Change the city to whatever you want, set it as a bookmark and visit it once a day. When you find a city-pair you like, Kayak will only give you the earliest dates so go to google.com/flights, select the city pair and plug in your own dates
United's ORD-SDF flights are listed at about 1h 22m.
Of course /u/belfastbiker and the 80ish current upvoters aren't aware of that. Nor are they likely to come back to read this, and continue thinking it's a 3.5hr flight when/if they talk to others, further spreading misinformation.
Critical thinking, folks. Not everything on the internet is true.
You can then take a regional jet to many other cities in Europe for really cheap and have a super cheap trip to Europe. Paris to Rome was only like $25 round trip when I check last.
I was using kayak to check prices earlier this year. As long as your return flight is before June 1, prices are super cheap.
I've tested a few airports and they all seemed pretty cheap. Houston -> Paris was like $500 round trip. Ply around with it. :)
538 USD If you want to take the long way to London.... Nonstop is another 100
https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/United-States-US0/London-LON
according to kayak, you can get a ticket for $309 or so. It's into Standstead, but...
Now he's getting in serious trouble and likely to get banned by DHS/INS which will prove to be seriously inconvenient.
With his luck, INS will deport him to Canada.
So this appears to be possible using VBA. The following code launches Internet Explorer and then scours the html source code for all airports and assigns each one and its price (if any) to its own cell down columns A and B.
Sub ScrapeKayak()
Dim objShell As Object, Wnd As Object Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application")
ieopen = True For Each Wnd In objShell.Windows If Right(Wnd.Name, 17) = "Internet Explorer" Then Set ie = Wnd ieopen = False Exit For End If Next Wnd If ieopen Then Set ie = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
ie.Visible = True p = "https://www.kayak.com/explore/CHI" ie.navigate (p) Do DoEvents Loop Until ie.ReadyState = 4
x = 1 For Each divelement In ie.Document.getElementsbytagname("div") With divelement If .ClassName = "priceMarkerWrapper withPoint " Then y = InStr(.innertext, ")") If y > 0 Then Cells(x, 1) = Left(.innertext, y) z = InStr(.innertext, "$") If z > 0 Then Cells(x, 2) = Mid(.innertext, z, 99) End If x = x + 1 End If End If End With Next divelement
Set ie = Nothing End Sub
File looks like this. Can you take it from here ... ?
COME AT ME BRO!
I'll have you know I just got a great deal on a ticket to Connecticut on Kayak!

Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Dominican Republic don't even require tests.

But i guess they wont even allow you into the German airport by that time.
Most other countries allow entry with only a negative test
I'm assuming you have actual money to pay for goods and services?

OP edited his post to include a budget. $100 for Lolla weekend last minute? Not a fucking chance.
To be fair with you, and naturally I can promise this will be downvoted, Reddit is generally it's own alternate reality. It's a circle jerk one sided social community that silences the majority of opposing opinions.
I'm not saying it doesn't kill people, and death is bad. No questions. But if we cared quite that much, nobody would smoke cigarettes, or drink alcohol, or just..drive. For example. Fast food? Gone. Heart disease is major. I could go on, but you get it. When protests amass in tens of thousands, they're praised, at the very same time, you can't go to your family members funeral because social distancing.
Ok sorry for getting too far in to it.
Just keep your eye on https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions -- my new favorite page. I want to go back to Colombia ASAP, and know it plans to reopen all international flights on Aug. 31st. Whilst researching, I saw they were following Argentina so I'm assuming they plan the same (but i've never been to Argentina and it's not as high up on the list so didn't look any further).
I'd say, realistically, give it 2-3 solid months before you can relatively safely start hopping a handful of countries that interest you.
Oh my god I'm so sorry. Sorry for pointing out your half assed posting of the ticket purchase link. Here's another helpful link for you.
I'm in car sales, and that's as specific as I'd like to get in to on that.
Here are some boats for sale.. Note, they're less expensive than a fair bit of houses in expensive areas, such as Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, etc.
So, how do you plan when you buy or travel - cuz right now you just sound like a kid of parents who didn't teach you how to budget or spend wisely, with no real concept of how to best spend a dollar.
Check out the canceled flights to and from LAX and O'Hare to/from SFO tonight. https://www.kayak.com/San_Francisco-San-Francisco-Airport.SFO.ap.html
Isn't Sessions in CA today?
Also, could be nothing, but just weird that SFO has a New Employee Orientation video that posted on to YT 6 hours ago. The only thing that stood out to me in my one view was a digital clock, 2:30.
Are you acting intentionally dense or are you really that stupid? The United States were one of the first counties to place travel restrictions and they are still in place.
What's your budget? Low budget could mean $500 or $2,500.
For 7 days flying from central Indiana, you have tons of options. May is a great time to visit Nicaragua or Peru. I'm seeing cheaper flights to Calgary -- you could fly there, rent a car for a week (about $700) and drive around Banff.
In terms of travel planning, I like to use:
You're young, so I'd do a holiday that you wouldn't be able to do later when you're older or have kids. Spend at least three nights in each place you visit so you don't feel rushed. Leave lots of breathing room and at least 1.5 hours for flight connections.
Save a cruise for when you're older and your knees don't work anymore. Unless you want to be on a floating germ ship of seniors and tiny children, it's not for you.
AIRBNB...
Have you thought of renting? I saw https://www.kayak.com/New-York-United-States-Car-Rentals.150.crr.html which gives you $8/day cars. Maybe do the math and see if it's ok.
The way I think about it: being a newbie and buying a $2k car and not having a good friend who is a mechanic-- it's going to be a headache for the most part. On top of it all, you will need to be vigilant on finding issues with the car before buying it and since you're in NY I can't help but to think there are a lot of scammers or people who are willing to hide issues temporarily just for you to find out 1 month later you need a $1k repair.
If I were in your position and require a car for the next 3 or 4 months, I'd rent. While those 4 months pass, I'd take my time in hand-picking a car and educate myself on the 'used' car business more.
You have to choose the right days, they don't have service every day. - https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/Kansas-City-MCI/Iceland-IS0
> For example, a flight from London to Athens can cost less than £10, covering a distance of 2,391 km.
I just did a random flight search and I don't see any flights even close to 10 pounds. https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/London-LON/Athens-Eleftherios-V--ATH
Where are you seeing £10 flights and how easily can one find them?
Honestly, it's gonna be hard to do without paying the drop fee. I'm looking at different car rental services online right now but they all seem to include that.
Renter | Drop Fee |
---|---|
Enterprise | $408.52 |
Avis | $400 |
Alamo | $500 |
Hertz | None* |
*Hertz charges 3x/day as much on one-way rentals though, so it's ≈$415
Edit: Also OP if you're under 25 then good luck finding a company that'll rent to you…
Edit 2, Rent-A-Car Boogaloo:
Priceline† & Kayak‡ are showing rentals at around ≈$100/day if you book now, which obviously isn't as cheap as it would be if you weren't going one-way but is better than going through the renters' sites where they tack on huge fees
I guessed on dates (14 Aug. – 18 Aug.) but the prices should be relatively similar per day for weekdays
What are you talking about? There are only 5 countries in the entire world that do not have a covid-related travel ban on US citizens
https://www.kayak.com/flights/OSL-LAX/2019-12-10/2019-12-31/ffc7f2f3c1b6d2af93e96fd993a5da5c0
Total price is $362 round trip
The cheapest one is about 3 USD cheaper but it takes a few more hours.
Of you have any questions just ask
Try using a search engine like https://www.kayak.com/cars To get availability from various rental companies in the area, then find a location that would be convenient for you for pick-up and drop-off. Most major rental companies (Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, Budget / Alamo are probably the most popular ones) allow for you to have different locations for pick up and drop off, which means that if you want to take a taxi from your arrival place (airport or other transportation station) to El Sobrante, you can rent a car in El Sobrante, then return it at SFO or another location when you drop it off. You can also double check pricing by looking up discount sites, and then the actual rental company website, as sometimes they are cheaper if you rent directly instead of through a 3rd party. Hope this helps! If you rent a sedan (5 passenger) at least one week in advance, you should have plenty of options under $100/day.
If your AFSC doesn't travel doesn't mean that you can't.

Actually Iceland is the best deal around for international travel. SFO to Iceland is as low as $260 round trip.
I'm of the opinion that all people should have regular vacations and if you're doing it on a budget then Iceland is the way to go.
https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/San-Francisco-SFO/Iceland-IS0
That's cause you're booking from the airline directly. Searching on kayak.com, I found a flight from the same airline for three days later at $793, round trip.
$793 for 10900 miles = $0.073 per mile.
Waiting until March with a different airline prices got as low as $503 = $0.046 per mile.
kayak is all I know in regards to travel restrictions. The top 10 freest countries 2020 are a joke though, with Hong Kong and Australia and New Zealand. Yeah, very free, much liberty.
I’m on kayak now and it says: Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to France. Exceptions Children under the age of 11 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result. Visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering France.
Being a poor doesn't give you the excuse to not have your children depend on you. I think she needs to let go of her insecurities and celebrate an important day in you and your fiances life. It's very cool she helped with the centerpieces and am happy they turned out well.
You did the smart thing by drawing the line in the sand on your wedding day. It's supposed to be about you king, don't let others get in the way.

I agree with others, going to Asia is to far for your time, and from lax, Europe is pretty far too. I don’t know much about Canada, but do recommend Mexico for the beach/relaxation style trip. At one point for our honeymoon, we were considering going to the st Regis in Punta Mita. Super close from west coast. Beach, etc. other ideas are def Cancun and the all inclusive Hyatt’s. Lots of other hotels there as well.
I’m not sure what kind of trip you want, but I might consider the Caribbean as well.
A fun exercise might be to explore this link with your fiancé. These are all the places you can fly nonstop from lax (can switch to sfo too). Maybe you’ll see something that sparks your interest: https://www.kayak.com/routes/LAX/201808
Lastly, it’s your honeymoon. I would focus on what you want and then figure a reasonable way to get there. I wouldn’t try to focus on absolutely maximizing points value. Good luck!
A quick search shows US Memorial Day is the most expensive time for hotels in May. Even then The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmount Waterfront, Rosewood Hotel Georgia and Wedge Wood are all <$400/nt. The Coast, Pinnacle and Sutton are all ~$300/nt.
Here is the same search for the Canadian long weekend. Which is slightly less. I tied full weeks for the rest of the month and all were less.
Not sure how the OP picked a random day in May and got such crazy rates.
I feel for your plight, as I have been in the same situation in other parts of the world.
It's certainly not the only way to get to and from Afghanistan, though. https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/United-States-US0/Afghanistan-AFG
Is it that this is the only airline authorized by your Company? You should definitely take that up with your boss, as well as having them reimburse you for any out of pocket on your part.
Try autotempest.com It's an aggregate search kinda like kayak.com is for travel
Oh man, that's a lot of word vomit. I really touched a nerve, didn't I?
Hey, why don't you buy a plane ticket to Venezuela? It sounds like you're tired of living in this Capitalist hell hole. I don't know how I tolerate it myself, really. One way trips seem to be pretty affordable.
Ooh Cuba I'm sure is looking nice this time of year.
Come on, put your money where your mouth is. Go there and get a job and a house. Show all those Cubans what they're missing out on.
Well, Canada in general is a good option since the exchange rate is seriously in our favor. If you use the Kayak Explore page and plug in your dates, you get a good idea for airfares. Toronto is clocking in at $300 USD. Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, and Orlando are all coming in pretty cheap as well. New Orleans might be in your cards as well depending on timing.
If you plan your accommodation for hostels or private room AirBnBs, you budget is totally doable. San Diego ticks a lot of your boxes, but if you've never been to New Orleans and can live without swimming, that seems like a winner.
Check out this covid travel map from https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions. It shows which countries are open for travel. It is the most easy to use and up-to-date map I could find.
Just check Kayak and Hostelworld for random weekday dates a few months from now, you'll find a ton of options for all price ranges. Dont automatically write off Hostels. I know they have a reputation for cheap dorm style rooms, but the majority of Hostels i've stayed in (over 100 on 4 continents) all have private rooms available. They are usually more expensive than the dorm but still cheaper than hotels Plus, hostels have a very social atmosphere and are great for meeting other travelers.
When traveling, figure out what you want and how much you are willing to spend. If all you want is to be pampered on a beach, then you can save money by going to the Florida Keys instead of Cancun. If want to experience culture and landmarks, then cut back on the luxury parts. A hotel should be a clean and safe place to sleep and shower, you dont really need much more than that. You'll be spending most of your time away from the hotel room anyway.
There are some flights to Johnannesburg, South Africa for around $600 right now. I think it's a Kayak only deal.
https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/United-States-US0/Australia-AU0
For hundreds of years the United States has had a multitude of weapons. Just 60 or so years ago (and still happening in rural areas) fathers would hand down or purchase rifles for their children once they became of age. High Schools had shooting teams, people kept weapons in their vehicles. No mass shootings except for one, that I can think of.
In the past 20 years there has been a large increase, not as often or as deadly as car crashes, but still a large increase. If you all want to pretend that reason is 'guns' so be it, if you want to actually figure out how to solve the issue then lets find out what changed 20 years ago.
Use a calendar feature like what google flights has. Cheapest days to fly will probably be weekdays. Flying on Friday and Sunday are usually most expensive.
Also check out https://www.kayak.com/explore/
I'd consider using one of the aggregator sites to search but booking directly with the airline. This will give you the most peace of mind and recourse in case something goes wrong (delays etc). It will also let you pick your seat(s) and other normal things. AVoid the budget airlines such as Spirit/Frontier, they have the most restrictions around what the base fare includes. If you've never flown before it will add nothing but unnecessary stress to navigate.
If you're flying to NYC, be aware of how much it costs to vacation in NYC. You can put together a frugal trip, especially with all of the pay what you want museums, but it's not an inexpensive destination overall.
If you do end up doing NYC, Browse /r/AskNYC for tips on a frugal trip and avoiding the tourist traps
In the U.S.? Would you consider Nola? I always check Kayak explore and Southwest low fare calendar
Oh I see. I thought you were starting in California.
I assume the 25 hours is because your flight from NY won't get you there early enough for the LAX-MMH flight? If you can't layover in LA, then you should fly to Reno, NV and take the bus from there.
Early flight out of Newark gets you to Reno in time to catch the 1:30pm bus from the airport
For $1,113 you can get (6/1) LGA -> NRT then (6/11) HND -> HKG then (6/18) -> LGA. Get creative and take a look at multi-city or book a RT to TYO and buy your HKG fare separate. Just a thought? I'm sure you've done more research then I have.
Yes, most large car rental places will allow you to pick up in one location/city/country and return in another. Try Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Europcar.
I don't know any non-major agencies with offices in both Amsterdam and Paris, so you may be stuck with these places. Try a comparison site, such as Kayak.
Be aware that driving in the Netherlands is not straight-forward. This is not because of heavy traffic, but some interesting/unique rules. But... the countryside between Amsterdam and Paris is great.
As /u/visvis mentioned: train connections between all these places are very good and you won't have to deal with parking/traffic. Think about an impromptu train ride between the two cities: trains are good and not expensive. You can easily stop in many beautiful places without it costing much more.
Good luck and enjoy the trip!
No, Osaka has flights pretty much everywhere. I've even seen it cheaper to fly out of Osaka on one of your legs. It can be more expensive to fly out of a smaller airport like Hiroshima.
Just as a completely arbitrary example:

Oh, I made the decision to have nothing to do with Western countries for the rest of my life. There is nothing democratic or free about a country like Australia or Canada.
I am only asking because according to this website, 'Unvaccinated visitors from Mexico will not be allowed to enter Germany'.
I am just trying to clarify, as I can't find any information anywhere regarding transiting via a third country which doesn't allow visitors.
If it's too much for you then you should just rent a manual and should have considered booking a car months ago not wait till the last possible minute. Prices tend to go up during high season and guess what it's high season in Greece.
420 euro a day? What kind of car was it?
One final question was this to ask for advice or just a rant post?
>Be careful if you use taxis and ask for a price before getting in, especially in places like Ayia Napa where there are a lot of drunk people. Many taxi drivers try taking advantage of people and overcharge them.
Just rent a car! https://www.kayak.com/cars/Larnaca,Cyprus-c32005/2021-07-11/2021-07-18;map?sort=rank_a
Prices are low, and you have the car for a week, to travel around
> The United States has restricted the entry of all foreign nationals who have visited Brazil, China, Iran, the Schengen Area, Ireland, or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days.
I don't see that being lifted by October. It's too bad because Minotaur is an amazing bot. They had a rough beginning last year but they pulled it together. Lots of foreign bots are amazing. I want to see them all fight but that's not going to happen this year. I do feel we will still have an amazing season though.
I have no idea why people use that clunky mess. Kayak has a much better one, and it's free with no subscription.
You'll see most of the same fares on all of the above websites. Anything offered on these sites are mirrored on the cruise line websites themselves as well, which I would recommend to book with directly since if an issue arises you will work directly with the cruise line versus through a third-party online travel agent.

Do it. You can take leave if it does open up, but it's not looking like it will. I have friends who just did this. Check out www.kayak.com/explore to put in price point and date requests and search for places you can go in the next few days.

Without googling, Butler National Golf Club doesn't allow women on the property. I'm sure you can find many more if you google. Actually, I just checked to make sure Butler National Golf Club doesn't allow women and found that it's 1 of 4 clubs in the Chicago area alone that doesn't allow women.
As an aside, I spent a weekend trying to find a course that would allow me to play wearing jeans (I'd only packed jeans or shorts on holiday.. ) and failed - there was no golf for me. It's not always easy to 'go to a rival' if they are all the same.
Also, unsure why you're restricting your question to America when the original article is regarding Finland but anyway.
Resorts, I had to google but here and here. These are resorts which you, asa man, can go to, but a woman cannot.
Here is a list of private members clubs in the USA which are generally male only. Why do I mention these? They have more in common with the resort mentioned in the article than you may think, seeing as both place a lot of importance on networking.
I'm a pro UX designer, hope I can help. Never ever start your site with a modal. When I saw that it was a modal, I immediately dismissed it before it fully loaded. I didn't even care to read it. It's a common habit most users have that's caused by websites abusing modal windows with their email newsletter asks.
All you need to do here is inset the modal on the map and remove the background dimming. For example, https://www.kayak.com/ look at how kayak insets their form in the background image. Yours should look like that but with the map.
The other glaring problem I see is that your call to action text is very confusing. "Zoom to your city" - huh? What do you mean by "zooming"? What am I zooming for? Why should I put my city in? Your text gives no context and leaves the user confused and unwilling to act.
You're telling users what to do without telling them why. "find your city" does not communicate why or the purpose behind it. Be clear with your language and why you want them to do that.
The language you're using is also technical jargon. "zoom" needs to be humanized. That's not how humans speak to humans. The 3 buttons action labels are also confusing and too many buttons.
Look at https://www.airbnb.com/. Their call to action text is humanized and explains why they should enter their city. Yours does not which leads users confused and abandoning your site.
I think that November is the perfect time to go to Europe.
Hostelbookers to find a good hostel.
Kayak to find a flight. https://www.kayak.com/explore/ATL/20171104,20171130
Here's a breakdown of what it would take to go to Europe:
You can't afford London or Scandinavia, but you could do:
Or, if you want slightly warmer weather and no second flight:
> The big rental agencies would be twice that.
no, they aren't. the whole myth that the little guys are always half of what the corporate locations would charge is bullshit. everyone is in it to make money... why would you charge half of what your competitors charge? that doesn't even make sense.
11 days will cost you easily under $400 using the "big guys"
That seems high to me, but you know better than I do. October 2017 Wow is flying there for $400, Aer Lingus is flying there sub-$700, SAS for $742. I've been looking up London flights pretty regularly for the past couple years and I've always balked at anything over $700 because it has always been pretty easy to find a deal. And I have looked Wednesday/Thursday/Friday through Sunday, because my primary purpose for looking is to attend a Saturday Premier League match.
Maybe these prices are in response to Norwegian's whole thing, but as you know that doesn't start til March, so I don't know if it's standard to have so much competition ~5 months prior to that.
Doing a quick search on Kayak: https://www.kayak.com/hotels/Boston,MA-c25588/2017-07-10/2017-07-11/1adults
Looks like theres a hole-in-the-wall hotel in Chinatown at $54 for tomorrow night. Next cheapest is $150 for a couple hotels in Quincy. If you're looking for something closer than Newton, most options are between $250-$350/night.
$4000 for 15 - 20 days without plane tickets?! That is more than enough. However, renting a car can be very expensive if you are not yet 25. If you are 25, there are some possibilities for cheap rentals. The cheapest deals I found come from Los Angeles for $372. I would suggest starting there - LAX is a big hub airport and should have some great deals! My boyfriend and I did a three month road trip around the US and averaged about $1000 per person. We were staying in budget hotels the whole time and eating at restaurants every now and again. But depending on how you want your experience to be, you can spend way more (luxury hotels, restaurants for every meal, etc.) or way less (camping, volunteering for free accommodation and food, etc.). I would start in Los Angeles and drive up the coast to Yosemite. Then, head to San Francisco and back to Los Angeles to drop off the car and fly back out. You can get a one-way rental car to pick up in Los Angeles and drop off in San Francisco, but this usually adds a "Drop Fee". According to Kayak, to pick up in LA and drop off in San Francisco, it's an extra $200 drop fee if you want to do this. If you don't mind hostels, hostels are your cheapest option for LAX and San Francisco accommodation. This will be around $30 per night per person. Average cost for accommodation in Yosemite is $130 a night for a hotel room.
Hope this helps! PM me if you have any more travel questions :)
I understand how you feel. Humans aren't mean to be in a routine. The slower we move, the faster we die.
Trust me, you don't want to wake up at 60 years old and realize that your life was full of could haves, almosts and maybes.
Here's what I would do if I were you. I'll try to make it as analytical as possible.
Make a budget for your travelling. I'd say 1,000-3,000$ should be more than enough.
https://www.kayak.com/explore/
Pick the cheapest one that's still moderately far away from you. Then pick another one. Then another one.
Clean up your apartment and list it for rent while you're travelling. Take a small backpack only with the essentials. And go. Fucking LIVE. Even if you only go for a week, or 2, or 3.
You will feel so much better and you will actually be able to think clearly about what to do next.
Best of luck, friend.
Key West is very nice, specially in the off season. Less people and less BS. If you want to look at other places, check out Kayak Explore and see about flights that are cheap to places you want to go. I know for me, DC to Fort Lauderdale are usually dirt cheap at $95 or less round trip (save for holidays and spring break). If you look a little you can find rentals for $200 or so a week for a midsized car.
Tiens, cadeau https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/Dallas-Ft-Worth-other-airports-DFW/Washington-WAS
Tant mieux pour toi si ces prix sont ridicules, mais 150 dollars, si c'est pas énorme, c'est pas rien non plus
a car is always the best option. renting an economy car from the 2nd through the 8th is only $162 from hertz.
you could save a couple bucks (emphasis on a couple) by renting something through turo, like this 2003 corolla for $138
if you're staying in waikiki, parking actually might cost more per day than the rental, so i'd check the parking situation out.
if parking is scarce or expensive turo might be a better option since you can probably have them meet you at your hotel and just use the car for one or two days. factor in the cost of getting to/from the airport though...
uber is a thing but i'd venture to guess it will end up costing you more than $25 a day ubering everywhere.
Thats expensive. What are you looking it? It shows $450 here
https://www.kayak.com/cars/LAS-a35107/2017-03-08/2017-03-21
or $383 if you drop the car off on the 19th since you won't need it when in Vegas
Have you tried Kayak Trips? It has most of the features of Tripit Pro and is free.
I recently switched to it from Tripit and it is much better at parsing reservation emails. The view is also easier to read.
I can't say that I feel bad for a 42 year old creep trying to get with an 18 year old.
> if I sent her money to pay for her travel. I sent her $3000.
Did she tell you that she only travels on private jets?
I'm finding round trip tickets for under $200.
https://www.kayak.com/flight-routes/Los-Angeles-LAX/Miami-MIA
>Eventually, we actually did meet up, but she didn't look like the person in her pictures.
And no alarm bells went off?
>We chatted for a bit and I let her come stay with my parents and I
42 and still living at home. I can see why you don't try getting with women your own age.
> I drove to a motel room and had sex, which she recorded
Why the fuck would let a girl you just met record your shit.
>and said she was 15 years old
You weren't suspicious at all? Come on dude, you can't be that stupid.
>she would take our online conversations to the police, as well as the video, if I did not give her more money.
That's pretty much straight up blackmail. She's 15, and will claim to be a victim, and will get a slap on the wrist.
>she said I was going to go to jail and be rejected by my family.
I don't know how your family will react, but you are definitely at risk of going to jail and getting on the sex offenders list.
If I were you, I would start looking up criminal defense attorneys.
The only cards you really have to play, is to tell her that you have evidence of her blackmail attempts, and that the video she has could land her in trouble for manufacturing and possessing child pornography.
I'm really hoping that you are a troll and this is all fake.
Flights to Indianapolis are pretty cheap at the moment... We can have a crew there in, say... 2 weeks? Oh wait, that kinda defeats the purpose lol
While I think you should just go ahead and visit Istanbul, if it really bothers you, just remember that there are other options in the area. Turkish is a great and cheap airline. If you find a round trip flight leaving IST shortly after you arrive and arriving shortly before you depart you can just turn it into a stopover.
Cities under $100 (at their cheapest, not necessarily in June):
https://www.kayak.com/explore/IST/?budget=100
Plenty of options: Budapest, Vienna, Athens, Cyprus, Tbilisi, Dubrovnik, Lviv, Munich, Bucharest, Belgrade, Ljubljana...
Check out https://www.kayak.com/news/ They have an email list you can get on. Another idea would be the budget airline websites that serve your city. Each airline usually has an email list to be notified when they run a fare sale.
Oh no, almost as if taxes fund services or something like that! Then again, you could be chilling in Mogadishu and not annoying us for as little as $828 one-way, so the choice is yours.
No on a per capita basis Panama had more deaths than Vietnam. At one point it was in the top 15 in the world in total per capita deaths in 2020. So lockdowns don't do anything.
And you're wrong, the first peak in deaths in Panama started in July when they were still in strict lockdown mode. That has nothing to do with tourists. It's hilarious how people think only foreigners can spread a virus btw.
Moreover Panama also never totally loosened up. They still to this day require quarantine for international travelers and testing https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions/panama . So I'm calling total bullshit, you can't blame foreigners for the deaths.
Looking at all of latin america, whether they had strict measures or more lax measures you will see similar results across the board. Lockdowns only make you economically and physically weaker as a nation.
Portugal guidance has changed as of 10/1, but I’m still struggling to determine if vaccinated Americans need to present a negative test or not anymore. Updates online are not the clearest.
https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions/portugal
Can anyone tell me if vaccinated Americans can get into Portugal without the negative test? We leave a week from today.
Kayak has a feature called explore where it will list cheapest prices to every airport. You can play with filters to suit your need.
What about Spain and maybe Portugal? You could take a red eye to Madrid. Not sure which FL airport you're traveling from, but there are direct flights to Madrid from MIA. You could do a night or two in Portugal. The flight between both countries is like 1.5 hrs. Haven't been to Portugal, but Madrid and Barcelona are both beautiful cities and I believe both are currently open to US passport holders. I like the explore function on Kayak when I'm looking for ideas for places to go. This link is set from MIA:

Safe & happy travels!
I think only Thailand, you can enter Phuket if vaccinated. Need Covid test before you fly, certificate of entry from Thai embassy, US$100,000 insurance, Covid test on arrival, another Covid test after a week. If you test positive, (and people have- you can still be positive after vaccination) there is mandatory quarantine for 14 days which you have to pay for. You have to get a flight that arrives directly into Phuket, you can transit outside Thailand (for example through Doha) but you can't fly into Bangkok and take an internal flight to Phuket.

Saratoga is 20 min from the Albany airport
All the other sources that I've looked at say there are no testing or quarantine requirements to enter Mexico. However, Kayak is claiming that there is a quarantine requirement and they don't even say how many days:
https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions/mexico
"Visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for days upon entering Mexico."
Are they just wrong?
What are you using to search? I punched a search into Kayak and literally the first result is a Singapore Airlines route with just a 50 minute layover.

I'm a Mexican citizen living in mexico. I have my US Visa expired and they closed renewals some months ago because of the pandemic until now that they finally opened but they usually last 5-6 months to give you an appointment and with all the delayed requests they have in the line they can last 7-8 months. So i can't enter the US for now.
Where else i can get the vaccine as a tourist not so far from the American continent?
I heard about Serbia and Russia but i don't know if they closed their vaccine tourism programs or they might close them in the near future.
UAE is too far and hotels are too expensive, if this is not true i might change my opinion.
Maldives is too far and flights are too expensive
Does Canada give vaccines to tourists or foreigners?
Does UK or any EU country gives vaccines to tourists or foreigners?
Most EU countries have covid travel ban for most mexican passport holders, except for Switzerland, Ireland, UK and most balkan countries. Also the purpose is not having to request another visa and waiting for more months, as a mexican i can access Serbia visa free, most balkan countries, UK and Ireland visa-free
https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions
If im going to wait more than 7 months for a vaccine either because the vaccine scheme in mexico is too slow or because US visas are very delayed its more feasible for me going to another country not too far from home and get the vaccine.
Jesus, never thought I’d see the day people want to visit this place...
Sigh...20th and Penrose, the Penrose Hotel. Used to be a Travel Lodge in the 90s and 00s. South Philly.
FYI, the countries in green plus USA are effectively the countries where we can go as a tourist at the moment.
Feel for you, brother. I read you had a bad experience in Mexico. Another more palatable Latin destination is Ecuador, which is completely open, so you may want to try it.
I lucked out like a big-balled bull. I've been living in Asia for the last 10 years and left Chiang Mai and moved to Saigon in late January, just before things got weird. Vietnam has done an incredible job: 96 million people and only 35 deaths. Aside from wearing masks most of the time, I tend to forget this shit is even happening. I feel very fortunate and thank all the gods, minor and major and whatever other allies are helping out this old Wisconsin farm boy.
I'm moving to Quito, Ecuador in January, assuming its borders remain open. Good luck to you.
BTW, here's a great site, done by Kayak, showing travel restrictions worldwide: https://www.kayak.com/travel-restrictions
Sounds like you wanna get COVID lol? Might as well stay in the US, but to answer your question regarding resources

I use kayak explore (https://www.kayak.com/explore/XXX - replace XXX with your airport code), Skyscanner, Google Flights, Momondo. I also use Frequent Flyer points for my trips, especially to more expensive locations. Generally I will book either on the airline site directly or via Expedia.
24 countries are open to US travelers by air
July 21st only applies to non-essential travel through the land crossing with Mexico
I have this link bookmarked: https://www.kayak.com/explore/MSP?budget=500 It just shows flights out of MSP less than $500 (obviously you'll change to your local airport). Right now there are a few to Europe and a few to Asia and even a couple to South America.
For lodging, wherever you go, you should have no problem finding a private room for less than $100 per night (I just booked a private room in a gorgeous brownstone in Manhattan for $100). If you're solo then staying in the dorms is even cheaper. I use hostelworld.com and never had any issues.
Combination of things including CA and especially SF prices. But generally it's the SF->LA route. Most people drive SF->LA on the PCH so there's a hefty one way charge as less cars are coming up north so LA's left with a bunch of cars that may have to go back up. Just checked for 7/17 - 7/22 for a few things and that generally checks out:
Renting out of SF and returning at same location = ~$300
Renting out of LA and returning in SF = $450
Renting out of SF and returning in LA ~$750 or $500 at Car rentals Express - never used them.
>best resource to figure out which US airports are the jumping off points for which cities in SE Asia
www.kayak.com/routes/PHX where phx is the airport code you're interesting in departing from... It'll show you every non-stop flight and the destination. It's a fun little tool. I don't use it for the flights themselves, just the routes and the carrier.
https://www.kayak.com/explore/SEA/20180917,20180924?budget=1100
This is the best thing to look at flights.
Just remember that some places are expense to fly to, but super cheap to stay/transportation/eat (like southeast Asia)
Bro why the hell are car rentals so expensive in denver? In the last week of July during my visit it's around $200, or $100/day . Most other places range in the $60 range for the same car per day.
