I use one of the portable modems from Zain and it streams perfectly fine. I watch 4-5 hours of Netflix/Hulu per day (I know, bad, but I've been watching less lately!).
I use StrongVPN. It's a paid service but I think I paid like $60 for a year. It always works, very fast, customer service was quickly responsive and resolved the issue the one time I had to contact them. Also it's very easy to install on your devices. I have it on my iPhone and iPad but I'm sure it's just as simple on windows/android products.

That being said, for me, the attendance sheet situation is very serious, the fact it was never followed.
I would assume any employee whose attendance is not being followed would take advantage.
So the system/management strategy incentivized lack of attendance and corruption.

Regardless of people, the public system here has incentivized, quite often corruption.
The impunity that some people got through corruption scandals for example must have incentivized corruption.
What is worst is people are forced into corruption in one way or another.
For example, you open a business, you have employees hired, you are paying rent.
Now you need the licensing person to come.

Hey sorry I know this is none of my business but I bought these before and returned them cuz I mainly wanted gaming headphones but these won't work if you want to be in discord for example or in a call while also playing like normal headphones as it would only connect to one source of sounds at a time so you can't listen to music and game for example and the mic quality turns really bad if you disconnect them to be hands free to me the discord issue was the main problem so if you want good gaming headset that's Bluetooth I'd suggest hyperX cloud but mainly used for gaming or at home as it's not low-key and would work with a USB only but a really good suggestion are the barracuda razor gaming headset as it's more low-key with the no RGB and the logo isn't showy and there are three models currently depending on your usage

Hey guys. This all started less than a week after the so called 'coup'. I can tell you so far in my investigation that Zain is the worst and I use them for mobile data and fiber data at home. Orange at work seems to not be affecting VPN traffic as much. They appear to be targeting protocols though. What I mean by that is that on NO service provider have I been able to use Wireguard protocol (aka Nordlynx). It is blocked. I can use IKEv2 on ANY VPN provider, however that makes me suspicious that it might be comprised as alluded to by Snowden, although he specifically mentions IPsec which is IKEv1. Also, OpenVPN TCP or UDP that goes over port 443 can also be blocked by Zain. It appears that they are looking at headers or traffic shape and preventing handshakes between VPN server and client from completing. You can get around this by using Obfuscated servers. ProtonVPN does not have this yet, so only mobile phone client and MacOS client will work with IKEv2. ProtonVPN windows client will fail. NordVPN sucks, I'll agree with other posters but they do have servers in the occupied territory, Cyprus and Turkey and have Obfuscated servers which get around the block. So does VyprVPN (their OpenVPN obfuscation technology is called Chameleon protocol and can get around the great firewall in china) and ExpressVPN. I'm sure there are others but I have a job.
Anyways I hope this provides some extra insight. Zain sucks and they lie about the blocking. I am trying to get Starlink from America to avoid all of this idiotic blocking. Only cowards oppose freedom of speech.

NordVPN has a support article about using IKEv2 on iOS. This assumes whatever filtering method used by the ISP doesn't simply block NordVPN's IP entirely.

I just confirmed with NordVPN that there does appear to be a country wide block on OpenVPN and WireGuard protocols. We did manage to get IKEv2 working, that isn't blocked at least right now. My voip provider was also blocked.
I'm trying to figure out if after this 'thing' that happened last night, if this is a pattern or not. My NordVPN doesn't work, which I use every day and my colleagues vpn with another provider also doesn't work. Connects but all packets are being blocked as the von servers are not receiving the encrypted traffic post handshake.
I am using NordVPN. I have tried OpenVPN TCP and UDP and Wireguard (NordLynx). It will connect to a server in a number of countries but all encrypted traffic after that doesn't reach Nord's servers. In the app it will show a connection is established but no packets are returned.
Also, it's much more dangerous for people to be using some shady free VPN just to watch porn.
I am generally against VPNs because I find them dangerous. You have no idea what the VPN provider does with our data. I honestly trust our local ISPs more than some random company in Panama. I sort of trust Mullvad and ProtonVPN, but not completely. It's almost impossible to trust a corporation completely.

Another week with less than 100% known case growth is good - but still not great. We increase new cases 33% over last week - definitely not a great trend, but not as bad.
I've added weekly tests vs weekly positives, because it helps add the context of the impact of increased testing. (Spoiler- new known cases are growing faster than testing is growing)

I'm probably only going to do weekly moving forward. With schools closed, my life got a lot more complicated.
Good news is that we only had a 50% increase in new cases last week instead of a 100% increase. Hopefully the hospitals can keep up. But as I predicted, we are already into the 10-20 deaths per week level. This will rise as hospitalizations catches up with the growth

Weekend Test Volume is Lower
While we have had a few lower days lately, it is important to note WEEKEND TEST RATES ARE 33% LOWER THAN WEEKDAY TEST RATES. And over the weekend, tests came back 8% positive and 10% positive. If they had tested 20k people instead of 15k and 12k, and those positive rates held, we would have seen numbers closer to 1,500 and 2,000 on Friday and Saturday respectively.
Growth Continues - Testing Slows.
Even though the graphs look like we're catching a break, the 7 day averages for new cases and % positive are still up - and the 7 day average for tests done is decreasing.

I'd highly recommend Zain. There is only one Zain booth in the airport that is located in the baggage claim area (after your speak with the officer and before your big bag is scanned at the exit). I find it is easiest to just get it there so you don't have to deal with it later. Activation is instant. One thing to note...I have an Android (Galaxy S7) and I had to manually configure the APN settings on my phone (iPhone doesnt seem to have issues). Also, when entering Jordan there is a VISA fee of 40JD conveniently with a currency exchange booth across from customs. The rate isn't the best so I'd recommend exchanging what you need to so you gain entry then look for a better place to exchange (Western Union is decent and everywhere).

When you go to the Dead Sea, make sure you dig up mud and put it on you! You can find the mud yourself (and more rewarding that way haha) under bigger rocks about 4 inches under the sand. You will know it when you feel it.
