Yeh, if you're banning people who don't post in your subreddit just because they post in another subreddit, you're spamming. The spam reports are stupid for saying that your YouTube links are spam, but you ARE a spammer. Unless I've totally misread what this means, you're basically doing the same shit that /r/me_irl mods do.
The whole consumer financial services industry is driven by referrals and commission. However, the mods want the community to take a leap of faith and trust them that stickying the post was an entirely innocent gesture.
I wonder if he has a cult following like his predecessor. He gets knocked around a lot by /r/conspiracy goons and so I am glad he doesn't shy away.
The new subscribers almost did not happen. The /r/technology mods tried intimidate me and disparage the truth about /r/oppression. I fought for my freedom. Ultimately I expect to be censored.
Mod appears to remove a post not for breaking any rules but because ....
and because
So it appears that the mods are using their opinion to decide what is technology and dictate the subjects of discussion. Censorship is alive and well.
They could have given a mundane reason like editorialised title but they choose to oppress the user and ridicule his submission and so elicit an emotional reaction. This also deters any attempt to repost on the subject again. It appears to be more than one moderator contributing to the thread and so I imagine this is one of those incidents where the whole mod team is having a laugh at this user from behind mod mail. This type of mod trolling usually results in the user reacting badly and getting banned.
The recent moderator invites to /r/oppression makes sense now.
I am sure reddit benefited greatly from some original content posted to multiple subreddits but it raises questions about how often things like this happen and trust.
I can see admin sniffing around this one. Here is an archive just in case
I think it is better when mod teams are upfront about it .
That said, it looks like someone is covering it up now with a mass removal of user and mod comments.
Lucky we got an archive.org snapshot.

oppression will not go undocumented

> I am hated by many, especially comrade Pang Dehuai, his hatred is so intense that he wished me dead. My policy with Pang Dehuai is such: You don't touch me, I don't touch you; You touch me, I touch you. Even though we were once like brothers, it doesn't change a thing. > > If we did ten things, nine were bad and got disclosed by the newspapers, we will be over. Then I will go, to the countryside, lead the peasant and revolt. If the Liberation Army do not follow me, I will get the Red Army.
He sounds like a few paranoid schitzes i've met throughout the years. He still shouldn't be banned though. Even Amazon.com allows crazy people to publish their zany books.
