(WFTO dev here)
When I made the decision to do this I was in a pretty emotional state (it was less than a day after the news), and honestly, over the following week before the deal going live part of me became really concerned that it may be perceived the wrong way.
How wrong I was... I am so incredibly proud of the result, it’s incredible what we managed to achieve working together. I really, really appreciate all the support from the team at Chrono and everyone else that helped spread the word. You all rock.
Whenever donations were mentioned TB said he always preferred that people at least get something for their money. I’m glad we managed to honour that wish whilst still doing so much.
<3
(And for those that may not have seen it: here is why we did this)
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. I also want to say Clash Royale
Thank you /u/chronozak from Chrono.gg. I asked if the chrono /tb link would still continue to benefit TB's family in /r/gamedeals yesterday he said they were cooking something special, but this is really perfect.
The devs also made a post on Steam highlighting how crucial TB was to getting them to their funding goal. Also a nice photo when Josh from the dev team met John and Genna at Cox Con 2015.
Well done to all who put this together.
The Cynical imp was originally an April fools thing they did in 2014:

Obviously referencing TB, he was a backer of their Kickstarter I believe.
If I understand the release notes correctly, the "adventure pouch" is just a set of custom quests, involving themes of the upcoming expansion.
IE: It's optional content, separate from the cards in the expansion.
Pre-ordering it now, gives you limited edition skins/cardbacks/emotes/ect.
Perhaps I'm wrong tho?
*Here's a link for anyone interested in investigating the upcoming expansion and the "adventure pouch" pre-order: https://www.faeria.com/news/announcements/139-introducing-the-adventure-pouch-oversky
While the game loads it says "Titanfall: Assault", and why do you think it was an accident? From what I know TB like playing mobile games, especially if it include cards.
One thing I think would really help grow the game, is if the "refer-a-friend" reward system was set up with a "code" (link) instead of being based on e-mail invites.
IE: I'd imagine they'd get a lot better response if people could just post a refer-link on their social media, rather than requiring you to collect your friends e-mails one at a time.
*For those curious, you can find more info on the refer-a-friend system here:
https://www.faeria.com/recruit-your-friends
EDIT:
It seems people under lv5 or those creating new accounts can just put in another players name to get the free packs from being "referred" and leveling up.
So if anyone wants those, feel free to "link" up with my account.

*Use the little "gear" icon in the ingame friend list and type the name in the appropriate box.
I use Podcast Republic.
I like it because you can subscribe to any podcast you want, you have control over when and how to stream or download (for example allow streaming over mobile, but do auto downlaods of new episodes while on WiFi), it remembers your playing position for every episode (so you can pick up where you stopped), and it has auto-delete options (so the podcast episodes don't clog up your phone storage)
You might be interested in trying A Dark Room (it's currently free on Android):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yourcompany.adarkroom&hl=en
It starts out as a clicker, but there's also an ascii adventurer and a bit of other stuff. Instead of trying to be addictive and endless like other clicker games, it's relatively short and action oriented. I haven't played many idle games, but some of the ideas seemed interesting to me. There's a story bonus for beating it more than once, but I've only done it once so I don't know if it's worth it
I can recommend AntennaPod for Android. (It also has support for built-in chapter marks, but the SoundCloud mp3 files don't have them embedded of course.)
A memorial from the War For The Overworld devs. According to them, TB's videos were absolutely instrumental in developing the game not once, but twice.
I searched for it afterwards too (believe Jesse said he recommends a starter kit from amazon every time someone asks). Nothing perfectly matched what he was talking about the Samson c01u Pro has a few little kits if you search that on amazon. This one seems complete and is the closest to the price he said
I just use podcast addict
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bambuna.podcastaddict&hl=en
It has all the podcasts that i want(cooptional, bombcast, beastcast, hardcore history) and automatically downloads them, removes silence, etc. Very cool app.
Yeah, I was probably a little harsh - I'm definitely fine with the procedural generation and other concepts. But yeah, FTL is another perfect example, and something I've complained to my friends about, but since it's possible to mod, after a quick google I found this http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3542 . I might give it a go sometime!
Hi /u/shoddyradio
Fancy meeting you here! lol
The guys from the discord channel helped me understand it and I tried it out with a few friends, I'll copy and paste what I said to /u/scaltra, I don't know if this will be useful or not:
> got to play it a bit and it's incredibly fun and hectic... I would recommend it when it's on sale! But at full price I don't think I can convince 3 other people to buy it. Tho my group has decided to buy it whenever it's on sale... so that's 4 copies sold thanks to the demo!
> I just wish that the demo was advertised a bit better... :(
I'm not going to say that I'd know what to do exactly when it comes to showing off the demo, but... Being honest, this demo is amazing! I think the only demo that I liked more than this one was Stanley Parable...
As for price, I missed the https://www.chrono.gg/ promo if it was still up I'd have probably bought the 4 pack to play with my group. I could not convince anyone to buy it at full price however...
Hopefully any of this helps in some way...
TB does have a flair, but it's easy to miss since it's in gray.
However, you should get RES, you can give colorful tags to users with it. Amongst variety of other very useful features.
>Right now the more stuff you have, the less chance you have to find the stuff you need due to duplicates.
Overwatch also mitigated this a lot back in July. Duplicates are now near impossible to get unless your collection is ~95% full. It's only an issue that far up and by that point you should have enough credits to buy the last 5%.
I have around 2/3 of all items (3/4 non-event items) and haven't gotten a single duplicate since the patch dropped. Also since your main source of credits is no longer duplicates, they bumped the rate of straight credit drops to more than compensate. So you can still save up for any specific thing you want easily.
The only exceptions to this are the 2 Blizzcon skins and the Origins Edition skins.
Go check it out on Green Man Gaming. Seems to be reguar retail price there. https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/sid-meiers-civilization-vi/
It's also cheaper than steam to get a steam code through Amazon, though not as cheap as Greenman.
I found it/a similar program on GitHub. It literally takes less than a minute to install and set up, fixed the issue perfectly for me.
And it's free.
Hmm. I can only really suggest trying this workaround with AMD GPU's: https://itch.io/post/159670 This seems to be something that's related to the engine itself and not something we may be able to fix unfortunately!
> The scenario where all games would be free software is just impossible. Not in the world we live in.
However, it is possible. OpenTTD to name just one example. It just takes a little more business genius.
You should get yourself a super-basic Android phone purely to use Google Authenticator with. Let me tell you, you do NOT want to live in a world where your most sensitive online accounts do not have 2FA. Password security is utterly meaningless on its own now. Just check yourself out on have I been pwned, you'll probably be shocked to see how much of your data has been leaked.
I imagine you can get one of those phones for like <$40 if you're buying off brand chinese stuff.
As for your install folders I've never had that problem, in fact Blizzard is one of the few developers that never embraced Microsoft's System folders (%appdata% / documents / etc) so you can literally just copy + paste from one place to another and it will just work. It sounds like you messed up your installs, but it would take you five minutes to fix it if you wanted to.
Literally just copy + paste!
I don't think at all that a 600$ chair is that expensive for a chair. Just think about how many hours you'll be using that thing. If you work from home it's completely worth it.
If we where to only use it one year and only when on working time with a regular 40hour work week you'd get: 52 * 40 = 14600 hours. 624$(the chair TB recomended) / 14600 is just a 4.2 cents per hour of use for good support and personal health while in that same time making a bit more money than you spend.
Not gonna lie, I had the game is wwe champions? https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/wwe-champions-free-puzzle-rpg/id1017432937?mt=8. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scopely.whiplash&hl=en.
