I understand why you want to use WSJ's popularity polling to gauge how well BC is doing, but unfortunately the popularity poll is not the best indicator for that. A manga with a smaller, tighter knit community like with Black Clover will tend to do better with filling out surveys and whatnot. In addition, BC has the underdog effect going for it where people perceive it as less popular than it is, so they root for it harder.

Really the main metric that is used to judge how well a series is doing is total number of units sold. In 2017 Black Clover sold just under 2 million units. In comparison, MHA sold 5.8 million units. I am a fan of both BC and MHA, so I think it is important to stay realistic about what the numbers are telling us. MHA is very popular outside of the WSJ, has a hit tv show with a high-end budget, and has consistently increased unit sales since the anime aired, so MHA is not going anywhere anytime soon. The real test for Black Clover and one of the biggest factors of whether it will receive a second season is how large of a boost in sales the manga will see in 2018 and how big of an effect the anime had on those sales. If the manga sells around the same number of units in 2018 as it did in 2017, then the chances of another season drop lower.

For those of you interested I ended up getting the shirt from Amazon. The size shown here in the video is a Large. It fits me pretty well, so I'd recommend it.

Line is a Japanese Texting App. I got it right before going to Japan and still have it. It is very nice for customization and stickers. There seems to have been a sticker set released for the 50th anniversary of Shonen Jump. I don't know if it was limited edition but I could not download it. The new sticker set I could download only after using TunnelBear to change my IP address( idk how these things work).

Sorry for the low quality, it was the best I could do. Also, I do not believe there is an English version for either. As I use Line regularly, I was very happy to see BC stickers. Line is not so popular in the US but it is very nice and I thankfully managed to get some friends to use it.

Black Clover is their "pet", that's why they promote it so much. The nominees are decided by judges, none of whom seem to be tied to Crunchyroll.
