Overall everyone's pretty good about favorite characters and ships. I've seen in other fandoms (though I don't know how serious those people were) that it was generally along the lines of treason if you changed your best girl. But in Love live, I've seen tons of people say there best girl changed, and the comments are usually filled with people saying things that they like about that girl.
Also, most people are super nice to the seiyuus. When that Riko moment happened in Step Zero to One! I saw numerous posts and comments about how they were cheering for Rikako, and how they hoped she felt better about what happened. And nearly everyone was understanding if Lantis decided to cut that moment from the Blu-ray release, seeing how sensitive it was.
Honeslty people may say it's some Shitty idol anime, but it has one of the best and kindest fandoms out there

STEP! Zero to One!
Be careful about leaving the group Chika, or you might get a slap from Umi!
Kidding aside, we got a nice episode today; mainly as a reference to Step Zero to One.
First time listening to St. Snow's preformance and I already loved it. That how I know it's REALLY good.
After Aqour's performance, I didn't quite feel the tension at first...UNTIL RUBY CRIED AND DIA COMFORTS HER.
I'm amazed how they explained and wrapped up the 3rd years backstory in such a brief moment this episode. Although there's still disagreement between Kanan.
8 episodes in. I really wanted the group to form, but I guess what I'm really interested to know right now is how will they convince Kanan; or Kanan's development in general.
it's a certificate for her participation
To be honest, this finale is underwhelming. I can't blame them though. EP 12 was just that good that you'll have bigger expectations for the finale. However, Sunrise did stumble on several points here.
1.) They didn't perform Step! Zero to One amidst the name dropping. Mirai Ticket was good but you don't tease the fans like this.
2.) Their theatrical overstayed its welcome.
3.) It didn't end in a cliffhanger or a conclusion. There is nothing "finale" to this finale. We don't know where Sunrise will take Aqours from here.
4.) Random characters having screen time on the first half of an important episode. Why?
5.) S2 announcement, doko desu ka?! ;____;
Some thoughts I had during the episode
EDIT: Being a lazy city guy I'm not knowledgeable on these things but CAN YOU DO THE CHIKA FLIP ON SAND???
Everything came full circle. I wonder if µ's will be brought up anymore after this. I mean Chika even found the resolve to take the µ's poster down and focus on her own dreams instead of chasing the dreams of her idols. A real Zero to One moment. This episode felt perfect to me.
edit: Oh man the symbolism of the beach scene is amazing now that I think about it. The place where µ's ended and now it is where Aqours truly begins. God damnit, that is so cool.
We just got Mirai Ticket and OmoiNare but I am so excited to hear the full version of Jingle Bells ga Tomaranai. I love the effort for the promotion, I hope they release a music video for the song!
On a side note, I always thought Chika's color was just orange. I didn't know that mikan is a color.

STEP! Zero to One!
Chika who wanted to be like µ's and shine.
Chika who was happy to hear about the school closing down so she could try to save it.
Chika who threw away trying to emulate µ's, and make her and Aqours own way from Zero to One.
Chika who finally started to shine in her own way realizes she really does want to save the school.
Chika who for months talks about working her ass off to create the miracle she needs culminates her efforts in one sweeping Miracle Wave.
Chika who fails to save her school by literally two students and it breaks her so much that she almost gives up on shining and working towards her other miracles is then saved by the very students who she shined for over these last few months.
What a character arc. I love how she has developed over the course of this season and a half.
I really liked how they used 'zero' in the series. Besides the number itself, they figured out that Honoka and the others saved their school from a place with nothing.
With that, they used it as a way to shine. Although they did not perform any of the first single songs like in the first season, Sunshine managed to reference Kimi no Kokoro and Step Zero to One.
in relation to that - it's Chika's final words before doing the announcement poster (the poses and all)
Insert song was likeable the first time listening to it.
I think it's a solid wrap-up of the season. I liked that recap that they did before performing. I don't think it needed to go deeper storywise this episode, because of how well the story was executed. I feel It didn't lack closure.
Favorite moment is the third years before going on stage.
Did anyone else feel like right after the episode that they said they can't be like u's, they started acting exactly like u's? Especially Chika acting like Honoka. Chika felt very.. weird this whole episode. I get that she had character development to love her school or whatever, but it always felt like she valued her friends the most. And with that complete spotlight grab and whatever the hell that ending was, it felt like she was sorta abandoning them.
I liked the skit. I knew realistically it could never happen. But I enjoyed it anyway because it was fun and silly. Dia was the best in it with her awesome pose as she introduced herself.
Not surprised about no Step! Zero to One. I have no idea why everyone thought that was going to be the finale. I will, however, be surprised if it is not the song they sing at Love Live! when they are facing Saint Snow (just like Snow Halation with regionals for u's.) And then an encore song that is something new.
Also, duh there's going to be a second season. They haven't competed in Love Live! yet. They haven't saved their school (one applicant is not enough.)
One thing that concerned me is the way the second years acted. Is Episode 11 really going to be the big second year drama? I was hoping for some more in the second season (with AQUARIUM). But they seem to be pushing that everything's fine with the three of them. Even though, again, Chika feels waaay off in this episode.
Overall, wasn't a fan of the last three episodes. Felt too preachy. Didn't like Chika's monologues. Didn't like the sloppy writing. The songs were okay. The u's episode was the worst in the entire season in my opinion. That one was just plain awful. Just disappointed the season ended with a whimper. >:
It’s a paid membership so you have to buy a “Aqours Club” CD amazon link buy the 2019 edition and inside the package there is a code u can use to join the Aqours club
The Love Live wikia page has most of the audio dramas with eng subs, and also a comprehensive list of the "bunch of other crap" listed under "other adaptations".
Also, the mobile game.
They WON'T be covering the songs. Statement from NIS: ""In order to keep the authenticity and overall feeling of the series, audiences of Love Live! The School Idol Project English dub will be able to enjoy the songs in its original Japanese tracks. Currently, there are no plans for the songs to be dubbed in English, or any other language (Tagalog, Chinese, Thai, etc.)," (Source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2015-05-01/.87348)
I don't know if that's a good or bad choice. On the one hand the songs are perfect by the Japanese VAs. But on the other hand, it will surely be pretty jarring to see a character go from talking in English in one voice to singing in Japanese in another voice. But I guess the anime was ultimately made to sell CDs and stuff so keeping the music the same makes sense from the Japanese business side.
I've emailed Funimation about a live viewing in Canada, it was kinda useless, I will be emailing Bushiroad after, but I don't expect much. Do you guys have any ideas who I should contact next? Here is their reply:

I might be rambling and gushing a tad much, but here are my thoughts:
It all began with Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai? and ended with it.
Despite the mixed reactions and the odd pacing for this last hurrah, I absolutely enjoyed the past 3 months and in extension, the past year if we are counting all the Aqours hype.
I honestly had my doubts and believed that the original Love Live was lightning in a bottle, a miracle never to happen again. However, Sunshine has toppled all of my expectations. Everyone expected Step! Zero to One to play and even if we didn't get it, looking at the bright side, we got six amazing original songs that really did paint the unexpectedly endearing narrative that was deemed unoriginal and uninspired by many.
This episode has thrown the final curveballs in a series of many. Supporting characters joining, recap, no step zero to one, and Momma Chika might have been too many elements that don't fit too well into one coherent finalé, but the fantastic 12 other episodes are absolutely enough to make up for it. Even if I have my biases because I have lived and breathed Love Live these past months, it has been an absolute treat as a Love Liver and a very solid coming-of-age story as a critic.
I feel empty now, not because the episode was lacking in substance but because it's all over. Shoutout to the discord server for all the fun! I spent well over 12 hours today in the chatrooms prepping for the episode, and everyone just made the experience a lot more fulfilling.
edit: 4:53am after a very tiring day of Sunshine!! but it was definitely worth it. Excuse me for any grammatical errors.
Oh boy. Uh, ordinarily I'd source the images posted if OP hasn't, but there's a lot here- please use SauceNAO to find the original artist of any pics you enjoy, and leave them a nice rating if you have an account!
I heard it's going to have some extra backstage footage, and maybe a small booklet or something. There was a 20 min preview of what's included in that Lantis youtube video.
Also, I just found out Amazon JP ships internationally and it's cheaper, about $120 before exchange rates and stuff
In my perception, Aqours has slight better production values, with more electronic elements, and I find that their voices blend more easily. They do VERY well with rock songs like "Aqours Heroes" and "Kimi no Kokoro wa" and they have a lot of energy, while their bouncy pop songs are more dynamic than Muse's; example being "Step! Zero to One" and "Koi ni Naritai Aquarium". As a side-note, I'm anxious to hear the solo versions in Yohane's voice. She has absurd vocal range. Let's get a petition to get her seiyuu in a power metal band or something.
Muse's voices are more different from another and I find myself liking their voices more (they have my favorite singers, Umi and Honoka). Hanayo, Maki, Kotori or Nozomi may not be my favorite singers, but I like their voices in the context of a song together with the other girls. Muse is well balanced in every genre, specially what I call their swing songs (think the "Mermaid Festas", "Paradise Live", "Soldier Game", "Binetsu kara Mystery", "Storm in Lover" etc, I love my playlist with those). I still like Muse's music style more.
I would have to watch it again to remember exactly, but I think I remember loving Step Zero to One a lot. And Yume Kataru yori Yume Utao was really fun when they went around on the platforms with the pompoms.
There are many, and I just list some of them;
Muse:
> If each of us can put our hearts into the things we love
> A new (place) will be our goal
> If we trust in the things each of us loves
> We can (embrace) the excitement and move forward
from Bokura wa Ima no Naka de.
I was not in a very good situation when I heard this song, with many difficulties around. This song, however, immediately inspired me to move forward. (p.s. Bokura wa Ima no Naka de is still my most favorite Muse song)
Aqours:
> I listened with, my eyes closed,
> to the repeating sound of the waves
> Today is quietly flowing by
from Mattete Ai no Uta
With only several words, a scene of seaside quick appeared in front of my eyes. Aqours is really good at creating atmosphere, said I to myself.
Anyone experienced through know that it was not a good time for Aqours, and we were desperately searching for what makes Aqours special and valuable. However, at that time, no a single song really made me content (with minor exception of Step Zero to One)
And there came the Mattete, whose lyrics and melody brought me to the shore of Numazu. Suddenly I realized, it is the song I waited for long time.
> Can you believe in me? That I'll surely be able to sing someday
This morning I stepped out of dorm with Step! Zero to One
Evening I feel the love in Glass Hanazono
At gym it's a mix of Start Dash and Strawberry Trapper
When walking I reach for everything Lily White
Loveless World is something Aqours has not equivalent yet though
I don't know why the B side songs sound so much better to me than the main singles. Step Zero to One caught my attention the most from the 1st single, and now Mattete Ai no Uta just blows me away, and definitely looks to be almost everyone's favorite song from what I'm reading here too.
~~Mattete Ai no Uta now my ringtone too~~
To give a little in-sight, it's the first anime character group to top the weekly album chart since K-On!

Amazon JP is still taking Pre-Orders
I preordered mine already, but im debating getting a second copy.
Kimi no Kokoro makes me wonder if they'll do an older song at prelims/finals like Muse did with snow halation/BokuIma. Step Zero to One? I feel like that song has to appear somewhere.
I also got a lil feelzy when I saw them performing it LOL. I can't believe its been two years since we first saw these girls animated. The dance models have improved so much since then too omg.
I'm excited for the next ep! Dia ep hype.
To me part of Sunshine was about the Aqours finding their own identity.
They pretty much lampshade very heavily how much Chika is trying to just copy µ's instead of being her own thing.
Near the end she, and all of Aqours really, take that first step into their own realm, hence the whole theme of Step Zero to One.
my biggest letdown of the episode was Zero to One. They said it over a dozen times and by the time the song was starting i was even saying out loud "it has to be Step! Zero to One." Then Mirai Ticket started and i was like "What?" definitely a good song but i've never had such a big tease from an anime before. and then ending it with Kimi no Kokoro Kagayaiteru Kai? that's probably the biggest hint at a season two even if saying that is a bit of a stretch.
I think that's a good way to put it. Change seems pretty large theme for Sunshine ,that the songs Mattete Ai no Uta and Step! Zero to One especially seem to highlight. Riko clearly isn't happy with herself. Chika wants to shine. Yoshiko seems to legitimately hate her name and needs to come to terms with that. Ruby aspires to become a functioning human being. Hanamaru seems to have issues with her self-image. Being idol is a way for them to change themselves.
The doki doki sunshine part really gets to you but Step Zero to One is probably my most favourite single in the CD, it's so damn catchy!
Also it seems like they got down the character designs and settings of the school, if they're that far into development, expect an anime announcement sometime in the future as I can guarantee that all that work won't be limited to just PV's!
For now, enjoy the PV and remember to share it amongst yourselves!
e: Bonus new comment face thanks to /u/UltimateEpicFailz fixing up my horrid coding!

Piggy backing on these great points, Shikaco also seems to have a good presence as a live host. Here's an episode of a live show she hosts. I am pretty confident (and very hopeful) that the hard work the seiyuus have put in over the past few years will reward them with a comfortable and prosperous career in the years to come.
One sure-fire way to get it is to purchase the original single, which comes with a copy on DVD. If you're open to that, choosing this approach has the advantage of supporting the seiyuus (and you can enjoy a full quality copy, where YMMV with random streams)
You can buy it here:
Amazon JP: https://www.amazon.co.jp/僕らのLIVE-君とのLIFE-DVD付-ラブライブ/dp/B003S9U582/
It's available right here on Amazon JP, they do ship to the US and other countries so don't be afraid to order from here!
~~They also have the cheapest shipping rates so if you're poor like me this is your best shot~~
Thanks /u/Europos for your acknowledgments. It was fun discussing this matter with you on discord.
I'll just like to throw a few cents into the ring here.
Implications: HPT sales will probably represent the ceiling of sales for any Aqours release between now and the second season. In all probability, this means that it is the ceiling of the Sub-unit singles and Duo and Trio song sales. Unless Guilty Kiss pulls off an unlikely upset and its' typical two to one advantage in view counts vis a vis other sub-unit songs also translates into sales margins into the 10K plus range.
Caveats on Day 1 Sale. While Day 1 Sales make up a large proportion of the final First Week sales, keep in mind that there is a tail of a certain size that exists. As an illustration, Love Live Sunshine BD7 sold around 46k on the first week (three days if memory serves) and 8k on the second week. Just to get a sense of how big the tail can be, consider Muse last single, Moment Ring. Moment Ring opened with 35k sales on the first day, and ended with 96.4k sales by the end of the week. Now, the tail is unlikely to be that large for HPT.... but, it's still going to be significant.
Caveat on View Counts: Bear in mind that view counts on Youtube do not reflect only unique views. Viewing a video again after several hours also contribute to viewcounts (though mashing the replay button over and over again does not). Viewcounts have longer tails, and also indicates how "streamable" a song is. That being said, contemplating whether there is a stable conversion rate between viewcounts and BD sales for Love Live would be interesting - sadly, Lantis hides the statistics of their videos, making assessing this relationship difficult. Step Zero to One does have the advantage of being the title song of the First Live, as well as being part of the first Single, which might make it's view counts an outlier
I'd argue that this episode did just that, setting up for the next season.
I thought it wrapped up everything beautifully. Aqours completed ther step from Zero to One, but they obviously don't want to just stop there. They have stated that getting to one is just the beginning. This is even reinforced by Chika when she verifies that she is not going to give up. She wants to shine brighter, make it past the first step that thye have achieved, and the aptly named "Mirai Ticket" is them leaving the station and traveling towards the future.
Actually had some more questions (sorry)
If I wanted to get a complete newbie into anime, which ones would you recommend?
Sleeper animes that you can recommend (can be from any season)
Any Manga/LN/VN adaptations you guys would like to happen?

I made this list for my own reference, and I decided to share it with you all! All videos are straight-on, or mostly straight-on, and they are not mirrored (if you want to learn them 100% accurate, I would suggest mirroring them at http://deturl.com/mirror-flip.asp).
If you have any of the missing songs, please send me links and I will add them to the doc!
Weirdly enough, "my pace" is a word. I actually think it fits those 3.
I'm like 99% sure that's it since the image quality is just so damn bad I can't definitely say that there's no circle there. I agree with "idol <something>" as well. Voting starts tomorrow so it would be lovely if we could actually see what they're saying first :B
> Sunny Day Song
I would go with the SEGA/FuRyu ones. Given your budget you can probably get 3 off Amazon.
I highly recommend the Sunny Day Song one. Really good quality for the price (I have the Nozomi one). Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki and No Brand Girls are also good.
Banpresto also has a figure where they are sitting down.
I like Anchan's picture the most. She looks gorgeous, and her arms look strong and powerful.
Has this only just come up on Amazon by the way, or what?

Fellow guitarist here. Thanks for the site links. Only checked out chords of μ's songs so far, haven't tried playing Aqours songs yet. Cyaron songs looks fun, and playing some guilty kiss songs on electric guitar would be awesome!
On a related note, like mentioned, another good source for transcriptions of LL! songs are the official score books. Currently though, I think only μ's has some.
Here's one, it's a book with full scores available in amazon JP.
Bought it awhile back, it's detailed but you got everything you need there.
I'm just gonna leave this here
The best option if you're okay with not having an official version is get a regular Kingblade off Amazon for $30, and use the QR codes to turn it into an Aqours blade
I tried to match the colors as close as possible to the official one I have, and I'd say it's about 95%+ accurate.
The Aqours Lumiace is really good for quick switching, and I can't tell you how to spend your money...but you can get two kingblades for the same price as an official one, and the official one only has 9 colors if you ever want to use it for something else in the future.
We’re definitely getting at least two new insert singles since they already announced release dates for them and one of them is definitely going to be for finals (BokuIma was technically just an encore and their real finals song was KiraKira) and the other is probably a mid-season song to hold us over until the regional rounds for Love Live. Step Zero to One has to be one of the insert songs this season because that’s pretty much an overarching them of this whole series.
But then again I could be completely wrong but we’ll see
The Azoland site does not have the ticket links listed as up yet, but they are up for sale on Cineplex for some locations (though not all, such as Oakville); they've slowly been popping up (unfortunately without notification), so just keep checking the location you want to go to.
And yeah, Yonge-Dundas is sold out which isn't a mistake; I bought some tickets earlier this morning when sales opened up, and then they sold about by about 4pm I think. Back in March, Step Zero to One also sold out within a day or so there iirc.
I was disappointed when first hearing it in Episode 13, and while the song has an appropriate message I don't understand why they didn't use Step! Zero to One when they focused on "turning the 0 to a 1" the entire episode. However, it has definitely grown on me since. Chika's passionate solo is one of my favorite parts, and the vocals overall are great. The song is probably one of my favorites from Aquors now, though I think highly of all of their songs so it's hard to rank them.
i just got that song out of my head after it was stuck there the entire day, and then i read this title and it's stuck again. :')))
This song and Aozora Jumping Heart are both really good! My other favorite group Aqours song are Todokanai Hoshi da Shitemo and Step Zero to One, since it was the first Aqours song I heard. Favorite subunit song is- well... All of them? I seriously can't pick a favorite. :P
Back when I had an Android device, I used Ringdroid to make a custom text notification. It's still around and still getting good reviews.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ringdroid&hl=en
Of course you'll need the audio. Easiest way to do that is convert a YouTube clip into MP3.
http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/mp3-converter
Just take the file you make there, place it on your phone and Ringdroid (or something else if that one isn't to your liking) should be able to make the ringtone/notification for you. Hope that's enough to get you started.
Well, someone made a physic problem out of it
If you can't read moonrunes, it basically works out from the assumptions that the boobs are square formed.
I'm not sure if you're still looking at this point, but on this guy's tumblr he's got a link to a subbed pdf version which is has formatting and the images and stuff to go along with it.
I adapted a scene from the my friend's fic Spica to a comic format. I recommend giving it a read if you’re a fan of UmiMaki~

If you're on a Windows PC, and are willing to do the $3/Radiko subscription, it only takes about 5-10 minutes of one time setup to be equipped to listen.
Basically,
The next broadcast is tomorrow morning your time, based on the time you noted you got up to order (9:15CDT?) :-)
Currently listed on Amazon JP for pre-order.
If it's anything like the LisAni magazine, I expect it to have an interview and plenty of photos.
Book will be 112 pages in length and currently priced at ¥3,000.
you can get them on Amazon, they are pretty cheap at 40 to 80 dollars. They come with game (It is like the Hatsune Miku games but easier and worse character models) and three Exclusive Nendoroid-Petit figures. Here is Printemps for example
I found some off of Amazon. There are other sites you can find them on, but this was just a quick search.
Though if you can find them at cons, they probably will be a bit cheaper.
Kotori4Lyfe provided really good details on this so I just want to add that I personally got my Kingblade from amazon for only $30 usd and it can be programmed to have a variety of colors and people have created a QR specifically intended to replicate the Aqours official blades. If you're interested and end up using it I could help you with any problems you have! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015E0NEAI/ref=ya_st_dp_summary?ie=UTF8&psc=1

At my grocery store (I live in Asia) but here it is on Amazon.
They're actually just a cheap set I bought on amazon. Although I believe I may have snagged one of the last pink sets.

To compare the fluctuations, let me provide the mean and the standard deviation for different Muse and Aqours eras:

Went to the Step! Zero to One Day 1 live viewing alone, but I didn't feel alone. There was lots of energy and enthusiasm and hype from Aqours and the audience that I couldn't help but shout and sing along with the songs. It was a very very fun experience for me that I couldn't stop talking about it for days.
I personally like Aqours more than μ's. In the anime, I've always felt like μ's were treated like gods and as long as everyone smiles and sings and believe in the heart of the cards, they'll win. Granted, there are many anime like that that I like and I still like Love Live, it just gets a little predictable after a while.
With Aqours, I honestly expected them to lose, but I didn't expect them to get 0 votes. That one scene and Chika pretending to be ok because she's the leader and she can solve everything with smiles only to finally break down made Aqours more real to me.
As for the music, I wasn't for μ's songs until I played WILD STARS and Kaguya on SIF. With Aqours, I've pretty much like their music since the beginning. I have played the ever loving crap outta Aqours Heros and Step Zero to One and don't even get me started on the year group/sub-unit singles.
I still love μ's to death, but when it comes to my personal taste in anime and music, Aqours wins out. I also love their seiyuus. Anchan #1
I actually liked the song originally. I thought it wrapped up the polarizing finale quite well (though I do agree Step; Zero to One would have been more fitting. The full version definitely helps it even more too. I've always liked Chika's singing voice but I wouldn't say it was a favorite. After hearing her solo on this song though really brings her up. Like holy cow is it good. They did a really good job showing that Anju/Chika can have a really soothing but powerful voice when she wants to.
I'm expecting either a cliffhanger that leads us into season 2 (sort of how the last episode of TOS led directly to the movie) where it's revealed the group has made it to the next round or the group finds out they didn't make it past preliminaries sometime during ep 12 and ep 13 will revolve around what they plan to do as a group now that their first shot at entering Love Live is over. I'm really leaning towards my first prediction because there's no way that Sunrise and Lantis didn't think there was going to be a second season. This show prints money for both companies so there's no way they would end it after a single season.
As for song predictions, I'm kind of hoping they follow the trend of releasing entirely new music in the show. As much as I'd love to see Kimi no kokoro or Zero to One, they've been knocking it out of the park with all these new songs so I'm hoping the finale is entirely new material.
Crack theory: the real finale is next week.
For real though, I am in agreement with most in this thread about the recap. It was cute, absolutely, and I suppose in the context of Aqours forging their own path divergent of u's it makes more sense, but it should have been at least 3 minutes shorter. I'd have rather seen what happened after the live. They could've had a heartwarming moment with Saint Snow, could've looked at their ranking, ~~could've discussed their future in some way so we could fantasize about season 2,~~ or something. Like they could've performed Kimi no Kokoro or Step Zero to One after name dropping them both.
I'm just baffled. They had so many great options and didn't go with a single one of them. It was such a beautiful, emotional season, and the ending just fizzled out. This firework was a dud. This soda lost it's carbonation.
I just. I mean obviously I've said a lot about it, but I'm just kinda speechless right now.
Either they don't make it past the prelims or they don't win the Love Live! first time around, that is if the event is kept as being bi-annual otherwise I'd imagine them advancing through more stages throughout the next season. Also think we'll get to hear Step! Zero to One in the anime soon.
I feel the 3rd Years having to graduate and it being their last chance as School Idols is something that will have to be addressed like with µ's next season if it's set towards the end of the school year and if not in the next two episodes the school closing down plot point too, it feels out of focus right now though.
Maybe we'd get some character focused episodes in the second season. If I were to guess there could be an episode with Ruby having to be the centre of a song in regards to her being afraid of things easily, like with Love Wing Bell. Looking forward to more full-group antics in Season 2 now and I'm hoping to see Riko being shown to interact more with the other group members besides Chika.
I like Koi ni Naritai too! It's just not on my top three. Basically I love every Aqours song except Aqours Heroes, haha. I also agree with everything you said about the voices! Pretty much everyone in Aqours sounds good, while in u's, Nico, Hanayo, Kotori and Nozomi (or their in character voices at least) just aren't to my taste, which is what you said as well!
Yeah, I've noticed a difference in Aqours' songs too. Especially with Step! Zero to One. I think what they're doing with it is good, and they should keep trying new things!
From a composition point of view, only Step! Zero to One has stood out for me so far. Assuming it's the same musicians making the songs, surely we can expect something great, but as of now I'm not feeling it yet.
I adore Aqours songs way more than u's. Don't get me wrong, there are some songs of u's I really enjoy. But honestly, I find myself liking u's mini idol songs much better than their mainstays. Or some of their solo/pair work (Rin^3, Garasu, Magnetic Today, Mermaid festa vol.2)
When I first heard the preview of Aquarium, I knew I'd love it. And I absolutely adore it. It's probably not my favorite. That goes to Aqours Hereos. I also like Step! Zero to One a lot too. Those are probably my three favorites. I don't like CYaRon much though. I'm sorry but Ruby just ruins it. That's the biggest downside to Aqours. I don't hate anyone in u's (anymore). I don't think I'll stop hating Ruby. Not only is her singing just absolutely terrible. (It's not even the squeak because I like the way Kotori plays with her voice.) I just hate the so obvious lolibait that she is. There is such a thing as too cute. They went too cute with her, and it's just bad. Sorry if you like her! I get that she's totally adorable. I personally just find it a bit overdone. But if you can handle it, more power to you.
The voices are FABULOUS and the third years are super super pretty. I'm also in love with the setting and feel of the project. Step Zero to One gets better every time I listen to it :D
Listening to the B-sides with headphones I can hear someone who sounds like Eli (Kanan?) at :10 ish, and then two distinct voices at 2:43 (Riko?... it sounds like Nozomi) and 2:49 (Mari?)
Pretty good start, I'm looking forward to when they have a little more individuality a few albums from now (mu's had it the same, it took a while for each girl to find her "voice"). Zero to One sounds like it came straight out of a 16-bit Sonic game, lots of fun!
It was literally the Honoka icon I saw in the app store 1.5 years ago that first got me into SIF and to eventually experience the greatest franchise of my life. Chika is nice too, but I hope she understands that I had to change the icon back
Normally yes I hear it's supposed to be pretty painful, but the area is so small that I used a little more numbing cream per square inch than I normally do for larger tattoos, so I didn't actually feel anything at all until the very end (it took about 20 minutes total). https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01B14NDGQ/ Apply some of this over the area where you want the tattoo an hour before your appointment, get some plastic wrap from your kitchen and attach it to your skin with band-aids, and then take it off and wash the area thoroughly when you arrive at the studio.
full version is included in the anime season 2 vol.7 blu-ray disk
this is also a tie-in to their themed activities where Ayumu, Ai, and Kanata are part of the creative cooking team... they also recently released a 90-page manga with some recipes
These were taken from the newly released Official Visual Collection for Love Live Superstar. It is also available digitally on all the usual places. If you wonder why the first image is from Vol 6, that's just because it's my favorite cover out of all of them :D
I get my cd mounts off of Amazon.
If you want it here you go:
I've actually had a good talk about this with the other mods and I'm seriously hoping/thinking it's another anime series.
So we know the movie is due in 2 months and that is pretty much keeping the fanbase together for now. But unfortunately there's only so much one movie + music can do (see K-On!).
Idolm@ster (who is pretty much LL's main competitor) pretty much did the same formula when their anime ended in 2011. Despite them doing a bunch of ONA's, Idolmaster didn't really get their foot back into the scene until they did their movie (Jan 2014) followed by their spin-off series, Cinderella girls (who is also getting a second season).
I may be a tad biased but anime is a huge medium and LL would be silly not to capitalize and milk it for all they can. From what I saw, LL still holds the lead over IM@S in terms of sheer popularity and even though we've had something to watch since it originally aired in 2013, I can see LL losing footing unless they do something similar.
The big question against it being an anime is that the 3rd years have graduated which means no more school life/everyday stuff together.
All we've had so far for a new season is pretty much the end scene of Episode 13 where Hanayo gets a notification that's "really big news"

A big hint is the beach, why the beach? Perhaps the Love Live tournament is still continuing in other areas? Even though they have 'won it' they could be battling other schools outside of Kanto/Japan?
Its been awhile since I last watched the show lol im assumin in akihabara since maid cafe are famous there. Chrunchyroll did a photoshoot where the anime took place: https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2017/11/25/the-real-world-spots-of-blend-s
Also Nicocafe in Japan did a collaboration with Blend S the menu looked good!

The show is available on Crunchyroll: https://www.crunchyroll.com/love-live-school-idol-project
School Idol Project is the first anime, it has two seasons. Sunshine is a spin off that plays 5 years after School Idol Project. It has two seasons as well.
There are English subtitles for the Japanese voiced version and there's also a version with English voices for both shows. Crunchyroll has it both.
I think it's also available on funimation. And you can buy it on Amazon prime video as well.

Here is a link of all the extra goodies.
Wow that’s really pricey. Kinokuniya usually has great selections but I don’t like their prices. It would be cheaper to get it from Amazon JP even with Amazon’s ridiculous shipping fee (USD$58 including shipping).
If you're in the US (and maybe Canada) Funimation has it up. I watched it on there a few minutes after it came out and it streamed just fine.
To get All Stars (and other JP games), you can use an app called "QooApp" to download the game's installer. You can get QooApp here.
Once it's installed, search for "All Stars" and you should be able to continue from there :)
Well considering its the same pricing for an individual commercial license, its actually worth it, especially when you consider alternatives like 'Lets.Enhance.io' and its subscription based pricing plan, and the fact that the last time I used it, it wasn't as good as Topaz A.I. Gigapixel.
But if you were to use it for personal use only, like just for Reddit posts, then yeah it can be a bit more questioning when you have free solutions like ESRGAN (just have to get over the expert centered installation/usage) or Waifu2x for illustrations.
