Her name was Susan Morris and was in my class that night she vanished at UWF building 13. I was also the one that reported to the Police as the last one to see her at Class break that night. She apparently left after break and I went back in. I saw the posters the next day and called in. She happened to have grown up down the road from me and we had a quick talk at the Vending Machine. I went to the trial. That guy also raped a girl about a month earlier in Panama City as well. Seriously evil soul on that guy.
She was very religious so her not showing up back at her parents home that night was not just unheard of but a sure sign that something bad went down. I think about her now and then when stuff like this comes up. It was a truly brutal, sick, and horrible end of a very wonderful person.
Have you checked Airbnb? There are a lot of places available for that weekend near the bay center.
Not my listing or anything, but one of the nicer ones I found that is really affordable.
People over on Nextdoor site/app are going a bit crazy over this thinking the strobe of the lightning flashes were too rhythmic to be natural. Yes there are no rhythms or regularly repeating cycles in nature ಠ_ಠ

Perdido River Nature Preserve has a really awesome trail. Lots of pines and flowers, great place to set up a hammock and relax, all the times I've gone I haven't seen anyone else. All trails is a great website for hiking and trails, here's a link with that trail and you can find others in the area. Their app is also great. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/alabama/perdido-river-nature-preserve
I assume they mean PulsePoint Respond: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.firedepartment&hl=en_US&gl=US

Then get a shorter higher lofted driver. Shorter woods. Add in a 7 wood. Get a new set of fit irons. Throw away the three and four irons. Add in a gap wedge.
I used this stuff once a week for 3 weeks over my entire yard with a spreader and then about once a month after that. Worked fantastic!

Electrical in this area is pretty bad, i would recommend this APC Battery Backup.
I would check out NewEgg and look into their gaming rigs.
I’ve been searching for the ultimate comfortable walking shoe that is stylish, comfortable, and doesn’t leave my feet aching at the end of the day. I’ve found the Skechers is the best brand that checks all these boxes for me and doesn’t break the bank. Had to retire a couple of old pairs and cal across the Skechers Go Walk duro which is water proof, I also picked up a pair of Go Walk Evolution Ultra - Impeccable which are more of a breathable mesh but super comfortable. I bought mine via Amazon Prime for about $50 a pair.
Duro https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YQPHSF6/
Impeccable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FKRG265/
Edit: I’m a bigger guy too, 250lbs so if they can be comfortable for me it should be like walking on a cloud if you’re lighter. I’d also keep in mind that with laceless shoes to error on the side on a half size smaller, I’m normally between size 11.5 to 12, since Skechers tend to be roomy and usually quite wide, 11.5 was perfect.
Those $5 blankets are $2.50 the day after Christmas. But you need to get there when they open.
But what would be warmer are the pocket mylar survival blankets which are also wind and waterproof. You can get 100 for $72.

If that's one of those pocket sized ones, they sell for about $1 last I checked. Very flimsy.
Now if it were one of the nice ones, that would be useful.
I have two antennae.
On our main TV, we have a powered 80-mile antenna mounted in the attic. We get about 25 channels in it, including stations out of Mobile.
For our other TVs, we have a smaller, simpler antenna that’s about the size of a sheet of a paper and we just stuck it to a wall in an inconspicuous spot.
These aren't what I ordered a few years ago, but very close to what I wear around the house: https://www.amazon.com/Protection-Computer-Readers-Glasses-Shatterproof/dp/B00BQ7KBV4/
My bike (and maybe driving ones? I keep forgetting to bring them in the car) are much more yellow: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WLCM76B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can do this yourself if you're willing to monitor the recording and are even decently tech savvy.
Here is what I use: I get no benefit from your purchase of this btw.

Unless you meant outside?
You can get pet trimmers on amazon that are very quiet.
Might take a little time to get them use to it.
This is the one I use: https://smile.amazon.com/ONEISALL-Cllippers-Rechargeable-Cordless-Electric/dp/B01HRSZRXM/
Some groomers will sedate your cat to groom them, and that's not something you want to do, especially on a senior cat.
Seems to be going around lately. An interesting one of note was Kodiak Alaska hit 67 degrees F the other day (beating the old record by 20 degrees).
Might have better luck here. Might go back and put your dates in. I just started next Friday and did a week.
I'm probably going to be there.
Meeting at Plaza De Luna (900 S. Palafox) at 2:00 pm this Saturday the 8th.
Link to the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168559626563047
EDIT
I just realized that this is a meeting to plan the actual assembly. Again.... this is an organizational meeting. I will probably still be there.
EDIT 2
The location for the meeting on the 8th has changed. I edited the post to show the new location.
Corelle for the win! Here’s this specific set. They’re typically called “old lady dishes” but they’re the bomb. Lightweight and durable! My wife and I specifically requested a set for a wedding gift.
You can go to indeed.com and check out employee reviews on it. Here, I made it easy for you. Not sure if that's the right one though.
If meetup.com is still a thing then I would suggest that. You can search for groups by topics of interest. For example, there is a Pensacola Board Gamers group last time I was on there as well as a group where a few people meet up and watch movies at the AMC on Bayou. I never went myself because I'm terribly socially awkward but hey, it's an idea! Oh Speaking of Horror movies, if you haven't seen it already, watch Event Horizon!
Go do the zipline at Adventures, there's a groupon for half price. make sure to tip your guides though! https://www.groupon.com/deals/adventures-unlimited-32-113
as far as bars and restaurants, go down to palafox street and check out Tin Cow for good messy burgers, Nom or Khon for asian eats, Whiskey Bar for awesome atmosphere and great drinks, or anywhere else on that stretch of the road.
You could also head out to the beach and explore fort pickens and eat any Peglegs or Flounders.
There are literally hundreds of geocaches around here. You need a gps, or something of the like to find them though. It's really fun. Usually there are just small trinkets inside that you can exchange and a notepad to write your name and exclaim your conquest :P
I'm a 20yo female student btw
I'm not entirely sure about the specific legalities because drones are so new, but there is this map that recommends not flying in most of Pensacola due to the airport and military bases in the area. And standard liability doesn't cover it if you're doing it commercially, as far as I'm aware.
But again, with drones being so new there is a lot of gray area and it doesn't seem like they are well regulated as of yet.
West Florida Literary Federation
Looks pretty cheap at $30 a year for a meeting once a month. You might also want to look around UWF and PJC campuses.
Sorry, looks like the solar panel I have is no longer on sale, but it was similar to this:
It won't power your home, but it's enough to keep your mobile devices (phones, laptops, tablets, etc) charged.
I'm in Ferry Pass.
When I'm getting all my channels that I can, I get...
3, 5, 10, 15, 18, 19, 21, 23, 28, 33, 35, 42, 44, 55 and 58.
It's ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW (if they're still calling it that) and two PBS stations. Plus assorted other local channels. I think in total I get 40 channels (obviously including the digital subchannels). But a lot of them are religious.
I use a flat outdoor style antenna but I have it indoors. (I didn't want to bother with the double grounding and worrying about lightning.) It looks like this. But the only way I get all those channels is by having the antenna on the west side of the house with as much of the antenna as I can in front of the sidelight next to the door. (I looked at a map and the broadcast towers are mostly all west of Pensacola.) It means the cable goes across the floor as the TV is on the east side of the house.and, yeah, it causes some tripping.
Though for the past week I notice that I lose a lot of those channels late at night.
When it comes to indoors, antenna placement matters. Higher is better. Windows are better.
I also had to get a booster. I wanted to get channel 28 as it's got the only non-religious Spanish language channel and it's at the very edge of the antenna's range. But the booster helped.
I've been thinking about upgrading the cable I'm using as that's also supposed to help.
I got some of this for my smelly 10 year old son’s shoes and I have to say it worked a lot better than I expected-
Natural Shoe Deodorizer Powder, Foot Odor Eliminator & Body Powder- for Smelly Shoes, Stinky Feet, Body Freshener. Use on Kids & Adults. Talc Free, Made in USA - FOOT SENSE (1 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O2DQO4C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FHjlFb88BS21Q
I home brew, though my equipment's still in boxes as we've only been living here in our house for about 4 months. I usually brew hefeweizens because the wife loves them.
It's very easy to get into and there are great kits for first timers available online. I believe there are a few brewing shops around here (still new to the area so have to research)
I highly recommend a kit like this
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0179ZH89Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_0kGFzbE9CWAYS
You will end up replacing a lot of it over time but this and a beer kit will get you up and running easily without missing some needed equipment, introduce you to brewing, and provide everything to make more beer if you like it.
Once you've gone through a brew with a kit like this, you'll be able to more confidently walk into a home brew store and purchase things you need. Plus you get beer! (About 50 bottles) have fun! Remember you're just boiling stuff, so no need to panic!
Try Dark Sky, probably the most accurate app on the market for predicting rain. While you will never get an accurate 7-day forecast for pensacola, this app will probably help a lot.
