If you can find more info on this edit, please do.
The art itself is from a BOOM! comic series titled <em>Damnation Crusade</em>.
H.G. Wells' "Little Wars" was a rulebook for one of the first tabletop wargames ever made, and its preface tells of the hilarious development of it. Project Gutenberg has the whole thing online, if you want to read it.
Book 8 of the HH Primarchs series is exclusively about him. There is also Scars, book 28 in the series.
And the Siege of Terra series is going to focus on him a lot. Remember the drive me closer meme, that's Jaghatai during the siege.
Note: Read right to left, aka in reverse order to a western comic
The rest of it if you want to see exactly what you need to immolate in the Emperor's holy fire. The rest is decidedly even more heretical than what you just saw
For those who don't know, this is what "Moe" is (aka purge your brain after reading this)
I recommend the Primarch book as a first read. It's cheaper, and shorter, so less a commitment if you don't like them.
Pulls out copy of The Gothic and The Eldritch
The modern Tyranid designs date from 1994. They weren't able to get the models to match them until later though. Starcraft came out in 1998.
EDIT - And they both stole pretty heavily from H.R. Giger.
LOLOL “three colors at once” got me. I have one but its mostly for priming and base coating. Fyi for anyone in the US you can get a brush and compressor for about 120 on amazon. brush is average but it will save you a LOT of time and is way more accessible than the iwata stuff.

*edit "So if the Earth Caste would just get their asses in gear and stopped fuckn around, we could have REALLY BIG GUNS that would make any Imperial Titan turn tail and run" - whatever absolute madlad thought it would be a good idea to make this unit.
Reddit seems left leaning (comparatively to your own) because the US is really far out right compared to most nations in the world, while remaining a world wide site. In most nations, what Americans call liberal would be deemed far right politics. And let's remember that the US has a somewhat "inflated" use of the words socialism and leftists. US users represent about 57% of Reddit. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/reddit.com
I don't think theres a conspiracy going on here buddy. You're likely just on the far right spectrum of things (and I dont mean to lump you in with those crazy trumpnazis in Ohio when I say that, I'm sure you're a great guy and all!)
If you're just painting then it doesn't really matter what you start with, just grab whatever looks fun.
Personally I'd probably go with this box, just because there's a good mini/$ ratio to get practice on.

I have no idea if they're "good" or not, but I think a good philosophy in 40k is "play what you have," so I'd just buy them paint them and play then regardless.
If you're brand new to painting I can recommend some great YouTube channels.
Midwinter Minis is great, he's awesome at doing reasonable quick table ready miniatures and explaining how he does it.
Sorastros is another great painter. He mostly does Star Wars Legion and Marvel Crisis Protocol, but he's still awesome to learn from.
If your want to get more artsy Squidmar is crazy good, but he's definitely more advanced tips and methods than beginner level.
I love painting and talking about painting, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
According to the original poster he has the same position as Robin, and that gesture is "punching air" rather than cat girl pose. :p

>IS TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER III GOING TO BE SET DURING THE END TIMES AND FEATURE STUFF FROM AGE OF SIGMAR?
>No, as with Total War: WARHAMMER and Total War: WARHAMMER II, Total War: WARHAMMER III is set around the reign of Karl Franz. Our primary source is Warhammer Fantasy Battles 8th Edition, although we have and will continue to use older editions for inspiration where appropriate.
> There's already Badab War books?
Oh like...10 years old now? I don't think they are sold anymore but here:
Nah, they will release it as is.
Only after a few months of community backlash, crushingly terrible online reviews, and general failure of the service, they will realize their mistake and cut the price of subscription in half. It will be a change just bearable enough that some people will pay for it, but still cost way too much for the majority of the fan base, so everyone will just use the free pirated versions that existed before their release anyway.
Well seeing how there are mods with guns and stuff like Red wars, Galaxy in Turmoil, and the Reckoning, it should be possible especially when someone did try to make a Warhammer 40k mod but he left it unfinished. https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-fourth-war-for-armageddon
Hammer's Slammers is a book series by David Drake, a pretty prolific military sci-fi and fantasy author. Worth checking out! Anything by Drake is, imo. He fought in Vietnam. His books don't hide or gloss over how war messes people up, Kinda always made me wonder what he saw in Vietnam.

Maybe this is beside the point, but while I agree with the Ork commentary here, I disagree about the shovel thing. Entrenching tools and one-piece shovels issued for tactical uses have a long history as close quarter weapons. It's been common ever since World War I for entrenching tools to be used in infantry combat. Depending on the environment (that is, if you have room to swing,) they can be far more effective than a knife or bayonet. It's common for soldiers to actually sharpen the edges of an e-tool or shovel to make it more effective.
^(*Yes, this is a fake one from Cold Steel, I just wanted to use a clear image without artistic environmental distractions, or obscured by being displayed still inside it's carry holster.)
Would this be something you would use in an infantry charge? No, that's what a bayonet is for. Would this be something you would use for sentry-removal duty? No, that's what a combat knife (or detachable, bladed bayonet,) is for. Yet, for desperate, hack and slash combat within a trench, bunker or ruined building, it would be hard to beat a sharp trench shovel.
Dont worry they also make a saturn

I'd like to dispute a few things about this one mostly the Blood of the Phoenix Box.
We or at least the Eldar players I know of didn't dismiss the Blood of the Phoenix box because Banshee's weren't OP in it. We/I called it out when the Warhammer Community site suggested it was a great jumping off point for Ynnari players while both HQ's in the box were illegal for Ynnari and it couldn't make a legal detachment of Ynnari to take making that just poor advertising.
We didn't buy it because we didn't believe it was worth the cost at release especially since several of the sculpts in it date back to 1996 (See Vyper and Falcon), Amazon still wants to sell it for £175~ /$230 (You might also notice it's not listed on Games-Workshop anymore).
I did what I assume most other Eldar players did, waited for the Banshee/Incubi to be boxed separately and therefore more affordable and then bought them didn't need to spend the additional on another Falcon, heck I'm building the Banshee's as I type.
Are you tired of not being able to watch whatever holovid you want? With NordVPN you can safely bypass any Imperial or Segmentum restrictions! And with my link you get 30% off. That's slash the despoiler.
I am not impressed. The designers' time should have gone to developing new stuff or at least updating units that need it much more. The old Monolith was OK.

I've always thought it's functionally impossible for a VPN to keep no logs? That it's basically a marketing gimmick. Is this just a misconception I have?
Under your link it seems like only IVPN has had an audit showing it doesn't keep logs, and the website says not to trust no-log policies.

For the price, the anycubic mono is the best option I've used. https://www.amazon.com/ANYCUBIC-Photon-Mono-Printing-Monochrome/dp/B08HH329TR/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=photon+mono&qid=1627626552&sr=8-3
Can consistently get it for $200, often less. Get WATER WASHABLE resin.
One time my anycubic photons screen broke, anycubic replaced it for free. I've also heard good things about the mars but the photon mono is so good that I'll be picking a few more up for my business.
No problem, and Vallejo has probably one of the best metallic paint ranges available (it's called Vallejo Metal Color, super thinned down but has great coverage, so you usually only need one coat. They look like this
Always feel weird posting links, cause I don't like sounding like a shill.
Please note I am not sponsored. This is just the one I got.
One thing to note is that it measures "portions", not actual units of food. A portion is one wedge worth of kibble in the rotating bit that makes the food come out. It sounds weird, but if you get it and look down inside the empty food holder, you'll see the rotating disk and the wedges. If you use this food, it is 12 portions per cup of food. My cat gets 4 portions every 8 hours. If you use a differently sized kibble, you'll have to get some measuring cups and figure it out yourself. Thats probably the biggest downside IMO, but it does have a manual release button, so its not TOO hard to determine portion sizes.
Some clever kitties will realize nudging it can dislodge a few kibbles, but they can't get it open even if knocked over, and it doesn't always drop a kibble.
Those problems aside, I haven't had any issues with it. It reminds me of Asimo.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D7HK8Q1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_BNSMGQX24PTVBVFR7B5Y
So those are you 2 best options at that price point. The Mars is cheaper and more reliable. The mini 4K has the best resolution on the market. Both will be able to print infantry and small vehicles like dreadnaughts.
Because a lot of VPN’s have marketed for it before and have been caught. PrivacytoolsIO is always cautious so that’s why they have that in there. But read the details for Mullvad again they were independently audited.
And you’re partially right about the logs. Technically logs are generated but it’s a matter of what they do with them. If they’re destroyed immediately or not kept on their servers then it’s a no-log policy. Their apps and service are open source which means they can not only be audited by larger security/privacy teams, but individuals like you and me as well.
But when you sign up with Mullvad, you don’t even enter your personal info. You can pay anonymously and receive a user ID that you use to log in and there’s literally nothing tying your name to the service, which is what you want for a VPN you’ll be torrenting on.
Mullvad is also who Firefox trusted enough (also another leader in privacy and security) to partner with for their own VPN service.
They’re the gold standard because nobody else offers the same features they do and mean it.
This one. I get about an hour of fairly intense use. I use the air function to quickly dry my paint, which is just pushing down the button on a dual action airbrush, so your mileage may vary. The battery charges fairly quickly as well. You can read the other reviews to get a better idea of performance. It's on the lower side of air pressure so I suggest making sure you properly thin your paints or you'll get a lot of clogging. It's a perfect pressure for the airbrush primers I buy.
I also want to mention another reason why airbrushing is outstanding. They are very economical with paint. A gravity feed airbrush takes paint from the cup and atomizes the paint with the air in the nozzle. You get excellent uniform coverage with little paint consumption and fast drying times. I could put down a few coats in no time, especially when using only the air to help dry the paint. Rattle cans use toxic chemicals as propellants and they give you a thick coat which is why there's an art to priming with rattle cans to prevent loss of detail in models. You can be a lot more deliberate with airbrush paint and primer application.
I'll stop before I rant again. I just got into airbrushing for miniatures and sculpture but found a real passion with it so I like talking about it

For the Chaos Hamster (or what ever you want to call him) I used the normal Helbrute kit, and the head from this mini: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B018RX4VD8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and blended the neck in with green stuff. There also exist even cheaper paints(that still have good quality). Which also came with them back in the day. This is irrelevant to the comparison.
A metric tonne (or 1000kg) of polystyrene is a million grams of plastic. Assuming the firstborn captain u/ThatDapperAdventurer mentioned is roughly the size of this one on amazon then he weighs, in packaging, 27grams. Cardboard is heavy, I think it's fair to knock 7g off that. So let's say 20g for the mini on its sprue. You can get 50,000 of those out of a tonne of polystyrene. But let's assume the process is pretty wasteful, so it's more like 45,000 captain miniatures. At $15 a pop, that would be $33,750,000,000, which is slightly more than $995 though you might need to check my math...
Identity politics is when inherent traits of a person are used as the defining characteristic for political means. Politics isn't just polictical parties and government. The most recent posts evolving LGBT+ are very much encased in identity politics because they use a person's inherent sexual orientation identity as the defining characteristic. As well addressing it as an entire group. If these posts were about specific individuals not connected by an inherent trait they had no control over then it would not meet the definition of identity politics.
Identity politics is when one uses their inherent identity to assert that of all those in the share the same inherent trait. Those the orginal post is in fact a prime example of identity politics in action. As the meme is specifically saying all people are united as a force against the moderators of this page.
If the orginal meme had stated an individual instead of a group based solely on their sexual orientation then it would not meet the definition of identity politics.
They did exact same thing with the chaos space marine who were released first in Black Stone forteress then into multipart kit (Skipping Shadow Spear box )

I don't assume $14-$15 is pure profit. That being said, I'd easily assume minimally $6-9 is. Considering the materials is less than $1 of plastic, packaging can't be much more than that either. Shipping, well, that depends on the number of units shipped at any given time but I can guarantee you it's cheaper to ship bulk than it is to a few boxes.
Ah yes, let me just overnight compete with a game that's been out for 32 years. I'll fully admit I can't. GW has the market on miniature games. Getting hundreds of thousands of people to switch away to something new after they've spent thousands of dollars and countless hours painting? Implausible. 40K is a fluke. There hasn't been another miniatures game that's made it as far. Even the Wars and Trek mini games don't have nearly the success of 40K. There will never be another 40K, unless something radical changes which is very unlikely in the days of videogames.
Give me a full cost analysis debunking what I said (miniature material cost, design and packaging costs etc) or don't reply because... You're wrong and a shill lmao.

The Xeelee Sequence, one of the more popular scifi novel/short story series out there. It's quite similar to 40k in broad strokes, albeit much harder science fiction.
There was a golden age of human expansion that was cut short, Earth was reduced to savagery and occupied by the alien Qax who were eventually overthrown, and humanity was united under the anti-religion doctrines of Hama Druz, and that's when it all went disastrously wrong. Druz was no God-Emperor, more like space Pol Pot - a seriously messed up individual with a whole host of neuroses and hatreds who became convinced humanity had to remain in absolute stasis, live fast and die young, and annihilate all other life. Like a weird inversion of values where suffering and sacrifice for its own sake were good, and all previous human history had to be purged. And then we had the great crusade equivalent - the 'Assimilation', which was absolutely merciless against other human colonies, and ended with a siege of the galactic core itself, fought against the vastly superior Xeelee - which is where Exultant picks up. The Green Army's tactics make the Death Korps of Krieg look like Starfleet.

That's been my go-to sealer for 5 years, I can usually get it for like $8 at Wal-Mart (vs. $12 for Testors at a hobby store or $18/$22 for Citadel at FLGS/GW). It's specifically made to be used when you can't setup great ventilation, so you can spray it inside away from weather (and it's way more forgiving to humidity than Citadel has ever even dreamed to be, so even in the summer with all my windows open and like 75% humidity it still works fine).
