Everybody has pretty much pointed out the reasons why this wouldn't work that well. I have an expensive ebike and I used to have an actual gps tracker for it that would alert me by text message if theres any movement and allow me to see the location on my app but they went out of business. I have had these stickers on my ebike since I got it. It's better than nothing. Sometimes when I'm parked and I can see my bike and people walking by they kind of jump back when they see the sticker as they are checking out my bike lol of course actual theives may or may not care but buttom line is to not leave it unattended for an extended period of time it's the only effective method. Nothing is fool proof.

I just have it attached on the steer tube. Another cool feature (at least I thought) it has a fall detect when it is off, so if I end up running off the side of the road maybe someone will hear the alarm and come get my body.
This is the schwinn cargo cart on Amazon it is just under a C-note so IMO good deal and well built and it folds up flat, to store and take places like camping. FYI they also make kid and pet carts as well. it is designed for a bike and there was only one small mod I had to do to make it fit on the 10x. There is a bracket that mounts to the port aft wheel where you attach and detach the cart, it looks like this. the only issue is the slot in that bracket is smaller that the stock nut on the 10x. The stock nut has a shoulder on it which makes the circumference of that nut larger than the relief in that bracket for the nut and locking washer. So I went to my local hardware store, and purchased a M10 split locking nut and most importantly a M12 size nut (got to love metric) with most importantly a 1.25 pitch thread, that is what the threads are on the axle of the wheel. All you have to do is remove your stock nut, put on the bracket, put the new nut on, tighten it down, make sure the bracket is level to ground like you do when it is on a bike. Boom, Bob's your uncle, there you go, you can now safely get a couple cases of beer back home with your scooter, easy peasy.

Let me know if you have any questions.

BTW with the cart on, the scooter rode great, you just need to be aware of the trailer length, just like when you are towing a trailer on a car, you need to take wide turns when towing.
Best
Oh no, it was stock like any other. What I bought yellow / white reflective and yellow cable protectors, you can find those in amazon:

It has a built in light, usb charging, can act as a charger for phone etc.
No batteries- rechargeable
First try stripped socket head cap screw extractors like these: https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-62900-Extractor-Set/dp/B0002NYBIM Make sure to use the right size and hammer that thing in there hard. T If those don't work, cut a slot with a dremel cutoff wheel and use a large flat head screw driver.
Purchased: Chicken, pumpkin pie, five pack lettuce, Baybell cheese, and bananas
Chicken went into the front basket (amazing accessory). Bananas also went in the basket. Lettuce went into a 45l backpack as did the cheese, and pumpkin pie went on the deck
You have to be strategic if you want to pull this off. Can’t impulse buy. Also. You don’t have to search for parking. All you need is a sign post to lock up the scooter. In n out in under 20 minutes
This basket only works if you have a bicycle style stem. It needs a handlebar stem to brace the bag from swaying backwards
Link to the basket, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VC31K25/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_E1DW708GX0D495D6CFHA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I would highly recommend an automatic tire pump. The small tires on scooters are difficult to keep at an exact tire pressure. With the automatic pumps, you simply set the desired pressure, attach it and press a button.
It's a cool setup but I personally think a backpack thermal bag like the one in the link below would be better purely because I think you'll get less movement from your body than you will on the handle bars which you have to turn or move often. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07GFS77BP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_7TTA53X90G1JZ6GKJPNQ
> You can get gps units that run on up to 100v on Aliexpress,
If you're going that route, why not splice in a long distance RF relay inline from the motor controller to your control interface (the screen/throttle assembly) and cut off the V^(in). This will kill the scooter on command and the thief is more likely to abandon it out of utter confusion. It's going to be a pain in the ass for the mugger to carry a dead scooter to sell off for parts.
Some of the wireless switches have a theoretical range of ~1000ft (300m), so likely about ~500ft (150m) after accounting for the body of the scooter blocking some of the signal. So you'll have about ~20 seconds to respond ignoring acceleration at a continuous rate of 15mph (24kmh) to disable it from a car keyfob sized assembly that can sit in your pocket. Just hide out for the time being after disabling it and recover the abandoned scooter.
The Ninebot Max G30 is $650 Link on Groupon
I would pass on the G30LP..smaller deck, shorter handlebar, and no builtin charger.
Probably because protective gloves don't need to be completely re-invented for scooters? Motorcycle gloves work perfectly, I don't understand this whole thread honestly.

This is what I wear: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FT5ZVRJ
On my slower scooter (max 15) mph I wear this helmet.. On my faster scooter (max 25mph) I wear this helmet. Although if I was to go back I'd get a helmet with a jaw guard for my slower scooter because riding in the streets are dangerous.
This is what I use everywhere and is essentially armor-Dilloz but 5x less cost. I actually have purchased Dilloz as well, for reference.

Gotrax is pre-slimed, but they don’t add much. I would add half the amount as usual of the flat out. I’ve used it in my m365s, Gotrax, 10X, bike trailers, etc.
For getting grocery & food you don't get a normal backpack. You get a food delivery backpack.

Could work. Could also set the charging port on fire. I think most likely the buck converter will burn out after a few tries. From the reviews they get hot easily and that 12vdc car heater/boiler will pull near it's limit immediately.

a good U-lock, like a cryptonite and a bike alarm like these: (there are tons of them on amazon)
You can get a carrying strap , to help you eventually distribute the weight and will make it easy to carry. Something like this link below.
"Porto, Portugal" 😂
we drove with the car all around spain and portugal a few years ago and when we stopped in Lissabon some guy came to our car and told us in broken english, so we are not 100% sure what he meant, that we can park there safely until 1 p.m. - but we should definetly leave at 1 p.m. because then "bad people" would come and break into our car! 😂
needless to say we had no problems with "bad people" whatsoever in Portugal - but in south spain someone broke into our car a few days later and took all our things :(
so back to topic:
on top of the lock you should also attach a bike alarm to your scooter, so even if someone starts messing with your lock or your scooter, this alarm will go off very loudly and alert everyone who is nearby - I guess most thieves will just run away by then!
I mean something like this, they are all over amazon:
Not as common as mounted side mirrors, but I've used a wrist mirror (literally looks like a large watch) for months without issues - doesn't have to be hard mounted, which means you can use it with any ride you have, and it's not sticking out like antlers :)
Pretty much this: https://www.amazon.com/SEALEN-Bike-360%C2%B0Rotation-Adjustable-Mirror/dp/B07BK1F4NK/
Edit: I've worn this over jackets without issue either.

ILM is a respected company and I personally love their hybrid helmet so far. DOT approved so it's safe too.
Easily worth the price for the protection.
You'll need a smaller profile valve extender, like this one
https://www.amazon.com/AUTOHAUX-Screw-Extension-Extender-Adapter/dp/B07V6VM6KZ/
I bought the Smith Optics Express. I live in NYC and while the safer route would be a full face helmet, I chose this, it is discreet, has a light in the back and doesn't call any attention to you like somebody riding a scooter with a full face helmet would.
I used a large clamp, 2 small sections of 2x4, and 2 large tire spoons I picked up from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O8RWI6K
Honestly I had it on there in about 5 minutes, took me longer to clean the rim up as it was sent back in to have it's bluetooth module fixed and apparently at some point someone filled the front tire with slime. I wire brushed it all clean before putting the new honeycomb tire on.
Microwaved the tire for about 1 - 2 minutes and then clamped it on one side using the 2x4s to protect the rim and a large clamp down on it. If the clamp is at the 6 o'clock position, I put the spoons at 10 and 2 and just pried it right in place. Helps to have larger all metal spoons to get the leverage. Then I just went around with my screwdriver through the holes on the tire to center and seat it properly.

I bought it off Amazon, it's an easy apply vinyl that stick to any surface, metal etc. if you get it make sure to buy the 15" one that's the size that fits perfect. You will have to cut it with scissors ✂️ and apply it correctly (very easy to do)
My bell broke within the first day, replaced it with a cheap but better bell.
Also added this horn - https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Invisible-Waterproof-Handlebar-22-31-8mm/dp/B0778S7RR9/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Ytuomzi&qid=1619642421&sr=8-7
The light is nice and small and the "fog light" function is nice as a daytime running light.
Most 36v to 60v electric scooters use 120-150w (2-3A) AC wall chargers. So using a small 200-300W (12VDC->110VAC) inverter would do it !!
I think you could also use a DC DC Step Up Voltage Converter with Adjustable Power, instead of the included AC wall charger, but I would need confirmation from someone with better e-scooter or e-bike charging knowledge...
I’d buy a storage bag to carry it, keeps you and the classroom clean and hopefully cuts down on the curiosity and / or teasing. Carry your charger in case you forget to top it off at home (or room). Hopefully you can find a spot in the lecture hall to plug it in.
Something like this: lamaki:lab E-Scooter Bag Storage Cover Heavy Duty Transport Bag Foldable Stylish for Xiaomi Mijia M365 Pro, Ninebot ES1 / ES2 Electric Scooter 115x45x50 cm / 45x18x20 in https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R858SX4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_M13AJRENY5PGG9YKMQ83
I ride my 15 mph scooter in heavy urban traffic all the time. Stick to roads with bicycle lanes when able. Use a ton of safety lights at dawn, dusk and night as well as turn signals and a helmet. If you get to a really hairy intersection or a bridge crossing, Get off and walk it as a pedestrian. The only reason I’d really like to up to 25 mph for is hills and when Uber, Lyft , taxis, or delivery trucks double park and block the bike lane and I need to merge into the road lane to pass it.
Here’s a great cheap turn signal you can clip on to any backpack or jacket.

Put in the required amount and spin your tire 10-20 times. Then pump up your tire and the tube will be sealed—unless the puncture is huge. If it is a normal puncture, then this will seal it.
Get replacement tubes only for when tire sealant stops working or the hole is too big to seal.
Use the FlatOut in all your tubes on everything you have (except cars).
I have four scooters (biggest is 10X) and I haven’t worried about flat tires ever.
weird ... but tbh that lock was useless anyway .. it would unlock after some time by itself when the scooter just turned itself off, or you could just disconnect the dash and connect again ...
if you want to fast lock it and are too lazy for an actual bike lock, I would suggest one of this bike alarms like this:
they are super cheap and super loud and work great, I have one on each of my scoots ... when I just leave it outside a shop or something while I buy something, I only lock it with these and don't bother with an actual lock ...
I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088NP16SS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works great and is very compact. Fits very well into my bag with my Slime and other scooter accessories I carry on me.
Wow, I am glad you were able to walk away from that without serious injury. This also happened to me about two weeks ago but I was going at 20mph, fortunately I was wearing a full face helmet and walked away with light scars.
I lost 3 of those 4mm Allen Key bolts and ordered this from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F75DMHF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The kit above has the female screws that you can use to reinforce the bond between the neck (connector) and main body. If you plan on putting it back together I also recommend using blue threadlocker before putting it back together. You can find it at a auto parts store.
Unfortunately this happens due to importing regulations. From what I was told the bolts are loose due to screening before shipment.
I use this pair I bought from Amazon for my Dualtron 3. The Speedway 5 should have similar handlebar space. They work very well and the mirrors seem to be high quality.

Yes, works great! It took me a couple tries coz Amazon has some not so great stuff here and there, but all I had to do for this one was put some electrical tape on it so it didn't swivel in the wind and it's been perfect!

I have this one on my Ninebot Max. Is super bright and has a great headlight pattern to it, so you can adjust it to illuminate your path without blinding others. Also can be simultaneously used as a power bank so you could charge your phone with it while riding.
Found the exact model.. looks like no brand? It has GP on it..maybe GP = Groupon
> Most of the routes that I take, on multi-use paths and along canals, wouldn’t even be included on GPS.
I can highly recommend Komoot, it's specifically designed to route you through those types of paths, and you can customize the type it prioritizes. While it's mostly meant for bicyclists, it works rather well with electric scooters as well. Even though I though I knew the areas around where I live, Komoot knew of all kinds of neat forest paths and shortcuts I had never even thought about.
They have an online route planner where you can test it out.
If I had a do over I'd probably go with a Hiboy S2 Pro Electric Scooter, 10" Solid Tires, 25 Miles Long-range & 19 MPH
So glad I changed over to solid rubber tires. It's slightly stiffer but not having the worry of a popped tire is priceless!

Also, I think what you've got there is a Luyuan PB710 that would take batteries like this.
(I don't actually know anything about these, I just excel at research)
I had one of these fitted to my Apocalypse as part of its customization:

the other guy already posted the US link ...
Here's the one I use. It's been with me through 5 scooters and 1 ebike lol! Still holding strong!
I don't know why people keep saying this, but it's not true that the lock disengages when you disconnect bluetooth! You can turn off your phone or leave all right, the lock stays on, but it's pretty pointless anyway, because all it does is prevent the rear wheel from turning and after 3 hours the scooter shuts down by itself and when starting it again the lock is gone ;)
If you really have to lock it up somewhere use a really good U-lock, like a Cryptonite and a bike alarm like these (there's tons of them on amazon, cheap and very effective!)
so, if someone starts messing with your scooter or the lock, this alarm will go off emmidiatly, and it's insanely loud!
I bought a pair of these: https://www.amazon.com/Bobster-Phoenix-Interchangeable-Goggles-Lenses/dp/B001C5O9P4 ... but they had a habit of fogging up whenever I came to a stop, in cold weather, so I found this:
... actually, it appears it's no longer available. Couldn't find it on the site where I bought it, but it was referred to as their Super Protective Face Shield - Not Sealed. Basically, a contoured face shield that covered the entire face. Also available with a silicone seal, to fill the gap. Or was available. Shame. Didn't fog up around the eyes, and kept the cold wind off my face last Winter, so no issue with my eyes watering. If you're concerned about bugs, I discovered a face mask helps keep the breath warm, and the bugs out. Very first time I wore one on my scoot, I got hit near the mouth by a large beetle, just a few seconds after taking off. Mask kept me from eating bug. Find a pair of anti-fog goggles, and a face mask that covers the cheeks (like mine), and that could work for you.
I got these from Amazon, they work well enough for the price point. They do fog up a bit when stationary sometimes but once you're riding the vents clear it out.
Thanks - so it's a pin not a screw?
If I just needed the pin this would be it?
I use this on one side. I don't have both installed. I really or rarely use it. When i ride i have to be looking forward 99% of the time because of traffic. Glancing down it the same as a full head turn. If you're in an area where you don't need to look forward without fear of death then mirrors work.
I'm going to be honest, I have an Apollo Ghost and I don't go past 2nd Gear and pretty much have stuck to around 20-28mph range tops. I'm in NYC and I take the bike paths, bike lanes, and street traffic. I wear a normal helmet, knee and elbow pads and motorcycle gloves. I don't wear a full-face helmet because it's just drawing attention and implying you are riding something that shouldn't be on the path. I ride low key and I ride as if no one can see me, yet everyone is trying to get me...... so super defensive..... New York style. Now if you plan on riding a little buck-wild and plan on taking some chances, I'd wear a full-face. I recently bought a nice low-key Iron & Resin jacket that has CE level 1 shoulder and elbow armor and CE level 2 back armor and I'll wear that once it gets cooler, but my helmet is a regular non-descript urban biking helmet that's MIPS certified. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B093D1KPFK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Giro helmets come in extra large, and they are actually big.
I have the Giro fixture in XL.
It comes down pretty far in the back to offer a bit more protection. But the giro register also had some reviews saying it was actually XL.

You can get a little plastic grocery hook, that screws on to the stem, below the handlebars, like this: https://www.amazon.com/Glodorm-Ninebot-Scooter-Accessories-Electric/dp/B08B4YFMQB/
This was the first upgrade I ever did to my first scooter. Can hang 3 or 4 grocery sacks if needed. When getting takeout, need to remember to bring a grocery bag. Works great!

Also look up cycl winglights
I saw this brand on Amazon and they had a few different models. Is there a specific one you recommend I was looking at one that was around ~100 dollars. I was looking at these
Some do, some don't. Some have them etched/engraved, others use a sticker, ones with apps usually report some serial number through that as well.
Hiding something is a good step, but it doesn't really help recovery as you need visible evidence for that. Do what bicycle manufacturers do, get a letter punch kit and hammer the serial number somewhere visible where it can't be sanded away. And then customize it as much as you can so that it can't blend in - add stickers, accents, accessories, custom parts etc - if the point is to sell, nobody would dare to steal something like this.
I found one on Amazon for my MAX, I have to use it every time I get on the bus because escooters aren’t allowed on them. This one is 127cm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083Q5XB54/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Y91HFQGV0WGWD49PFTTY
I added the cat eye headlight as it is 1100 lumens. It comes with front, rear and side lights on the deck. They look cool but the front lights do not light up far enough ahead…

Yeah it's heavy but it works so amazingly well. Btw, you don't need the cable & that'll reduce some of the weight. It does come with a u-lock mount that you can attach to your scooter or bike.
I added the upgraded clamp. Replaced the crap included bell for a better one from the dollar store.
Also added this horn - https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Invisible-Waterproof-Handlebar-22-31-8mm/dp/B0778S7RR9/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Ytuomzi&qid=1619642421&sr=8-7
The light is nice and small and the "fog light" function is nice as a daytime running light.
Mine had come loose too. I was told that it's an M5x12mm set screw but haven't actually got around to replacing it yet. Something like this should work https://www.amazon.com/10-M5-0-80-12mm-Stainless-MonsterBolts/dp/B07955G1P6
I have ordered this one for my Ghost.
Still waiting for it though.
I have also used these for a year
They work well enough and the mounts are rock solid but are not TIR lenses like the Victagen.
That thing is literally the antithesis of my scooter. Or literally like 5 of them.
So you got a 150 pound beast, live upstairs and don’t have access to an elevator ? You need a garage or shed. Hate to say it but that is not conducive to your living arrangements
All I can think of is a Dolly or heavy duty straps to lift up the front or back end and pull it up the stairs on a wheel.
Maybe you can attach some heavy duty Dolly pull wheels on it .
Only other wild idea I got is to essentially turn it into a wheelbarrow. Fold it and pull it behind you on one wheel while you lift it up with two poles to give a mechanical lever advantage. You’d need to use metal wrap hose clamping and or bolts to mount a metal pipe each of the sides of the foot deck. They should be as long as the deck. Then run 2 smaller diameter poles through those that are twice as long to be your “wheelbarrow arms”. All 4 poles wood need bolt holes in them so you can run bolts through them when telescoped to keep the long poles in place. Then you basically have a wheelbarrow to lug up the stairs.

10 x 2.125 not the exact ones they came with but angled stem and they seem alright. Like I said I didn’t use the new ones. I just patched the old one. Either way you’ll have to take the rim plate off to remove the tire and get to the inner tube. Several screws be sure to be as careful as possible with the screws and mind the brakes. I have disc brakes and I think I bent the rotor a bit.
This is a lot of overcomplicated stuff for a simple issue.
As recommended by the OEM (titan group) - I purchased a helicoil installation kit. I was able to redrill the holes and use helicoils to adapt them to the m5 size. My kickstand is now good as new for a repair that took 5 minutes.

Let me know if you have any questions. I guarantee this will be easier - and provides a permanent solution without adding a bracket.
I used this handlebar extension : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B074XBG7P2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm not gonna lie, it was a pain to install (45 minutes) because the vsett handlebar is not straight...
I like the folding handlebar however, it slightly unscrew itself during ride. But fixing and tightning the extension to it fixed this problem somehow !
If your scooter is between 36 and 60V and if you can read battery pack voltage from the charging port, you can use an XY-L10A Charge Controller Board. It will be connected between your charger and your scooter's charging port. You can then set the low voltage (when the module will activate) and the high voltage (when you want it to stop). For a 48V scooter that should be around 51.5V (80% SOC). Here is a picture of mine used with my Mantis.
Don't let them sell you on replacing the pads when it's time . I believe the Kaboos use Nutt brakes. The pads are super easy to swap and are fairly cheap on Amazon.

Good luck. Hope they get you back scooting soon.
Sick build!! I am looking to get a monorim rear suspension on my scoot
A couple of mods that I think would fit perfectly on yours:
For turn signal visibility I have a Lumos helmet and before that I rocked this signal placard that clips onto your bag or clothing. I wouldn’t leave it overnight but after watching a lot of lockpick lawyer and balancing size / weight/cost for runs into a shop (especially during the day or locked up at the railings up front) I feel this is a good balance. There’s a chunkier version if you want something thicker but I don’t see someone taking an angle grinder to a lock right at a store entrance.
The mini 5 won’t fit most scooters. This one is small enough to prevent going over the deck.
Make sure you have a look at how to lock with a u lock.
Hope that helps!
I've been using both a Kryptonite U-lock and a disc brake padlock (alarm).

Haven't had any issues so far. Though the padlock alarm is a bit sensitive and if I fiddle with it too long, I accidently set it off myself.
I used these on my Fold's rear deck plate:
Given the "vibe" I'm getting from your pic, I think they'd be a nice touch.
I have my eye on one of these:
I shop with a pair of backpacks hung on the bars... never had any issues with either my Apocalypse or my Fold, but then, their stems are rock solid. No "breaks" to accommodate a folding mechanism. But still, you have options others have mentioned. Always can sling one on your back, another strapped to the deck.

Idk where you are but at least in my section of the US it's considered rude. Well not totally. They way you describe it with using headphones in public spaces when not on the scooter honestly probably would have stopped a few people from um "angry posting" (? Lol)
That simple fact that you know to turn off your speakers on public transportation makes you fantastic.
I know you say it's illegal where you are but here's what I use for music while riding https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RRQ59JR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KcOOFbQRFD7WQ I've posted it a few times now but idk if it could ever be of use to you.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RRQ59JR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KcOOFbQRFD7WQ Here you go. They are fantastic. You can hear everything around you mixed in with music or notifications or audio. But you stay spatially aware of your surroundings.
Sorry to hear about your experience. My packaging was good and the manual is included. Everything looks great, though I haven't taken it outside at all. I only made sure it's working, since I intend to sell it. They DID send me the European charger, but I purchased an adapter from Amazon, which should work fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NND600/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've never been burned by a transaction on Amazon. Maybe it's because I've been a Prime subscriber for years, and/or it's their A-to-Z Guarantee, but I've always got refunded on returns, or the one or two times I ever had a dispute with a third-party seller, Amazon always sided with me or refunded me anyway.
I say give it a go, and if you don't like it, return it within the permitted timeframe.
And, just in case you weren't aware, the original version just started on a Lightning deal right now for $297.
Looks to be a 36v contoller for a 400w rear motor. Very common controller.
They are all over AliExpress and Amazon.
Here, this one has a diagram. Connectors may differ, but functionality should be the same.
Hi! It’s this one: Bike Handlebar Extender Lamp... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RTW791X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Keep in mind that it does not fit perfectly. I’m currently using it to keep the red fasteners on the handlebars stiff, since I don’t have really anything to put on it.

Use this for my dualtrons and it works great
For small trips, I just use a back pack. You can get pretty large insulated backpacks like food delivery people use and I bet you can carry a lot of groceries.
I also just stroll in the store with my scooter, helmet still on my head. Nobody has said anything about it so far.
I like my Hiboy S2. It's 350W, unlike most scooters at its price range (~$400) which are 250W. Top speed of 18 mph and solid battery life. Plus it's actually in stock, which is nice
