Thanks for the feedback! I bought it about a month ago online on Amazon. Even though it shipped internationally, I received it in just 3 days (which was about three days sooner than what the estimate told me).

The colors are off a bit from K's real coat, but under the right lighting, it was perfect enough for me.
I always assumed he is referring to Eden itself as "her" like a sailor calls a ship "her". The following calls it metaphorical gender, although I'm not sure this is a widely accepted term. https://www.antidote.info/en/blog/reports/metaphorical-gender-english-feminine-boats-masculine-tools-and-neuter-animals
According to the top Amazon review "a big hunk of this book is [...] dedicated to Blade Runner".
<em>The Movie Art of Syd Mead: Visual Futurist</em>
There were a couple of books with design sketches and storyboards in the 80s but Blade Runner Sketchbook and The Illustrated Blade Runner are collector items and sell for big money now.
If you want to spend $4 per glass for a set that is clearly not exactly the same thing and certainly much lower quality, check these out! https://www.amazon.com/Bormioli-Rocco-234510GRB021990-Cassiopea-Glassware/dp/B008PCV6J4/
There are a lot of people who sell 3D printed versions of the blaster from both movies on Etsy but there is a legit, licensed version that is ~$1,000 which is what this one looks like. https://kotaku.com/900-blade-runner-gun-looks-totally-worth-it-1593537412
You could read the novel the films were based on. Or the art books. They go into more detail about the creation of the world. There's also a Three-and-a-half-hour documentary about the making of Blade Runner where they probably talk more about the world.
Not discounting the answers you've already gotten, but if you really are interested in that level of detail then you should buy the Blade Runner Bible.
It's bursting from the seams with that kind of detail. There's so much detail Sammon actually had to take stuff out from each edition to add more things to the revised editions. The last edition (linked) even had information on 2049.
And on top of that he's got many more books worth of details he's never published. One user here had an interview with him and he said he's thought of putting it all online because there's no way he could actually publish it all in book form. I wish I could find that post here and add a link to it.
As an example, the columns used in Tyrell's office/bedroom were originally installed upside down so Scott had the entire production stopped so the crew could flip them back over into the position he wanted them in. Little details like that make the book a must read for any obsessive.
This game is out now. Has anyone tried it?
I don't have Daydream (Google VR glasses that you insert a phone into), and it doesn't seem to be available where I live. Is it necessary in order to play it?
Since OP will not deliver, I will do my best to contribute. Here's a summary of the book:
>In 1982, to coincide with Blade Runner's original release, Cinefex, the respected magazine devoted to movie design and special effects devoted an entire, extended issue to Ridley Scott's sci-fi masterpiece. That issue has been out of print since then, but in constant demand -- copies now sell on the collector's market for over USD100. Titan Books is proud to bring this classic back into print, in a remastered hardcover edition. Described as 'the single most comprehensive examination of Blade Runner's special effects', this must-have book contains scores of images not available elsewhere, as well as authoritative text, containing in-depth, exclusive interviews with director Ridley Scott and the legendary designer Syd Mead.
As of this posting, the book is $39 on Amazon. Its price has been as low as $16.29, but not for a while.
The Japanese amazon site appears to have 2 listings for the pre-order from re-sellers
Thanks for the positive feedback! It started as a $7.00 "lights and sound" gun that I picked up on Amazon. They're a lot more expensive now.

So... there is actually a very well-researched making-of for Blade Runner 2049... it's just not a documentary.
It's a book, written by Villeneuve's wife.
The Art and Soul of Blade Runner 2049 (Amazon link, no referral)
Reviews for it are really good from some sources. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alconinteractive.brvr
So it is just the google play VR/daydream platform? That is like... a $5 buy in with a cheap VR cardboard. I don't have an android 7.0+ device though.
edit: Confused Daydream with cardboard. Yeah this is really dumb. Requires a $60 headset and android 7.0+, rather than simple google cardboard on any android.
Now you've got me interested. It's too late to suggest something to my girlfriend for Valentine's but my birthday is 2 months away :)
No luck so far, but this is fascinating to flip through: http://www.openculture.com/2011/12/blade_runner_sketchbook.html
Any of these would make incredible prints!: http://www.chrismrogers.net/#/art-blade-runner-2/4564809476
If you haven't tried it, the MYNoise app for iOS (and you can do it on web for free too) is quite good.... You can layer the stuff too and probably get this I'm betting...I'm pretty sure there are user submissions also... Someone please make this! my noise
Edit! Just found this master list of noise generators... It has pre made "recipes" where people have made custom scenes!!! Awesome the list I was talking about
Issue 28 of the Brick Journal has a feature on building the Spinner from Blade Runner. It also has some new photos of the one-off version that Lego built for designer Syd Mead.

just using a standard inkjet printer (Epson XP-530).
I usually give the printed surface a couple of light dustings of matt or gloss acrylic varnish to seal and protect it once it's fully dry (I use AK Interactive Ultra Gloss / Ultra Matt through an airbrush).
The word you're looking for is omnibus, and they dont have a single book yet but they just announced this box with all 3 trades of the 2019 series coming out in September. Or you can buy the trades seperately now.
Here’s the link for Amazon U.K., but I think they’re somewhat widely available, at least in Europe.
It’s specifically the double and not the single that features in the film.
I think it was just the 1st edition that was out of print for so long. There was a second edition -- that I never picked up -- that came out for the 25th anniversary ten years ago. It must have also gone out of print at some point, as I'm actually having more difficulty finding a copy of that than the original edition.
I don't know how likely it will happen, but there is a link on the book's Amazon listing to request an ebook. You'll probably have to scroll down and it will be on the right side and have a picture of a kindle.
Very cool. Track down the scotch if you can without paying an arm and leg, it's pretty good!
I was hoping this set would be released in the US, but not even available in the UK amazon site yet.
Damn. Well, if you're willing to go through the shipping I've seen it on the Italian Amazon site and as far as I can tell it's not sold out yet: https://www.amazon.it/Blade-Runner-2049-Blu-Ray-Bicchieri/dp/B076F28TT6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515187866&sr=8-1&keywords=blade+runner+2049+whisky+edition
IDK, maybe just think about how good the original looks now for being over 38 years old? That CGI barely existed then? It was all hand built models and matte background paintings? Most films can't even hold up 10 years let alone 30+, but this masterpiece lives on... and the stunning soundtrack by Vangelis? It seems like it's part of the film's soul...
Maybe read Future Noir to learn about it before you watch it again? Don't get me wrong, 2049 was pure bliss on IMAX but Blade Runner to me is the part of sci-fi history (2001, Star Wars & Alien). In my eyes its style gave birth to every sci-fi film to come afterwards...
And Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty? Oh, man... his epic poetry at the end? That scene is hauntingly beautiful.
So just think, 40 years ago when it was made there were no cell phones, or digital anything except maybe a clock, if you wanted to call someone you had to remember the phone number or write it down and pay a quarter to make a call, there were barely any computers, no self driving teslas, no internet as we know it, movies were on VHS tapes that you had to drive to the store to rent one, music was on compact discs... So looking back Blade Runner was pretty monumental. It may have done poorly at the box office, but film enthusiasts hold it in high regard.
I finally got around to watching this clip and HOLY CHRIST could this guy not be further off the mark.
He's obviously a fanboy of Sigur Ros (which is fine, they've done a lot of great work!) so his assertion is grossly biased and lacks any objective reasoning. It's no different than someone saying Radiohead or Dead Can Dance 'should've soundtracked Blade Runner'.. except those would be objectively more appropriate!!
The reason I feel Sigur Ros is so off the mark is the 'tender singing' is simply unfitting.. the occasional, moody piano note fits (big whoop), but that singing fits about as well as Tangerine Dream's lyrics for Legend (something you assimilate to over time but it's really clunky (Alternative: seek out the original Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack for a more traditional fit).
I've no problem with a re-contextualized soundtrack, but it must be at least a little appropriate.. FOR EXAMPLE: M83 being fused onto BR by EXEC1982 -it even has singing :P
this gun on Amazon can look pretty accurate with a bit of modification and some paint
Thank you!! It turned out great, dyed this clear rain jacket with hot water and yellow Rit Dyemore
They sell the jacket on Amazon (not sure of the quality).
If you run a Google search you can find a few other options.
If you want to simulate it instead of doing it, just plug your Chromecast into one of these suckers and hook it up to your CRT:
Sushi. That's what my ex-husband called me. Cold fish.
Welcome to the future.
The year is 2001, and Ava Centauri is the smartest, sassiest, and sexiest android-killing Agent in New New City. But after a heartbreaking divorce, her love life is D.O.A.
Not even her handsome and hunky new partner Agent Mark Davis can recharge her plasma engine, if you know what we're saying...
But all of that changes when they're assigned a new mission: one that ends with a megaton of man-on-android-on-man, android-on-woman action that will make you overheat your love gun.
This erotic sci-fi tale is 6,000 words of futuristic smut. We know you've been dreaming about reading something like this, because you're actually an android yourself, and all of your "dreams" are just the recorded memories of humans who lived authentic lives. (Don't be mad at us. It's not our fault!)

You can buy the digital copy here if you don't want to go out and hunt down the physical version which is sold out in a lot of places
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Blade Runner 2049, here are some Trailers
https://www.mixcloud.com/starstreams/starstreams-pgm-1151-30th-anniv-1h51m/
You might check out a radio show called Musical Starstreams. It's kind of ambient, new age, stoner music but it is super chill and a lot of it sounds like the Blade Runner soundtrack. It might also be a good jumping off point for finding more stuff.
I’m not sure where you’re getting that information from because I just verified from three different translator sources that the katakana I got tattooed on me is literally “Blade Runner”
Pretty late to this thread but looks like theres a wine wrapper out for it http://portingteam.com/files/file/3584-blade-runner/

haven't personally tried it with this game but wine wrappers do work if theyre stable etc. and its free so worth a shot.
you could use mkvtoolnix to get rid of the russian soundtrack, as there aren't any copies without russian audio. I've got one but its 20gb and with bad bandwith im not gonna upload it.
The link to it is below. Make sure you have about 23gb of space on your laptop (the size of the file) and then just deselect the russian audio track (and make the english one default) and click on "start multiplexing". You should be able to get rid of the russian audio

You're on your way... too bad she won't live.
I've had two, one from 1999 which got destroyed from over use, and one I got that had some pre-2049 stuff in it. Came out 2017.
And yes, to both. In fact part of Chapter 7 is solely devoted to Mead.
This is one of the few postcards that came with the limited edition Blu-ray of 2049, which I own and I have all of the postcards on my bedroom wall. You can check them out here:

Strange. Every online store says this won’t be released until November 19. Like Amazon, here Has anyone actually found and bought this online?

The Nicely Home glasses are back in stock on Amazon! No sign of the Solera ones, which are apparently better quality, but still. Looks like Arnolfo di Cambio hasn't cracked down on fakes after all - otherwise Amazon wouldn't be selling them again...?
Just copped a set. Decent price for the Americans among us (25 bucks) but about 40 quid all in for UK, including shipping. So not quite the bargain you lot get, but still cheaper for an entire set of these than just one real Cibi.
I bought some Cibis as well last month, but I reckon these replicants will be good for giving away as gifts for other BR fans I know. Ten quid a pop - can't go wrong, really.
Volume 3 actually seems like it will go into 2033.

For Blade Runner 2027, the image (https://imgur.com/a/DbOe9Bt) teases it as issue #1, so looks like a new storyline. I hope not focused on Ash, ready for something else after the next arc.
I am unsure when the next set of new comics come out but Amazon already has a listing for Volume 2 of the comics set for a June 16, 2020 release: https://www.amazon.com/Blade-Runner-2019-Collection/dp/1787731928/ref=sr_1_2?crid=KW2IOLKL56J7&keywords=blade+runner+comic+2019&qid=1572615495&sprefix=blade+runner+comic%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-2
Here's another game, not open world, but VR for your android phone if you can run Daydream. I tried it, but haven't got very far in it yet.
Edit: forgot the link -- Blade Runner: Revelations
It's actually 12 years old now, only 3 of the 5 discs are blu-rays, but it contains all 5 cuts of the film: Final, Director's, Theatrical (US & International) and the Workprint. It was replaced by a reauthored 3 disc Collector's Edition in 2012 with only blu-rays. https://www.amazon.com/Runner-Five-Disc-Complete-Collectors-Blu-ray/dp/B000UBMWG4/ref=tmm_blu_title_16?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1561159006&sr=8-18 https://www.amazon.com/Blade-Runner-Anniversary-Collectors-Blu-ray/dp/B008M4MB8K/ref=tmm_mfc_title_2?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1561159006&sr=8-18
There are THREE official books set in the Blade Runner universe, that were done after the director's cut came out.
They are by KW Jeter. They were cannon (at the time) but not treated as such any more with the installation of the movie sequel.
Another awesome way to dive into the world is the f*cken awesome graphic novel version of Do Android's Dream of Electric Sheep.

The art is gorgeous.
Since people are showing off their collections, and i'm trying to minimize mine, I'm wondering if there's a demand for the DVD briefcase set. THIS one
Just ordered these off Amazon - cheapest I've seen in a long time (the italian crystal ones were like 150 bucks!)
This is the best coat seam for seam. However it has a belt and the collar doesn't go as high and close as his in the movie.

Edit: this book is incredible and provides detailed background into the world building process.
Get hold of this excellent disc set. It has all versions, 1982 to the Final Cut, all introduced by Ridley. Plus a HUGE documentary.
I can't find a link for the book on the Sainsbury's website (it's probably in-store only) but Amazon UK is selling it for the same price (however, you'd have to spend at least £10 on books - or be a Prime member - to get free delivery):
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blade-Runner-Philip-K-Dick/dp/1473222680
I probably own every release of Blade Runner, expect for a Laserdisc copy. This would be your best bet. It has all the different cuts and special features - from commentary tracks to still images - contained in other releases, so you'll be covered there. It also has a selection of pages from the book that was release in this much more expensive set. That set has a cheap toy Spinner, and the full 72 page book. I own both for no real reason other than I care too much about this movie, and I can say that the first one I linked has all you need in terms of footage.
EDIT: The second set that I linked also contained a lenticular card of the Spinner flying by the Geisha on the TV screen, if that matters!
Twice. Once with the Four Disk Collector's Edition on DVD, which included most of the stuff from the briefcase edition. When the 30th Anniversary Edition came out on Blu-Ray, I upgraded.
Yesterday, I bought it again yesterday. I have the suitcase Blu-ray release but the 30th anniversary edition was cheap on Amazon and I wanted the spinner model and the book.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008PEHP8S/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1
I'd buy the Criterion if I could fine one in the UK, I've also got an eBay saved search for "Blade runner betamax"
