My wife bought it for me for Father’s Day. It’s adorable.
If you want a more grounded view of the day to day of the job, check out Cleaning the Kingdom. It’s a book written by two former custodial cast members and it goes into extreme detail about the job. It talks about the schedule, the tasks, and the good, the bad, and the fun of of the job. It’s a really easy read - highly recommended.
The co-authors also do a podcast where they talk all things Disney called The Sweep Spot

Wait wait wait. This is perhaps the ONE car that can pull this off, WHY does he not have it?
You definitely can make great money doing this and the feeling you get from doing it is even more awesome! Me, personally, I'm just starting out myself but I've already learned so much. As far as making good money, a lot of it depends on your area. I'm in New York City so charging a little more than other places is almost expected here.
Another thing to consider is what you're offering. If you just wanna show up, do pics, sing and dance a bit and be done, totally cool, but if you offer more things like face painting, nail art, balloons etc. you can charge more, you can have different packages and prices.
As far as costumes, aside from accessories and details, stay off Etsy for costumes and wigs (this is coming from someone who ADORES Etsy) But for custom made costumes and wigs...yeah. No. EBay. EBay. EBAY!! I usually order my custom costumes from sellers in China. It takes a little longer to get but the quality and price you can't beat. Also, I would sing the praises of the Angel-Secret store on Storenvy.com from a mountain top if I could. Amazing store!
PM me if you have any other questions!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XIMM6VS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NyKdDbXJH23Y6
It was like $30 but my only other option was getting a custom made one from a craft store and they quoted me like $150. I was a little skeptical because of how cheap the amazon one was, but it looks good and has been doing its thing for a year now. It was also easy to put together and get the picture in. It comes with a plastic front panel so the art is protected and you wouldn’t notice that it’s not glass.
You really need a frame if you want to hang it because it comes in a rolled tube so it’s hard to keep flat, unless you used push pins maybe but then you’d put holes in the picture.
All in all I love my painting! It’s in my living room and it’s so cool turning off the lights to go to bed and seeing the glow!
Apparently, it's a set of mugs. So if you want BOTH for the price of just that one, Amazon has both of them!
Yes, please let us know. I would love to get this for the family to work on over Christmas.
Edit: The moment I posted I realized I should try a reverse image search. Found the puzzle on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Disney-piece-theater-D-2000-608-Tenyo/dp/B009IDNNNG

I saw it on a post a while ago, so I had to get it!
Bought on Amazon If anyone else is up for the challenge. It's 2000 pieces which is double what I am used too, only place I could work on it is in the Kitchen table, the only hard surface large enough for this thing.
I was super interested in finding this, so if anyone else wants to find/order this I believe this is it on Amazon: Clementoni "Impossible Tsum Puzzle (1000 Piece) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G5GNVR6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_N84hDbTXN732E
I haven't seen the commercial, so I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for. But I found This. It says it's over 3ft tall and works with 10.5" dolls.
There are 2 mounts on his chair. One is on the handle to get his PoV. The second is mounted by his feet looking back at him to get his reactions. I am really glad I did this, as we caught some pretty cool things.
I am guessing you are interested in the removable mount that is on his handle. I got the Fotopro UFO2 from amazon. It's a flexible tripod with rubber legs that really worked well. I didn't have any problems with it slipping or moving. I used it for various applications from making a 2 hand grip with a wider base to holding 1 leg and wrapping the other 2 around my arm while on a ride so I couldn't drop the camera. It really did work well for me, and I would recommend it. As of this post, amazon has it for $20.99.
The lower mount is a bit of a cobbled together rig. I started with a Ram Mount brand base that we used to attach his iPad to his chair when he needed a communication device. I took the iPad mount off and used a gopro clamp to mount the 2nd camera.
Our Kingdom of Dust was pretty good. Kinsey's other book "Dark Side of Disney" is also pretty funny - its a non-fiction look at ways to get into trouble at Disney World.
Here's a goodreads list that seems to have a bunch of books on it.
Why? Flickr is great for photos if you care about quality. What issue do you have with it? It's instantly available in the link.

500px has tons of useless shit spammed across the top for social media sharing, on every damn picture. Flickr has resolution choices, for the photo.
At worst they're damned near identical for displaying a photo to someone, which is what the person is doing.
Sure! This is my Facebook page, though I don't post as much as I should. I mostly post through Instagram. My handle is @Katiebug_Cosplay 😊 And you??

But really it was replaced in 1999 to match the 3D film next door. Most people hated it and they replaced it with a slightly less hated ride in 2002.

The Bad News: There was no official 'Art of Beauty and the Beast' book made in the 1990s.
The Good News: In 1993 there WAS an updated re-release of the must-have Disney book, 'Disney's The Art of Animation' that devoted the ENTIRE SECOND HALF of the book to a detailed account of the creation of 'Beauty and the Beast'. There is a lot of concept art in there, and a lot of great behind the scenes photos of the cast and crew. It is currently available for under $4 on Amazon. (https://www.amazon.com/DISNEYS-ART-ANIMATION-Disneys-Animation/dp/1562829971)
The Great News: Ten years ago, Disney historian Charles Solomon put out a GORGEOUS, concept art-filled, over-sized Making Of/Art of 'Beauty and the Beast' book titled, 'Tale as Old as Time: The Art and Making of Disney Beauty and the Beast'. It quickly went out of print and used copies were selling online for $300. Then the live-action adaption was announced, and Solomon convinced Disney to re-release the book with extra content about the live-action film. So now the book is HUGE -- and only $30-$50 on Amazon. (Link: https://www.amazon.com/Tale-Old-Time-Animated-Live-action/dp/1484758374)
NOTE: The above link are NOT Amazon Associates links and I do not profit in any way from purchases made through them.)
Hey there - so these work great! We include them with our bags when people only have the standard rubber non locking pins that. Always fall off! amazon link
I might be the wrong person to answer this, but Disney has been involved in several technology-related enhancements over the years. Walt's ingenuity in new modes of animation are well known, as well as Disney parks' contributions to the field of animatronics. Obviously, they've had a hand in theme park and ride technologies for decades.
More recently (and more to the point of your question), there has been some buzz about Disney's interest in 3D printing; specifically, they've apparently put a lot of focus into printing light sources and optics. There has also been word of them researching "interactive cakes" that utilize elements of augmented reality.
Beyond that, I'm not sure the full extent to which they're involved in the tech industry, but I know that they're usually involved in researching new technologies of some sort.
Made this list and just realized people here might want to use it. I'm sure somebody else on the site has already made it (I bet there's even a list page for the company), but I like having these lists exactly how I want them.
If you notice any mistakes (like omissions), let me know and I'll see if it needs fixing. And before anyone says it, Nightmare Before Christmas was Touchstone. :P
Incidentally, I also made a Touchstone list. I really love Letterboxd.

Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Walt: The Man Behind the Myth, here are some Trailers
Not but I would like too. I would love a copy of the tiki room. I collect mostly historical electronic music.
But I do have one obscure crossover piece. There was a musician, Michael Iceburg, who played an array of synthesizers which he called "The Amazing Iceberg Machine" in Tommorowland in The Magic Kingdom durring the mid 70s (the golden era of analogue synths IMO) and through the 80s. I have a signed copy of this peice. Its almost like owning some barely pressed punk album in the realm of park music vinyl.
Absolutely. I'll post it as soon as I get the rest of the models together and cleaned up. I hope to have it uploaded in the next week or so. If you want you can follow me on Thingiverse here so you don't miss it.
This was a very long post just to argue semantics. Did you really needed to make a huge post to point out Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray are different things even though it is pretty safe to assume the OP is aware of that?
Broadcast is also a very simple definition. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/broadcast. For example here is a press release outlining "broadcast" of 4k content. http://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/rogers-announces-gigabit-internet-and-worlds-largest-commitment-to-live-sports-broadcasting-in-4k-with-hdr-530691121.html
I'm honestly blown away by the fact that you didn't argue that UHD resolution is not in fact true 4k given the rest of your post.
There were some rumors floating around indicating that Disney was not interested in UHD until Dolby Vision was readily available for consumer purchase and that they are also not interested in producing 4k discs based on 2k masters.
I have been slowly building my blu-ray collection. Every 6 months or so Disney releases new ones from the vault and retires some old ones, so you'll see on amazon or wherever that some of the blu-rays seem outrageously priced (Snow White, Pinnochio, etc.). But don't fear! They cycle back out of the vault again eventually, you just have to have patience. I can usually get them at the best price by pre-ordering on amazon, or they sometimes go on sale periodically throughout the year. To ones I don't need to have right away, I set up a price watcher at http://camelcamelcamel.com/ and they email me when the movies drop down to my price point I set.
Before we went to Disney World in May of last year, I decided to re-watch a bunch of my favorites and catch up on ones I haven't seen yet. I purchased what I was comfortable buying, but if you have a DVR, the Disney Channels play their own movies all the time. I used my TV remote to search by all movies on those particular channels and then just set my DVR to record anything I wanted to watch. Also, a lot of Disney movies are on Netflix right now, including Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, The Sword and the Stone, Hercules, etc., so be sure to check that out too if you have it.
And, make sure you enter those points you get inside the movie at http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/member/index.htm . They can add up quick and you can get some free Blu-Rays with points from them too. You can also get points randomly through their facebook page and through promo emails from them too.
I can't find one, but maybe you can listen yourself to the CD? Even if you don't buy it, Amazon has 30 second samples, which is pretty good since most of the tracks are 1 - 2 minutes long. https://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disney-World-Wishes-Gathering/dp/B00B2XJCLM
I found this blog entry too: http://thedisneydrivenlife.com/2011/02/05/the-music-of-wishes/
My grandma recorded Zenon onto VHS for me. I should dig it out.
But if you want to watch it online, looks like Amazon has it. $3 to rent. Only $6 to buy!

Meijer has them in Louisville, KY. Also Jet.com
It’s a front porch light cover I found on amazon. I made a Halloween wreath I posted here a few months ago. And I was looking for something similar for Christmas. This was the best thing I could find and it lights up beautifully from behind.

And I painted our family name on the white part of the hat as well.
Doubt it.
Not all of them are recorded, just some when they are doing something for either a video or home release extra.
If you're an aspiring writer, the best things you can do are:
1) Read "Screenplay" by Sid Field, "Story" by Robert McKee, "Hero with a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell, & "The Writer's Journey" by Christopher Vogler.
2) Write some short 5-10 minute screenplays and film them. This is the absolute best thing, since once you see what you've written put on film, you get a sense of what you need to include and what you don't. For example, the last film I worked on, we ended up cutting an entire scene because all of the information given in that scene had already been shown someplace else -- so we didn't need the added explanation.
This beauty that just came out, though it's not so much "reading" as it is enjoying the lore from the show similar to the Gravity Falls journal.
Joe, Check out a monopod/tripod/walking stick. I've got one by Sunpak Versipod II(can't find any currently) but this Trek Stick is very similar. This will never actually happen. The legislation puts in a date of June 2023 for the actual dissolution. Disney just has to call their bluff and let the courts handle it. Most of the people who voted for this probably had no idea about any of the implications.
I actually got a copy of this book from my library. It's a pretty interesting read so far about the creation of Reedy Creek (and more I'm sure, but I'm only up to that part)
When I zoomed in on the face, I thought it looked like Anne Hathaway. The White Queen doll
Gettin' in before they close this afternoon, eh? https://weather.com/news/news/2019-09-03-hurricane-dorian-florida-impacts-flooding-evacuations
Oh those are from the advent calendar. You got 25 unique Christmas esque Tsum-Tsum for like 130 bucks o.o (at Disneyland where I saw it).
Now on Ebay and other online stores, they are asking $200-300!!
The design features Rapunzel's Tower, the Snuggly Duckling, and the capital city of Corona.

This article seems to be relevant:
https://lifehacker.com/these-1923-copyrighted-works-enter-the-public-domain-in-1825241296
The original novel is supposedly entering public domain this year. Allegedly Disney got in trouble for this a couple years back, believing it was public domain beforehand when Felix Salten's estate still had ownership of it.
yes, such a cool idea. Irvine the city in California was somewhat modeled after the original EPCOT. Please check out this youtube video Walt Disneys plan for EPCOT and if you are still interested, this website original epcot
Yes there is! When you click on any of the links here, it'll take you to Behance. If you just click off of the image (like the Pocahontas image) it takes you off of that specific image and you should be able to see the rest of my portfolio. Also, I post my stuff on Tumblr if you have an account on there. :)

I bet if you tweet them an @reply with evidence they would give credit... or something...
This is so sweet! Happy early 70th to your dad, still thriving at disney, that's amazing. amazon has great shirts (https://www.amazon.com/Funny-Happy-70th-Birthday-T-Shirt/dp/B07P8MZ28B) but also pinterest helps with those and its so easy to make your own group shirts too.
space 220 in epcot is a great place to have a fun birthday dinner especially if he's a star wars fan. would do reservations ahead of time since it's fairly packed/new
Oops, I know you posted this a while ago, so I'm a little late to respond, but they were available as Disney Store exclusives. Limited edition with only up to 8000 made per doll.
They did all the standard princesses and Rapunzel as well. They went on sale one at a time for five weeks, then the remaining five went on sale last Monday. We ended up getting Ariel, Rapunzel, Aurora, and Jasmine, and they are absolutely beautiful collectables!
People are selling them on eBay but for ridiculously marked up prices (2-4 times the purchase price of $60).
/u/akesterson I found a black version here

I found them via him but they're actually Mike Yamada's.

There are different styles with the art of classic Disney, Pixar, The Princesses, etc. I think they're boxes with postcards in them? They aren't too expensive and it looks like you get a lot per box.
Still waiting as well!
The only information that has been released since then was on February 2nd, in which Gameloft and GungHo announced that GungHo would distribute Disney Magic Kingdoms in Japan. Still no mention of date or anything else about it. :(
Quite nice! My wife (karin1876) and I would each love to have one of these. We're happy to pay your for your efforts. Also, my wife is a big Piglet fan, but Disney rarely makes t-shirts with this character, so if you could add or make one with a Piglet image she'd be tickled, er, pink. Here's an image of Piglet you could use. We're both size medium.
If you go to the homepage and sign up for the trial, it only pings your account for $1 then you get 7 days to check it out.
Go sign up. If you don't like it, cancel before the 1st bill.
Wonder why they would even be blocking IPs to begin with? I can't even access the site on my desktop anymore, all I get is: The server at www.disneyplus.com is taking too long to respond.
I can still access it on my phone though using the same internet connection so I'm not 100% sure what is happening.
> It was used for a commercial advertising the Disney theme parks and resorts including Disneyland, Walt Disney World in Florida,Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Resort Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and the Disney Vacation Club This song was used as an intro for The Wonderful World of Disney
Either that, or your thinking of Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.
Clothes are great, if you ask what size they need, and Disney clothes run small so if size up by one size. Personally my favorite 1 year old gift is a push/ride car, they can push while learning to walk and then later ride on it like a car, if they have friends or siblings eventually they can push while someone else sits on the seat. Amazon has these that are also Mickey Mouse

Mine was a gift from my sister, and I think she got it at our local Barnes & Noble. You can probably get it from any typical bookseller, though. Here it is on Amazon.
You can find it at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slyslothgames.disneyquiz
The game consists of 500 questions, be it characters, quotes or trivia

I really hope you enjoy it, I had lots of fun making it. If you have any feedback I'd love to hear it!
It isn't on the App Store yet, so probably tomorrow.
Also FYI, it is now available on Google Play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.disney.disneyplus&hl=en_US
I love your signs! They are fantastic. The Cozy Cone is adorable and I might have some info you'd be interested in since you mentioned an issue with the EL wire brightness- I'm making a faux neon sign right now as well and using iNextStation Neon LED Strip Light which is like EL Wire on steroids with a super bright glow. They aren't as thin but are still really flexible :)
I need this.

Edit: ordered. :)
So maybe They Drew As They Pleased? Volume 1 is the 1930's and looks like it covers a lot of Snow White.
There's also a Snow White art & concept book that looks to be right what you're looking for.
If you are into reading, The Villain Series is a great set of short novels that give more background (technically non canon) on the villains. My wife has read The Twisted Tales series and likes them. They are sort of a “what if” series.
How about Disney knitting patterns? There are a bunch out there. (I have this book) Try googling or Etsy search ‘disney knitting pattern’, or her favorite characters
Thanks! I got this EL Wire multipack on Amazon that had a bunch of colors. For the Cozy Cone sign I used 4 color so I got the splitter that routes 4 wires into a single battery pack, but it also made it 4x as dim so I just went with 4 battery packs. I suppose I could have spliced all the battery packs together and used a single switch to toggle between the different blinking modes, but the housing had enough space to store all of them so, meh. Lol. I'll check out the iNextStation ones for a possible next project!
Thanks for posting the link! It took me about 3 hours to put it together. Having a cricut helps a lot! I got the balloons from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058EAOH2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6nqhFbHD813M0
Amazon would be your best bet.
I would start with a disneyland castle (sleeping beauties castle) backdrop https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q56VVZV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_VJ6GEb0ZTYBYS Or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVXC73X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_oP6GEb9WKMB9M
But maybe consider doing a theme per room so you can incorperate each movie rather than mashing them together lol
Amazon has the best price and Prime shipping... Walmart and Macy's also have them for sure.
amazon seems to have some:
Disney Wreck-It-Ralph Princesses Selfie
there are more. those are just a couple of examples.
These will be your best options for compilations containing music from the renaissance period

Ok is it just me but:
Edit: Amazon has some of the Tomorrowland pins.
Heat Press I bought my wife last year. Made these so much easier and quality is far better.
OP, you might want to post this over at /r/cricut, they'll love it too. And I'll add to the list of people asking about a copy of that SVG file you used to make this...
The only ones currently in stock are called Have a Laugh, which you can find on DVD or iTunes. Each volume has 30 minutes of cartoons.
The best collections were based on each character like the Chronological Donald Duck. It's all of the cartoons for that character in order and uncut. They're out of print, so there is quite a markup on them.
If you're looking for something about little weird details, the "Vault of Walt" series by Jim Korkis is fantastic.
Each book is full of short pieces about various Disney related things, for example;
While you should probably also get a comprehensive book of the company, these are also something you should read if you want to know the odd things that most Disney history books miss out (either because they don't quite fit into the topics of the other books, or because they're somewhat obscure). They're also books where you can easily pick up and read a piece during lunch or on a commute.
I'd recommend getting the first book (The Revised Vault of Walt), and if you like it, getting more.
You can also read a review/interview here on Yesterland (which is also a site you should check out if you're interested in Disney history).
I'm using my older 2013 infocus Projector at a resolution of 1600x900 (non-native, the projector max res native I believe is 800x600)
If you're looking for it on DVD, it looks like it's on https://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disney-Treasures-Mickey-Mouse/dp/B0002S64UA. (Check to see if your local libraries have a copy if you don't want to spend the money.)
Is it just those two sources you don't want or is it any web-based video site? If the former, google the video and add -youtube -dailymotion in the query. It should eliminate results from those two sites.
Something like this might work - it's an art portfolio that has clear sleeves that you can put the lithographs in. Theoretically it should fit in this but there are multiple sizes that you can choose from! Plus you can take off the sticker on the front and customize the front and the binding :)
While admittedly I'm pretty over zombies as a pop culture touchstone, all I could think of was Generation Dead, which, interestingly, got published by Disney/Hyperion... depending how they handle it, it could be -- as the books were and are -- a really good way to get kids thinking about discrimination issues and a few other things that rarely get brought up in the mainstream zombie narrative, since the zombies aren't usually given much agency. Of course there's the chance they'll take it in a silly direction, but I am cautiously optimistic that it will be more akin to Generation Dead and the sequels than to TWD or even NotLD.
tl;dr: I read YA novels without shame and have too much time to think about the implications of pop culture
Wow.
I love Disney, and B&tB is one of the great movies, but this...is ridiculous.
$129 (instead of $280) for the standard version of the same piece, and the differences that make it a special edition are not exactly magical.
Thanks! Bummer! I wish I didn't have to wait that long, but it's fine! Thanks a ton!
Do you know if I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WDRT1Y?ref_=pfb_1h6gb6kagb0fflfi6bb3l3hldjb7&tag=hydfbook0e-20&ascsubtag=pfb-P01-V01-O3-B110
It still wouldn't work?
If anyone is interested, he also wrote a great book called Spinning Disney's World.
"Hottest Alice in Wonderland in halterless socks & sexy cleavage drawn Art by Artgerm". ...... Isn't the artist Robert Gill?https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1937068668/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=17T92ZA8TVQY8&coliid=I122UDWAMWC1FU
Ah, Tenyo puzzles are awesome! We just finished the 1000 piece version of this: https://www.amazon.com/Tenyo-Disney-Characters-Stained-Jigsaw/dp/B005SL87LU/ref=pd_sim_21_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2YJG79SQQRZQ77SMM52C
It can be a bit pricey, but I highly recommend The Art of Walt Disney: From Mickey Mouse to the Magic Kingdoms. It's a big book that focuses on the art direction, animation styles, and "behind-the-scenes" decisions behind most of Disney's most famous works, from Steamboat Willie to the latest Pixar creations (in newer editions of the book). As the title suggests, even Disney Parks are highlighted. It's chock full of concept art, model sheets, and interviews from throughout the entire history of the company, and is considered a classic among Disneyphiles and fans of pop culture in general. Here's a short video preview of the book.
I would definitely check hot topic, they always have a ton of little mermaid merchandise. These sound like the books you're looking for though https://www.amazon.ca/Tale-Old-Time-Making-Beauty/dp/1423124812. https://www.amazon.com/Art-Little-Mermaid-Disney-Miniature/dp/0786863358/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1470065815&sr=8-12&keywords=the+little+mermaid+art+book.
> Cinderella didn't get one.
It didn't? That would explain why I haven't been able to find one either, but I thought it did. For some reason, that version seems to have disappeared from stores.
Our next Disney trip is still months away, so I thought I’d create a little Disney heaven at home for my husband. First, I made a DoleWhip (his favorite) using recipes found online (Pinterest has a ton). While he ate that, I put on Dark Ride cologne from Xyrena (https://xyrena.com/product/darkrideedp/) and played the soundtrack from his favorite “dark ride” Splash Mountain. Then, I lit the Fireside woodwick candle (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HLRPZA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00) which is supposed to smell like “Rome is burning” from Spaceship Earth (“Call it, the first back-up system”). I’ll admit, it wasn’t a strong smell, but it certainly made the crackling noises. I played the soundtrack from Spaceship Earth. It transported us back to Disney!
Note: The Dark Ride cologne is seriously awesome. Pricey, but so worth it for the true Disney fan! I would try to find a different candle, this really didn’t have the strong “Rome is burning” smell I had hoped for. Anyone else have ideas?
They are ornaments. I believe they were sold in the Disney store (2014) but here is an Amazon link - http://www.amazon.com/Disney-Holiday-Wall-E-Eve-Ornament/dp/B009XXHS78 . I actually have two of the same ornaments bc my bf's parents recently went to Disney World and brought back another one :P
