Explore ruins, find items to make upgrades, that give access to even more ruins. Makes total sense.

I'm not the creator, I was sent the link from a friend and saw that it hadn't be posted in the most relevant sub-Reddit.
Check out his Etsy page: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Everquest?ref=l2-shopheader-name
Looks like this particular piece has a $75 pricetag.
Seems to be just your typical mod code for MMBN 3. This one is SIE1TMSD and is for HP +250.
I feel like Sherlock Holmes now.
If you were looking to preorder it on Amazon, here you go:

While this doesn't seem completely 8-bit (most notably the drums), this is some pretty freakin' great stuff. You should look into Famitracker if you want a perfectly 8-bit sound.
With all that said, I could actually use a composer for my Mega Man game if you're interested. Link
I'm just using placeholder music for now, and I've been wanting some original themes for a while. So if you're interested in helping me out, even if it's just one theme, let me know. :D

Amazon, I think. It fits my son's 11 month old head pretty well, but on adults it looks pretty awful. Fair warning!
i think the most important factor in choosing between the two is the crosses. i chose gregor but now that ive looked at the falzar crosses, i kinda wish that i had picked that one.
Anyways, here's a website with info on all the differences in the game http://www.supercheats.com/gameboyadvance/walkthroughs/megamanbattlenetwork6cybeastfalzar-walkthrough10.txt
and here's a little more detail on the crosses http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/929992-mega-man-battle-network-6-cybeast-falzar/faqs/40333
Hi guys. A while back (and under a different reddit username) I submitted a link to my Twitch account where I was setting the MM games into 3D for the 3DNes emulator.
Well the first three games are done and I just finished making this promo video for MM2.
Here's more designer's notes on the 3dn file: https://itch.io/post/38698
And the promo video for the first Mega Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qzwq1vzlD9k
If there's any particular childhood flash memories you don't want to let go of (like say Rokko-chan), check out FlashPoint. They're doing really good work preserving these old games and animations for offline use after Flash goes to the farm.
My two cents:
Pretty good game. There are some things I've noticed so far that are a bit off, such as physics and animations and such being not quite right. That, and MIDI music. Ugh. No bueno. There's gotta be someone over on the Famitracker forums that would be willing to take a swing at this. Or hell, just take the original music itself. There are also some disparities in the sound effects, taking some from the 8-bit games, some from the 16-bit, and some that just seem kinda random.
Other than that, though, this is definitely a solid game. Level design seems pretty good so far (played through intro and Toadman). Different level paths are very nice to see. The levels are pretty long (which I think is a good thing). And even better, bosses have had some work done. I chose Toadman to start with because, let's face it, he's one of the easiest bosses ever. Thankfully, the battle did have some new stuff in it, including one of those newfangled "desperation attack" sort of things. So yeah, I like it.
Now, just fix the music. And the physics. And the animations. :D
I recommend the Xbox One controller. It's very nice for platformers and other games. The Power A battery pack is a must have if you don't want to go through lots of AA batteries, and it happens to be on a great deal at the moment. Don't forget to get a controller with a dongle if your PC doesn't have bluetooth.
Japan.
True Zero fan, you got the Zero Nendoroid?
Music is stellar on the X games, most of the time.
Its true, the first time someone mention the, the jump to the darker theme is a very cool thing.
Nah, cuz Im only doing official games. Theres like....2 games Im not doing which is 1 NES board game, and the GameGear game. And then Im not doing the mobile games for multiple reasons. You can see the entire list here, and what Ive done so far - https://tinyurl.com/megamanmonday
Found while casually browing ... https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Engineering-Programmable-Synthesizer-Sequencer/dp/B08LHBLNCS/
haha well a buddy of mine's friend has done this for me. We are almost finished with it. I have 1 more session to finish off the bottom of the tattoo. It has cost enough haha, but if you are interested in more of his work, https://www.facebook.com/leveluptattoo there is his facebook page. He has another Megaman tattoo from the X series he did for someone a few months back.
That's what I thought, but X's model name is apparently Megaman X/Rockman X as per Light's documentation (Light even calls him X later on in his documentation, which is a proof that his calling name and model name are different).
If you can accept Mega Man Volnutt even though there's no established link to the original Mega Man then Megaman.EXE, Mega Man in Star Force, and all the Mega Men in ZX/ZXA should be counted too since all of them call themselves "Mega Man" in some manners.
Awesome question, I'm glad I joined this forum. I wouldn't call these rom hacks, but I think they are similar.
That's amazing, A.I. is a really interesting area.
Maybe it's just me but I always loved the idea of creating something close to a human interaction with a computer. It just proves what we as humans can accomplish.
I'm working with Vince Ruz (click the link for some of his pieces. He also has an artist fb page you can check out here ) to get a little demo up and running for the kickstarter presentation.
We created a development plan on trello and it's going well. We have some assistant concept art, we've already nailed controller support for the ARPG outerweb world with smooth movement and voice recognition for special actions. We've also connected the custom game engine we're finishing (built on top of a framework) with the A.I. script for the assistant hub (the equivalent of the PET area).
Right now we've got all positions covered (I'm handling the programming and project direction, and he's doing an amazing job working on the design) but I'll be sure to let you know if we ever need some testers or any help with the development. You seem to be really qualified to help.
Thanks!
Why do we call it gasoline instead of petrol or benzine? Why do we call mobile phones as "cellular" phones? The word has a history.
Thank! I'm actually using different anims from the Paragon assets that Epic games released. The running is from "Twinblast" and the shooting is from "Revenant."
Here was the announcement: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/epic-games-releases-12-million-worth-of-paragon-assets-for-free
Hello again, I just wanted to post a bump to let you know that I figured out the 1.02 patch installation dilemma. My apologies if this behavior is unacceptable. I've documented my findings on PCGamingWiki, which you can see below.
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Rockman_X7#Can.27t_install_patch
I'm not sure what exactly this patch fixes, but I know it reintroduces the disk check and region lock on a cracked executable.
I'm not an expert on this area, but I always heard that something is only breaking the law once you tried to make a profit off of it. I've heard of plenty of cases of items being canceled because of this they didn't had copyrighted material in it though.
I had my facts wrong according to this article though. Apparently the fan came up with the game and demo to show to Capcom, and Capcom was incredibly supportive of it. That earns some brownie points for me, for the simple fact that most companies seem to tell the fans to fuck off if they do this. Granted, they provided a few developers, some advertisement money, and that's it.
I would like for them to do something else with Megaman, but I think they feel safe with the 8-bit. It's easy to do, the fans like it, and nobody gets hurt. I would really like another SNES style MMX-like series, but that's just me. Good news is that they should be announcing something for Megaman on December 17th, according to the same article.
Komuso Man was always pretty neat, and looks even better in classic style. The DOS robot masters were pretty terrible, though i wish someone would redo them with these versions.
You're going to have a hard time finding hard copies of the older volumes, so I'd recommend going digital. Comixology is a great website for this. The comics are reasonably priced and they have a fantastic e-reader and mobile app. Hope that helps!
You should probably read this before considering buying from them. It sums up many peoples experience quite well and gives good insight into there poorly managed business.
Sure thing!
QUICK NOTE: SN30 PRO+2 is sold out but if you don't care about the 2 extra buttons on the back of the controller, it might still be worth it to get the first version!
The Android version has a lot of content and is free but with ads! We want to really make the full version attractive that's why we're granting free players quite a few attacks they can play around and experiment with even for a long time!

weird thing is it shows you get a blind bag figure but mine came with a big glass cup of megaman and protoman on it. I'd rather have the glass lol
I got him from amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Kotobukiya-Mega-Man-Rockman-Plastic/dp/B003NE4J4S/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=megaman+model+kit&qid=1609355576&sprefix=megaman+&sr=8-3 here’s a link if you want to get it for yourself. It is a model kit witch means you have to build it
There is/was a Megaman 2 "Worlds of Power" book that I LOVED as a kid. I still remember parts of it. If you could find that, I recommend. Good for that age too.
Not cheap, but on Amazon:

Hmm, the physical version of the Zero/ZX collection for at least some consoles did get released in Germany, as I can find the Switch version on Amazon
I got mine off Amazon here. Beware, though. If you're expecting it to be big, it's a miniature designed to be used with a board game. It's still very nicely detailed, though. I took a zoomed out photo on my phone comparing it to the sizes of the Megaman Nendoroid
Amazon has a “semi pro” controller it’s just a pro controller without the rumble it’s fairly cheap I have two of them one in my locker at work at one at home. I didn’t want to spend the money on the pro
Edit : PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch Red (Only at Amazon) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GTL8JPF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v0qPDbKSM88TE
The Mega Man Official Complete Works provides the kind of info you're looking for.
https://www.amazon.com/Mega-Man-Official-Complete-Works/dp/1897376790
But generally, Keiji Inafune was the main illustrator for the Classic series until after Mega Man 7, when he became a full time producer and could only contribute art sparingly. There were other illustrators that worked on the games alongside him such as Naoya Tomita (Tom Pon of Mega Man 1 and 2) and Hayato Kaji.
It's $30 on Amazon for the paperback and $40 for the hardback

B&H is accepting "pre-orders" with a quoted release date of June 16: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1504396-REG/capcom_41018_mega_man_zero_zx_legacy.html
Amazon JP still has some in stock https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07X45KJ7F/ so hopefully its just a short term delay
Even better, it's just a free app and widget: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.krosbits.musicolet&hl=en
Hey fellow fans and hopefully Android users, I made a live wallpaper as an homage to the classic video game. You can watch your favorite characters running across your phone background, and even get them to attack, jump, and dash with your user gestures. Check it out, thanks! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.happeningsoft.gigaguy
If he is into comics/anime/manga, buy him the Megaman Megamix Manga its a good read and not many people have read it, so it will surprise him, also its very big for the price that is on.
I really like the model by Kotobukiya. https://www.amazon.com/Kotobukiya-Mega-Man-Rockman-Plastic/dp/B003NE4J4S
I also really enjoy the Worlds of Power book that I had from 2nd grade for Mega Man 2. Its basically the novelization of that game.
Thank you,
Amazon has one at 82 + shipping
Yeah I know. It's the main reason why I'm holding off on picking up everything from the X crossover on. I really don't want to spend the money just to turn around and buy the novels in a couple months anyway, but these delays are making it hard not to.
The only other thing I can think of, is maybe Archie is considering doing a collection larger than the graphic novels. For example, if you look at Amazon is looks like they will eventually release a World's Collide "Epic", which collects all three of the graphic novels that were released:
http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Mega-Man-Collide-Complete/dp/1627389512
The Gravis Gamepad Pro USB was pretty ubiquitous when USB first came out. I still have one and use it for vintage style games all the time. Works really well for MegaMan, especially the X series.
Use Nova launcher app and change the look to landscape mode. Set the desktop grid to 6x5. http://imgur.com/a/4pFUA - use these for the background and items.
I also used https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chibinet.android.energytank&hl=en for the widget on the left.
I added the date and time with zooper.
besides the ones mentioned by other users I found. "GameStart 2015". The camera is really close but otherwise seems decent. It even has Ryu and Chun-Li and if the description is right it's a contribution with the creator of "Street Fighter X Mega Man".
Also "Jump 'n' Shoot Attack!" is similar but not quite... I kinda like it.
There exists a modified version of the VBA which can link up people over the internet, but to do that you need to use Hamachi and enter a network with peeps who want to play. Although it's really slow and not really usable unless you have fiber connection.
There's a really good GBA Emulator for Android though, that can be connected locally through bluetooth or Wifi, but I didnt try out the Wifi part yet... The bluetooth part can run really smoothly though, I could play an BN game without framedrops with my friends!
