It’s a fake/reproduction. I’ll admit it’s a pretty good one though.
Look up blank snes cartridge and you’ll see that there is a blank oval on the back instead of a Nintendo logo. I checked my copy I’ve had since the 90’s and there’s a elongated oval Nintendo logo under the warning label and not a blank spot
Sorry man, I think they hosed you. If they were charging like $20 and made it clear it was a repo then that would be ok but they’re assholes. Here’s my copy:

Did you do everything here:
I haven’t personally but there are some reviews that say that it’s a pretty typical mobile game and the price is because they cut out microtransactions. Here’s the Kotaku one: https://kotaku.com/final-fantasy-dimensions-ii-is-nothing-like-the-first-1820043127

There's the FAQ's at gamefaqs which give a comprehensive list of all known endings.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/563538-chrono-trigger/faqs/17035 Look it up under section 4-B
I haven't seen any alternative endings myself, yet.
Never heard of it - it's this thing? If so, it seems Frog is already part of the cast.
Not gonna bother with mobile garbage, but it does seem to have some production quality, which is nice.
I use a Bluetooth controller with iOS - works great!

I have these old ones but there’s new ones called shapes that can support more than 30
Sorry, I take that back; Lavos did not pull Dinopolis from the other dimension. But I'm almost certain that after Lavo's merge with Schala, it can manipulate time (otherwise why would it be a threat in all spacetime?)
>Finally, we know that Crono and the gang beat the tar out every part of Lavos. How did its defeat result in it being dropped into a place beyond, but still connected to, time? Could Lavos manipulate time? Or was its final battle in Chrono Trigger meant to be a thematic conclusion and a demonstration of all the life forms it had assimilated while within the planet?
Allow me re-answer this section:
>Schala was thrown into a dimensional vortex at the Ocean Palace disaster along with the machine itself, where either Lavos or temporal disruptions began a merging of the two beings at a place called the Darkness Beyond Time.
The Time Devourer was forming before Lavos in Chrono Trigger was even defeated. And being in a place that's beyond time and still connected - that shouldn't be a problem for you to accept since the End of Time is such a place.
Why would Lavos even bother merging with Schala?

i never played the DS version and was wondering what they changed that line to, so i looked it up
found the answer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wArYNkXK_No#t=11m13s
"Death to the mystics enemies!" apparently became "Death to the enemies of fiendkind!" .. i guess they changed "mystics" to "fiends" throughout the game
some interesting commentary on this thread: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/950181-chrono-trigger/56984788?page=2
e.g. "Overall it's more accurate.
As for the whole mystics vs. fiends terminology, the Japanese word, "mazoku" as it's used in fiction, often (though not always) refers to evil beings that are enemies of humans. And in Japanese mythology it was the general term for devils, demons, and evil beings. In that context, and given that these beings are not human and fight against humans, I think fiends works better here than mystics.
The problem I always had with the mystics term is that it doesn't specifically designate them as non-human. The word mystic can refer to either a human or a non-human, but the word fiend specifically describes a being that is non-human."
Not condoning the use of emulators, but i was able to download it from http://vimm.net and got it to play on my laptop nicely. I ended up purchasing a ps2-style controller from Gamestop. twas quite a lovely experience.
although, i think i ended up having to insert disc 2 during the "switch to disc 2 now" before i could play the second portion of the game. once i saved while playing on disc 2 i never had to insert it again, though.
Yeah. It's hard for me to tell where my good judgement ends and where my rose-tinted glasses start, but it's a little tough for me to say that I'd want a remake of FFIX with 3D exploration like FFXIII. Part of the appeal of that game was the static backgrounds, especially in places like Memoria and Ipsen. (Edit: the same can be said of how I feel about Cross.)
But I can't help but think a good, offiicial HD remake of FFVII would reenergize their jaded fanbase, and there's no way to argue that the market doesn't exist.
I just hope projects like Mighty No. 9 help convince companies that there really is an interest in well-done games that aren't solely about trying to be innovative or having the best graphics.
There’s an interesting part about this part of the game and the overall structure of the story within a book called Chrono Trigger (Boss Fight Books) there’s an audio edition on audible as well.
