I'm really glad I found this subreddit. You guys have helped so much with this game. I've now looped once and holy crap is it hard. haha
Here's a clip of me hitting Level Ultra and just spamming auto crossbow. Freaking truck took me out. :(

It just doesn't work well on newer operating systems. But no worries, I've got you covered; did a bit of google searching and found a patched executable that's worked for me in the past. See if this does it for you.
How often do you reach loop ~~24~~ 27, which is the first loop where maggots have more than ~~6~~ 7 HP (which is how much Gamma Guts can save you from without Scarier Face while moving)?
(calculated with this fish script: set hp 2; set i 0; while true; set i (math $i + 1); echo "Loop $i"; set hp (math $hp \* 1.05); echo "HP $hp"; end
)
Hi!
I drew this by hand (light sketch, then heavier pencil once I was happy with the shaping, then ink), then scanned it in, cleaned it up and coloured it using Paint.NET (available here, if you were interested: http://www.getpaint.net/index.html)!
Pretty much, but also include a text file filled with commands like this so people can easily load the skin in-game:

Here's the Custom Graphics FAQ that goes into a little more depth.
I used IOGraphica. The circles represent the mouse standing still.
I'm looking into seeing if there is a way to track the mouse clicks instead of stillness, since there isn't really any reason to see where you didn't move in a game where you are almost always moving.
So you want middle mouse to activate your ability but not switch weapons? If that's right then create an autohotkey file and paste this into it:
MButton::RButton
Once you run it middle mouse should perform the function of right click (your ability) and it won't switch weapons when you click it. Scrolling will still switch weapons though.
Maybe through Steam Link but that requires you to be on the same wi-fi network as a computer that's currently logged into your steam account (and a bluetooth controller), so it won't be available on the go with this method. Otherwise, I don't think there is any other viable method.
Do you mean to use the characters as app icons? If so, then you just need the image you want to use, and a custom Launcher such as Nova Launcher to set those images as the app icon. What I did in this case though is different, I put transparent widgets on top of the characters on the wallpaper, and set the widgets to launch respective apps. Sorry if I'm giving you the wrong, let me know if I'm unclear or if you need any help.
Nuclear Throne from the Epic Games Store works perfectly for me on Catalina (including bluetooth gamepad support).
The Steam version does not work for me.
You would need to extract, edit, and then import the new spritesheet. With NTT its much easier to my knowledge but I dont know what you would need to do.

Theres a gif of what it looks like when I try to run it with steam_api.dll
It looks like it starts up in the background processes and just disappears in a split second.
Also I'm running Windows 10 Pro
>I believe you, sorry if I came of rude.
You didn't.
Well i have the epic game store version. I kinda doubt they are different. But maybe they really are. When you right click it in the game list you can choose "browse local files" and when you get info on the app you can check to see if it says version: 1.99.2 (It's 184,3MB)
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/nuclear-throne/home
Same price as steam and can be launched directly if you really can't get it to work with steam.
If you've got the game on Steam, you can setup Nuclear Throne Together and do /savesprite mapIcon
to export that parrticular graphic. See FAQ for more details.
Have you played Spelunky? It's definitely one of my top 5 games with interesting achievements, addictive/fast-paced gameplay (the current time WR for the game is 1 minute and 39 seconds, and the usual run takes around 20-40 minutes), and loads of secrets. I have 219 hours in the game and I haven't even done everything yet.
There's a demo/free classic version you could try but keep in mind there's less content, less good graphics, and the physics are way less satisfying. So if the only thing putting you off about the game in the classic version are some of those things then you will probably like the newer HD version.
I was thinking something using this color pallete: http://paletton.com/#uid=10L0u0kmTordkz6iDsbqxkcvpf2 or this one http://paletton.com/#uid=13+0u0krugqhsqimplfx7bqJz6D (Altho this seems similar to the popopupper).
Also please make Crystal's "C skin" where she's a lightning crystal like the champion enemy.
I used MagicaVoxel! It's a great program for making voxel art. I recommend to press the commands button at the top of the page, that will tell you alot of important information not included in the download. Also extract the files out of the winrar first, so you can properly save your progress!.....^^I ^^found ^^out ^^the ^^hard ^^way
I recommend getting Paint.NET as MSPaint does not support transparent background, which you will need.
First just make the sprite for your weapon, single frame. Then resize the canvas to be 7 times wider but just as tall as before. Then put the weapon sprite in the very left, and this will serve as the first frame. Copy that 7 times across the whole canvas. The second sprite should be completely white, even the outline, and the rest of them you can animate however you want.
