Aside from voting, the biggest thing you can do is convincing non-ents that legalization is the smartest choice both economically and in terms of personal liberty.
If you want to be really proactive, wait till The Culture High debuts, secure a copy, then contact your local college or university, and try to organize a screening.
They got the Blue ones for for 37.99 and it ships from Amazon no extra charge. https://www.amazon.ca/Rizla-RIZLAblue-Blue-Rolling-Paper/dp/B003E0G804/ref=bmx_4?pd_rd_w=gLlem&pf_rd_p=d9347c84-a27a-4c22-b959-7bb71382273b&pf_rd_r=6E40ZY85WSBEBPBPN86C&pd_rd_r=7aaef000-0be1-404b-bd5c-a0a1a7036345&pd_rd_wg=ms69l&pd_rd_i=B003E0G804&psc=1 I buy my papers by the box. I like my weed hate running out. I keep 100 to 150 packs on hand. Right now I have OCB Black box, blue box and organic hemp one.
Y'all motherfuckers snitched. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00JV27MF4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I was buying these for 12$ 6 months ago and now they are 30 on amazon.
By the by, they are the best thing ever. Anyone who doesnt use them gets instantly converted when they see how fresh your weed is. Try and order them online, head shops are rip off for them.
I wouldn't base your LP choice on this at all since they cost $1.20 each on Amazon and last quite a while.
I can't find the apollo light fixtures on amazon currently but this one is similar. Chalk it up to Amazon.ca being hit and miss with supplies/prices sometimes but the apollo's should reappear in the future. These would work in a 2x2 - 3x3 tent with up to 4 medium sized, trained plants. The smaller the tent, the warmer it'll be.
If I go here to check AirCanada flights from Toronto to London
and Nonstop is checked, I currently see 4 flights available.
If I uncheck Nonstop, I see 87 flights available, many of them much cheaper.
I repeat: the majority of flights out are connecting flights. It's a simple fact really. What's hilarious is all the slow witted people downvoting
Guess you can get hem in smaller packs as well https://www.amazon.ca/booklets-Regular-Medium-Rolling-Corners/dp/B071RTNVX2/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Rizla+green&qid=1620148975&sr=8-5
You can get them for 35.80 plus 17.99 for shipping on Amazon, ships from the UK. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000PIWQNQ/?coliid=I7QWP5M80Z9US&colid=1V1YQYSZWMNZ1&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
I'm not sure if a blurple light but this is what light my dad bought for himself and I'm gonna try it first. Dad also bought himself a whole setup... Dad is chill af. The light had some pretty good reviews.
Can you tell me what the difference between a blurple light and other lights are... Or direct me to a link where I can learn more?
You again! Thanks for your help :)
I've also read that booster fans aren't great if carbon filters are involved and I'd rather have too much power than too little. I'm legally only allowed to grow 4 plants so I don't think my setup will ever expand beyond a 2'x4' tent, 3 plants at a time. Your 10x12 room is much larger than my small tent, so perhaps a booster is sufficient even with a filter?

It sounds like a 6" inch inline fan is almost overkill since I'll likely be running it on low full-time. I also use my grow-room as a small office so quiet is preferred.

I"m wondering if a 4" inline duct fan with a carbon filter is the way to go, or do you still recommend a 6" inline with the carbon filter, at low setting? I'm looking at this fan on Amazon. The total cost is $193CAD including filter/ducting. There's only $10 difference between 4" and 6" so 6" is likely better.

I used these stickers I got from Amazon. They come with one of the white markers.
Not sure what to do with the smaller stickers yet but there are plenty of the larger ones, and those are perfect for mason jars (see the picture I posted above).
Do yourself a favour and grab a small magnifying loupe and go based off your trichrome colouring rather than just the naked eye. Way easier to judge when done and it's neat watching them fill in and change colour over time.
I recently read this book:
https://www.amazon.ca/Showdown-Outlaws-Angels-Control-Streets-ebook/dp/B00CWCCP48
It mentions that the bikers worked with some first nations to smuggle drugs and weapons both ways across the border.
I've used similar cheapies, the round ones. They're not very accurate - up to 10% difference within a batch - so I would use the ones that had readings close to each other and set the others aside. They also have a high failure rate, some are even DOA (I have spare batteries to try). The last batch was stuck on C, none of them will change to deg F.
I got tired of buying replacements for the cheapies as they die and I decided to see what cigar smokers like to use. The Caliber IV was highly recommended, so I got one of them (was only $40 at the time). It was bang on with the salt test. I tested all of the cheapies against it and kept only the ones that read 74-76%. I took those and let them stabilize at room humidity (winter, ~30%) and kept the ones that were still within 1% of the Caliber IV. Only about 1 out of 5 of the cheapies passed both tests.
Have this herb guard bag with lock.
Works great at keeping the smell in. Had an issue with the zipper about 6 months in but they replaced it very quickly no questions asked.
how many samples?
dont can any smaller than 125 ml (4 oz), you can cram 1/2 oz of fresh dense weed in there.
Look for tiny ones 1-2 oz if you can, but it will be hit and miss with the sealing lids if they aren't nice 2 pc jars with rings
Dark Crystal glass cleaner. You can find it here
I warm it up in a container in the microwave for about 45 seconds prior to use. You can reuse it multiple times, it’s non toxic, and biodegradable. I use this first, then rinse with hot water, then a quick clean with 99% iso, and everything comes out like new
Good idea! Small town, we have one Greek-ish place so hopefully they could help me out. After posting I also did some googling, and found this: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/dashs-donair/ I'm going to try it out sometime.
Have you gotten a kit from the frozen section in walmart? Strange place to get it but it was comparable and decent!
My exhaust is a 6inch Infinity. Love it. I set it to 7-8 on the basic ass fan controller it comes with and I leave it. I always set and forget my exhaust fans. Then you have a constant.
I open a single panel on the tent to allow air from my house that is 68f to enter the tent at all times.
I then use a 4inch Infinity Fan with the Controller 67. That controller will pull in supercooled air from outside as needed. Since I have the panel open when the fan is off it isn't pulling from the 4inch ducting, maybe a little.
I blow the cold air into a box fan. That box fan blows underneath my canopy and spreads the cold air which rises to the top evenly. I only use a single box fan underneath and I don't agitate the top of my canopy with more fans as it just makes things hotter blowing air at the bulbs and spreading it around.
With this setup I can really cool the shit out of the plants in the last few weeks of growth and it makes a HUGE difference.
I grow so much during the cold months I don't need to bother indoor or outdoor in the summer.
You can get potassium bicarbonate on Amazon, which is the active ingredient in GreenCure. Here
I used to mix 1tbsp (15ml) in a gallon of water with a bit of baby soap (helps it spread), but that dose burnt my plants. One review on Amazon mentions 1tsp/g so you could start there if you go this route. I wouldn't use it too late in flowering, but if you have to, it's water soluble and you can get it off after harvest using the "bud washing technique".
Good luck!
Your older self will thank you if you replace those manual shears with some spring loaded non-stick easy grip trimmers; Fiskars or equivalent: https://www.amazon.ca/Fiskars-Non-Stick-Softgrip-Micro-Tip-Pruning/dp/B01MU8CP1W
During trimming I have three of those I rotate through while soaking them in a shotglass of vodka or Everclear and gathering the hash at the end. Zero finger / tendon / joint / etc pain after an all day or all night trim session with Plex playing in the background.
Would these work ? Yescom 10pcs Replacement 3 Way Nylon Connectors Corners for Grow Tent w/ 16mm 5/8" Resistance Poles https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00EJQWX4C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_eOm8FbJEKBXRT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I recently bought a bag from Amazon that has a filter built into it. It uses heavy duty velcro to seal. I'm able to put my vape, charger, medtainer and my oil and a 5g flower container from Aphria inside it. It does a great job at hiding the smell. Here is the link:
Smell Proof Bag Powered with Carbon Technology | By Sprout Inc. | Keep Your Goods Certified Fresh! | Odor Proof & Stylish (10.5L 5.5W inches) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075M198DX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_WfV1SPYeqzkU4
I'm seeing 25' on Amazon for $21 which should be more than enough for my little grow room to reach out the window. Since it's going to be winter soon, do you think it's fine if I vent directly into my grow room instead of keeping my window open all season? I don't know if 2-3 plants will cause mold/mildew with the humidity it emits.
So my friend purchased the Blazer Big Shot GT 8000 but it was $100 at the time. I told him he was crazy spending that much. After using it, I still thought he paid too much but it's a nice torch. It's made in Japan and has no safety button :) The price dropped in price to $60 in Dec on Amazon and I purchased it. Now it's back up to $81 https://www.amazon.ca/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546630791&sr=8-1&keywords=Blazer+GT8000+Big+Shot+Butane+Torch
You can see the price changes here for amazon.ca here https://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/product/B000NCZU0A?context=search
I like buying things once and this seems like one of those items.
I'm not OP but I bought this Dry erase tape off Amazon and stuck that to the jars, then just write on it with regular whiteboard markers
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L8CZK73/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
bought this one
trichome loss is biggest argument
I call bullshit, no more loss than hand trimming imo
like I said, taste test coming up amongst the boys. Half a plant hand trimmed, half a plant manually trimmed, taste the difference?
I use a metal "makeup case" I liberated from my wife. It's about 12 or 14 inches high, something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07DN4X7Z3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vJtbFbEAHZKN4
It holds 4 or 6 Herb Guard 1/2 oz jars (also available on Amazon). I put an Integra Boost pack in each jar (52% because the 68% is too moist for vaping).
The case also holds my collection of vapes, brushes, stash-jars, grinders and assorted dabbers and other knick knacks. It's a bit much to carry everywhere, so I have a smaller Ryot bag for overnight stays.
I just found this on amazon. Looks like it could work?:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00AWQZ494/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You mean this? https://www.amazon.ca/Philips-Master-3100K-GreenPower-Elite/dp/B00HXOJ1FG
That seems like a similar investment to the cheap 1200w LEDs I was looking at. Seems like it would get dependable yields as it's a brand name.
We are talking about changing the inner atmosphere though...
Devices like this are used.
Well there would actually be half a dozen links, because I bought them from half a dozen places wherever there was a good sale going on. It took me a couple years to accumulate them all for the price I wanted. But here's a link to an "okay" deal for 100W equivalent bulbs at full price: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074M8ZBJF/
Sometimes the Dollar Tree has some great bulb deals, and I once walked out with a dozen of them for less than $3 each. I found most of the sales using Redflagdeals.
Could you have a look at this light and tell me if it's a better choice? https://www.amazon.ca/VIVOSUN-Hydroponic-Digital-Dimmable-Reflector/dp/B00P8PDBY4/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=high+pressure+sodium+grow+light&qid=1549752927&refinements=p_72%3A11192170011&rnid=11192166011&s=gateway&sr=8-2
Thanks for any input!

Right now I’m using this 3M Transpore Clear Tape and mark it with a sharpie. Works well.
Thank you.
I have one of these on order; https://www.amazon.ca/Raw-Premium-Automatic-Cigarette-Rolling/dp/B018BE26TO/ref=pd_sbs_121_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B018BE26TO&pd_rd_r=ff8734c0-d3f1-11e8-acb5-95f73567967b&pd_rd_w=ayZQD&pd_rd_wg=0umSo&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&am...
Oops, not that one... the slightly bigger one but same idea. It was mentioned in this thread.
Just need some appropriate filters and OCS to get their act together. :)
Just for reference, I also found this cheaper 25' ducting you might be interested in. Approx. $15. 4" though.
I can leave my grow room open at all times if needed, and have push the air back into the hallway. I could also run the bathroom fan in the adjacent room to help pull out that air. Great idea me!
One question, when you say "hydro grow"... what is the difference between growing 3 autoflower's indoors and it being a "hydro grow"?
I would advise you to pick up a Raw rolling machine and your own bud. Pre rolls can be made with shitty floor weed much like fake cigars are.
Not saying they all are, but some definitely are made with crap quality and its much easier to make pinners with that machine.
Is this the right one? That's what Google's giving me, anyway.
edit: Either way it's this one on Amazon.
You can buy mylar bags on amazon
Good luck shipping your microprocessors Frank
Amazon is the best place to get Boveda packs. 10x 8g 62% RH for $12.00.
I have this one https://www.amazon.ca/FLAMEBLU-PROFESSIONAL-Kitchen-Culinary-Torch/dp/B00T5HL7VA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479571946&sr=8-1
Gives a pretty big flame and a lot cheaper than a big shot. Had the ignition on one break and they sent me a replacement quick once they confirmed my order details.
These are more expensive then the ones i got AND they are king size!! here is link: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00UF6A1L2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
EDIT: they went up in price, they were 52 bucks plus shipping before :( 60 bucks now
just go get the RAW rolling one makes perfectly cylindrical doobies and if you pack it right your joint wont run. ignore the price in the link i think i paid like 4$ for mine ive had several because friends in highschool would take them while i wasnt looking. i always used pre-rolled raw brand tips from hemp they compliment the taste of your bud very well as opposed to the paper of your cigarette pack http://www.amazon.ca/79mm-Plastic-Cigarette-Rolling-Machine/dp/B002CNE9H8
