National Geographic have this series called "Drugs Inc" and in the "Ecstasy" episode they actually follow some paramedics during ULTRA 2010, show some front line footage of what the festival looks like from their point of view, pretty eye opening stuff, paramedic even admits to hearing that "5 people died on the first night last year"... so yeah theres alot of crazy shit that goes on behind the scenes that they will never ever let the public no about.. and frankly i think thats for the best! anyways heres a link to the video the MIAMI footage begins about 37 minutes in.. but the episode is pretty interesting in itself..

People get their shit stolen wherever there are large groups of people... in tourists cities like Miami, Rome, New York, Paris... and it happens at sporting events, theme parks, concerts, bars on random Friday nights, etc. Its just a fact of life, something people in the world just suck

I listened to everything I could online, and Prydz honestly had the best set I heard all weekend. Fucking amazing track selection, high energy, and perfect mixing.

I heard him first back in October, and instantly became obsessed like you - I've noticed that Soundcloud doesn't have a lot of his live sets posted to feed the itch I have for his music, but there are a handful of good ones on Mixcloud.

I use Earasers I can have a normal conversation with the person next to me and I can still feel and hear the bass, My head just doesn't ring after the festival.

We bought one of these and they are perfect for festivals. It's basically a rubber holder for your phone that gives you a lanyard loop at the top so you can attach a lanyard to it and loop the other end around a belt loop.

I have the CamelBak Rogue, it has basically no compartments which allows for easy entry. And wouldn’t recommend storing anything on your back anyways with the amount of thefts this year. I bet you can find cheaper alternatives, but it has lasted me 7 different festivals so far so very happy with it!

If you are looking for the wiring for a hydration pack (like what is on the Lunchbox Packs) without paying their crazy costs, you can search for "EL Wire". Commonly used for decorations and in cars, which runs off an AA battery pack. It is the same product they use and most of the other LED sunglass companies wrap wires on them. Just buy the wire and make them yourself (if you feel like it).

Extra note: ALWAYS purchase extra battery packs and have them at your hotel. One of the people with me tested theirs before we left and it worked, but Thursday tried it again and it did not so Amazon next day was able to get a couple to her quickly.

I have one of these so it's pretty lightweight. Just for carrying around stuff like my passport, water bottle, portable charger, etc. during the day.

You could easily break the string, which I did each night, and always carry a spare with you for when you accidentally drop one.

However! They were decent, I would have preferred the foam ones I think.

If you don't want to spend a lot I'd recommend EarPeace or Eargasm ear plugs. I've used both and like them a lot.

See the difference? The acceptable one clearly shows it's only the size of the bladder and nothing else. Sure, it has a pouch to carry some small items, but that's it.

The unacceptable one can hold a bladder, probably a laptop, binders, etc. That's what they consider to be a backpack.

When they mean clear bags they mean it. With all that has been happening with shootings in Miami and around the United States they are cracking down. I went ahead of purchased this GoPro pole for my cam. Now the rules say the following: "Regarding action cameras – yes to strap headwear or non-extendable handles" This handle that I have does extend, however it has a locking mechanism where you have to twist it in order for it to extend. Do you guys think security will let it slide if I tell them it's not extendable? Was thinking of giving it to my GF maybe they'd let her slide rather some guy. I know it all depends on the person just want feed back. Worst case I'll leave it at the gate if I have to!
