(im assuming you are using a chromebook)
As it runs in Java I would recommend using linux either via Chrubuntu or crouton. Although you will need a compatible Chromebook (one without an ARM processor)

I finally got around to making Movie HD 1.0.7, as well as Showbox 4.22!
Here you go:
Showbox: https://mega.nz/#!TlYxyBzT!qVSM57mF4UE0AbB1TAW0jH5RaIWogj9DS02cHh48624
Movie HD: https://mega.nz/#!69oiSb5Q!Z1La7Avvg2OyJf1UdxOUW5feClmVdSx3XrzM2zDMY_I
I was unaware that Movie HD wont even work unless it's the latest version. That's cruel!
But you can try to install it while disconnected from the internet and see if the problem persists.
I suspect Google is behind this because they have done it in the past. There was this great extension called "YouTube Center" that Google was not very happy about so they started removing it from users' chrome (even though people installed the .crx file from a third party source and not the chrome web store).
So the developer worked around it and offered the extension as a user script that you can run with "Tampermonkey".
I am currently running Windows 7, Chrome Version 43.0.2357.81 m (64-bit). This setup worked perfectly;
At this time there is an unknown bug with no fix in anywhere in the near future. If you are not using a Chromebook, I would suggest trying Bluestacks or Genymotion.
Ok fixed... honestly I feel like an idiot. I'm pretty sure this has worked for nobody but me. It turns out that the vendor directory never got added to the git repo b/c it is empty (it is supposed to be). To resolve this, I added a .gitignore
in the template/vendor/chromium/crx
directory. If you pull my changes, you should see the addition of a vendor
directory. I just tested in my Fedora VM and it works. I was totally looking in the wrong place... Thanks git... I apologize for wasting your time.
It's available on the Google Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.supercell.brawlstars&hl=en_US
Basically I used Jotterpad to keep a list of phone numbers on and a few randomish notes. Also, sorry for not providing links. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jotterpad.x&hl=en
It's not on the compatibility list. It's a free app, but has an internal pay component to unlock features.
I know your post is 5 months old now :p
BUT
I tried this today on my chromebook, and it works really well (no crashing unless you try to change the notification sounds) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.siacs.conversations
I think it looks better than xabber :p
