I found this article annoying. It is written as if the success of the Broncos and the struggles of the Panthers is a huge surprise to everyone. The Broncos exposed problems with Carolina's offense, and wrote the blueprint on beating the Panthers. Plus with the loss of Norman, it was expected that their defensive production would take a hit. Now, four games into the season, Barnwell lectures us on why this is happening.
Here Barwell lectures us on why the Broncos offseason grade was a C, and why they would not be the same team as last year.
Sure, Elway could have done much better with CJ Anderson, possibly getting a 2nd round pick for him. That said, we obviously aced the offseason by not signing Brock for eleventy million or whatever he was offered by the Texans. Elway realized he had a good team and that a hard working but athletically average qb would do fine in the system.
So, my response is why is this a surprise to anyone? The Broncos crushed the Panthers on the biggest stage in sports. Sure, some offseason fa losses occurred and the Broncos could have regressed to average a little. But then again, this is Elway we're talking about, and until he really screws up an entire offseason (draft, fa) I'm not going to doubt any of the moves he makes.
Maybe the title of this article should be "2016 Broncos are Better than the 2015 Broncos"
Barnwell is a moron like most of the other ESPN staff writers. Honestly, I only use their site for stats.
Considering they called 9 pass plays right off the bat last week? I'm not worried. Falcons don't have a good defense. Only the Raiders have allowed more pass yards per game. Bottom 10 in yards/attempt as well. Their offense has been keeping them in it - against TB (lost), Raiders (worst defense), Saints (terrible defense), and Panthers (above average).
I'm not sure if the the show is rebroadcasted or podcasted, sorry.
Here's the link to the live web page. Maybe they have access to past shows somewhere here.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Sun Tzu - The Art of War
I've answered elsewhere on this thread, but we've quietly put together a top 5 rushing attack. It's just that our team is splitting carries between 4 backs to keep everyone fresh and so we have no players in the rushing leaders section.
The four spaces at the beginning of your post are causing the weird formatting. Four spaces at the beginning of a line tells reddit that the line is pre-formatted, meaning it shouldn't do any line wrapping and such.

If you edit the post and remove the four leading spaces, the formatting should appear as normal.
Recently, I got Klis's newest book: The 50 Greatest Players in Denver Broncos History
I thought I'd share a few thoughts on the book. I haven't read it completely yet, but I've read most of it and sort of get the general flow of the book.
Before I begin, here is a spreadsheet with the list. He also has a lot of HMs as well, but I just didn't feel like writing those out lol. If you want to know those, I guess you'll have to read the book! I wanted to upload an image of it, but for some reason I can't get imgur to load.
He really put a lot of effort into this project. He talks about games, their background, and for a lot of the players even interviewed them and got their personal thoughts about the Broncos and their place. It has a very diverse group of players (not just modern but not just old players) and contextualizes the players belonging in the Broncos lore. It also features tons of interesting anecdotes about the players.
I really can't praise this book enough, if you're a big Broncos nerd it's well worth the 16 bucks on Amazon or wherever you buy your books.
Yeah, everyone says Seattle summers are nice and forget the humid 107°f temps they had last year
This point about the offense they're running is so overlooked by most fans. Lynch took most his snaps from from the shotgun. Siemian is almost always under center. Kubiak's offense does not incorporate much shotgun at all, and if they're running it, it's because they're accommodating Paxton's lack of knowledge of the playbook, and playing to the strengths from his college days.
Just take a quick look at the play-by-play here and you'll see that Paxton was in the shotgun a ton, and Trevor was not.
I did like Fox though. ESPN had an article about Elway this week, found this nugget interesting:
"A rising lack of discipline under Fox prompted Elway to sometimes yell at the team because Fox wouldn't. Before a late-season practice in 2014, Fox turned to a few people on the sideline and asked, "Isn't winning the division enough?" A few weeks later, after the Broncos came out flat in a divisional playoff loss to the Colts, Fox got his answer."
Not sure if there is video, but you can listen to Mase, Polumbus, etc at this link.
petty comment warning:
I wish RapSheet would read The Elements of Style.
"Retired RB Marshawn Lynch told #Raiders he plans to un-retire, I'm told. It's a long process, tho. #BeastMode."
No need for "in fact." And if he's un-retiring, he's obviously going to play again.
Please keep in mind this article is in a newspaper owned by Sheldon Adelson. The Review-Journal hasn't posted a single negative story about this deal. Sadly, the following article from a national newspaper is older but gives a better breakdown of the deal. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/22/sports/football/las-vegas-raiders-nfl-stadium.html?_r=0
Sincerely, Broncos Fan Living in Vegas
Took the orange out of it's mouth due to a request, wanted to reupload b/c I think it looks a lot better.
Also, it's not actually my creation, I got it from here: https://dribbble.com/shots/1404111-Superbowl-Wallpaper/attachments/204092
Didn't want to take credit for something so great, however I really like the style and I might make wallpapers for the other 30 teams based on it!
Here's the Android version of the Denver's Sports Radio app where you can listen live to and download previous episodes! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jacobsmedia.KKFN
There's also a version for iOS.
Tied for 1st with Buffalo according to ESPN
Hopefully, we get a nice lead before the bye!
Edit: At 21 sacks, Von takes up 7.5 of them at number 2 in the league. He's set for a big game tonight!!!!
Except that because so many people have misused literally for so long, they changed the definition of literally to include the meaning of the word figuratively or virtually.
Here's the Dallas Police incident report for Aqib Talib:
Some details from it:
Offense description: aggravated assault
Location: 1311 Empire Central (V Live)
"Unknown suspect"
Check out this comment section from iaofm's game reaction. The first comment (you have to expand to see all of it) is a very detailed explanation of the changes in Denver's D in the second half and validates one of your points: JDR was trying to avoid showing certain looks, but ultimately had to on that game-winning stop by Roby & Co.
Here's an article on it, but yeah, they decided against Super Bowl L. Personally, I really like this "L" logo idea, but I get where they're coming from.
Not strictly technical writing-oriented, but On Writing Well by William Zinsser was a game-changer for me. I'm a grad student and I think about this book every time I write a paper, or anything really. I've also heard decent things about this course.
Go here, enter your zip code and it will bring up a list of stations you can get. Click on the station and it will show the direction from you to the broadcast tower. It’s possible CBS comes from a totally different direction than other stations.

I have had this Terk antenna for 15+ yrs, and it sits in my basement and picks up stations 45-50 miles away with no problem. Unfortunately I don’t think it is made anymore:

Did that all last year, ExpressVPN even has a server in Denver so that made it pretty convenient.
NFL+ was supposed to give us out of market games and my buddy got a free year subscription for being a season ticket holder (for a different team). Apparently it was audio only Week 2 so I was a little pissed. May have to bust out the VPN again.
Yeah, NordVPN has an android app that you can install on the chromecast. I also got an ethernet adapter for my chromecast so I could have a hardwire connection - my TV isn't not close-ish to my router so wireless could be a little spotty.
As far as picture and quality, it has been great - there have been occasional connection hiccups where I'd have to switch the VPN to a different server, so I don't want to oversell it as flawless. But the vast majority of the time I was watching games and redzone channel - including ESPN and NFL Network games - in full HD no issues. For the cost of about $80 for a 2 year vpn subscription and $77 per year for game pass international. Total cost of about $115 per year. Compared to the Sunday ticket b.s. that's a steal
It was Peyton out of the box. I think this company uses the same couple of base models for each pose, and recolors them accordingly. This Aaron Rodgers figure is virtually identical to the PFM one, for example.
optimized gfy(html5 video) version of the gif
Sure you can! Link: https://www.iheart.com/live/denver-broncos-play-by-play-6983/?autoplay=true
I agree with u/OFoutlaw though, they are a good play behind right now for me.

> The reality is more likely Niccol didn't want to move and relocating the offices was probably a condition of his accepting the position. Taco Bell headquarters, where he worked since 2011, is located in Irvine, less than 15 miles from Newport Beach.
If you're down to try a free program, I've been using ShareX for years and you can do screen recordings to .mp4 or GIF, open-source software and free. Insanely customizable as well, auto-upload to imgur etc.
Chris seems to have a definition of disrespect that is different from the definition everyone else has. It seems like it is primarily based on being offered a pile of money.
Ryan Koenigsberg and Andrew Mason had a great analysis of the CHJ situation on the DNVR podcast last week. The discussion starts at about 13:15 in the episode. Definitely worth listening to.
The New York Times has an excellent daily podcast called The Daily. Yesterday's episode is about worst/best case scenarios for this new coronavirus in light of the Spanish Flu. I highly recommend it.
Your suggestion is good to get a Paramount+ app but also get vpn looks to shy. Btw its a personal opinion that vpn is not a bad option to use bcz I also use. Hahaha. However, if you want a discounted service then no one can beat PureVPN bcz it offers 88% off but not preferred to use.
I got my PFM jersey from Aliexpress and it's much better quality; I think it's because he's just a more popular player.
Mine seems completely legit, I think you'd only be able to tell otherwise with a good eye and lean towards scrutiny.
You never know what you're going to get there, the safest bet is to go with the one that has the most orders.
Not bad. I saw this one too. Laughed pretty hard.
Depending on who you ask, helmets take time to adjust and fit to someones head. If you give someone a new helmet that hasn't had a chance to adjust and the inserts time to form to their head etc, you won't get the best fit and it ends up being less safe, kinda like cleats. They can move all that to the new shell, but that only works when they aren't using a helmet that is no longer made.
Bottom line, the league doesn't want someone in a brand new helmet getting hurt and then laying it on them.
Interview with an NFL equipment guy after the rule change was announced. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/9694560/no-break-process-new-nfl-helmets
Possibly. Green has already acknowledged that if his wife goes into labor -- which he noted would probably be that weekend if the doc's prediction is accurate -- he'll miss the game.
If not, though, then yep, he'll definitely be a factor. It will be like Week 16 of last season, except they'll have Dalton this time (and be playing at home). They won't have Marvin Jones or Sanu anymore, but they've got this new WR, Tyler Boyd, who's at least getting some preseason hype. Also, they'll be running a new offensive scheme, so there's no telling how long it takes the offense to get comfortable with it.
Basically, it should be a good game!
I kinda got you :) http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/den/ (second video). It looks like the DB reads Sanchez and breaks off so I will say he might have stared down his receiver which would be an issue but the other two covering are behind Bennie on his route so if the DB doesnt break off it is either a completion or a bit of an overthrow
You can use Privacy to make a one-time use credit card so that it doesn't resubscribe you in a year when you inevitable forget haha. I use Privacy for situations like this where I don't want it to auto-renew.
Full disclosure, the link is my referral link. But I genuinely love this service and recommend it to everyone. It's a godsend for free trials and stuff like this where you don't want things to renew automatically.
So if /r/nflstreams isn't enough or doesn't have a HQ stream listed here is how you do it on a PC:
Make sure your browser has an ad blocker, I prefer UBlock Origin.
Download Acestream and install.
Go to Arena Vision and go to the Guide page.
Scroll through the list until you find the game you want, it will have a channel assigned to it like 30.
In the drop down menu at the top find your channel and open it.
Don't bother with the in-browser video, you want to click on the Acestream link. It's at the bottom right, looks like a blue traffic cone. Click on it and accept the prompt to open Acestream.
Acestream will take a minute or so to get connected to the stream but after that you'll be watching in full HD with no stuttering or artifacts. Last season I watched every Broncos game this way while living in rural Missouri.
I do this to watch on my PC, but not my TV. There are ways to make it work on a TV too, but it's more complicated.
You will still need a way to stream the channel that the game is broadcast on, but VPN will let you get around the regional restrictions. Can you stream FOX with your YoutubeTV? Otherwise if you can find someone with traditional cable or Direct TV and share their online login. Most peeps watch on their TV and don't use the online streaming anyways.
I've used both ExpressVPN and Surfshark. I set my location to Denver in the VPN. Then stream FOX, ABC or whatever on my PC.
I got it as a gift, but you can usually find them on Amazon:
Fake gps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lexa.fakegps
I'm running Vanilla Android 9 on a Pixel XL. Turn on Dev options, set fake GPS to be a location app, run fake GPS and select the location and hit start, open maps to make sure the location takes, then open YouTube tv
I realize that spending more money won't make you happy, but a three month subscription to Private Internet Access costs $14.95 in the US. It works on Win10. I've used it on my PC, iPad and iPhone and have had to switch countries at times to get around GamePass blackouts in specific countries. You can turn off PIA as soon as you log in if you are seeing slower speeds and as long as you stay connected you should be OK. The three months will get you through the Super Bowl if you need that.
Also if you are not in these areas like I am. I recommend "Preseason Live" which is only $15 with promo code "directv". It allows you to watch all 65 games live or on demand.
If you don't want to give up $15 use a VPN + Gamepass. Kepard is a good VPN service as it is free.
I have that one, and the orange with same D on it. Both the legit Elway gen hats.
For anyone who wants:
OTS NFL Denver Broncos Legacy Challenger Adjustable Hat, One Size, Royal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077SVQP6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mKUnBb7C8B3E0
Orange one out of stock on Amazon. Seller was Fanzz, and hat name was NFL Denver Broncos '47 brand clean up.
The orange version came with a bill slightly skewed, but seller sent me a second one free and it was put together correctly.
Watch this. Denver Broncos: The Complete History
Just a heads up I found it on Amazon
They definitely edited it down somewhat -- but it is the closest to full broadcast and highest quality that I have been able to see.
Here is the DVD I have with those other broadcasts. There really isn't much missing that I can tell from my memory of the first two SBs.
I don't own it, but there is this.
EDIT: Sorry, I thought they had blu ray and digital download.
its from the Switch UI icon pack for android devices, specifically Nova Launcher.
