These things with just a few drops of a blend of lavender & peppermint essential oils, makes your car like a spa. Guaranteed to boost your tips. Paired with quiet jazz, your car is pretty much a mobile nap center. My tips were always really good, and almost always put the aggressive drunks to sleep before we hit the freeway.
That depends on the color of your car. Mine is blue. Trust me it is noticeable with a big white scratch. However I recommend people go on amazon and get Clear Vehicle Vinyl it is cheap and you can put it on with a little soap and water in a spray bottle. Also works well for your skirt by the doors.
The dash is really it. Also, it does not damage any standard dash materials. It peels off without too much difficulty and has not left residue when I have done it.
If you have a standard vinyl or leather dash, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is velvet or flocked, it won't really work.
FYI: The Amp mount is just a short row of neodymium magnets in a plastic base with an adhesive on the bottom. The Amp has a metal plate in the bottom that could stick to any magnetic base.
Just an example: https://www.amazon.com/WizGear-Universal-Dashboard-Swift-snap-Technology/dp/B01MR4AO9D
There are tons of different magnetic mounting versions on Amazon.
If you're on Android there are two apps (that I know of) that facilitate automatic app switching between the two. Both offer free trials so you can decide which you like better:
I first used Mystro and it seemed to work well enough during the 14 day free trial. I'm currently going through my (30 day) free trial of Maxymo. It seems to be a bit buggier BUT....at only 1/4 the monthly price (2.99 vs. 11.99) I can put up with the occasional quirk.
Neither of these work with iPhones because of the way Apple does permissions.
Look like this. It's quite small without the attachments.
https://www.amazon.com/N2-Pro-Infrared-1920x1080P-2560x1440P/dp/B0742J69SQ?ref_=ast_sto_dp This camera seems to be the most used by many drivers. They have others at there store. One for both outside views of the vehicle as well.

Do you mean what kind of Dashcam? It's a Venture N2, dual dashcam. I do it in 1080p FHD @30fps. If you decide to do both, it's 1080p in front and the other camera is 720p only. If you want to see it, this is where you find the Dash-cam on Amazon. I just recently order an additional accessory, with the GPS, which is an $21.99. Probably will go on sale when Prime Day arrvies as well.
You might be able to find a better deal if you browse around some, that's just the first thing that came up
i apologize i was wrong. i went and looked at my camera.
this is the model i used. pro endurance.
i bought 3 of them because there was a sale. they were $22 at the time.

I KNEW my car was lacking something! Thank you for your post as it is cyber monday and Amazon has disco balls and sound activated party lights on sale!
I may not NEED one, but for 10 bucks, I'm getting one!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a fluffy pillow that's at least $15.12 but not more than 15.99? Gotta nail that free shipping.
Robinhood verifies a new device by texting a code to the phone number on file. I presume calling and or emailing a code is also viable, however it isn't stated here https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/verifying-its-you/. It does recommend making contact, medium unknown, without first logging in.
I purchased a Faraday Bag (RFID Signal Blocking Bag Shielding Pouch for Cell Phone Tracking Protection) for this exact reason. I have tested it out with different family members phones and it does block any signal or tracking of a phone.
I will make every reasonable effort to return a phone, keys or other item carelessly left by a rider in my car. However, I will do it on my terms when I am back in that area of town unless the rider provides financial compensation to drop everything and drive to them.
Dont leave home without one. Dont see how anyone drives rideshare without one. Too many crazies out there. This is the one I use. Had for 8 months, no issues.
I put this sign in my car. It comes in a 2 pack, I dont use the one about food and drink but the one about tips and rating is a nice reminder for them....
I use one of these. Plugged into the center console. When they ask for it , I pull it out and hand it to them. Nearly impossible to steal.
I have these rears in my Tesla. Seat Covers It's a good starting point. Visit their store and check out reviews to see what works well for your car.
This is the one i have used. Works pretty well.
One downside to wireless is that if your phone doesn’t “fast charge” It may have trouble increasing battery percentage and might just maintain the level it started at…most modern phones can take more power though.
Does your car have a CD player? This CD player mount is the best mount I’ve ever owned. Keeps my phone cool and in front of the ac. Before, I got a new one every 2-3 months.

Here's one for $70.
$70 isn't going to get you even an hour with a good defense attorney, should you ever require one.
I'm in PDX, and once you get close to downtown, there's no such thing as a public bathroom. Especially after midnight. I buy Travel Janes. They've saved my life on plenty of occasions. They have a gel inside that absorbs liquid, so there's no chance of it spilling. Before midnight, there's a couple grocery stores and Starbucks I can go to. But pulling over and hopping into my back seat is much quicker and easier. Especially on a late Friday or Saturday night and I'm busy with back to rides
I also have a Tinkle Belle, but I need to practice it a bit more before I trust it or myself
I have a 3 in 1 I love. Have purchased 2. Inexpensive. I too use the vent mount. It doesn't over heat and helps keep the phone cool in the summer. The area is just below eye level so it's perfect. But they're cheaply made so only last a year or two. Dunno if this will help or not. Maybe point 🤷 you towards one your looking for.
Car Phone Mount, Vansky 3-in-1... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9BG9ZS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Cup mount is life
I got a Amazon version of that cup mount and it's sick af such a better mount and much safer to use.
Vent mounts are far away, very locked in, and often don't bend up and down. They do have some with that little 3 inch stick but it's just a more complicated vent mount that holds worse. I use big phones so some won't work period. I also do food sometimes so ability to get it on and off mount quick and ez is important.
Also, fk it why not charge as well.
The ones that don't clamp the phone and say they work with magnets and it's really strong good hold are fking liars if it doesn't clamp the sides or do the gravity assisted 3 side clamp, it's useless. Any speed bump or slightly fast turn and that phone is under your seat or worse.
Window types annoy me, auto no go.
Dashboards are ok, but it's even farther than the vent.
IF you simply can't cup mount with the fast wireless charging, the vent mount where you first clamp it to vent then it clamps the phone are the best. Best vent clamp style
.
.
I use one from Anker with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Although it’s a vent mount. It keeps it a couple inches out from the vents. Haven’t had any issues. Dude, get some puke bags from amazon, this has saved my vehicle 6 or 7 times. I dont want a cleaning fee, I dont want puke in my car, I want to to keep driving. I drive the late hours only, and its something about getting in a moving car that stops and goes that throws some into the fatal spin lol. https://www.amazon.com/iSick-Premium-Quality-Morning-Sickness/dp/B079HC7H62/ref=sr\_1\_12?crid=8U3ZFQW68OWL&keywords=puke+bags&qid=1639661722&sprefix=puke%2Caps%2C337&sr=8-12
This happened to me once, Lyft claims it was my bank that wasn’t accepting the express deposit. I called the bank, they said everything was fine, I called Lyft support, they said my bank was indeed on the list of banks accepting express pay. I reentered my debit card info, it started working again. If I had to guess, I would say it was Lyft who was screwing things up. It also could have been an error with the “stripe” service, (they are the ones who do the express pay for Lyft) stripe
Looks like you were approved
When I certified I put no for everything except the question about looking for work
I'd also check in the Unemployment and PUA discord
Lyft uses Stripe for payments. There's this page on Stripe's site that says Bank of America supports "instant transfers" (what Lyft uses for Express Pay) for some of their debit cards, but not all. Maybe you have a certain type of BoA debit that doesn't support it?
absolutely, if you look up more about: https://firebase.google.com to maintain your app, you'll find out that
"if CLLocationManager.locationServicesEnabled() { locationManager.delegate = self locationManager.desiredAccuracy = kCLLocationAccuracyNearestTenMeters locationManager.startUpdatingLocation()"
will only update your location once it detects an update in your gps. that's one common issue for new developers writing swift, we always come from the thought that we can "update every few seconds or minutes" and then it gets tricky until you realize that iOS doesnt send new updated locations unless there is a change or you close & open the app. so if it has been 20 minutes and no updated location on the backend, it means the user hasnt moved.
if you want to implement locationManager on your app, you can find more here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25296691/get-users-current-location-coordinates
I have every grocery store committed to memory, that said, these are awesome. Do your thing, it turns to enclosed gel in bag, tie off in plastic bag provided and toss in the trash. Then give them a $0.15 mask. Even if other drivers aren't giving out masks, the pax aren't going to bring their own if they don't want to wear them. It's just an excuse they are pulling on you so you would give them a pass on the mask. You either cancel or give them a mask. OR you can join the problem and let them ride mask free. I bet the same pax that expect you to give them a mask will say "The last driver didn't make me wear one" if you hand them a free mask.
You'll never win this one. Be a part of the problem or the solution.
Possible I guess. Truth is no one knows except him.
I sometimes observe possible red flags when driving pax. A zipper unzips. Something metallic clings. Since I have no way of knowing what is going on, my mind invents the worst possible scenarios and assumes them as highly probable. 90% of the time I am wrong.
I highly recommend getting one of these.
I just received this one today, but I haven't driven for more than a half hour while sitting on it so far, but it seems comfy without raising me up too far.
I would definitely recommend sitting more upright than you'd usually sit. I decided to try it a few weeks ago and it's made a remarkable difference.
I went through a couple then found my solution....
Beyond back, I was noticing behind my knees hurt and my ass was getting numb driving 60hrs a week.
Also...in my case was helpful to research google for proper seat placement from the steering wheel and seat adjust to level out my body a little more.

Like this I found a $10 at Walmart Amazon example
I would look deeper into that Maryland law about needing consent to video record someone. The camera would be within your property and the Pax is in a public area and visible by the general public. You can also buy stickers from Amazon that you could put down low on your passenger windows that might qualify if the law is as strict as you say. I have a similar dual Uber/Lyft sign with suction cups. I only put it on windshield when I am arriving at pickup location.
To reinforce the acrylic (repetitive use), I added washers between acrylic and nuts and also lined back of acrylic with duct tape.

I smoke in my car all the time.
I also get compliments from more than half of my riders about the smell of my car. First thing I usually he at when they get in after saying hello. Tons of people ask me for what scent I’m using
I use these . I found them originally at 7/11 but they are cheaper here on amazon
I just leave windows open when I smoke. After done with cig, I put it in a smell proof ashtray, then do the spray. 4 pumps, three in the back and one up front. Leave all windows open until I get close to the pickup then I close them. Never an issue, no complaints on my app - 4.99 rating.
I've had a Vantrue N2Pro for about a year and a half.
Shower curtain liner (heavy gauge, clear) and a large roll of adhesive velcro. That's all this is. No need to pay the large markup that seller is charging. Very quick amazon search adhesive velcro 1" x 5 yard $7.50, clear liner $6.50
I would like to recommend the Blueskysea B2W dual dashcam. It has a total of 20% off at checkout (20% amazon coupon.)
Its two lenses are situated in cylindrical housings below the camera, allowing you to rotate them horizontally to cover either/ both of your side windows. A great option to have if you ever get pulled over by police, and would like to record the interaction with the officer.
Blackview or 2 gopro's if you wanna ball out. I have a vantrue n2 pro that was cheap and worked well for about 18 months but it's starting to fail. I'm sure there are better options in that price range now. I'll probably rig up a couple gopro's as replacement soon.
Generally pax don't care. Some have commented that it makes them feel safer, or they acknowledge my personal desire for safety. Just make sure you follow the law, in California I have to have signs posted indicating a/v recording is in progress. $5 worth of stickers two rear windows.
Tbh, if pax aren't ok with it, they can GTFO. My car, I'm following the law, and Lyft terms of service. It's never been an issue though.

Yeah. It's got a 3.2 star rating on the Google Play Store and countless horrible reviews, most of which mention the same or similar issues and experiences. See for yourself: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fair.fairapp
Personally, if an app has a rating below 4 stars with at least 1000 ratings/reviews, I'll read the reviews to see why it's so low, but 98% of the time, they're enough to convince me not to bother touching it.
There's an app called Fair Pilot that I've found to be quite helpful most of the time. It basically shows hotspots around wherever you are, so you drive into one of them and you should get a request within 15 minutes. If you don't, try another hotspot. I use the app whenever I've been driving around, but haven't gotten a request in a while and it usually helps.
Uhh... it's definitely not iOS only.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farepilot
I installed it the other day and haven't tested it much yet, so no review of the app from me, but the events tab seems useful. The hotspot function is probably only good for when you end up in an unfamiliar area, but we'll see.
I DEFINITELY second that about the dash cam. Just bite the bullet, buy it, and then write it off in your taxes. I have a Pyle 3 camera system. Not the best at night with fine details, but still good.

The correct word is introvert vs extrovert.
https://www.amazon.com/Quiet-Power-Introverts-World-Talking/dp/0307352153
I'm surprised you get so many up votes. Some says 1/3 of all people are introverts. Some says the two extremes are rare and most people are in between.
If you are right, that most drivers are socially awkward people, you are in the wrong job and it's costing you a lot. You could have done a lot better in other professions than the few dollar tips over the other drivers. You can handle the boss, works well with other colleagues, and customers like you. For drivers, we can laugh at pax if they ask for water!
Something like this handheld spot cleaner is on my list.
Alternately, I love my insulated travel mug. Starbucks stores are currently carrying their "January Mug", which is $40; sometimes stores will sell out, so you may have to ask around to a few stores for one. It will ring up as a free brewed coffee or tea every day in January. The silver one is this year, the black one is last year. Other drinks are still regular price, and it can obviously be used at any other coffee place or gas station he happens to stop at.
I'm assuming here that things like chargers, holders, and other electronic related gadgets are already in hand.
If you have an Android device, use Mystro https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=partners.driver.mystro&hl=en_US

There is a fundamental difference, I have to put up with a certain amount of employers/customers shit to a point of civility at a day job, I don't have to put up with it as an IC because the control is mine.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0742J69SQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's a little pricey, but it works really well, recording the interior as well. Apparently I need to get a sticker for my window that says "You are being recorded" or something. None of the pax have actually asked about it, and I turn the LCD monitor off so it doesn't draw attention.
The problem is that no matter what regular cleaning product you use, you still have biological material / bacteria down into the fibers of the fabric and/or carpet. You need to remove that contaminant from the material, otherwise you're just trying to neutralize or cover it up.
Buy a hot water extractor upholstery cleaner, they can be found for about $120-$150. Every time someone does something like that from this point forward is profit, plus if you do this once a month your car will always smell fabulous.
This is what I have: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rug-doctor-portable-spot-cleaner-red/5381104.p?skuId=5381104

Seriously, you can't go wrong with this. Just write monthly expenses (car, phone, insurance etc) in there as well and it's all in one neat spot come tax season. Plus if you're a few miles off from tax write offs its easier to fudge a few miles here and there. Can't do that with the app. :)
Not saying I do but it's a nice unintended feature.
