Because that is not the normal way to adapt HDMI/DP. HDMI/DP conversions are directional so:
HDMI to DP =/= DP to HDMI
HDMI to DP is an active conversion and usually pretty expensive (especially for HDMI 2.0).
https://www.amazon.com/gofanco-Prophecy-HDMI-DisplayPort-Converter/dp/B07BT4BG4C/
At that price I would look for a display that has HDMI 2.0 input and can do 144hz over HDMI.
I've seen them drop in price rarely but nothing as huge as other sites unfortunately. Check out sites like http://camelcamelcamel.com/ so you can watch prices and get alerts when they drop! Also setup a buildapcsales bot for the words 980ti so you get emails when there's a sale.
If they don't have the one you want choose another one or buy elsewhere, they aren't going to have every single model from every single company on their site.
Just seems like your nitpicking at this point.
Hoverhound chrome extension works for newegg showing price comparison with amazon and ncix.
camelcamelcamel will send you email updates on price drops. You just set the price you want and it checks it against amazon and I think a few other sites but not sure.
And as TheDudeThatLurks said pcpartpicker.com is another way.
I also keep buildapcsales page up with a chrome auto refresh extension going.
If you want to DIY, great, if you have a frys or microcenter in your area you can probably get the cpu/mobo cheaper.
Otherwise this (the 1700x) is a damn good deal right now https://slickdeals.net/f/10351760-dell-inspiron-5675-desktop-ryzen-5-1400-8gb-ddr4-256gb-ssd-1tb-hdd-650-after-100-slickdeals-rebate-more-free-s-h?v=1 and out specs your setup for less.
idk if your an amazon prime member but this is $99 if you are
You can easily find 5meter and 10meter 5050rgb LED strips on amazon or even cheaper on eBay.

buying 10 of these on jet would save you $50. Not sure of accurate price, but jet has the quantity discounts. Also usually has a good promo code for a % off. Good place to start?
kazaa plugin for Amazon. Fast, fully free, fucking fantastic.
Also https://ifttt.com, which can send you a ping in the Telegram app if a reddit post goes up with keywords you select. There are probably "back in stock" posts over on r/buildapcsales
Just take this applet https://ifttt.com/applets/zdR9c2KA and edit it for your own keywords
Yes.
https://ifttt.com/applets/217795p-if-notification-when-new-reddit-post-matches-search
Be specific and careful in your search. For example I recently used:
(title:"750 ti" OR title:770 OR title:750ti) AND flair:selling subreddit:hardwareswap
It's not lightning fast, but you get what you pay for.
Unsure why the formatting didn't work on that link...Here it is. Comes out to about $125 with no tax and free shipping.
there are plenty to choose from on the newegg page
I don't think RES offers this natively however I found something like this on IFTTT (https://ifttt.com/applets/158672p-new-hot-post-in-subreddit-push-notification)
This applet is for receiving notifications for "hot" posts but I imagine it can be configured for all new posts as well.
It is standard practice that you mail it back and once it arrives your refund gets processed.
Just about any other online store will do the exact same thing(with Amazon being the big exception).
There is also no mention of Exchanges on their FAQ page so it would be reasonable for them to not do so for you.
Amazon's Return/Refund/Exchange practices are not the norm so it is best to not expect other companies to perform the same way.
jet.com my friend. If you wave returns, use debit and use SHOP10 or TRIPLE15, as a code, you can get it for about $190. I've been eyeballing one for a while to upgrade my wife from a G3258. I've used jet on multiple occasions, and all have been successful. I'm getting a FuryX in the mail from them tomorrow! Super pumped!
You could use the subreddit's search bar for a one time search every now and then. I think you could use RES for a permanent solution (computer-only), but I'm not too sure on how should one go to set it up as you require it to be. Good luck.
dam, im thinking this might only be a deal when the mr things came out - https://slickdeals.net/f/11314479-15-6-iinspiron-15-7000-series-gaming-notebook-dell-7577-w-gtx1060-with-acer-mixed-reality-headset-1049?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1
Ethereum. Haven't read too much about it but it seems to be the popular currency people are mining. Not sure as to which cards are being used, I'd assume 380X's and HD 79XX's series cards.
It's to the right of "All of the TV. None of the commitment." at the bottom of the page.

If you have a student discount you can get the Samsung JG50 (27" VA 1440p 144Hz, no adaptive sync) for under $250 from the Samsung store.
Acer recertified is also a decent place to look, especially given that you can apply the Rakuten sitewide coupons. This TN 1440p 144Hz 27" is $220 after code SAVE15. Might be some other interesting stuff buried in there if you check.
Otherwise anywhere within the $300-$350 range, depending on sales.
You can create multiple accounts and use a website like privacy.com to create temporary cards to use. I don't know if Google has started tracking shipping/billing addresses but until they do you can use the method I mentioned.
Here is more info about this deal if you're having trouble.
edit: they deal is still on but they raised the price $150 :/
It's more than likely just too front heavy for the amount of tension is can provide. I've had the same issue on some hefty older 27" monitors even on the Mount-It triple monitor mount I bought for like $120 a few years ago, so it's not a big shock to me that it's not holding it. You can check the weight of your monitor model and compare it to the max weights of the arms (19.8lbs claimed).
I'd suggesting getting a 2nd more rigid monitor arm such as this one (or any other relatively inexpensive arm) and reserving the arm you already have for a lighter 2nd monitor. If you need the flexibility of that gas spring arm, you may just have to order a much better arm to hold your larger monitor.
I use the Unifi Security Gateway.
Works great, online monitoring, app monitoring.
But I see by 'router' you're referring to Router / Switch / Wifi combo products, which I stay away from. I like my router and switch to be separate.

this is the one I got, simple but it does the job. matches my desk also :)
Looking at a different monitor and I’d like your input. A 1440p at 75hz with 4ms response time The 1440P in question.
or this 24 inch 1080p monitor with 1ms response time and 144hz

I personally recommend the G502 Proteus Core. I got it for $40 I think last year.
However, the RGB Spectrum is only $58.99 on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-Gaming/dp/B019OB663A/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
Thanks for looking, however I can go on Amazon and get a 500Gb for less: https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-BarraCuda-2-5-Inch-Internal-ST500LM030/dp/B01M0AAA6X/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1502454050&sr=8-6&keywords=Sata+2.5in+HDD
I would take a look at Vivo monitor stands/mounts on Amazon. Great quality for a good price.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V002/dp/B009S750LA
It's $148.00 on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-VG240Y-bmiix-FREESYNC-Technology/dp/B07CYJ47JB
Besides that, it's a monitor that's over a year old and was ~$180 during Black Friday so... only the future will know.
My two cents, unless you're playing games with two monitors or have OCD to the point that the monitors need to match, just get a lower Hz monitor as a second monitor.
If you do change your mind about in ear I highly recommend these MEE M6 Pro. I've been using them for gaming for a little over a year now and they're fantastic.
Amazon has this prebuilt for 1.2k. Does that help?
I 2nd Serenikill's recommendation, B550 as the chipset is probably a good choice.
If you are going for budget - this one has great reviews and is only $94...
It can be added to any compressor. They come in many different quality levels at different expense points. I'll link two different options.
Some include auto lube arrangements, to keep your air tools lubed. You do not want this since you don't want oil on your computer.
This one is basic and will do the job: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000CBINA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PT3dFbXAZJY5D
If you were painting automobiles headed for high-end auctions it would be important that absolutely no moisture or oils ever at all got into your paint spray. You would use something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016XIWMPI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5W3dFbCCACVBX
anything like this that you buy will require you to take the hose attachment point off of your compressor, take that and the filter to hardware store, and buy the correct fittings to make it fit. It's not as intimidating or complicated as it sounds, pipe fittings are pretty easy.
depending on what compressor you get it might have a different size fitting on the output. That's why I can't just tell you what fitting you would need to make this fit your compressor.
hope that helps, I'm not the most knowledgeable but I'm happy to share what I do know.
what does the ref mean at the end of the amazon link?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083FMP35T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-6q4EbKGE1B0Q
Looks like they're $60 a piece with a 3 dollar off coupon on Amazon, so right off the bat that double pack is a dollar more expensive. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074RNRM2B/ref=twister_B07B3MFBHY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I've been using knee chairs for a while now and it's helped my back .
This one to be exact.
Also got a standing desk for when i'm just tired of sitting.
This is a better alternative: CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8060A5 Gaming PC (Intel i5-8400 2.8GHz, 8GB DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, WiFi & Win 10) Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0757DVF4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_XN86BbV3PPMX3
If you want more ram you can get this Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2400 for $87.
This one goes on sale a lot for under 200. I got one and its pretty legit. You will have to do some calibrations, the stock settings come pretty poorly set. But once done it's really decent for sub 200. Also if you get it from Costco even better. Cause if you decide you don't like it or find a better one later Costcos return policy is amazing.
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XF240H-bmjdpr-24-inch-FreeSync/dp/B01DHTWZRQ
Because it's 3rd party sellers. Which for some reason always charge stupid amount of prices when no one really has stock.
This one is still high but lower than the rest https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-GeForce-GAMING-Support-08G-P4-5173-KR/dp/B01KVZBNY0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1493239323&sr=8-2&keywords=980ti
Not sure about the keyboard you linked - but I purchased this keyboard back in December and it has been the greatest keyboard I've ever used. I almost bought another one for use at work!!
You really cannot beat the price of this keyboard, too.
Edit - only after posting my comment here, i notice that this amazon listing does not include the keyboard with the num-pad. Mine has the full number pad. Looks like it isn't available from the link I posted. Strange...
By the way, would you recommend anything for chairs? Preferably something with good back support.
Also, for the video card, is there any difference between all the editions? The AERO is the cheapest but I'm wondering if there's any downside: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GUAJMRU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Thanks!
I don't have any headsets to recommend, but if you don't mind dealing with a couple of cables, I'd recommend getting a decent pair of headphones and pairing them with a mod-mic. I tried this headset when it was on sale and was extremely disappointed with the sound quality compared to my setup.
My setup is a Sennheiser HD518 I got on sale for $50 and a $10 clip on mic. The sound from the headphones is great, but the microphone is only adequate. If voice quality is important, consider a mod-mic.
Well the tx3 does not work however the tx4 is almost the exact same price and it's pretty much the same thing
Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes RR-T4-18PK-R1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSKY1M4/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_JpMoxbCHC4X4Y
Just asked them about this for a couple different items. They said they are unable to do it.
The biggest is this one. I paid $120 for this at the end of September. Now it's $85. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MTSWFMM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
My fiance uses a Logitech G430, if you use the USB plug, it has some nice noise-cancelling software built-in. Sometimes a little too much, if you speak too softly it won't catch your voice that well. But it's a very nice and very comfortable headset. Unless you already have headphones you like, I'd recommend the Logitech G430.
If you just want a mic, your options are only limited by your budget. Go for something with gain control, that'll help you eliminate background noise. The Yeti by Blue is a very popular pick for simple ease of use. It's not the godsend people like to say, but it's only around $100 and still works great.
good question, gonna look into it.
