Wait where?? I have this exact backpack for my cat, bought it a while ago for $70 in US!
Edit: I bought it off some weird site before the whole cat backpack phase. Amazon looks like it’s come out with a “second gen” that has an extra bubble. Here’s a link to the first gen :) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PBNS5R5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9wxUDbBQS4PTC check reviews definitely! But not $300!
My sister got them for me and she said you can find them on amazon!
I found a different version since everyone is requesting link. I might get this one,
Bird Window Play Center for Small to Medium Birds https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KU387M4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AhJbEb9DKDCGZ
I searched using Amazon, I think this may be close enough for me for $30 bucks, Thanks!
Catit Flower Fountain: 3L Drinking Fountain with Triple-Action Filter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0146QXOB0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9WXlBbSBZGBXS
I would say a cage like this is strongly recommended for happy lovebirds, unless you’re letting them free roam your house a few hours a day and the cage is for sleeping only.
For less messy amazon links you can extract the part after "/dp/" in
https://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hendryx-3100B-Corner-Shelf/dp/B000FHEUBI/
and make it:
BEEP BOP
Plz send any recommendations via PM
I found a machine on Amazon that lets you expand birds (and only birds) up to 30 times their normal size. She now has the run of the house and there have been many causalities.
You can get the arcade machines here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y4DR4HP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
They're surprisingly good, fully functional and (so far) bird resistant. The pac-man one is a little difficult to control though.
It's acrylic and it does turn into a greenhouse effect! Make sure to keep pets in bags like this out of the sun, on cooler days, and get a little fan for the pocket that has mesh leading to the bag. I opted for a safe option in the Petsfit Bird Backpack. Has a perch (wrapped it in vet wrap), food bowl, and hole for a water bottle. The front is clear vinyl and has a shade flap, the sides are mesh with shade flaps, there are holes at the top for hanging toys and airflow, and it has a tray at the bottom for the P O O P. It's great! Expensive, but great!
This is what we use. It's quick, quiet, and only takes 2 or 3 small snips to shape the beak back to normal.
We got it on Amazon! The tube for the water was a little short, so we had to get another tube, but otherwise it works well!
Here’s the link!
Rupert loves those silly things! He's gone through so many of them. Do be extra diligent if your bird has a leg band, in case it's loose enough to catch on one of the paper sticks.

I removed the swinging perch because it was very wobbly and unstable, but you can fit lightweight perches through the holes on the sides if you don't attach the included food cups
Amazon! Lemme find the link.

Nanoleaf light panels . This is the rhythm kit which has a mic that allows them to react to music to play different patterns, although I don't think I had it doing that here. They're a little expensive but I love them, you can add any sort of mood to a room with them

I think you can buy a clear sticker that makes suction cups stick to surfaces as tiles and marbles. link This one even has a guy who left a review saying that he used ir for his shower bar
You must not have looked very hard because it’s on the first result page for the search “bird backpack”
I paid over 200 for my intuos 4 (no screen) back in like 2010. 250 for this gaomon with a screen is a fucking great deal.
The pan is something entirely different from Teflon. I bought one of those and it’s the greatest pan ever! It can take a beating and not a damn thing sticks to it.

My conure was about 1 year old when one onvthe kabob toys strangled him. Thankfully I work third shift and so I was nearby when it happened at 10 am in the morning while my wife was at work. He ate the kabob that I have him at 8 am and got the rope string into a fishing line thread. This thread got tangled so deeply around him he was being hung. I was bleeding by the time I got him free because of how panicked he was biting trying to get free. He would not move from my side for hours as he gasped for air. He's never trusted people the same way since. He only trusts me and my wife. Anyone else he attacks. Same with new toys. It's sad but he has a happy safe life now and he spends every moment with someone.
Avoid strings that aren't thick. Things such as coconut string can become fishing line after enough bites. Same with thread. Only use thick stuff that won't come apart. Mine loves plastic straws. He chews holes in t-shirts but only with supervision at night. He loves cardboard boxes and paper towel most. I just look for anything glue free such as paper plates. Avoid metal that can become a hook. A lot ofvroya use hooks. I avoid those because they will chew on them and cut inside their tongue.
Do not buy this toy.

This is the toy whose string almost killed my conure. It's a top seller on Amazon. :(
Amazon deleted my review and pictures warning people. It's sad but it is top seller and my conure played with 3 prior to the one who almost did him in. It's all about conures. They just hang too much and get tangled. Other breeds are fine for it.
Well fortunately for me I have these. :D https://www.amazon.com/EarDial-Ear-Plugs-Comfortable-High-Fidelity/dp/B00P2NTVPA/
Honestly I have a year worth of school to go, and after that I'll be moving to San Diego with my girlfriend. I don't have too much parrot experience, so I plan on seeing if I can volunteer at rescues and get it there. The three parrots I'm thinking of are eclectus, african gray, and blue fronted amazon. I don't want a parrot that's TOO loud, hence why eclectus is on my list; they're not supposed to scream as much as other parrots.
I like the personality of the african gray, but I'd also like to travel with my bird and I do know they tend to get anxiety. Also not sure how much dandruff I can handle. Though grays are much more common than the others.
Eclectus seem like they might be more eager to learn and not be as anxious. I know they have strict diets but I figure I could handle that in southern california since produce is cheaper and it's good year round. I'm worried about the long breeding season and their tendency to not show their stress.
Blue-fronted Amazon is what I always get on myrightbird.com, and I do have experience with yellow naped amazons since my grandmother kept one for years, so there's a strong nostalgia factor for them.
Ultimately though, I know with parrots it's kind of a "you don't choose bird, bird chooses you" situation so... yeah. I also hear it's better to get a baby bird for my first time, but I am thinking of instead seeing if I can adopt one that is over 20 and thus past it's teenage hormonal years and has taken the time to chill out a bit in that aspect.
I suggest this for a sleeping spot. The ones you find in stores (like these) can be hazardous or deadly. The only downside to the one I suggested is that birds sometimes like to chew the seagrass mat, but fortunately you can buy replacement mats. I put a decoy mat in my bird's cage and she seems pretty content chewing that instead.
