The one I used for this was the Monoprice Select Mini V1 (Not sold anymore, the V2 is out instead), it’s a cheap first 3D printer - Got mine for around £100 off Amazon.
Hey man InnerManRaptor.
I do not have a formal UI background. I studied computer arts with a focus on 3D modeling and animation. But even before college I was very involved in web design and multimedia interface design for cd-roms.
(CD-ROMs wow that sounds so ancient now.) I was working in web design since 1995 and had to good fortune to win a Webby in 1998.
After college I landed a job at GameSpot as their motion graphics producer and then ended up being the art director at a TV channel called MYX. When EA started looking for a UI designer for their new unannounced title in 2007, they reached out to people who had a unique experience and skill set from the usual UI designers. Back in 2007 much of game UI design was HUD and roll-over buttons. The team was luckily looking for something different and liked my non-UI demo reel.
We do things very differently on the team. We do very little paper prototyping. At best we make paintover mockups and photoshop comps. Most of the time we build things in-engine as soon as we can. We build early and iterate often. We have found that a lot can be lost on paper so we just build the real thing as early as we can.
That said... we throw away a lot of work. But it feels better when we know a design fails in-engine rather than on paper. We course correct better this way.
We do lots of testing. We constantly do usability tests and are at the mercy of the findings. Features are built and torn down by testing.
I recommend you read "The Design of Everyday Things" by Donald Norman. In terms fo landing a job... An demo reel will go much further than any resume or screenshot of UI work.
I'll be doing a talk about the UI of the Dead Space franchise in March. Check it out if you can.
In that case another user linked this wiki which I used to solve my framerate/physics issues, maybe that page can help solve your crashing? For whatever reason I didn't run into crashes on my rig
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dead_Space_2 if you look in here they tell you how to unlock the conduit rooms as long as you've beaten the game at least once. You download their file and you have to rename some of your dat files but it should be pretty simple. This is a trusted website lots of good help and files and workarounds for lots of games! Especially when the PC version get borked compared to the console versions, like Batman Arkham asylum not having the joker dlc stuff, some one figured out a way to get it in there and this website had the files and tells you how to do it! Good luck!
Hi. You can replace the Dead Space 2 .exe on your PC with the old one to get rid of these suits, and restore the normal experience. This is what I did, and it worked for me.

Just to make you aware, you might experience a glitch with the Solar Array elevator if you do this. I'm not sure if it's related to replacing the .exe or not, but just making you aware anyway. It's not game-breaking or anything. You just have to reload your save if you die. You can read about the glitch here (spoilers): https://steamcommunity.com/app/47780/discussions/0/624076851044121472/
Origin is EA's digital game distribution service (like Steam)
I thought so about Win 10, Dead Space 2 is an old enough game that the install file might not play nice with Win 10. Have you tried running the install file in compatibility mode yet? I would do that first and then if that doesn't work, download Origin and set up an account, and then try redeeming your product key through the service.
The only thing modded is the blood on the suit. The games running on max settings and I always drop the brightness wayy down. I feel like that adds to it alot.
Just an hour ago I decided to try a "Fake Next Gen" mod. It actually does a really good job at changing the game up and adding to the lighting effects and color. Definitely recommend.

As far a graphics that's all I got.
A mysterious incident on a space vessel returning from deep space? Check.
Body Horror? Check.
Hallucinations? Check.
Gore? Check.
Unfortunately the original version hosted on Newgrounds web site is relying on Addobe Flash Player to work, so if you are iffy about using it (like myself) you can download the Flashpoint Infinity emulator to play this game on your PC (along with many other old flash games).
This was used with the WeMod trainer to teleport around.

Enjoy. I suggest using this offline for safety against Steam VAC.
I used to volunteer at a library and they had a machine for cleaning and restoring beat up CDs and DVDs, like this but a bit more industrial. It worked incredibly well on even the most beat up CDs.
See if your local library has one, mine would let anyone bring in a CD and get it cleaned.
Am I the only one here who bought and read Dead Space: Martyr?
It details the discovery of the original Black Marker in the Chicxulub crater on Earth, it being extracted from its resting place, a floating research facility being made to study it, and three guesses what happens. Featuring Michael Altman and Hideki Ishimura and the beginnings of the ~~cult~~ religion known as Unitology.
A game based on that, if made well, would be great.
Yeah, good question. It definitely is very confusing at times. However this should be what you are looking for https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1781165513
As far as I can tell the Paperback should have Issues 1-6 & Extraction, so basically every comic. This is a reprint from 2013 done by Titan Books. Unfortunately according to reviews the quality isn't very good of the copies (can fall apart easily..). I have ordered a copy myself recently but didn't arrive yet. If the quality really is that bad the way to go would be: Paperback for the collection; digital copies to read.
Yeah man, I really don't know what the difference is, but if you check the product details on Amazon, it says that the 2010 IDW Publishing version has 104 pages and the 2013 Titan Books version has 128.
I prefer the 2010 cover, but I'll probably be getting the 2013 edition. Allegedly more content and it's from the same publisher as the other two.
Here's a link for the book on Amazon if you're interested.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MF7EQJZ looking at this one and it doesn't look too steep, almost willing to take the risk someday. I've literally lost or damaged almost all of my Xbox 360 games and my other consoles were fucking sold because my family needed the money. How I will never forgive the time my original Xbox was sold, I even had an N64 and SNES but got rid of that too, life sucks.
Eh, I don't have any cost effective acess to the NECA version and my Play Arts version isn't very good.

I really want this, it looks amazingly good.
