Here's the rest for those who are interested
They also noted "If there are seven schools to choose from, but only three are really viable, then you don't have seven choices, you have three."
I hope this means some serious overhauls to school identity.
You're not the only person to come up with this theory, but the simple fact is that it's incorrect. The writers actually addressed this.
Q: Did Morganthe have any hand in the Malistaire arc? (There are rumors she poisoned Sylvia, etc.)
A: No.
Morganthe resurrected Malistaire for the simple reason that she needed his help with the Lords of Night. It had nothing to do with her hatred of him.
This is an answer from Sparck, an Administrator from KI:
"We do not support an account being used by two persons, but we won't outright ban you for doing so. Please keep in mind though that accounts across countries and using different credit cards and such may be flagged as suspicious and cause the account to be locked. You would then need to speak to support to try and get it unlocked."

Questing isn’t really any different for the most part. They randomly nerfed crit after the spring update but now it’s back to essentially the same it has been for months although you might see mobs/bosses critting and blocking a little more.
this is the best thread I've found on world length: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/ravenwood-commons/world-length-scale-8ad6a425641c4183016439db5ae37c46

>BTW idk how that would work in a pvp setting as it would kinda be a unfair advantage
Not really. Each school is getting spells that counter other schools, so it even out.
>I feel like a system like this would need to be tested in a pve setting first
Because of how these new utility spells work, it's better to test these in pvp first, then tweak them for pve later. In pve, using these spells against enemies as they are currently would be practically useless, as these spells rely on certain utilities to be active in order to use. Lets take overtime heal for example (HoT). HoT is life's gimmick, and death>life, so death gets utility that converts HoT into a different utility. Except you hardly face any enemy in pve that uses HoT, so death can't really use their new utility spells.
Another reason it wouldn't work in pve right now is because of how the meta works and what players know and stick with, which is alpha striking into an aoe. So until they change the formula and revamp the meta completely, most players, if not all, will just stick with alpha striking and never use the new utility spells.
>What questing changes are they making? Is this all test realm stuff or just future plans on the website?
This link talks about their plans on pve, and this link explains ro-sham-bo. As for now, the roshambo spells are pvp only, and it's still in test realm (along with other fall test realm stuff like the new world of Lemuria).

"There may be some lost pets to help find on your adventures, and I personally cannot wait for you to meet Lizzo FireSpitter in Firecat Alley (Clarification: Pop culture reference, not in collaboration with any real-life person or celebrity)!"
I say start again. You can take your time slowly with the free levels and once you run out, you can go to Castle Tours and see all the cool new houses being made. Some have custom mazes, things that grants freebies, and if you're friends with someone that has a gauntlet, they're f2p so you can enjoy those too.
Pro-tip: When you do the quizzes for crowns, save them up to buy a month of pre-paid membership from the crown shop instead of buying zones That way for the entire month you have access to the full game. Once the month expires, save up crowns and buy another one.
Dollar-for-dollar using a membership to play is much cheaper than buying the zones and if you save up your money you can try to snag a membership when it's on sale at $5/$7 a month.
Just do quizzes until you have enough crowns to buy a 1 month subscription from the crown shop.
Membership opens allows access to the entire game for the time period and if you get it on sale it's only about $7 a month. You don't need crowns if you have a membership.
Here is a good Final Bastion article that explains the rules and formulas behind spell damage and their costs.
Here is the Dev Diary on W101's website that explains the spell audit and also lists the "base" DPP for each school. There is also a link to this Dev Diary in the Final Bastion article. Note that the "enhanced" damage curve is also used by lore spells that have -5% accuracy than normal - Ratatoskr's Spin for example.
Here’s the patch notes from right after the update too. A few spell changes but more PvP based: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/halstons-laboratory/game-update-for-may-5-2021-8ad6a424793b9b3a01793d82223a6996?page=1
For real, like they can just look here: https://www.wizard101.com/game/updates
We get two big updates and an expansion pretty much every year.
There's no lack of content.
this one is bare bones and final bastion has pretty pictures. In both cases they may be out of date with spell changes and such, I’m not sure whether mobs are effected by for example the sirens change.
Unicorn- increased heal from 275 to 465; spell accuracy decreased from 100% to 90%

Here's a good link to 2008 forum question, around the time pips were introduced. I couldn't find the patch notes mentioning it. But it was in 2008 for sure, when they released them.
https://www.wizard101.com/forum/ravenwood-commons/power-pips-2819
Good news for you, games still up running and getting updates! Definitely still worth playing and still fun. From when you last played you can quest through ~7 new worlds you haven’t played before. From this previous spring update, they implemented a feature for finding questing buddies so I doubt you would be alone most of the time. Sure, there may not be as many players as there was 10 years ago, but still a good handful amount. There has been so many updates from then I don’t think I could fit everything to catch you up in 1 message. I recommend looking up update logs for the game here
This is the "Advanced Move" feature added as part of the Spring 2020 update. We now have a near-unlimited capacity to move furniture up, down, and all around our houses now. When you are moving furniture now there should be a third smaller arrow button to the right of the "Move" button. Click this button to open Advanced Move for the selected piece of furniture.

This Dev Diary?
It's something they want to do - but currently PVP being free is temporary. It says so right in the Dev Diary
"So, although the exact terms of Free-to-Play for 5th Age are still under discussion, we have decided to immediately but temporarily open up free PvP to all players of L20 and above."
If anyone hasn't seen the Test Realm Update Notes yet, they can be found here.
The biggest drawback of this update is probably the significant nerfs to shadow spells. I made a post on W101C highlighting the changes and giving my thoughts here.
tl; dr, in PvE, say goodbye to FFA, Rusalka, Caterpillar, Weaver, and if you were somehow using it before, Gaze of Fate. Also, it really sucks to be myth.
It's definitley possible, back in feb 2014 KI reduced the level requirement for zafaria to under 60 in response to people having to grind xp just to do main story progress. I explicitly remember having to do grizz and wintertusk just to get to zafaria back in the day.
I mean...I'll just leave this here and back away...
"While developing Wizard101, the ultimate Wizard game for kids, we realized the style and content of the game would appeal to all ages, and wanted to ensure it was safe for kids. As a result of our young audience, we decided to incorporate safeguards that make online play in our Wizard games for kids a generally safe and positive experience (especially when dealing with other players). "
https://www.wizard101.com/game/kid-safe
I suppose you could link to their spots about "all ages" but generally that just means that it focuses on kids, and then has some stuff for adults.
As long as you download it from this link https://www.wizard101.com/game/how-to-download and use your own account (newly made or pre-existing) you are fine to go. No malicious programs are present in the current official version of Wizard101.
New world (Polaris) that a lot of people dislike because it was too short, but there are some bosses in it that drop nice gear. New astral spells in Polaris. Level cap is 110 now, recently there were some changes to pvp (criticals only do 25% more damage now, they still do 2x in pve), there's a new elixir you can buy for 30,000 crowns that jumps a character straight to level 50. New items called jewels that you can attach to your gear that give extra stats. Also I'm not sure when fishing came out but it might have been after khrysalis part 2, basically you can fish now in bodies of water and you can sell the fish or use them in lots of crafting recipes. Talks that the next world will be Mirage. There's lots of other stuff I am not remembering. Low level pvp is still viable. Membership is worth it if you play a lot.
I would recommend going here: https://www.wizard101.com/game/community/update-notes/august2016 and scrolling through the different months to see what you missed
As far as a graphical rework, I wouldn't mind but it'd be cool to have a toggle to go back to the current look and whatever the new look would be. I like how the game looks currently.
The game launcher for the test realm is separate from the launcher you use for the live game. You can find the download link for it on this page of the Wizard101 website. As per the conditions you need to have either a membership or made a crowns purchase in the last 30 days to access the test realm.
The test realm is typically offline on weekends, so you won't be able to log-in on Saturdays and Sundays. That page I linked (and the test realm launcher itself) will tell you if the test realm is online or offline.
Here is the link to the customer portal
They'll have a tab called "Contact Us" where you can ask for a character transfer.
Remember to include the username for your original account, the username for the old account, and the character name.
Ingame Names aren't unique, you have an option of a First Name and SirName in this game, so many people have the same names. If you mean account username to sign in, that isn't visible to anyone except the creator of the account so we wouldn't be able to help there either.
So to clarify, you do NOT have a Wizards101 account, but you found a payment receipt in your email?
Is this a recent payment receipt? Is there any chance this email is being used by someone else, or has been compromised?
If it's not compromised, and you truly believe it was accidently typed in and that he has the wrong email assigned to his account then I would contact support.
If you change the password, and log into his account online the only way to remove your email is to assign a new one, therefore making the problem worse.
I would reach out to Kingsisle (creator of Wizards101) via Email and explain the problem. Please do not include any credit card information, and certainely not the password if you have already changed it.
Just explain the problem, and I imagine they can remove your email from the account and force the account owner to input a new Email and Password before he can log in again.
https://www.wizard101.com/game/contactus
The email you should use is:
Lot of guides on the official forums, but here is a quick and dirty one I found after 2 seconds of googling. I would also suggest you look into crafted gear on each world from 70+, some of them can be better than WW gear.
I don't think $10/month is that bad for having access to EVERYTHING in the game. it's not $75 to get to Krokotopia.
Here's what you can do with different forms of payments: https://www.wizard101.com/game/options
It really isn't that unreasonable. You can play most of the first world for free but if you want to continue after that you should pay so that they can ACTUALLY HAVE A GAME.
You're being ridiculous.
It's been removed for the time being. The $2 subscription was for the pack but it apparently was giving monthly membership as well. So I think KI removed it for that reason, so they'll fix it eventually.
Here's the link for it anyway for the future: https://www.wizard101.com/game/promotions/subscriptionsale
For everybody concerned about low tier enemies critting. Read the new release notes, it balances out because crit no longer has a base 2x damage as long as you have some crit block. Crit block works as resist in a way.
https://www.wizard101.com/game/dev-diary/crit-block-stat-rebalance

I check on their website and they said that they are now using limit functions for the criticals and blocks.
https://www.wizard101.com/game/dev-diary/crit-block-stat-rebalance
I'm assuming that people have chances of hitting criticals now even in lower areas due to this limit function.
Yeah, this is a known issue that they plan on fixing. It apparently doesn't accept the last pip you gain, which is why it took the normal pip and one of your power pips. If I had to guess it has something to do with the pvp change where you gain pips on your opponent's turn instead of your own.
Not me but I found this in the forum, posted in 2013.
> After hours of battling the Restless Soldier and Undead Wizard in the Necropolis I finally figured this out. I found it quite confusing, especially case1 because you would expect the beguile to take effect immediately, not the next round.
> Case1: You Cast First Each Round - on the same round that you cast, beguile has no effect. The enemy may attack you. Absolutely for sure. - on the next round the beguiled enemy shows what they are going to cast. You can not cast an offensive spell on the beguiled enemy (attack, trap, or feint). The enemy gets to cast first. (spell casting order changes!) If the beguiled performs an attack it will be on an enemy.
> Case2: Enemy Casts First Each Round: - On the next two rounds the beguiled enemy shows what they are going to cast. You can not cast an offensive spell on the beguiled enemy. The beguiled enemy casts last (spell casting order changes!) If the beguiled performs an attack it will be on an enemy.
> Beguile is quite useless in PvE. The chances of casting it such that it 'redirects' an enemy attack is a gamble, and the fact that you can't perform any offensive spell casts on a beguiled enemy makes it fantastic shield for the enemy.
There is a guide! https://www.wizard101.com/game/guides/beastmoon-hunt
https://finalbastion.com/wizard101-guides/special-events/comprehensive-beginners-guide-to-the-beastmoon-hunt/ However I find it easier to learn by playing, or watching YouTube videos.
Beastmoon is only playable during the event. I personally play it because I enjoy the PvP and PvE styles. You can grind beastmoon to craft the stitch gear. You can get reagents and spell drops to upgrade the potboilers and hit & bubbles and a few other spells. Playing beastmoon gives you a currency called Lunari which you can use to purchase the stitch recipes as well as use to temporarily upgrade different forms. Upgrading the forms gives you different spells and you can hold more copies the higher tier you are.
There are two different events, beastmoon hunt and beastmoon mayhem. Each are about once a month I believe. Beastmoon hunt is PvP, you have two teams and play a "capture the flag" kind of play style. Beastmoon Mayhem is PvE where all players are on the same team fighting mobs and trying to win before the timer runs out. Both have similarities but are different strategy wise.
There's a lot to know, but I find when you join an event and you tell everyone you're new, people will help you. It is a team event and people who play regularly want to win to get higher rewards, so majority of the time at least one person is going to buddy up and walk you through it if you tell them you don't know what to do.
Right now on the main website you can do trivia quizzes for 100 crowns a day.
It'll take you about three months to earn enough crowns to buy a monthly membership elixir in the crown shop but if you make multiple accounts and do the quizzes on all of them, then after the 3 months, they can gift your main account elixirs. It takes dedication though, you have to remember to do the quizzes every single day and avoid temptation to spend them until you have enough for the elixirs.
I'm serious about avoiding temptation. Some people start buying zones open permanently because it seems cheap with the early ones being 750c each. Unfortunately you play through them fast and the zones get more expensive with each world.
You just have to look out to get the right version. Gameforge (publisher for EU) is 1. Greedy and 2. Runs out of players. But don't make the mistake and mix up KI and Gameforge. KI is the original developer of Wizard101, Gameforge "buys" the game/rights and publishes the game for EU market.
I thought they fixed that...

He said it in the post they fixed the red name, or changed the color rather.
Keep in mind that Gameforge version is/was behind updates, I don't know if it still is. Most players are on the NA version.
Nearly every mob got a 20 percent nerf to their HP quite some time ago.
https://www.wizard101.com/game/dev-diary/spell-balance-audit
What? A DPP of 120 for ice? That doesn’t sound right, so I went and found the dev diary that explained their spell audits, and ice’s DPP (for non shadow spells) is 83. They used to have a DPP of 130 for shadow spells, but changed it to 100.
The devs plan on a long time.

The loremaster drop and crafting recipe won't come for a few months according to Dworgyn
nope, its actually the site. if you go through the wizard creator at the end you get the error 404
Here is the official stance on it if you are interested.
Basically, they know it is wanted, but would rather make new content they can actually sell than put the time into something like this with questionable return on investment.
1) FreeKIgames.com. Sign in to your Wizard account, do up to 10 quizzes per day, you get 10 Crowns if you get at least 75% on a quiz.
2) Daily assignments for Aegon Statz in Ravenwood. On the 4th, 9th, and 13th days you will get a small amount of Crowns. The day number resets once you complete 15 Daily Assignments.
3) I just found out about this one - watch videos in the Crown Shop to earn Crowns (10 Crowns for watching the ENTIRE video - no skipping!) Here are details on how to do this.
These methods (apart from actually buying them) are the only legitimate ways to earn Crowns. Don't use 3rd-party Crown generators/hacks, as those can compromise your account and you can lose it forever, not to mention they could open up your computer to malware.
If you’d like to play with the latest update right now, I might suggest trying a VPN. If you want a reliable one I recommend ExpressVPN. I know that sounds like an ad but I’ve just been using it for a couple of years now and I’ve had really good experience with it. You can set your location to a server in the US and play as if you’re there all you want!
>They say you have freedom, but you don't have freedom.
They literally don't say that. Here's the exact wording regarding open chat on their FAQs:
>Open Chat allows players a more open communication environment with other 18+ players. This chat will be filtered for profanity. In this channel, when players type their text they will see 3 colors in the chat window: white means 13+ can see it, yellow means only 18+ can see it, and red is completely filtered. This chat feature is in response to our community's requests. To ensure the highest level of safety, we have chosen to provide this for our active credit card Member community only. Please note that this option is off by default, and you must actively select this option under Account Management. Our terms for in-game communication with other players will remain the same. Violent and abusive behavior, as well as the exchange of personal information is still not acceptable.

It's designed to be a game that's safe for all players of all ages. This game is not for you if you just want a place where you can swear.
>I play other games that you can say whatever you want. There's a profanity filter you can toggle on and off.
...Ok, then just play those games. While I acknowledge that the filter is a bit too strict sometimes, a filter is still needed for a reason. People already can be offensive as it is, we don't need people to call others degrading terms or even slurs, or worse.
Even though I believe Wizard101 only supports Big Sur (not sure about Monterey), you might be able to fix it through this forum link. Check out the section on Catalina and older versions.
Edit: grammar
You can try a support ticket, but this doesn’t seem to fix the issue for most players.
Last time this happened to me it just “fixed itself”. Either a KI maintenance patch improved server performance or I unknowingly downloaded a specific driver/setting that Wiz likes better. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of good solutions available for this issue.
by the way, because wizard101's anniversary is coming up soon, I'd wait to reset your points! free training points buyback is something they said they'd rotate throughout the month, so the member's benefit should be right around the corner.
Here's their official post for reference!
I'm not sure how critical heals work either, but given Ratbeard's post https://www.wizard101.com/game/dev-diary/crit-block-stat-rebalance, my hunch is that critical chance is probably something like the function he mentioned
f(x,y) = x / (x + g(y))
where x is your critical rating y is the target's level and g is some function. Similarly for critical multiplier my guess is
f(x,y) = 1 + x / (x + h(y))
and h is some other function.
I haven't tested it, but shouldn't be too difficult to test whether this is true or not, simply need to see if there's a difference between the critical multiplier if you heal someone of a different level.
There is thread about it here: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/crafting/i-need-help-understanding-crafting-spells-8ad6a4265f529a64015f8ff77e237b82
This spells must be crafted by the character that you want to use it one. That is it is not like gear you can't just craft it and transfer it through shared bank like we do with hats and robes and stuff. Once you craft a spell it becomes a learned spell on that character only. Which is probably why so many people attempt to get it from Lormaster, but it is a rare drop and crafting if often simply faster. However you never know you could get lucky.
Read this to actually figure out what was added/changed. As for the new world, there's a teaser quest in the commons, ya can't miss it. We don't have confirmation on when the next world is gonna be released, but with the inclusion of this teaser, I'd say it's a good guess to put it at around the next big update, which would put it at around mid November.
Any membership time you buy while you're already a member just tacks on to the end of your current membership. So if you have 3 days left now, when you buy a bundle you'll have a month and 3 days.
I've gone through exactly these problems on a forum post I have just written. If you want the devs to see feedback on how to change balance school for the better post it on the forums or twitter where they might actually see and consider it. https://www.wizard101.com/forum/test-realm-updates-discussion/ra-power-nova-and-balance-damage-spells-8ad6a427732d77f401734cf5d3762675?page=1

Lol.
If you have the ability to, please comment your opinions on this thread I started on the official message boards. It appears that almost everyone on that thread dislikes the new char models, with also some constructive criticism on how to improve them if (and when) they roll out to live.
I am trying to push hard against this character remodel, but based on some dev feedback on twitter I fear that we are stuck with this update, without an option for "classic mode", simply because animations have been added universally and gear adjusted to accommodate the new looks.
I for one will not continue playing to the extent I currently do if this goes to live without an option to retain our old faces. The changes to my characters is drastic and unrecognizable. As an almost 10 year player, I am not motivated to funnel money into a remodel which I can't stand to look at.
this: "I can tell you that Hydra/Chimera won't do it for you - gotta be a single hit (and has to be a damage hit - death drain spells don't work either)"
from here
To quote King Artorius (former developer):
>The School dichotomies were set up long before I got here, and were (I suspect) primarily the work of Todd Coleman. That said, when they decided they wanted 7 schools, with Balance as the "odd one out," it was pretty clear that Fire and Ice would oppose each other, and the same for Life and Death. That pretty much leaves Storm and Myth, doesn't it?
>
>However, to delve further, you could argue that Storm is a school of very real, physical forces of nature. It's the pounding rain and the howling wind and the booming thunder and the terrible lightning and the crashing ocean. Whereas Myth is a school of ideas and stories and more intangible and ephemeral ideas - made manifest by our spells, of course, but flights of fancy compared to the raging of nature.
>
>Does that make any sense?
In case you wanted it the way KI put it: "Shadow Shrike, Sentinel, Seraph, and Trickster no longer double reduce backlash from “Likes.” Backlash for these spells now starts at 40% Health and caps at 70%. Dark Nova, Dark Fiend and Dark Shepherd backlash now starts at 30% and caps at 70%. This is for both PvP and PvE."
It's in the update notes :)
~~I recall (back then at least) that you could create an account with open chat, add both your accounts together into the same family with the open chat acc as the parent, and then you can change your primary account to have open chat. Or maybe that was only going from menu chat to text chat, but you wouldn’t be able to go from menu to open. It was too long ago since I’ve actually played. ~~
Otherwise, I imagine what OP did was make an open chat account and simply followed the instructions here to move the character from the main account to the open chat account: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/headmasters-announcements/can-i-transfer-characters-between-accounts-8ad6a42b6cb33647016cd496ffd14632

Not really, check this out for yourself. Buying the first arc is a lot more expensive using crowns than membership.
Krokotopia alone is 12,000 crowns.
Sorry for the late reply. We're not affiliated with Kingsisle in any way, and we cannot help you with your mute. You can contact their support page here
They are working on fixing the bug. Windows 10 workaround in the link.
The Jack O Lantern pet is the only pet with the spell. It was there last month, but it looks like they removed it. (They've tweaked a few things since the kiosk came out.) They might have removed it because it's available in the Gloomthorn Nightmare pack. Crown pets are not available yet in the kiosk (subject to change, per the update list.) Hopefully, they'll have it one day on the Hatch of the Day button.
If you can't find anyone here to hatch with, I suggest reading this Ultimate Pet Hatching Guide. It details all the different avenues/websites for hatching.
First of all, learn how to code. You can do this however you wish.
This is KI's official forum posting on the matter.
Allan was a boy in the Make A Wish foundation where people try to make wishes come true, etc. He was invited over to KI and was given posters, npc appearance and such. They didn't say what he had, but the post here says he had cancer and recently passes away because of it.
There are 3 people who have NPCs in the game at the moment. Allan, Nick Jonas, and Selena Gomez, to answer your last question.
Ninja edit: The reply below states of his death, just a heads up.
The page to buy one is here
You're not able to see what the jewel is until after you've already bought it (which is why I decided to show it after I bought it)
You can buy it here
Yeah, it's only available during the Castle Tours event and if somebody sold some to the bazaar. Check the event calendar to stay up to date!:
Depending on how young you were, some accounts can’t ever access open chat… This was the case for my original char I made in 2008. Hopefully that’s not the case for you, but thought I’d share the info for other people.
Haha I do not know why people lie about this stuff when it is obviously a lie. Dragonspyre was only added to the game and Celestia wasn't added until 2010. The game has always been paywalled from the Three Streets, which you would know if you actually played in 2008.
I feel so stupid. i messaged the account on wiz and told them i reported to kingsile and mozello.com and now i just got my account banned.... idk why i sent a link over wiz i was just trying to clown on the person trying to scam.. sent in a ticket please pray for me
I already sent an email to KingsIsle support and one to mozello.com to try and show them its a scam because they are just a domain supplier to people but lmao how obvious is this
LMAOOOOO ok mr detective, congrats. You played yourself. check this out. Make sure to look at the dates both of those were posted....smart guy. Don’t delete your comment either Imma come back to laugh it this in a few hours
Time has always been pretty vague in the Spiral. Characters rarely ever specify how many years ago something actually happened whenever referring to some past event. One prominent example I can think of where we are given an actual reference of time is when Ambrose tells us that the Isle of Arachnis was broken off of Khyrsalis by Morganthe "hundreds of years ago".
There was a story thread many years back where one of the writers, Jesse Scoble (a.k.a King Artorius), clarified the timeline of events regarding Morganthe, Celestia, Zafaria, and Khrysalis. However, he still didn't give any indicators of how long ago any of this happened or how many years apart the events were. He also briefly discussed the duration of the in-universe downtime our characters experience between world updates.
Crimea is one of the blocked countries so that's probably your issue
>With a slotmachine, you’re paying money for a chance to get ANYTHING. With a lootbox, you’re paying for a guaranteed prize. You can’t lose when opening a lootbox, we went over this already..
So..? Lootboxes are still gambling, and only the most delusional Players would see a Pack ridden with temporary mounts and other junk as a "win."
And the bottom line is that lootboxes can cause gambling addictions, as my cornucopia of sources prove. So yeah, this predatory marketing tactic really has no place being around children.

>Therefore it’s not a game of chance. There’s only a chance in getting a specific item, but the whole point here is that you’re getting something guaranteed..
Lootboxes literally are a game of chance, you have a random chance at winning desirable items. And CrownsIsle very clearly uses this language in the posts about Packs, they always say that you have a "chance" at winning these items.

>PTW has nothing to do with this debate whatsoever.
I was just pointing out that it's even more problematic when PTW and lootboxes are combined. You can't really discuss lootboxes without acknowledging this dark reality too!

Typical ClownsIsle simp, your arguments have failed and now you "must" resort to ad hominem! Good job.
You can follow their advent calendar here: https://www.wizard101.com/free-game/holiday-2021
You don't get free stuff everyday, but the free pack and decorations are available til next monday. Each day's "gift" is available at like 11:30ish AM EST.
If you don't remember the login, maybe try resetting your password and checking at https://www.wizard101.com/user/kiaccounts/summary/game ?
Also, looks like I was talking about the Pagoda of Harmony quest in Kembaalung.
Exploits aren't "put" into the game, they are a result of a mechanic beind abused beyond it's original parameters that negatively impacts the game.
This doesn't negatively impact anything, this is somebody using an ingame mechanic, such as resist or shielding to greatly reduce damage. That is exactly how it was meant to be used, to greatly reduce damage.
They also supposedly already have the additional 'parameters' as they call them, coded; just not implemented. They have ways to add bonus increments that reward quick valid plays, and time penalties. They have clearly just chosen not to implement this, because they don't find "jading" to be an exploit, as it's just using shields the way they were intended.
>"When we initially release the Chess Timer, we will bring it out in a very simple, straightforward form. However, we have built additional parameters that we can implement if it becomes necessary to prevent certain exploits, including “bonus increments” (which reward quick, valid plays) and “time penalties” (which penalize certain plays). "
Excerpt from this Update Notes page
For the daily events, if you ever need to access the rewards or event pages after logging in there is a little icon of Gamma in the upper right corner of your screen that you can click on to view ongoing events, recently ended events, and the Scroll of Fortune. This is where you can check your progress bars and redeem rewards.
For redeeming codes you will need to go onto the Wizard101 main website and log into your account. From there, you click the "Redeem a card or code" option on the menu and enter the captcha and the code itself in the box that pops up. Here is a link of images to show you what that process looks like.
Once 12 Days of the Spiral starts there will be links to page that looks something like this page (note this is last year's so everything is expired). Starting on December 9th there will likely be picture links to send you to this year's advent calendar both on the Wizard101 launcher and on the Wizard101 website. Once you go to the 12 Days of the Spiral page this is where you will be see the codes to redeem if there is one for that particular day.
How long were you able to play before you began having these issues?
What parameters did they give you for the tracert command?
Can you send me your client logs for W101. Just go to where you installed the game and in both BankA and BankB folders, there should be a file that says WizardLauncher.log.txt. Let me know if those don't exist.
Do you have a prebuilt system? If so, have you ever reinstalled Windows on it?
---
Assuming you're on Windows 10:
Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Customize Settings
Turn off the firewall for both Private and Public networks and try launching the game. This shouldn't work, but I'm interested to see if your error code changes.
---
If you haven't tried anything else, you should absolutely try uninstalling, and then installing the game.
Windows Key > Add and Remove Programs > Search Bar: Wizard101 > Uninstall
Then install the game once again using a new, updated installer found on:

If you are launching from Steam, let me know please.
Here’s a forum post where a dev says she “does not come from Cool Ranch. To say more would be to say too much.”
This implies she’s from a world that hasn’t been introduced yet. If she was from Wallaru, why wouldn’t they just outright say it?
New spells that are currently PvP only. They plan to make them usable in PvE too at some point in the future. Here is the Dev Diary regarding them.
I don't have a Mac, so apologies for not being too helpful. What I do know is that they do have a Mac version on their website right here. I'm not sure how well it works though.
That's not how the the dpp works for AoEs. Ratbeard confirmed that AoE's have 3/4 the damage of single hits, all else being equal. So if I have a single hit that does 100 to a single target, the AoE equivalent is 75 to all enemies. The dev diary is here if you don't believe me.
Actually, this can be done, although not officially. I use a program called AntiMicro that allows binding of controller inputs to keys. It's not perfect, but it is a great way to go about it in the meantime.
>oth get an additional 10% sb from each other, and the first time u make 300 sb we both get an additional 300.
when i click on the link it just takes me to www.swagbucks.com , do i just type in the sing up code "gamingforkit"?
I think I might have found your issue. You have an ARM based processor, which is like what they use in cell phones. It might be running 64 bit, but it is running 64 bit ARM architecture and not regular X64 like a desktop 64 bit CPU would be running.
So you're likely unable to run wizard 101 on that computer.
This might be a little helpful
Oh god. I remember that vividly haha. https://www.wizard101.com/game/community/updatenotes/september2010
Then it lead into that awful cheating tower in Marleybone. That tower was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard back then.
I googled and saw this: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/mooshu/mooshu-quest-appetite-for-destruction-8ad6a4154816a7830148182e874f48b1
(It says, contact support.)
Seeing as this is from 7 years ago, it looks like this is a longstanding problem and might require support to get you unstuck.
