RE #3, the iPhone SE is on the latest iOS and will be able to update to iOS 12 in September. The SE uses an iPhone 6s chip (A9). The oldest iPhone supported in iOS 12 is the iPhone 5s (A7), so you can assume the SE will at least receive iOS 13 in 2019 as well, if not more updates.
Are you familiar with RCS chat? I've seen this briefly cause problems for me in the past. This may be turned on by default for you with no way to turn it off (that I'm aware of) without downloading a different messaging app. I am assuming you don't already use Google's Android Messages app and don't have it on your phone.
So what you can do is download the Google Android Messages app if you're not already using it. Download from the play store here.
Enable it as the default messaging app when prompted. Try sending MMS with "chat features" enabled in the app, then again with it disabled to see if having it on or off fixes it for you. You can probably first do this test by sending an MMS to yourself and see if it gets received before moving on to trying it with a friend.
Samsung.com says the max is 512GB. You can get a 128GB from Amazon for around $22. Good luck!
Here is the link from my Windows computer.

You can try T-mobile IMEI Checker:
https://www.t-mobile.com/resources/bring-your-own-phone
It looks like there are several versions of the device. The EU and US versions are only missing LTE band 71. The global version is missing both LTE band 71 and LTE Band 66. taken from here
Well that's a bummer. I wonder if you can download and use the T-Mobile visual voicemail app instead and just delete the metro one. Here's a link to the apk if you want to try it and it doesn't let you install it through the play store. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/t-mobile-usa/t-mobile-visual-voicemail/t-mobile-visual-voicemail-5-27-9-81528-release/
The connection is coming from your phone but a vpn will protect your identity while anti virus software will protect against malware and other viruses but honestly if you don't have enemies or download porn your should be fine.
i suggest NordVPN its cheap as hell and your pc should already have basic virus stuff
Scrolling down to T-Mobile area of this webpage: https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/xiaomi-mi-11-pro show that the phone is missing one of the two major 5G bands and missing two of the 4G bands. Also, T-mobile is sunsetting 3G on July 1, 2022.
Looks like the issue may being on Xiaomi end after googling around and reading something on XDA forums.
A unlocked (bootloader) and rooted phone. It's the Razer Phone 2 I got it at best buy.
Are you in California? Full tax on pre-discount amount for bundled phones is mostly a thing just in California.
Besides, iPhone 6s 32GB certainly does not retail for $549.00 as MetroPCS claims on their website. It's below iPhone 7 in every way (other than having a headphone jack, due to being 12 months older than iPhone 7), and iPhone 7 32GB currently retails at Apple.com, fully unlocked, at $449.00.

Has anyone tried Bluetooth tethering? Supposedly it's much harder to detect and use less of a phone's resources. Routers with Bluetooth seem hard to find, I might try a router with OpenWRT, openwrt.org has modules you can install to enable Bluetooth tethering.
Look at their Facebook page and read some of the comments. Its some jabroni sitting in their mom's basement playing "entrepreneur". They are just literally activating standard post-paid T-Mobile SIM cards on standard T-Mobile accounts and reselling them to you for a monthly subscription with some shady devices.
Red flags:
so your saying if you go to https://contacts.google.com/ using a computer, you have no contacts there? This is very strange. As soon as you log into your primary Google account on any (or most) Android devices, contacts are stored on your Google account by default unless you have specified a different storage medium (sim, phone, sd card). If its not there, its close to impossible to recover them. Sorry

Does it have to be refurbished? Here is a very good phone with a review of the phone underneath. Plus it's Amazon, so if you don't like it, feel free to return it. I've gotta some gems over the years taking a chance on lesser known brands of phones.

I wondered why MetroPCS cust svc is so non existant. The phone reps they have are super nice though. I mean I am in the hood in one of the poorest cities in the US but damn these employees remind me more of the Guard Officers at 201. Like you're bothering them when you come in the store. Lol. Anyway I'm over it. Just going to buy a new phone and use this one for Wifi/tinkering.
Like this dude knew how to reset network settings and thats it. Its like man ive done that +100 more things to try and get it to work. I even manually put in APNs and selected T Mobile as the network (it registered on network but still no data)
So I dont know if that means the phone is good and its the carrier? Or does that mean that even if the carrier is good and the phone is registered it still won't work. Anyway it's not really a mystery worth solving for 35gb storage.
Man I want that new One Plus with 5g and android 11 though
Ive also thought about ordering this phone though. Can't break, water proof, $130 and no carrier bullshit. Like I can fix my own connection issues if all of the options on the phone arent disabled so that I have to rely on shitty customer service that doesn't work.
Might not be your phone. Could be the tmobile signal in your area right now. Your nearest cell phone towers might be having problems and you're not getting a strong signal. Sounds like your phone is locking onto some bands that might not be the best atm. Can use an app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.android.telnet to see your nearest tower and what bands your phone is locking onto. Another way to test to see if it's your phone or the tower would be if someone you know near you also has metro and is having same problems.
I have Prime. I've had Prime for like 10 years and had that card for 3-4 years. Never had a fee.
The only thing that changes if you cancel Prime or close your Amazon account is that you go from 5% rewards on Amazon and Whole Foods to 3%.
Here's a page from Amazon with some info: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Prime-Rewards-Visa-Signature-Card/dp/BT00LN946S
And here's more info about how to keep 5%: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202109390
NordVPN and ExpressVPN don't count towards tethering data. I was able to get a NordVPN account on eBay for $4.
Also the video isn't limited to 480p, it's limited to 2mbps. I can stream 720p just fine and 1080p with minimal loading before the video plays. Trying to stream live TV or 2k/4k is difficult.
> anker fast charger with quick charge 3.0
Can’t beat this $300 for a new v30 LG. All bands, top specs , works well on mpcs LG V30 H932 Dual Camera 4G LTE 64GB Silver (T-Mobile) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079ZZKMGY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_wMCJCbC4J5NWJ
And by the way I use VPN for my browsing and have noticed that I can get HD video without paying $10 extra. I know it's a loophole and I'm sure they will eventually figure out a way to block contact and video use over it... But I am not sure how they would do that? Got any info on that? I can stream 4k over NordVPN.
