I voted Juggernaut to help differentiate the names.
Titan, Behemoth, and Colossus are all basically direct synonyms for Goliath, and don't say much to separate them other than "yo it's big". Juggernaut implies more than just size, like its some kind of unstoppable force.
Actually, Take Two Interactive (owners of 2K) have commented on the future of Evolve a bit. In an earnings statement back in May, T2 said, "We expect Evolve to be a key long-term franchise for 2K." The game was profitable and they have a lot invested in this IP already. I'd say a sequel or F2P-esque model are a certainty at some point.

Judging by the Trello board, it doesn't look like the aftershock rework will be coming out tomorrow, but who knows, they might move it over later today or tomorrow morning.
https://trello.com/b/D8JlQGll/evolve-stage-2-feature-bug-roadmap
EDIT: They changed the Trello board to include a couple new perk sets!
The Devs know it's not a great system. They are looking into other ways to make unlocking colors possible!
> On Badge Colors We understand your frustration, and ask that you hang tight! We've got some stuff in the works that are going to enable giving away and unlocking more of these. We have a lot of things you can unlock, but since Stage 2 hasn't been out that long, they haven't all been available for unlock/giveaway/purchase/etc. right away.
and even more recent
> Psssst... check out the trello board https://trello.com/b/D8JlQGll/evolve-stage-2-feature-bug-roadmap6 we are working on a new way to unlock badge colors now. It's kind of hidden but it's on the board, not saying how exactly, in case some people like surprises.
Please be patient!
Well if you look at the trello: https://trello.com/b/D8JlQGll/evolve-stage-2-feature-bug-roadmap
You can see that Wraith and Behemoth have an adaptation listed in "To Do", along with another Assault, Trapper, Support and Medic adaptation. But no adaptations are currently being actively worked on.
Meanwhile vanilla Behemoth is still with the balance team. So we'll get them at some point in the near future, but the Shear Madness event was about dropping 3 hunter and 3 map adaptations. Now that it's effectively over, we might be on a bit of a cooldown before the next one drops?
Not my work but: https://trello.com/b/XYcu8Xor/coach-bearly-s-evolve-perk-sets
Perks stack additiviely (eg 10% capacity and 20% capacity makes you at 30%).
There are two types of reload: actual reload, which effects your first three abilities. Then there's leadership and command, which reduces the cooldown on your class ability (healburst, shield burst, defense matrix, and planet scan).
Teir lists don't matter until you get very good. Some are easier to win or lose with, but that's more a skill thing. For example, bad laz is one of the worst things in the game but a great laz can be very powerful.
People in parties can't get monster, so if all 4 are in a party then you will get monster.
this site is a pretty reliable source to determine if your pc can handle a certain game or not
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
it checks your pc's specs and then gives you an estimate of the game's minimal & recommended requirements
It goes live at 9am PDT, see @Sijuvabienn's counter for an exact time.
(Clock from Sijuv, copied and pasted for convenience.)
I hadn't used them, but after my group started hearing about it more, we all switched to it for about a week. We could fly like...tinkerbell. It was amusing as Hyde.
Also as seen in this link this is a pro team coach's perk set? Something like that. And here you can see the team comp called fairydust. The healer and support take tinkerbell and fly around healing each other and others while the monster has a hard time focusing. Imagine it on a R.Val and a Hank. So I think the nerf was more for team play.
Depends on your attitude and expectations. I expected Evolve to succeed and grow as a game. If you follow the graphs right here you could either say 'I don't care' or 'I care'. I, for myself, care.
From certain places (steam included) you will get some bonuses by preordering. The bonuses are an extra skin for the Goliath, and you will get the dlc with the 4th monster for free when it comes out.
If it isn't a priority for you to play the game when it comes out, you can wait for an upcoming steam sale, but i don't see this game getting below a 15% off until christmas maybe.
You can also preorder from gmg, where you can get it slightly cheaper, and should still get the preorder bonus
Personally I am thinking about buying my copy from G2A though, since it is much cheaper, but if you buy from them you won't receive the preorder bonuses, and will have to pay for it when it becomes available. But I am hoping that the difference in price will add up, so I can buy the DLC and maybe still end up saving some money in the long run.
Hope this helped :)
Hey there. If you have an Nvidia graphics card I would suggest using Nvidia ShadowPlay. It's what I use for recording.
If you don't, I would suggest using FFsplit. It's a better alternative to Xsplit.
For both of these you'll probably have to tweak some settings and do some finagling but oh well.
I'm pretty sure that is not true at all, as long as 2K is still Evolve's publisher.
Here is an Evolve key from Amazon on sale by 2K.
Someone posted like 4 days ago that amazon is selling game keys for 40 bucks. Not sure if they took it down or sold out but I bought one 3 days ago and it worked. Downloaded the game and played for 5-6 hours no issues.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HQPUWBO/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A3ODHND3J0WMC8&psc=1
I'm used to playing on xbox so sorry if I mess any terminology up. I bought a physical unopened PC copy of Legacy Evolve on Amazon (I Just checked and they are sold out now). In the box is a serial key for the game. I downloaded Steam, put in my serial key and it allowed me to download Stage 2. Didn't even have to search for the game on steam, the key automatically worked.
https://www.amazon.com/Evolve-PC/dp/B00HQPUWBO?th=1 40 dollars for one on amazon I looked for other places to buy one but they all seem to be out of stock
This.
If you have a key, redeem the key in the play store. closed betas/alphas never appear in the stores.
Known Issue:

https://trello.com/c/u96LdbJK/66-evolve-animation-stutters-so-you-cannot-evolve
Last update on it was about a month ago. They haven't started working on this bug yet, but it is in their queue.
These two tasks sum up what's wrong:
I'm not implying that the persons working on them are interchangeable, on the contrary I've already stated elsewhere that TRS doesn't have a level designer supporting Stage 2 any more.
But it illustrates the problem nicely: players want maps, not variations. TRS delivers...an artificial incentive to play the thing players don't want...
>Is there really a matchmaking system based on something like Elo rating? Is there a way to have a balanced matchmaking without having to just play custom games with friends?
I bet this is their long-term matchmaking plan. I think the current system was a quick fix for long queue times.
If you preordered the game, you will get the behemoth, which is a part of the Monster Expansion Pack, containing Behemoth and the magma skins for monsters.
But no, Behemoth is not a part of the Hunting Season Pass. This DLC bundle is really just very poorly named, since it's not a season pass, but simply a bundle of 4 hunters that we don't know a lot of details about yet.
It seems like G2A sells keys for the monster expansion pack very cheap though, if you didn't preorder the game.
He didn't pre order so he doesn't have the monsters expansion, he will still get the new monster at release for free though. By the way if he still wants the pre order bonuses you can buy them for 0.55 cents at g2a.
Here's a link: https://www.g2a.com/evolve-monster-expansion-pack-dlc-steam-cd-key-global.html
How does a site like greenmangaming work for aussies? If it's good, then you could make a user there, go under the VIP section (I believe all users have that section?). All versions of the game are 23% off there. I bought the PC Monster Race Edition for like $67 by buying it from them.
Otherwise, I guess you could buy a global key from G2A
Go here and run the test then show us your specs to help you, Or try this canyourunit? test to see for yourself. Complicated so do the first one.
I'd just like to report back, we had a FANTASTIC time with the PC Battlefy. You can scope the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/superbadjuju/v/56784127
Congrats to Nice Little Advantage on taking home the win along with the Neptune Kraken skin!
Big thanks to all the teams, players and viewers who came out to support Evolve and the competitive scene!
https://trello.com/b/D8JlQGll/evolve-stage-2-feature-bug-roadmap
So far the only thing they've fixed is fissure bugging out, rock wall is still bugged and tongue grab is in progress getting fixed so it doesn't bug out. Maybe you only run fissure lava bomb since those are the only 2 reliable skills? Lava bomb is terrible right now though.
> Now to my actual concern: In original Evolve you could do something like a Multiplayer campaign comprising five missions. There were three other game mods than Hunt: Save/Kill survivors, destroy/hatch monster eggs, and the last mission was always a Moba like mod, with a lane and monster minions, towers and gates which the monster must destroy until the monster reaches the Nexus (Base). After every mission the side who won, gained an advantage in the next mission. The advantage depended on the map, there was a medical facility, when the monster won, there the facility exploded and medical tanks investigated the next map and exploded there, where plants grew which the monster could eat to gain health. If the hunters won, they could have used the tanks for themselves.
As far as we know, the other modes from Legacy might get reworked into the future iteration of the game. Though I doubt that they will focus on making them in the near future or at least during S2 Beta.
Things like more maps and map variants will become more of a thing though. So that the Evacuation effects do live on in Stage 2. :D
Roadmap on future features: https://trello.com/b/D8JlQGll/evolve-stage-2-feature-bug-roadmap
never bought it from that site. only used G2A or GMG. i did buy this game from someone on Neogaf for $30 bucks.
the problem with some of these sites is that you have to make sure if you're able to play it in your region.
for this game. you can not play RU or CIS copies of the game if you dont live on that region. some games will allow you to play anywhere but just need to use a VPN to activate it. but using a VPN is against TOS. so when buying keys, have to make sure its not play locked and or region locked.
if your buying the game from someone and its a steam gift. many steam gifts have a 30 day wait period in which they can be revoked but the user that has said gift can still trade it. so you have to be careful when buying steam gifts as well as keys.
for this game just make sure its a US or ROW key.
you can always check steamdb.info and find the game then click package tab.
this link is of the game and as you can see. cant cross region trade this game so dont buy that claims to have it as a steam gift (unless you are located in the same area) https://steamdb.info/sub/56518/
here is the rus/cis version. this key cant be used in the USA or other region (other than the rus/cis regions listed. https://steamdb.info/sub/57118/
just keep your eyes out and if its to good to be true, it probably is.
60 bucks is a bit steep, you're right. I usually don't get games directly off steam, aside from their big sales. I got mine from G2A, it's much cheaper and I've never had any issues; it's legit.
https://www.g2a.com/r/evolve_pc I found a coupon for 5% off, code GAE.
I highly recommend using this site if you're looking for discounts. Right now you can use a voucher code (SAVE23-PEROFF-MOSANT) on Green Man Gaming to get 23% off of anything, the $100 package included. That drops it down to $77, and the code you get activates on steam.
I've never tried buying games from an out of region seller, such as from Brazil (to take advantage of the currency exchange rate).
I recommend using Open Broadcasting Software for recording on PC.
It's broadcasting software, but it also supports recording and does it really well.
It has support for nVidia hardware encoding, so it's the same impact and quality as shadowplay when used with an nvidia video card only with a lot more options (ShadowPlay basically has no options at all).
With the hardware encoding turned on, I notice nearly no impact on my FPS (unlike programs like Fraps, which heavily impact performance).
And the best thing: It's completely free! No reason to not try it out.
I also have same question and need answer from official source
But my current guess is :
You have to download from 0 for the full release
Because it have different depot id (?)
Evolve Beta depot > https://steamdb.info/depot/203191/
(Probably) Evolve depot > https://steamdb.info/depot/331339/subs/
I may have found a solution to my own problem.
I use a program called f.lux which adjusts screen brightness depending on the time of day. It's important to me because I'm using a TV screen with my desktop and staring at a bright screen like this can be damaging on my eyes. Strange thing is, usually f.lux doesn't effect fullscreen applications. Also, while I was trying to fix my gamma problem, I even disabled f.lux thinking that it might be the issue. But the only way I could get it to stop was by completely exiting out of it, which is a shame.
I honestly don't know who is to blame for this problem, but I'll assume it's something that needs to be fixed on f.lux's end.
I have a feeling if a AAA game advertised itself and truly is complete on launch with no extra charges, it would do very well in today's market. It would be a breath of fresh air really. Being complete with no tricks, it would generate a ton of buzz I'm sure. More and more of us are getting tired of these extra monetary charges. Expansions with a variety of features for a reasonable price would be great to see again also. I know I can buy a 100% complete game within a previously released Bethseda game of the year edition like Fallout or Elder Scrolls. All apparel can be earned in the game.
If you want make more money with merchandising, I find this an acceptable alternative that truly does not affect the game - https://minecraft.net/store Check out that pickaxe bottle opener lol.
Personally - I find Evolve to be unaffordable at over $200. Do you any idea how many great older games I can get for that amount? And there is no point in waiting for a budget price, as by then the online will be gone. In an online focused game.
You can also give Quickscope Dot for Rainmeter a shot. Works similar to Custom Desktop Logo but it can auto-hide when the game isn't running. There shouldn't be any performance penalty if you have no problems with borderless fullscreen.
There is also Custom Desktop Logo. It's a pretty old program but should still work. I use this for Planetside 2. Here are some crosshairs as well.
Cryengine went fully free and sourcecode available. https://www.cryengine.com/get-cryengine
I don't know what licencing terms TRS committed to, or how much they modified the source coe that they don't want to let others see, but Steam Workshop support would be amazing

Here's my blog guys that I just started. I did an op ed this morning about DLC. Been trying to post it in the sub but it keeps vanishing. Hope you enjoy it!
I think I found it on Amazon, would you mind evaluation the following link to see if I found a good one?
Looks like it's physical so you'd have to wait for it to ship. Stores like Best Buy or Gamestop may also carry copies, but I couldn't tell you for how much. There's also CD key websites, but use those at your own risk.
If you are short on ram it could hinder the experience, yes. So can a slow processor. Just look at the system requirements on evolves steam page for a general idea. This looks cheap and would definitely run Evolve pretty well provided you don't have any bottlenecks: low processor/low ram. In the future if you need graphics related help, post your CPU, ram, AND GPU in your first post.
Amazon still has copies for like 10 bucks. Could also check Gamestops, other online retailers who are trustworthy. There's CD Key sites but some of them are sketchy and some are legit so I'd be careful with those.
Even after paying shipping you're probably going to unlock a lot more than what you'd get via gold key purchases.
Can't get it on steam, but I guess you could buy it on Amazon or something. https://www.amazon.com/Evolve-PC/dp/B00HKCITCC/ref=sr_1_1_twi_gam_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1468590387&sr=1-1&keywords=evolve
I guess the next question is: is 153.75k silver keys worth $15 dollars?
Technically, console players now have the same option, but with a different name. The Evolve Ultimate Edition. Includes everything that PCMR has got.
> This one if you got some money: Try to get a computer that can run the game on highest graphics, and get a full-HD monitor with 144hz. - this will significantly make it easier for you to spot Griffins sensors with your smell.
Yeah.. this is on my wish list. But realistically, it's not something I can afford for a while. I'm running 1440p on a 60 Hz monitor right now maxed out on my GTX 970. Looks great and good frame rate. But if I were to upgrade to 144 Hz, I couldn't give up my 1440p.
I don't own a PS4 myself, but from a quick seach it seems that the Tritton Karma headset would be a good option for a low budget.
It costs around $30 and should have good sound for the price, with a mic that'll definitely be better than what you're using right now.
I hope this helps you with your future monster hunting career! :)
If you can stand getting a physical copy, you can get it right now for 30 dollars. Here you go
Well if you look here http://www.amazon.com/Evolve-Pre-Load-Online-Game-Code/dp/B00HQPUWBO it says "With the Amazon Exclusive Instant Hunter Pack, jump start your game and get instant access to four additional hunters: Hyde the Assault, Griffin the Trapper, Lazarus the Medic, and Bucket the Support."
I don't really understand if these are tier 3 hunters or tier 4. These are obviously different characters than the 4 you get from the DLC, so i'm not really sure. Does everyone get these guys and amazon is just lying? how do I buy them separate? Are these the guys from the deluxe edition?
