It does not cast doubt on his claim. To claim that capitalism has existed for hundreds of years, therefore it should/will/can exist well into the future, is a blatant logical fallacy(#2).
If you want a thorough analysis of capitalism, there is no substitute for reading Das Kapital. The constant expansionary nature of capitalism cannot exist forever on a world with finite resources. Capitalism is constantly trying to adapt in order to prolong its existence, but the bottled up contradictions have inevitably led to crisis after crises over the last two centuries. This video explains the contemporary breakdown of capitalism pretty well, and why we need to get away from capitalism if we ever want long-term prosperity on this planet.
You don't have to tolerate paid propaganda on your home network. If you run a pihole it'll block ads on all your devices, including your Switch. It's a bit technical but there are lots of tutorials out there on setting one up.
it doesn't make somebody a bad person.
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/prejudice
it's part of being human. what makes somebody a bad person? what is a bad person?
in a general sense, speaking nationalisically, it would be to attack a person's life or liberty. if a prejudiced person uses their prejudice as a pretext for such an attack, are they, then, a bad person?
>Understand there are no guarantees in insurance
Definition of insurance: coverage by contract whereby one party undertakes to indemnify or guarantee another against loss by a specified contingency or peril
I guess if you ignore the definition of the word then there are no guarantees in that thing you are using to get a guarantee.

It's already been tested in a production environment. You'd just need to add custom pages (maybe wiki-style?) and translations.

This is one of the BEST Native books ever written-- just the footnotes tell the history of North America:In the Courts of the Conquerer: The 10 Worst Indian Law Cases Ever Decided

This reminds me of how the anti-communists blacklisted a ton of people so they could control the airwaves after WWII too. I just read an interesting interview of an author who wrote a book called "The Broadcast 41: Women and the Anti-Communist Blacklist" https://getpocket.com/explore/item/how-the-fbi-destroyed-the-careers-of-41-women-in-tv-and-radio?utm_source=pocket-newtab
Yeah they did… but it was actually right wingers doing it.
An interesting book with an unusual perspective:

This is what we have and it works great! Cost is $200 right now but sometimes it goes on sale for as little as $100 according to the friend of mine who recommended it to me. We use ours all the time :-).
>Read Dark Money. The most sober and even keeled account of his influence on American politics sounds like wild eyed hysteria.
Very good book, but Kochland might be even better.
to win single payer we will have to organize at the grassroots level for candidates for House, Senate, and President https://www.amazon.com/precinct-captains-guide-political-victory-ebook/dp/B01M4IG914/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1478469506&sr=1-1&keywords=precinct+captain%27s+guide+to+political+victory
That's because he has actually read Adam Smith. “People read snippets of Adam Smith, the few phrases they teach in school. Everybody reads the first paragraph of The Wealth of Nations where he talks about how wonderful the division of labor is. But not many people get to the point hundreds of pages later, where he says that division of labor will destroy human beings and turn people into creatures as stupid and ignorant as it is possible for a human being to be. And therefore in any civilized society the government is going to have to take some measures to prevent division of labor from proceeding to its limits.
He did give an argument for markets, but the argument was that under conditions of perfect liberty, markets will lead to perfect equality. That’s the argument for them, because he thought that equality of condition (not just opportunity) is what you should be aiming at. It goes on and on. He gave a devastating critique of what we would call North-South policies. He was talking about England and India. He bitterly condemned the British experiments they were carrying out which were devastating India.”--Noam Chomsky on Adam Smith and the Wealth of Nations
What does that have to do with libertarianism being socialist though?
So you're still in favor of a capitalist dominated market and banking system?
I HIGHLY recommend that you look into market socialism: specifically, economic democracy laid out by David Schweickart in his book AFTER CAPITALISM.
It's a bit expensive, so I'd recommend you check out his LECTURE RIGHT HERE before you commit to a purchase.
It'll take about 60 minutes to watch (you really only have to watch the first 6 parts), but I think it's worth it. I've been looking for a viable alternative to capitalism for a long time looking to people like Chomsky, Michael Albert and Robin Hahnel, but this is the most realistic (and more importantly), obtainable system.
It is NOT a central planned economy, it relies upon a market, but everything is dramatically changed within it.
