Pick somewhere for a few weeks in July as use that as a launch pad to go view more permanent apartments.
I don't think hiring someone to translate Thai will be necessary. You can do most of the legwork online so you've built a list of places to view in the areas you like- rent somewhere cheap for a month as a base and then get out there and take a look.
I see this building every day from saphan taksin. I assume it's this building you're talking about. Here is another shot from futher away.
I'd advise against going in purely because Thailand isn't exactly up to scratch with its health and safety. I'd hate to read something about "tourist dies falling 100 feet to their death" or something like that.
I am using Ivacy and its the same thing with Hulu at least, sometimes I can go a few hours before "Reseting" it other times It stops after 30 minutes. It does have a built in setup for "Streaming" that makes it pretty easy though.
Yes, you can take a train from Hualamphong station in central Bangkok. Wouldn't be too expensive to just take a taxi either. Probably about 2000 baht(60 dollars) or so. http://wikitravel.org/en/Hua_Hin
Now that PL and Champions league is over, I guess there'll not be much watching football for a while :D.
Meetup.com is a good shout but it really depends if they have ones for your interests. I go to one of the learn Thai one to get some Thai practice (even though I'm Thai - work that one out haha). Feel free to come if you want, there's a lot of expats and locals who attend.
Use TestMy.
I'm on the AIS 50mb/sec package. I get 50mb/sec within SE Asia irrespective of time of day; I get 26mb/sec from Los Angeles, which is to be expected due to TCP RTTs.
No throttling, AFAICT.
5G is really good along the BTS MRT routes generally.
Take a look at https://www.nperf.com/en/map/TH/-/19345.AIS-Mobile/signal/?ll=10.585021646686442&lg=112.00561523437501&zoom=6 if you are looking for a specific area.
I use Here maps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.here.app.maps it's very good and also has offline functionality, so you can download Thailand map for free. Worked very well on Ko Kood, when Google did not.
Download "Here"
It is Android, has offline maps, aaaannnnddd has all road signs and bts stations in English! Hope you see this soon. But also, you can pick up a cheap sim card at 7/11
Contact Thai tourist police via "Tourist Police i lert u" application, they work more efficiently and quickly and speak English.

Wish you all the best in the debate itself.
If you dont get any takers here, maybe try the BKK Public Speak Meetup Group (via Meetup.com or FB). Assumption U themselves maybe able to help get the word out (faculty/grad students). The Canadian school here is another resource that come to mind - but the dates involved may make things hard.
Buy "Milk tablets" from 7-Eleven. They're extremely unique to Thailand. They have the official government brand, and then a more playful looking one with a friendly cow, in both chocolate and regular. Do they have anything like this in India?
Here's an Amazon link for the government brand one: https://www.amazon.com/Good-Candy-Tablet-Children-Royal/dp/B00HXJ664U
But at 7-Eleven I think they're only 8-12 baht per package.
Not my experience either. This may not be the exact model OP was talking about but price is $789 +$130 shipping and import tax deposit. And I have mostly got at least some refund on the tax deposit for previous purchases: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-XPS-13-7390-Touchscreen/dp/B08DR2JC2K/ref=sr\_1\_3?crid=MH5QCPUOICXZ&keywords=Dell+XPS+13&qid=1653937244&sprefix=%2Caps%2C1871&sr=8-3
I have one from 1990 somewhere, but I doubt I would let it go.
Here is a link to a post on here with a couple pictures of it.

Here is one on amazon from just 10 years ago.

Spent the last week in BKK and fell in love with the views and the skyline. I read somewhere that, because it was so sprawling, it wasn't the best layout for cityscapes. I totally disagree! There's way more to photography, explore, and enjoy.

i usually go on meetup.com and look at bangkok hiking group. The organizer Bow is damn good and shes super sweet with hikes and everything. Also, a lot of national parks are 2-3 hour drive outside of Bkk so you can just rent a car and go yourself. Me personally I like to hike in groups over here.
This is true surprisingly MEETUP.COM has a lot of IT meetups and these ppl who have them are normally companies like Agoda, DTAC , AIS, etc. who are looking for potential western employees and a great way to network.
wongnai is a must, although not sure if they have an English version
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wongnai.android
its really popular with the Thais
My apologies,
Here is the correct form. You dont need a student id to fill this in.
He means we're using LINE messenger and there are private communities in the messenger. Some of the communities do underground businesses, selling drugs, organs, women etc. I recommend it if you want to meet the real criminal in Thailand, Thai police are the real criminal and even worse than criminals. The communities are very easy to be penetrated
I believe Explore Bangkok is a nice Android alternative (please mind that I don't have Android: I can't go past the Play store page :) )
This was another one. Depending on what your after they have apps for losing belly fat, or planking which is core strength, and daily workouts and stuff.

Just your passport and the completed TM47form.
Last time I used this Android app and they sent you the updated form which you printout and put in your passport. Worked very well and no more trips to immigration.
While that commenter is techinically correct, you may get some negligible amount of sugar like a gram, there's nothing wrong with gelatin, and if they have any preservatives at all (here's the label; I don't see any) it's of course also going to be some imperceptible amount. Chew away.
Food Panda has been unbelievably terrible for many months, don't do it. Many better options. Line man is working well for me... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.linecorp.linemanth&hl=en\
>I'm not exactly in the best area of the city to meet other people as well
I'm curious, which part of the city are you located? When I lived in Bangkok, my apartment was in the Bangkok Noi area. It was walking distance to my university and to all the famous tourist attractions like the Grand Palace and Khao San Road. There was also free buses which allowed me to go to Sukhumvit, China Town, and Chatuchak market for free
>Can't read or write it to save my life
In my opinion, if you want to learn Thai, you need to know the alphabet first. Knowing the alphabet will enable you to think and pronounce Thai more clearly. Thai romanization systems are not legitimate so a knowledge of the alphabet is a must
This book is a must if you want to have a basic grasp of Thai. It teaches you how to read and write the alphabet and it will enable you to learn some vocabularies and build basic sentences.
Download the MISO app. It's free and it lets you find healthy food places and fitness studios near you in Bangkok. The app literally shows you what's nearest to you and also categorised (gym/yoga/martial arts etc).

Hey Hansfredderik, you should download the free MISO app that lets you find healthy food places and fitness studios around you, in cities around the world. You'll be able to see what's healthy around in Khao San Road.

Thanks for mentioning my app! :)
I believe op needs something more powerful than just a transportation app, like Here maps and City Maps 2Go Offline Maps :)
