Its not available via the PlayStoere yet for most people. Please extract the APK with this app and then upload it to apkmirror.com
Someone with a newer TV that supports this function, can you try to extract the APK file for the "TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa" app on your TV? Maybe you can sideload an apk extractor app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en to do so. Then if you could make that APK file available to the rest of us, we could see if it works on older TVs.
Thanks!
Awesome! Could you do me a favor and extract the Camera APK? I want to see if it's a newer version.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en_US
Then upload it somewhere. Thanks!
I need to start setting my deliveries to my work. -_-
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en_US
Install and open, find Camera, click it. Then open Files> 3 dot menu>Show Internal Storage>slide out menu on left>Pixel 2>Extracted APK>hold on APK>Share icon>Save to Drive>Open Drive>find APK>3 dot menu>Link Sharing on>Copy Link>paste URL here
You need to download an app extractor like this from the Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
And then upload the Apk file here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk-upload/
Use the app APK Extractor. It pulls the APK from your device and you can put it up on Google Drive or save it to a usb stick. Personally, I avoid all those APK sites.
I wonder if extracting the APK from your Tab S7 is possible. I've used this app before to extract APK's from other apps.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en_US&gl=US
Doesn't hurt to try right?
Ah wow, Google Play and all the apk mirror sites still only has 4.4.1 available here. Would you mind extracting the apk with something like titanium backup or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui to share it? I'm waiting for the update to release a new version of my extended version on the app!
there is a way to get gearvr apps, but not for only-go apps. with gearvr apps it's easy.. :
1. install the gearvr oculus app & install the apps you want
2. install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui & extract the apk's of the apps with it
3. sideload the now extracted apks to your quest (phone -> computer -> quest)
There are "Apk extractor" Apps who will extract you the apk's of apps you have installed. By doing that you can easy get apk's without risking getting malware infected apk's from apkpure etc.
i use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=de but there are other apps who do the same
make an apk copy using thisapp then change the extension into rar or zip. Then try to append or replace the file insides with your mod files(xnb) inside the archive with compression tools like rar. After that, restore the file back to its original format(apk), and sign the app using tools like Apkeditor or Mixplorer(recommended). Finally, reinstall Stardew Valley.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Install that, use it to find the launcher apk (will be called 'launcher' or 'launcher3' or something similar), extract it with the app (will be saved to /sdcard/ExtractedApks/) and choose to share/upload it to google drive or one drive or dropbox or w/e and paste the sharable link here
Please do what /u/ReBootYourMind asked: "Can you use Apk extractor and upload the apk to the APKMirror site? Please."
We will all love you.
Install APK Extractor
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Then re-sign that APK with ZipSigner
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipsigner2
Then reinstall the new APK.
You can try an apk extractor. I don't remember which specific one I used but this one seems to have good reviews, plus it doesn't request every permission. Not sure if it would work for the lwp, as I'm not sure if it's protected, but I guess it's worth a try. If it works I'd love to have it.
You will need to find or extract the APKs, and sideload them on your watch. Look in here: https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/google-android/sideload-apps-android-wear-3673967/ and here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
use this app, click archero in the list, it will extract apk
go to https://gofile.io/?t=uploadFiles
at botton there is upload file button, tap that and pick apk file, its in your storage's ExtractedApks folder, then tap upload wait for finish, copy the download link here ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Can give this site a try since apkmirror uploads have to be reviewed before they are available for download.
Grab the apk file using this Apk Extractor then find ApkEditor app through, then swap the portrait files with the mods one. Rebuild it then reinstall.
Whois is private (no shock there) and some rumblings of collaborations between them and Android Police.
Owner of ApkMirror is Illogical Robot LLC, same as Android Police.
Apparently, it's quite easy to snag apk's from one phone to another when the source phone is rooted.
You can even do that without root, just install MiXplorer from XDA Labs, then go to App tab on it, choose Waterfox and click share. Or you can use ApkExtractor https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=pl
.
Update: Now I compared checksums with MiXplorer for Waterfox App I downloaded from Play Store and ApkMirror and I see that on ApkMirror it has other checksums, but certificate fingerprint is same. ~~Hovewer I see that applies also to another apps from Play Store, but if they are for example from XDA, then checksums are indentical on XDA and ApkMirror, strange.~~
Thanks, I just downloaded it. You should consider creating a seeding a torrent for it if you know how. Or I could, but I'm a unsure about how to torrent/seed safely. I also need to understand the torrenting process better.
Edit: Is this the APK extractor you are referring to?
Timely uses several different fonts. I was able to extract them directly from the app;
Geosans Light / Geosans Light Numbers
(Numbers for this font are stored as a seperate font for some reason)
Never Say Never
Roboto Light
Roboto Thin
If you are on Android, you can find a variety of free APK extractors to get the package and open it as an archive to get the fonts straight from the app. All TTF font files will be found in the 'assets' folder, you can simply rename the extension from '.apk' to '.zip' and use your file explorer to extract the files.
I'm not sure, but if you're using Android, you can use an app like APK extractor to get your own, offline, installer file. Just transfer it to your old phone and you're good. If you're using iOS and they take it down, you're out of luck. Edit: Here is a link to that app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
you can use this to extract
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
Easy to use and puts the apk in a folder called "extracted apks" on your device.
Since it's a Galaxy S5 international variant, it should not have that application in System.
The app is probably hidden under a different name.
Probably it is very likely to be uninstallable.
You may download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Open it and tap the top green bar to search for the package name com.example.xxx.
Then tap on the arrow beside the displayed app name and tap info.
You may now uninstall it.
I did open it with the Robinhood app, no other prompt came up (tried like 5 times). Maybe if you could be a really nice guy and extract the beta APK of Robinhood from your phone and post it here, then this could work?!?!
I play on my Kindle Fire all the time. It actually seems to run more stable than on my Galaxy S5 - I've had it crash once on the Kindle, maybe twice in the four or five months since I've been playing.
I extract the APK from the game on my phone with an app called Apk Extractor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui), then move it over via Bluetooth and install it on the Kindle.
The game can't update automatically on the Kindle, so you'll need to do this any time Com2uS puts out an update, but I can verify it does work. The only oddity I get is a "Purchase failed." error when I try to log in, presumably due to the device not being linked to my Google account, but I've found no other issues.
APK Extractor works pretty well.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
Doesn't always work, but does a vast majority of the time I've tried it (mostly to have an apk for an old version of an app in case a new version has a game breaking type bug).
If all you want are the APKs, you can extract them using APK Extractor. Either way, you shouldn't need it: if you open the sidebar in the Play Store app and click "My apps", it'll list all apps you have installed in the phone (or had). Remove the ones you don't want from "ALL" and you'll have a nice list for after your reset your device.
If you want to save data too, then you'll need another solution (/u/dbias ' may work).
I didn't want to sign into the Google Play Store on the work phone, so I downloaded Apk Extractor on my personal device and shared the installation package file via Bluetooth with my work phone. 😂 Only drawback is that the apps won't auto-update. You'll have to manually check for any updates and re-install the .apk/install the update manually.
Is the app on https://www.apkmirror.com/ you can just download the apk from there if it is.
You can also try the apk extractor from the play store.
If it's already installed, You can simply copy out the obb file to your PC, and then extract the apk file from your phone using an app like APK Extractor
If the app is a Split APK, you can back it up using SAI (Split APKs Installer) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aefyr.sai
Better yet, download an app like APK Extractor and use it on the Discord app installed on your phone. Just in case Google decides to update your Discord app anyway. That way, if that happens, you can uninstall the Discord app from the Play Store and install the app from your device's storage. Since it won't technically be from the Play Store, it won't update via the Play Store, either.
Anyone that comes across this post, that also already has the 'Abstract Art' live wallpaper app installed on their phone from the Google Play Store: please post the file hash from your extracted APK to validate the linked version:
1) Install APK Extractor and Hash Droid
2) Select 'Abstract Art' in APK Extractor app, extract to SD card
3) Hash Droid > Hash file > SHA-256 > open extracted APK file > Calculate
The hash should match this SHA-256 hash for the linked APK file:
C8031CBAF85F8B83FDF699B0FAE2C833DF6125E9F3B8B2C24BDD9DDD8EEDB97E
What is the difference between MicroG.apk and MicroG.7z? Do I need to have backed up both?
Btw. sharing links is not allowed, but I can share a link to completely unrelated app, that is downloadable from Play Store. I still think you will find it useful as most of you still have Vanced installed on your phones.
Here's hoping the app continues to work for another year until someone else comes into the scene.
Please download APK Extractor from the Play Store. Then run it and select the Expert Camera app to have it copy the APK to a folder. Then share the APK to either Google Drive or Samsung Link Sharing and post it here. Thanks! Lmk if you have questions on the steps.
No problem, happy to help.
If you want to play emulated games (like GBA) the "John" emulators on the play store seem to work pretty well. I have Pokemon and Eye of the beholder for GBA on my watch. Good fun.
Another handy tip is to use an app like APK Extractor to copy APK files of apps installed on your phone into the phone's SD card. It saves you having to google for the APK file.
3.0 just came out last night - if your gallery is still working can you use apkextractor to grab the APK for those of us that have already updated?
You can grab it on the play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui)
Then launch it, select LeiaPlayer - it will extract a .apk file to your internal memory (ExtractedAPKs folder) -- if you can share it here it would be nice for everyone to have
Most system files will be unavailable without root. However, APK files should be obtainable. You can easily get APK files with an APK extractor app, like this.
Do you have a link to APK Kit? My googling didn't turn up anything. I use APK Extractor, modified so it doesn't have ads.
Yes you can, my favorite game was taken out of the play store in 2015 and I've been adding the apk to every phone I got since then. I use the APK Extractor app
Used some Apk opener apps like Apk Extractor and Show Java
I came across the tools while I was trying to dig into the games files for character sprites.
I use a combination of APK Extractor sideloaded onto the watch and Termux + ADB on my phone, or ADB via PC.
APK Extractor looks funky on the watch since it's not built for it, but still works really well for getting both system and user APKs .
Would it be possible for you to download an APK Extractor and extract the One UI Home app and share it to me please?
Here's an extractor app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
to extract the APK and place into storage
Then rename the apk to zip
Unzip
Navigate the folders to locate icons.
res/drawable no DPI
Is where I found the icons.
Install this app from the play store :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
(If link isn't click able search "apk extractor" and its that one with the green icon)
Open it, grant permissions, and then find the vvm apk you told me to search for, click it, extract it, and then it'll extract the apk to a folder.
Then upload it to one of these various file-sharing sites, or share it on drive?
You're gonna have to do some google search and debugging yourself unfortunately I don't have the time to help for the next little while.
To get foxfi key on your FTV, extract the apk with: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
And then send it to your firetv by using easy fire tools
(I'm not sure if you need it on both devices, but I just did to make sure it doesn't fail)
You can use the built-in parallel app system and install a native parallel app via adb, you just have to run this command:
adb install –user 999 APPNAME.apk
Things you'll need: - pc with adb installed - usb debugging on - the apk of the app you want to duplicate. If you don't have it, just use this app to extract the original apk from you already installed app on your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
You don't need root for this (I tried this on my non-rooted OnePlus 6T).
ps: of course you have to be in the folder where you have the apk you want to install for the command to work.
Transfer all your files to your PC, and reset your phone. It most probably would solve your issue.
Also, before you do that, install Apk-Extractor, and extract apks of apps you don't want to update, and transfer them to your PC and Drive. If downloading Apk-Extractor does not work from play-store, try apkmirror.
I always do this after disabling auto-update.
I use Apk Extractor app to get the current-version's apk, rename it to the current-version, and save it to both your local-folder, and google-drive.
So, if you don't like the new updates, then you just need to uninstall the app from the apk.
For pre-installed apps like chrome and youtube, uninstall-updates, and then install using the apk-files.
It won't work for pre-installed apps that are updated, when the phone-OS is updated. Also, for youtube, you need to download apk from apkmirror website.
I have extracted the mobile app with apk extractor
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Then install this app smartphone and tv
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yablio.sendfilestotv
And with a file explorer you install
Yay thank you!
I have an APK I want to upload. How can I extract it from my device and upload it.
The easiest way to extract an APK is by using an APK extractor app built for this purpose, or a file manager with extracting capabilities. For example, ML Manager APK Extractor, APK Extractor or Apk Extractor Lite.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Once you have the APK you can upload It to Google drive or apkmirror or dropbox
You have to install the game to your mobile with the Oculus app. Then you need this: APK Extractor
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=de
Extract app, download it to your Mac and install it with Sidequest
The maker of Lumiya hasn't been seen inworld in ages, and friends of hers have expressed concern. It's been pulled from the Google Play store.. I think it's safe to say 'it's over' at this point.
I do have an APK that I wrenched out of one of my old phones, but I can't distribute it for the same reasons we can't allow copybot related threads here. She charged for it, so sharing it without paying her seems wrong to me.
All I can say is check your old android devices and perhaps you can pack it up as an apk and transfer it to your new device using something like APK Extractor
Basically download this app (apk extrator) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&gl=ES and upload the apk to drive, thanks <3
You can use this app to extract any installed APK from your phone:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en_US
It shows you a list of installed apps and you can tap one to have it save the APK file somewhere you can then get it from. I've used it to install several unsupported Android apps on my Quest with varying results.
you will need sidequest to install it
but if you want the discord apk you can install it on your phone then go to the playstore and install apk extrator
select discord from the listing and then extract it find the file on your device (should be internal storage/extractedapks/discord.1.10.0.apk or something of the like)
move that file to side quest and install it on the quest through there
No idea, however if you have/use apps that are no longer available, use APK extractor to pull a copy off your device, and then you can store it anywhere for future installation.
APK's are the native, compressed archive of an android app.
Install this once you buy your app, open the extractor app, find the paid app and hit 'extract'
It will be extracted to your location in file directory. Uninstall paid app/refund, then find extracted App (apk) and install.
If you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate it.
Just download this app to extract the APK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Click on the three dots next to Icebreaker
And share/upload that to Google drive or wherever you want.
I must have uninstalled the Device Unlock app and can't get it back from the app store. Does someone mind trying to upload the APK? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Have the T-Mobile 6T on a Business account
Don't mean to bug you, but if you've already updated, can you use APK Extractor to extract Moto, Actions, and Display (as well as anything else you can find that relates to Night Display/Night Mode) and upload the files to Google Drive? The g5+ didn't get it with the Oreo update, and now that the standard Night Mode was blocked from being manually updated, I no longer have access to it and I'd prefer not to use a 3rd party app. Much appreciated if you can do this.
On Android you can use Apk extractor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en) on the old phone and then install the old version on the new phone.
Download this app from the Playstore onto your old phone:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Do what it tells you to do on your old phone. Transfer the apk file (many different ways to do so) from the old phone to the new and then "sideload" the apk on the new phone.
Aaahhh... Android...
Good times...!
So when I wanted to install an app on my shield that was not in the play store, I would use This app to extract the apk from my phone / tablet then transfer it to my computer via SMB share (You could also use Google Drive) and then use ES file explorer to transfer it to the shield. I bet you could use the phone / tablet version of teamviewer. Or you could just do what the other person said and use the RDP thing.

I wonder if u/demars123 hasn't a clue how to extract an apk, nevermind upload to APKMirror/PM someone a link.
Any bot makers around who could help in this regard?
Sure, using a tool like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
(or you can do it with Solid Explorer and a bunch of other apps as well)
Then you can go ahead and update :)
You could try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
Convert the compound media app from your FireTV or Android Phone to APK and then sideload it into your other devices.
APK Extractor ... That will extract the APK. But if you install it later it will still update so you need to re-sign the APK and it will not be linked to the app store anymore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipsigner2&hl=en
here is a link to Apk Extractor on the google playstore. It will take your installed app, and turn it into an apk to be sideloaded on a different device. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
If you still have your firetv sideload this and extract everything you want that doesn't show up in the app store on shield tv. Then sideload those on to your shield and make sure the amazon app store is installed. From then on it should update correctly.
Keep in mind some apps have external data that are not extracted when using an apk extractor. If your app doesnt work after being sideloaded you need to browse the file structure of your fire tv go into the android>obb folder and grab the com.APPname.blah and copy it to the same folder on your shield. All should work after that.
If you could I would be extremely grateful. I'm trying to get the APK because it's designed to be used with a remote, rather than touch like the other apps that are accessible. I've used THIS app in the past and it has worked wonders for me. Please keep me posted on your progress, I really appreciate the help.
Awesome! Really eager to try this, can anyone who's running this beta app post the APK here for us to try? Can easily grab the APK by downloading this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Oh i see it now, apkpure has an error when you click download. If you have any devices that can get it from the store, download it and then use something like APKExtractor to grab the APK and then put it on the device you need it on.
Definitely an absurd design choice by Amazon. I got it running by exporting the APK using APK Extractor and then installing it on my computer using Bluestacks. Seems to be working ok so far.
Hahaha why? There's no copyright infringed, nor NDA and we've already bought the Pebble, so it wouldn't be so dickish.
The way to export the APK is vía Titanium Backup for example. Or you can use something more simple like this. I hope you change your mind about the dickish part of my petition :).
Either way thank you again!
APK Extractor is a nice way to do it. I use a couple of apps no longer in the play store, and was able to extract them from my old device and install them on the new one. Even the "premium" status was transferred, so I didn't have to worry about buying them again. (couldn't have anyway on a couple of them). Once I extracted them, I emailed the files to myself.
Is there any chance you could post the stock wallpapers if you have the time?
Grab an app like this - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui - and pull the launcher apk, upload to Drive (Or wherever), and I can pull them out of there.
Would be much appreciated if you can!
Yeah chromecast is a much better experience on android/ios. Here's a quick guide, it's a bit annoying to set up but once you do it's pretty good. I use an app called apk extractor to get apps from my phone.
Extract the new google camera app with apk extractor and upload it to apkmirror.
The first step is just getting the APK. I bought it from the Android app store and extracted it from my phone using APK Extractor. Now I turned that .apk into a regular .jar using dex2jar.
This jar can then be decompiled into reasonably readable sourcecode using IntelliJ IDEA's FernFlower decompiler: Copy the JAR into your IntelliJ project, right click on it and click "add as library", and you should be able to expand the JAR and read the decompiled classes.
Unfortunately FernFlower failed to decompile a couple of the critical methods, so I also used JD-GUI for that.
Browsing the sourcecode, it was clear that the application's logic was really JavaScript, and these JavaScript files were all stored inside aggarwalcreations.ipasscode.AssetCryptImpl
:
private static byte[] filterDataInRange(byte[] var0, int var1, int var2) { try { Class var3 = Class.forName("org.appcelerator.titanium.TiVerify"); var0 = (byte[])((byte[])var3.getMethod("filterDataInRange", var0.getClass(), Integer.TYPE, Integer.TYPE).invoke(var3, var0, var1, var2)); } catch (Exception var4) { Log.e("AssetCryptImpl", "Unable to load asset data.", var4); var0 = new byte[0]; }
return var0; }
private static Map<String, AssetCryptImpl.Range> initAssets() { HashMap var0 = new HashMap(); var0.put("about.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(0, 4608)); var0.put("add.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(4608, 3584)); var0.put("app.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(8192, 6864)); var0.put("auto_backup.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(15056, 4240)); var0.put("backup.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(19296, 11280)); var0.put("change_password.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(30576, 3360)); var0.put("db_update.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(33936, 4688)); var0.put("details.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(38624, 6944)); var0.put("dropbox.js", new AssetCryptImpl.Range(45568, 4560)); ... return Collections.unmodifiableMap(var0); }
private static CharBuffer initAssetsBytes() { CharBuffer var0 = CharBuffer.allocate(97114); var0.append("\u0003Ó³·?¥\u0011¹Té@\u000bràî·Ëí\u0016³¦\u0017§ ... much more encrypted data here ... ); var0.rewind(); return var0; }
All the JavaScript files were encrypted and lumped together into the big encrypted string in initAssetBytes(), and this would be decrypted by org.appcelerator.titanium.TiVerify.filterDataInRange()
. So this app must be the output of the Appcelerator Titanium Obsfucator. Searching for "filterdatainrange appcelerator" on Google revealed this BlackHat presentation, which reverse engineered the filterDataInRange function for us:
byte[] filterDataInRange(byte[] bytes, int offset, int count) { SecretKeySpec key = new SecretKeySpec(bytes, bytes.length - 0x10, 0x10, "AES"); Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES"); cipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, key); return cipher.doFinal(bytes, offset, count); }
The JavaScript is just encrypted with AES using a key written after the end of the file being decrypted! I just pasted initAssetBytes() and this routine into my own Java program so I could use it to decrypt and export the JavaScript files.
Now I had the JavaScript files, I looked first at change_password.js, because I was pretty sure that this would decrypt every entry in the database with the old password, then re-encrypt it with the new one, revealing the encryption method. This is minified code though, so I used IntelliJ to reformat the code, then used its refactoring tool to rename variables to give them useful names. The result:
var prefix = "GeDrep88Wr8brexU34JaPRUqeWrEZAWr", suffix = "wepuspaju6e9ajUcreDruca5UtreSum4", modTime = Math.round((new Date).getTime() / 1e3), masterPasswordHash = Ti.Utils.sha256(Ti.Utils.sha256(prefix + newPassword1 + suffix));
iPasscode.db.update("passwords", {password: masterPasswordHash, modified: modTime}, {id: 0});
for (var fields = iPasscode.db.select("passwords", ["id", "username", "password"], " WHERE id>0"), i = 0; i < fields.length; i++) { var entryID = fields[i][0], encUsername = fields[i][1], encPassword = fields[i][2];
encUsername = Aes.Ctr.decrypt(encUsername, oldPassword, 256), encPassword = Aes.Ctr.decrypt(encPassword, oldPassword, 256), encUsername = Aes.Ctr.encrypt(encUsername, newPassword1, 256), encPassword = Aes.Ctr.encrypt(encPassword, newPassword1, 256),
iPasscode.db.update("passwords", { password: encPassword, username: encUsername, modified: modTime }, {id: entryID}) }
So in the utility I created, I just copied and pasted the original app's AES-CTR code, so I could call it like Aes.Ctr.decrypt(ciphertext, password, 256)
to decrypt passwords.
Notice that the hashing routine that hashes the master password only uses two iterations of SHA-256 to do so. I would be very surprised if it took as long as a minute to brute-force the short master password that OP's client used. It should be using an expensive key derivation function.
You can use an app like APK Extractor to make a copy of the APK so you can install it later. No root required.
There are several "APK extractor" apps available on the play store. I use this one.
Install "Apk extractor" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui) and upload to apk mirror (https://www.apkmirror.com/apk-upload/)
Yes, just grab APK Extractor off the PlayStore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
Oh wow. That's a brand new build. The newest I'm seeing is 4.3.98. It would be cool if you could extract and upload https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
Can you use Apk extractor and upload the apk to the APKMirror site? Please.
Yup, you can use APK Extractor to export the APK without root
Use Apk Extractor from the Playstore. Those who are posting that this cannot be done are idiots.

Copy APK from old Galaxy S Tab move to New phone. You said it didn't work what happens when you try to load it?
Might be to much to ask but would you mind using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui To extract the TouchWiz home apk and then upload it to drive for us to download?
APKMirror is a site I use often for APKs. It's run by Android Police and all submissions are checked by AP staff. If the apps you want are free, you might be able to find them there.
If you can't find them there, yes, you should be able to make an Android Virtual Device with the Android SDK tools to do this. Just make sure you install the Google APIs and a Google APIs system image for Android 6.0. I don't know if it's just Google Play services that's included or if the Play Store is included as well. If it's not, you may need to sideload it.
Since most APKs work with all CPUs, I would recommend using Android-x86 in VirtualBox (or on your PC by installing it on a USB drive) to do this, because it's pretty fast and comes with the Play Store. You can get the stable 5.1 release here, or the unstable 6.0 release here. To transfer APKs I would use APK Extractor and connect a USB drive to Android-x86 in VirtualBox.
Edit: AMIDuOS is faster and more simple to set up if you're running Windows. It doesn't have Google Play pre-installed, but they tell you how to install it. Also, it has shared folders support, so you can transfer the APKs extracted with APK Extractor to your PC easily.
Have you tried an apk extractor?
APK Extractor - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
APK Decompiler - http://www.decompileandroid.com/
I got you mate:
APK Downloader (Chrome extension) allows you to download APKs from the Play Store to your computer (It fives you an extra button while on the Play Store)
Zen Mate (Chrome extension) can be used in case the app isn't available in your country - they usually say they're incompatible with your devices when that's the case
APK Extractor (Android APP) can be used to get the APK of an app already installed on your phone - like when you're away from a computer and want to share an app with someone.
Pls upload to apk mirror
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
This is what I use when I need to grab an apk.

Try to get the file APK and upload it here!
If someone from Canada can download the game, he/she could share the APK. It can be extracted with APK extractor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui)
Any "app backup" app in the play store should work. I use this one.
can you extract apk file and upload somewhere?
you can use this to extract
There is another way described in .Permanently Stop Any App from Updating on the Play Store — No Computer Needed
It basically involves replacing it with a copy you create with a different signature which Google Play store can't recognize and hence not update.
Requirements:
Only possible for apps you installed(cannot be a system or other preinstalled app)
Sideloading must be enabled.
Of the 2 apps necessary mentioned in the article one is still available in the Google Play store, the other you can easily find in apkpure.
I recently did this successfully for a VPN app that I didn't want updating.
UPDATE: required apps
You need to sideload the Android version of the Netflix app and run it inside Oculus TV.
You can either pull the APK off another Android device if you have one (using APK Extractor or whatever), or get it from an APK respository like Apkpure, or sideload something like Aurora Store first (if Netflix doesn't show up in a search try spoofing a device like the Google Pixel in Settings > Spoof).
Be aware though that effectively you're only getting a resolution bump from 480p to ~720p because the display resolution itself is a bottleneck. It's a significant but not dramatic improvement.
If you have a Windows PC to stream from I would personally recommend either Moonlight for Go or Virtual Desktop as a higher quality Netflix streaming solution instead as they are both more versatile when it comes to customizing the viewing experience (Virtual Desktop especially).
APK Extractor does exactly what you described.
Might be to much to ask but would you mind using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui To extract the TouchWiz home apk and then upload it to drive for us to download?
I used Apk Extractor
Install Apk Extractor from the Play Store and use it to extract the launcher.
Could you try to upload the .APK file? I want to play it so bad, but I am not from Canada.

Use an app like this to extract the apk, then send that to the new phone.
Well.... maybe you shouldn't use these because they might cause (security) issues?
In any case I believe apk extractor should do the job

Sideload this app. Use this on your firestick and extract the apk for the app you are looking for.
I use the app Apk Extractor.

Use Apk Extractor, save it, copy to his phone. May work.
Can you try APK Extractor ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui ) when you are available?
If you've got the apps installed on the phone i think you can use this;
You can find them online but beware of malware. The safest way is to use APK extractor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui) to extract the APK from an android phone
You can give this a try - extract
Did you try using an apk extractor on your phone? It can create an apk out of downloaded apps.
might get an error tho like GameTime_Game0 said. link the APK if it does maybe someone can help.
You can extract the APK from Flyme OS (If that's what you used prior) with this app
Ok, here's my pasta about this very topic. Don't be fooled, Data and IT will be VERY important for a SHTF scenario or a collapse scenario. You need knowledge to survive.
As a long time lurker of r/preppers and /r/datahoarder I decided to create a little guide and shopping list on portable Prepper data storage. It will be a novice guide “best quality for the buck” with some redundancy for the purpose of entertainment, memories and education after a SHTF scenario. Of course this prep is far down the road of a prepper. First, you need a financial cushion, food, water, bob, tools and healthkit prepared. As stated in the title - this is for a portable system that you can move around and have it in a small backpack
Shopping list:
If you want to go all out you can buy:
Now for the data. Apart all the pictures, family movies, ebooks, games etc you would like to stash I also recommend to
Now the kicker, you need to have 2 backups of all this data (apk, eBooks, pdf, maps and dl Wikipedia) on at least 2 different SD cards apart on having it on the phones. You don’t want to lose your phone with all the apps and be unable to read the eBook on your backup phone, don’t you? And remember to have a set of your data in another location (at parents/kids home)
Useful links to pdfs:
A good blogpost that I discovered after buying all the above link

Yes, Coud backup is exactly the same. Google Play Services allows developers to upload any app data too. It's a recent feature and developers need to include this functionality within their apps. Android M is due to expand on this functionality. OEM's have additional tools available also.
If all you're wanting to do is transfer data all you need to do is place two android phones back-to-back during setup, all data will transfer automatically. I don't believe iPhones can do this.
You can rip apps from your phone too. Although backup applications include this functionality there are dedicated apps for this too. iPhones don't allow you to do so. Looks like Noyze is freely available on GitHub too.
an app like APK Extractor should work. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
you'd save it and then pull it off the phone or you may even be able to upload it to google drive (or another service) from the device.
Apk extractor link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui
How can this be your favorite game? It's not a game at all, just a short disturbing video with gay clowns, if I remember correctly. Doesn't matter. The emulator for GearVR/GO is already available on your quest and 90% of all games already work with it. Unfortunately there is no official way to load your purchased games on the quest yet. But you can try it for yourself. About 70% of the games have a rudimentary copy protection and don't start on the quest, because there is no GearVR/GO shop that can confirm your ID. 30% of the games work without any problems: Download this app to your mobile phone and extract the app you want to test:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=en
Later you will find the apk file in the folder "ExtractedApks" in your phone. Copy the file and install it with Sideload and start it in your quest. Your quest must of course be in developer mode.
Use a 3rd party app like this one
