Here is a list of his abilities and their description, from here.
Hand Cannon: Doomfist fires a short-range burst from the knuckles of his fist. Its ammunition is automatically regenerated over a short time.
Seismic Slam: Doomfist leaps forward and smashes into the ground, knocking nearby enemies toward him.
Rising Uppercut: Doomfist uppercuts enemies in front of him into the air.
Rocket Punch: After charging up, Doomfist lunges forward and knocks an enemy back, dealing additional damage if they impact a wall.
The Best Defense...: Doomfist generates temporary personal shields when he deals ability damage.
Meteor Strike: Doomfist leaps into the sky, then crashes to the ground, dealing significant damage.
I dunno, if you watch the ability preview she sort of has to get close and channel hack for a second https://playoverwatch.com/en-gb/heroes/sombra/
I don't see tracer or genji staying still long enough for that to happen. Ult seems crazy for sure though
Had to do a hard reset to get it to show up. Updating right now.
I don't notice any difference. No doomfist. No reticle options. Possibly new loot box changes? Maybe new highlights features?
Edit: Okay so I've been messing around in the practice range and I think they changed linear ramp. I've been playing on it since the day it came out and it feels a lot better to make small adjustments now. Could just be the placebo effect after reading the comments here so be warned.
Edit #2: After further testing, it's definitely not loot box changes or highlight changes.
Edit #3: Patch notes
I checked the patch notes out of curiosity and it turns out it isn't a bug: > Can now be interrupted when Mercy is knocked back, stunned, or hacked
Which means they should definitely change things so her animation cancels on being booped. I think proper visual feedback when a rez fails would be a good idea generally, too.
Definitely ping. If you can I'd definitely get on a lan line. I bought 100 feet of cat6 for $15 on amazon.
Here's a link if you're interested. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003RCEAB8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_1enwBbA197044
I personally use, and recommend, the PlayStation Gold headset. It's wireless and the mic is built into the headset. I've never had a complaint. Also, Wal-Mart currently has them for $70.
Also, since this is console I'll add that some people might not have the equipment for mic chat. I bought this for under $15 on Amazon Prime and it works great (there is no monitoring, ie you can't hear your own voice in the audio mix but that's fine for this price). They are super light and comfortable, they don't hurt your head even after wearing them for hours, you can move the mic out of the way if needed, convenient volume control and mute button, and the cord is nice and long.
This is working as intended, read the patch notes ( https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/game/patch-notes/ps4 )
"Mercy
Caduceus Staff Increased visual readability of Mercy's healing and damage boosting beams Resurrect Cast time increased from 0 seconds to 1.75 seconds Mercy's movement speed is now reduced by 75% while casting Can now be interrupted when Mercy is knocked back, stunned, or hacked" - take note of this line especially
Widows grapple. The amount of times I've hit that postbox on the 1st capture point of Kings Row when I was aiming for the window up top. Ugh.
But isnt there currently a setting on PTR that lets you adjust that? I'm sure I read that you can now change the sensitivity of abilities or something, like Zarya's shield, Ana's boost etc.
Edit:
https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/20529203#patchnotes
Yep, but you're talking about something slightly different now that I think about it. Mei wall wouldn't be fixed by this.
I bet you would still have an interesting perspective on tanks since you used to main them, If you feeling like dropping us a line you can do that here. We will air the message during the show.
All the other top comments are wrong. It used to give you your last season SR back in a range of +/- 200 SR (something like that) until SEASON 6 (sauce: https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/21033639#whatsnew).
Your performance matters the most, Tracer is played a lot so you're being compared with a lot of other players, that's all.
I was talking about what they change from s3 to s4, but it got released after I posted it. Its this : https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/20580588 in case you didnt see it. Basically they change reward for top 500(need to be in top 500 at the end of season to get it) and rank decay went from at least 1 match per week to not decay to 7 matches per week now.
aFreakOfNature just linked my post which covers a lot of it.
I'm not good, but I'd personally recommend setting aim smoothing to 0 so your aiming isn't filtered. This makes the stick movements you make immediately register the speeds you selected rather than build up to it so it feels more responsive.
I'd recommend using Linear Ramp and setting the maximum sensitivity you want(don't worry about precise movements). I'm not a terrible fan of Dual Zone because the jump in acceleration is jarring, but that's my opinion, I'd also recommend using the same X/Y sensitivities because different values affects your diagonal movement. Use whatever ratio is comfortable for you though.
For precision, use the aim ease slider. Increase it until you feel like you can make the smaller movements you want easily. The slider covers a huge range so 100/100 sensitivity can be pretty easily manageable with personalized settings.
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/bp2ugcb8yl This is a graph showing the range the aim ease slider changes with Linear Ramp with the current deadzone.
I don't really have any recommendations on aim assist.
I bought this, and it really helps. You can crank your sensitivity much higher and still be accurate. It takes a bit of getting used to (like any adjustment), but in my opinion, it's worth it. https://www.amazon.com/KontrolFreek-GALAXYPS4-FPS-Freek-Galaxy/dp/B016P09VFS/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/136-8420905-6545952?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B016P09VFS&pd_rd_r=c03ec168-4fb5-45fc-8a8c-aadba041c114&pd_rd_w=t5Fhe&pd_rd_wg=dgMk7&pf_rd_p=42339929-297e-4141-b7b2-fe55db70f4b7&pf_rd_r=2QHS5NGS9N1SZWD4FHPK&psc=1&refRID=2QHS5NGS9N1SZWD4FHPK
I just bought these for $8 on amazon. took a month to ship but work just fine for me (occasionally overheat or w/e but that's expected with over the ear headphones tbh).
i didn't either before two weeks ago, I am really impressed though.i bought one that was capable of 2 G/s which was overkill (unless you stream internally) and i only paid like 80 bucks off amazon. it looks like the 200 Mb/s ones are on prime sale for 25 bucks.
I’m talking about these things
Great guide my friend and I would also like to add that these thumbstick extenders were absolute game changers for me.
I absolutely couldn’t fathom playing without them now.
You don't need to do that, get something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/VIOY-seaside-vacation-flowers-protection/dp/B07G37DJ8R/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1FJ7233EH081P&keywords=ethernet+over+power&qid=1656955591&sprefix=ethernet+over+power%2Caps%2C73&sr=8-4

It allows you to plug one end by the router and one by your gaming system, plug a cable in both ends and it uses the copper in your house as the ethernet cable. You can then use ethernet cable anywhere in the house :)
im really unfamiliar with how console works--- whatever brings results when you search on this website:
https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/search
... could you let me know which one works so when i make the post on /r/overwatch i know what i'm talking about XD
Role: Support
Difficulty: 2/3 Stars
Moira’s biotic abilities enable her to contribute healing or damage in any crisis. While Biotic Grasp gives Moira short-range options, her Biotic Orbs contribute longer-range, hands-off damage and healing; she can also Fade to escape groups or remain close to allies in need of support. Once she’s charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies.
Abilities
Biotic Grasp: Using her left hand, Moira expends biotic energy to heal allies in front of her. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies’ health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy.
Biotic Orb: Moira launches a rebounding biotic sphere; she can choose between a regeneration effect that heals the allies it passes through, or a decay effect that deals damage to enemies.
Fade: Moira quickly teleports a short distance.
Coalescence: Moira channels a long-range beam that both heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage her enemies.

Ive mostly played Quick Play with randoms, but just started dabbling in Competitive this season, currently 2164 after a few matches.
I prefer support/healing, im best with Zenyatta, Lucio and Mercy (dont use Ana because i cant snipe for shit), and can tank as Reinhardt or D.Va if needed. Just looking for other mature players to play Quick Play matches or even Competitive, though im pretty new to that.
You won because you killed all of the contestants. On their turn to attack it appears as though they captured 0.0%, which means that either they never stepped on the Capture Point. Or you guys contested it the entire time that they did (which I think wouldn't matter, they'd still get a free initial percentage of like 3% or 5%.. I forget).
Basically they capped 0%. So on your turn, all you had to cap was more than 0%. Since they all died and were unable to contest you, you guys immediately won (because you immediately capped >0%).
It's confusing and it's also why Blizzard is changing the required minimum to 33%.
Not trying to be rude. I know people have busy lives with school, work and family (I certainly do.) But if you enjoy Overwatch and would like to feel knowledgeable and become better at the game, you need to read the Patch Notes. Every time. Here are the most recent updates, which describe what I tried to explain above.
I hope I've been able to help.
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/n84sco6vqc
I made a graph with estimates for the options.
A deadzone option hasn't been added yet, but that will let you see how it changes. The console deadzones is ~16%, while the PC is about 26%.
The Aim Ease option was said to range from x^1 to x^5, so I scaled it to fit that range. Aim ease at 0 = 1 and aim ease at 100 = 5. Dual Zone and Linear Ramp are both linear curves, so the curves should be accurate for them. Exponential is said to be about 2.2 and that seems to be what it starts at. I just had it start there and increase further as the slider raises. Not sure if that one is correct.
There is no outer deadzone option given, but the acceleration jump for Dual Zone happens about at 92%(this is slightly different for PC, which isn't shown in the graph). I don't know if that applies to Linear or Exponential(since they're no clear jump) so I added an option here to show where it would cap.
I don't know how big an increase the jump in Dual Zone is so I just guessed what the general curve sensitivity is. I added a slider to mess with it yourself. Additionally, the jump probably has some slight build up time(smoothing) so it's not an immediate increase as shown.
Aim smoothing can't be easily shown. It causes your turn acceleration to increase over time, so the only real stat it might have is the length of time it takes before it hits the speed you selected. Broadly, if it's at zero, then whatever acceleration you select with occur immediately. Anything higher takes time to build up to that speed.
You could probably just test the aim assist for yourself. This video here has a decent demonstration of the window though, though not quite as in depth as you would like.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRS54CZTDpo
Btw, anyone still reading this stupid thread I was a part of, here's a breakdown of Blizzard's skill rating system, the MMR from Blizzard themselves. They use variants of this in all their games. Overwatch happens to have a sub-division of this which is the SR system, giving you an easy to grasp number signifying your skill in a more narrowed down level as opposed to just being Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.
This sounds like it might be a setting in your PS4’s parental controls. I don’t know much about these settings so I did a quick search online and found a setting that might be causing this but it’s hard to tell for sure.
If there are parental controls setup by your parents, guardian, or anyone for that matter then I think there would be a passcode that might prevent you from looking for this setting to change it but yolo check anyway because this is dumb that you can’t see group names in game...
Go to your console’s Settings menu.
Click on the “Parental Controls/Family Management” option. If there is a passcode setup then this is where you might get stuck.
Then look for an option that says “Viewing Content Created by Other Players”. If this is a stand alone setting that happens to be enabled (box checked) then uncheck it. It’s hard to tell from this PlayStation article (where I got this info from) if there are individual settings in this section or not but if there is then look for a setting that might relate to something specific like “showing content that other users created in game” and disable/uncheck it...if there is.
Hope that helps :)

The code that's included is worth 15 bucks; my previous Hyper X Cloud is on par with this one but it requires a Y splitter which breaks after awhile; this headset has lasted the longest so far for me. Also very comfortable for long sessions, picks up directional sounds great so you can tell where footsteps are coming from. I'm shocked to see it at $40 already tbh... Pick this up!!
I used to run KontroFreeks on all my 360 control pads, but found similar items on Amazon that accomplish the same thing for much less. I got a set like these on my X1 https://www.amazon.com/AceShot-Lizard-Silicone-Precision-Antislip-Controller/dp/B00JQMV3F4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516120552&sr=8-1&keywords=xbox+one+stick+extenders
Should note though, the Y-splitter at the end is pretty cheap and stops working so I'd buy a backup. I went through 2 original Y-splitters from Hyper X until I bought 2 of these as backups. And now I haven't had any problems with the Y-splitter malfunctioning at all https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I3A47I4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I've been using for the past couple years. It's a computer chair and not a "gaming chair" but it's still really comfortable and I can sit in it all day and not feel sore. The mesh is AMAZING--it feels like you're sitting in a hammock. Definitely recommend!
I play on PS4 but that Xbox Elite controller looks reallllly nice especially with those back buttons. I did see this controller (NACON Revolution PRO Controller Gamepad PS4 Playstation 4 eSports Designed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXJF056/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-vUPzb81Z5237) that is basically the Xbox Elite for PS4 so yeah.
amazon us link - take your pick
Here's the link to the UK store to show the ones I bought. I think ORB do a similar set. Most of the ones on sale are ones with all the little dots all over which actually made my thumbs sore so I use the plain ones in this set.
As others have touched on, it's not gonna make any difference in regards to framerate. However, you can still reap some benefit in terms of response time. This one seems a good pick.
KontrolFreeks definitely are an improvement to gameplay, I've owned quite a few since Xbox 360. Personally though, I think these are more bang for your buck. I have a set since I first got my X1 and all of them are still in perfect condition (other than dirt). I didn't get this specific brand (I think mine are from Foamy Lizard), but they look just like this https://www.amazon.com/Gauntlet-PS4-Silicone-Thumb-Grips-BurnhamCOA/dp/B01J4K06TG/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1494525187&sr=8-15&keywords=thumb+grips
You get a whole set to fit your needs perfectly for probably at least 2 control pads for around 10 bucks.
Not sure i agree. I used the OG controller for 3 years and nothing broke; both elite controllers broke within 3 months of use.
I play with Scuf controller myself because I prefer the paddles on the back. My fiancé is a co-owner of a professional eSports organization called Onslaught eSports and they're partnered with Cinch so she uses one of their team controllers that has buttons on the back and she loves it! I've owned a Battle Beaver custom controller in the past which also uses buttons on the back. Their buttons felt a little different than Cinch but I ended up returning it after a week and ordered a new Scuf after realizing I just honestly prefer the paddles.
On a side note, if you're looking to get a custom controller but don't want to shell out $130+ than I've heard people talking about this new product that has paddles that attaches to you stock PS4 controllers for only $40. Here's a link in case you haven't seen it yet.
Right now, there are only two officially licensed products - the Raiju and the upcoming Nacon. There are also two controllers that aren't officially licensed, but also sold already.
The first one is the Hori FPS pad: https://www.amazon.de/Hori-Pad-FPS-Plus-PS3/dp/B0106XFCPI It's only 40 €, so I don't think it can really be a competition to the pricier pads. It got good reviews on German amazon though, but then again, they could just have been bought.
The second one is this Emio Elite pad: https://www.amazon.com/EMiO-Elite-Controller-PS4-Gaming-Console/dp/B01M0IJGBJ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482136115&sr=8-1&keywords=ps4+elite It's 90 bucks, closer to the Nacon at 110, but I haven't really read anything about this one. While I think that it looks cheap, it's interesting that it offers the same extras as the Xbox ONE Elite.
And yeah, I know what you mean. It bothers me that Scufs etc. are so pricy and not officially licensed.
Input lag is the same, none (I have a BenQ RL2455 1ms Gaming Monitor)though so if you want input lag reduction I highly recommend buying that. I didn't notice any frame drops at all it's a pretty smooth experience.
Diamond Player here
I play 35/35/100 on all my characters.
And I have this concave Kontrol Freak on my right stick.
For comp I've been using these wired headphones
And If you want to mute headphones like these hold down the main button while you plug them into the controller
Oh both are taller on the pair you chose. Yeah, left tall would be useful if you have large hands and small controller analogs cramp your hands...
Since you mentioned falling off, yeah it's a flaw, some come out of production with tighter clamps some don't. Anyway if in time you decide this mod is so good you don't want to play without it this product is one of the best solutions for permanently attaching it to the analog (it is supposed to disolve with alcohol so you could even remove it in the future): https://www.amazon.com/Sugru-Moldable-Glue-SBLK3-Black/dp/B01BFE0KNQ/
