Hamburg is famous for it's harbour, so I recommend you go to "Landungsbrücken". This is a place you can also see a lot of times on postcards.
From Landungsbrücken you can go by foot to the "Elbphilharmonie", it's just 10-15 minutes and on your way you will see a bit from the "Speicherstadt" (~ old warehouse district).
I can also recommend you to take a ferry and have a look at Hamburg. You don't have to make a harbour tour for 20+ Euros, if you buy a ticket for the local public transport in Hamburg it also includes ferrys. You will see almost the same, only big difference is that you won't get further information.
For the local public transport I recommend you the official "HVV"-App.
"The HVV GmbH is responsible for managing the entire palette of local public transport on behalf of three federal states, seven administrative districts, more than 30 public transport operators and something like 3.4 million residents. That includes all services by bus, harbour/river ferry and rapid transit - (U-, S-, A-Bahn) or regional rail (R-Bahn)."
Here you can check out how you can get to your destination, when trains or busses are driving, how much you have to pay and if you create an account you could buy tickets via App.
And last I recommend you to go to "Jungfernstieg" and walk around the "Binnenalster". It is near the central station and you will find a lot of stores there.
Have a nice stay!

This! I can recommend taking the ferry (with your bike on board) from Landungsbrücken or Teufelsbrück to Finkenwerder, and then slowly cycling through the gorgeous countryside until you get to Stade (or Buxtehude, if you don't want to go so far). Relax, wander around Stade’s lovely old city centre, then load your bike onto the S-Bahn and return to Hamburg :)
I'm sorry I can't help you with your question. Just wanted to mention that you should give https://www.deepl.com/translator a try for automated translations. They provide way better translations IMHO.
There's an app by the German aerospace regulation office (DFS). It will show you where you can fly. https://apps.apple.com/de/app/dfs-drohnenapp/id1261457960 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=aero.unifly.dfs&hl=en
But it's also very complicated. Depends on the height of flight and many other factors. If you stay below 30m it's easier. If you want to fly higher than that it gets more difficult because of airports, helicopter pads etc.
There are multiple official RC airfields where you can fly safely. Just search for "Modellflugplatz Hamburg" on Google.
Sorry about your situation and I hope you two can sort things out.
I've been an Airbnb host a while back. I can't offer you a room since I've moved since but you should find rooms with instant booking here
You should be able to get a room for about 35€/night; I've seen some are cheaper, just click the link. Pretty much everyone here speaks at least basic English.
You'll have a hard time finding any professional places hosting you as long as you don't have a travel permit signed by your parents. Anyone hosting you might get into trouble since you aren't of legal age. So keep that in mind and make sure to behave.
You'll find free Wifi at every Starbucks and lots of other places, too.
As a very last resort there's always the Bahnhofsmission at the main train station. But before you go there you should really just take an early flight home to Manchester.
I can recommend BLKLBR in Winterhude. There are three experienced artists and the shop is pretty new so it's likely to get an appointment fast and uncomplicated. I don't know about the prices i only went went there once and i think it was reasonable.
What kind of style do you want your tattoo to be in?
Nothing to add to the environmental engineering questions, but I want to stress what u/FlummDiDumm said: Learn German as much and as early as possible if you want to increase your chances in the job market. Especially since you are moving with a partner who is not a native German speaker either (I assume), you need to make an effort to learn it on your own.
A few things you can do now, before moving:
Best of luck with everything! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions (language, apartment hunt, dealing with German culture...). My wife (American) and I (German) moved from the US to Hamburg in December so I have some experience with your situation.

The hamburg airport control zone is managed by the DFS. They allow flying up to 50m (which is plenty for line of sight) in a distance over 1.5km from the airport for noncommercial flights. Other than that the normal german regulations apply, so you can't get close to the Elbe or any large streets. The app from the DFS is quite good in showing all applicable restrictions for an area and also has some reliability because its their control zone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=aero.unifly.dfs Dfs webpage: https://www.dfs.de/dfs_homepage/de/Drohnenflug/Regeln/Drohnen%20in%20Flughafenn%C3%A4he/
I would go with Amazon. They are usually quite fast and they offer one day delivery for the pen:
hey!
momentan ist richtig viel los.

This area is called the Othmarscher Höfe, and is in Othmarschen (OpenStreetMap shows the borders between the suburbs quite well. It's a fairly large residential development which was built around five years ago or so.
As for cool things to do around here - well, the UCI complex is right next door, with a multi-screen cinema, fitness centre, several bars and restaurants, and a bit of shopping. The large sports complex to the northwest was also recently redeveloped (they tore down an allotment area to make room). There are several smaller and a few larger playgrounds in the immediate vicinity. The Jägerkampfbahn to the east (one of the oldest football stadiums in Germany) has regular sports matches.
Being form the North in Germany, I have found this to be one of the few and most accurate books out in the market today.
Widerlich, was Hamburg-Airport-Sprecherin Stefanie Harder da sagt.
On the weekends it runs through all night, during weekdays they stop at around 01:00 in the night and are replaced by night buses, identified by three digit numbers on black background at the bus stops.
It's probably the easiest to use the HVV app for navigation: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.eos.uptrade.android.fahrinfo.hamburg
