I have last year's version of this laptop and I love it. I am in Computer Engineering, so I have used mine primarily to compile code and use the pen for OneNote

I just uploaded a pdf contact sheet of every member of the Senate budget committee.
FL Budget Committee contact list
Please feel free to call and email them. Keep contacts brief and to the point. Write down your points before you contact them to ensure that you hit them. Ideas for focusing your thoughts: We support the access students have to the premier faculty, staff and resources that USF currently provides. These cuts are extraordinary and excessively targeted at USF for reasons that have not been made clear, and will cause irreparable damage to the campus and student body immediately. Targetting USF in this way also causes significant economic hardship on businesses, particularly small businesses, that greatly benefit from having the robust university population in their region, and harming those businesses during a particularly difficult economic time will further depress the region at a crucial moment of potential growth.
Good luck.
The sheltered college freshman! My favorite is the first one "Girl in high school who wouldn't have sex because she was saving herself, has sex with 27 guys in college" http://www.buzzfeed.com/fjelstud/meme-watch-sheltered-college-freshman
They aren't that expensive on Amazon.
Most of my professors so far only allow Calculators that are allowed on the FE. as /u/DrJamaican mentioned, get a good calculator that is allowed on the FE and learn how to use that as you would breathe. I usually recommend the Casio FX991EX, it does spreadsheets and 4X4 matrices and the display and overall functionality is amazing compared to it's only real competitor the TI-36x Pro. The only thing the TI does better is keep memory of operations between power cycles. If you are gonna graph any for a class it is gonna be using MATlab or some other software package. So save yourself the money on a graphing calc and buy two great scientific calculators (always need a backup).
You can get a decent quality one from amazon for not that much $320 for bed and platform. I have this in the king size but so worth it... I like my mattress a little more firm but still flexible, this one works wonders for my back. www.amazon.com/dp/B005A4OP0C/ref=twister_B015TZFYLA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’m looking for some that I’ll be able to wear over my glasses. You don’t think that these would be a problem right? Safety Goggles
Preventing mosquito bites is kind of hard in Florida during the wetter seasons. They breed in standing water, so if you notice any deep puddles or water where it shouldn't be, perhaps you could try reporting that to maintenance staff. There's always bug spray, but if you want to try something else, citronella bracelets can be pretty effective. If you've been bitten, After Bite has worked well for me at relieving the itch.
No you're fine. I don't think I've ever used a textbook in the first week of college. Most of the info you need should be provided on the powerpoints or easily googleable. Also, try typing the textbook name into https://libgen.is/ you will normally find the book or an older edition of it which shouldn't be that different. Absolute worst case, you can message someone from the class and ask them to send you pics of the pages you need.
Who else is teaching it? I know that Upadhaya is good at teaching but he makes the class more in depth and tougher, here’s his ratemyprofessor - http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=372680

Also, "Pre-Med" isn't a major at USF, so you will have to choose a major (I was Integrative Animal Biology because of the freedom of choice for my electives, but most end up being Biomed).
1 and 2 are lower level 3 and 4 are upper level. Technically the higher the number, the harder the class, but keep in mind Organic Chemistry is only level 2 lol. Most 1 classes at USF don't fulfill requirements (this doesn't apply for all though) they were usually just prep courses for the level 2.
I had Ben Young and he's super cool, I didn't have him for AoK though, I had him for an ethics class. All honors college classes are laid out super different than most other classes, so it's usually more writing (though usually not hard so don't worry) and more participation.
All of these classes are pretty easy as long as you TRY. There will be a lot of bullshit assignments that you'll have to do and it's okay to complain about them but realize that these courses are your GPA padders, you need to get As in them. The way Gen Chem Lab is set up, it's not easy. It's like 4 actual labs over the course of the semester and you do one part each week. 2 labs were a group presentation and 2 were a lab report. All labs are run by TAs and honestly it just depends on how much of a hard ass your TA wants to be. Just keep on top of your assignments and pay attention in class and you should be good.
Castellanos knows his stuff and is over all a pretty chill dude. He goes over the material fairly fast, but provides all his lecture slides as well as most hand notes he creates in class. He has started making videos as well to accompany his lectures. He does not give you everything explicitly and requires you to do some independent research and collaborate with your fellow students. He provides plenty of opportunities for extra credit as well. Just finished his class yesterday. Over all a good experience.
If you want to get a jumpstart before starting the class, I highly recommend going over the first few chapters in Nand2Tetris as it will give you a decent introduction to digital logic and provides and environment to experiment in and gets you prepared for HDL style language for the Logic lab class you need to take after completing his class.
Also Falstad circuit simulator helps in confirming your homework assignments later on in the class.
Good Luck.
There's Airplay if you have an apple tv. It works on the older ones which are only like $100.

There's also airbeam and mirroring360 if you wanna save some bull bucks.
Yea I’ve been super productive ever since I started using it. I made room code:
Plant trees with me on Forest! Enter room code:3B8JSNX, or join by tapping here: https://www.forestapp.cc/join-room?token=3B8JSNX.
If the laptop/computer monitor has an hdmi port you can get one of these and plug it straight into your ipad. https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Certified-Converter-Charging-Projector/dp/B0881N2VCV/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=hdmi+to+ipad&qid=1632936164&sr=8-3
my recommendation would depend on what your price range is. for a laptop you arent going to want to pay less than like 700$. most gaming laptops from name brans will do. This laptop is on the lower end of what you want to buy: https://www.amazon.com/TUF-IPS-Type-Display-i5-8300H-Keyboard/dp/B08T1KMQ9T/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1631551826&refinements=p_89%3AASUS%2Cp_n_feature_twenty-three_browse-bin%3A13580790011%2Cp_n_size_browse-bin%3A2242801011%7C2423841011%7C7817234011&rnid=2242797011&s=pc&sr=1-4
Specifically the specs you want:
Processor (important) nothing less than an I5.
GPU (important) any Nvidia gaming 2000 or 3000 series should be good enough.
RAM: AT LEAST (16GB)
screen size: the bigger the better. probably no less than 15 inches. I wouldn't waste the money on a touchscreen but it can be nice to have.
Hard drive space doesn't matter, but you want a solid state drive.
Keyboard: its ABSOLUTELY necessary that it lights up fancy colors. if you don't have a light up rainbow keyboard then you might want to consider a business degree instead.
I prefer these to power strips, but it will depend on how far away from the outlets you need to be plugged in. USB power plug regular outlets, no cord to trip on!

r/SAT would be helpful for SAT prep; this book was fantastic for math prep; i went from a 640 to an 800 on the math section with it and erica meltzer's great for the english sections
Oof, sorry, I meant more like interior/exterior/common space/non-office windows, unless you have an office/lab you are in with windows. I used to use the windows in my lab as a white board all of the time, wasn't an issue and we used higher vis dry erase markers (like these: https://www.amazon.com/1752226-Markers-Bullet-Assorted-5-Count/dp/B0033AGVVG). Had about 5 windows covered on the 2nd floor of ENB with neon dry erase and it was clearly visible both inside and whilst approaching the building. No one ever complained and we never had any problems. I imagine as long as you are out of the way, not in the bushes/destroying the grounds, and not physically using someone else's office/business window then it would be fine. I can't say I know of a ton of places that this could be done but definite ENC has a 2nd floor balcony with with an entire glass wall and the interior portion is already used as a study area. I didn't think I should have had to clarify, but definitely don't use the window to someone's office/classroom. Similarly ENB has an interior hallway facing ENC on the 2nd floor with a ton of windows (not the bridge) that is out of the way of offices and labs.
i have the segway ninebot es4 and so far i love it. it’s one of 2 you can order from amazon, mine was at the mail center 3 days after i purchased it. there’s some maintenance things you have to do when you first get it (add loctite to/tighten some bolts and oil the wheel bearings) so it doesn’t make any creaking sounds but it’s quick (does 20mph) and has more than enough range (about 27 miles) for getting around the school. 10/10 would recommend, improves on-campus living soooooo much
I would venture to say most of the area between Bruce B Downs and 19th Street (E-W)/ Bearss and Fowler (NS) are not excellent areas to be walking around. SOME good places to eat and the Fletcher Walmart is very sketch, but you should be alright. Don't leave anything outside that's not attached to the ground or too large to snag. Not even locked up bikes. They'll get stolen. Generally as with anywhere just be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine. This may be my NRYAY brain speaking but also apply for CCW if you're 21+ and/or carry some pepper spray (especially if you're under 21) if it makes you feel more secure. Some brands I highly recommend if you go that route are POM and Sabre Red (Amazon links to the specific ones I've tried). Overall, it's not the safest area but it's not at all the worst. Just be safe and conscious of your actions and those around you.
Hey there, im not really sure about the motherboard, but i looked at your parts list and i would definitely recommend a different monitor. With spending around 200$ you should look for a 144hz monitor that supports freesync, since nvidia graphics cards can now be enabled with freesync monitors. Id recommend something like this which is popular for around that price https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYHZ6R6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DJeRDbD6B9AFT
my bike survived outside castor for a year with this bad boy on it. It's pretty small, too. Cable locks are super easy to cut.
