That depends on the color of your car. Mine is blue. Trust me it is noticeable with a big white scratch. However I recommend people go on amazon and get Clear Vehicle Vinyl it is cheap and you can put it on with a little soap and water in a spray bottle. Also works well for your skirt by the doors.
The dash is really it. Also, it does not damage any standard dash materials. It peels off without too much difficulty and has not left residue when I have done it.
If you have a standard vinyl or leather dash, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is velvet or flocked, it won't really work.
FYI: The Amp mount is just a short row of neodymium magnets in a plastic base with an adhesive on the bottom. The Amp has a metal plate in the bottom that could stick to any magnetic base.

If you're on Android there are two apps (that I know of) that facilitate automatic app switching between the two. Both offer free trials so you can decide which you like better:
I first used Mystro and it seemed to work well enough during the 14 day free trial. I'm currently going through my (30 day) free trial of Maxymo. It seems to be a bit buggier BUT....at only 1/4 the monthly price (2.99 vs. 11.99) I can put up with the occasional quirk.
Neither of these work with iPhones because of the way Apple does permissions.

Do you mean what kind of Dashcam? It's a Venture N2, dual dashcam. I do it in 1080p FHD @30fps. If you decide to do both, it's 1080p in front and the other camera is 720p only. If you want to see it, this is where you find the Dash-cam on Amazon. I just recently order an additional accessory, with the GPS, which is an $21.99. Probably will go on sale when Prime Day arrvies as well.

Robinhood verifies a new device by texting a code to the phone number on file. I purchased a Faraday Bag (RFID Signal Blocking Bag Shielding Pouch for Cell Phone Tracking Protection) for this exact reason. I have tested it out with different family members phones and it does block any signal or tracking of a phone.
I will make every reasonable effort to return a phone, keys or other item carelessly left by a rider in my car. However, I will do it on my terms when I am back in that area of town unless the rider provides financial compensation to drop everything and drive to them.

I use an iOttie phone mount that charges wirelessly. As in, there is no cord from my phone to the mount/charger, but of course the charger itself needs juice, so it has a cord that connects to a 12V outlet thing (that has one usb port on it for charging additional things).
I used some tiny cheap sticky clips that I got on Amazon to kind of guide the cord down to the left of my steering wheel, and then over and down to the 12V outlet, to keep it out of the way. There are parts of my dash that are smooth, so I put the clips on those parts and it looks fine. I figure the tape that holds the clips in place wouldn't be *too* hard to get off of there, but I doubt it would be a good idea on the pebble-grainy parts of the dash.
I have an iphone 13 with an average case, not super thick but not super thin either. I use a popsocket on my phone case but I had to put it kinda way up high next to the cameras so that it would leave the main part of the back of the case open and clear to make good contact / interface with the mount/charger so it would charge. The popsocket is still great, even though it's not in the optimal position.
The phone mount has a really *really* strong silicone suction cup that is like iron (once accidentally ran over a median and it wobbled a little but stayed in place no problem). I mounted it on my windshield way on the left side, and the mount and phone only barely intrude into my windshield view. Most of it is just in front of the column ('A' column?) at the edge of the windshield, so my view is pretty unobstructed. It's easy to reach and it really works well for me. Highly recommended.

I'm in PDX, and once you get close to downtown, there's no such thing as a public bathroom. Especially after midnight. I buy Travel Janes. They've saved my life on plenty of occasions. They have a gel inside that absorbs liquid, so there's no chance of it spilling. Before midnight, there's a couple grocery stores and Starbucks I can go to. But pulling over and hopping into my back seat is much quicker and easier. Especially on a late Friday or Saturday night and I'm busy with back to rides

I have a 3 in 1 I love. Have purchased 2. Inexpensive. I too use the vent mount. It doesn't over heat and helps keep the phone cool in the summer. The area is just below eye level so it's perfect. But they're cheaply made so only last a year or two. Dunno if this will help or not. Maybe point 🤷 you towards one your looking for.

I got a Amazon version of that cup mount and it's sick af such a better mount and much safer to use.
Vent mounts are far away, very locked in, and often don't bend up and down. They do have some with that little 3 inch stick but it's just a more complicated vent mount that holds worse. I use big phones so some won't work period. I also do food sometimes so ability to get it on and off mount quick and ez is important.
Also, fk it why not charge as well.
The ones that don't clamp the phone and say they work with magnets and it's really strong good hold are fking liars if it doesn't clamp the sides or do the gravity assisted 3 side clamp, it's useless. Any speed bump or slightly fast turn and that phone is under your seat or worse.
Window types annoy me, auto no go.
Dashboards are ok, but it's even farther than the vent.
IF you simply can't cup mount with the fast wireless charging, the vent mount where you first clamp it to vent then it clamps the phone are the best. Best vent clamp style

This happened to me once, Lyft claims it was my bank that wasn’t accepting the express deposit. I called the bank, they said everything was fine, I called Lyft support, they said my bank was indeed on the list of banks accepting express pay. I reentered my debit card info, it started working again. If I had to guess, I would say it was Lyft who was screwing things up. It also could have been an error with the “stripe” service, (they are the ones who do the express pay for Lyft) stripe

Lyft uses Stripe for payments. There's this page on Stripe's site that says Bank of America supports "instant transfers" (what Lyft uses for Express Pay) for some of their debit cards, but not all. Maybe you have a certain type of BoA debit that doesn't support it?

will only update your location once it detects an update in your gps. that's one common issue for new developers writing swift, we always come from the thought that we can "update every few seconds or minutes" and then it gets tricky until you realize that iOS doesnt send new updated locations unless there is a change or you close & open the app. so if it has been 20 minutes and no updated location on the backend, it means the user hasnt moved.

I sometimes observe possible red flags when driving pax. A zipper unzips. Something metallic clings. Since I have no way of knowing what is going on, my mind invents the worst possible scenarios and assumes them as highly probable. 90% of the time I am wrong.

I have a similar dual Uber/Lyft sign with suction cups. I only put it on windshield when I am arriving at pickup location.
To reinforce the acrylic (repetitive use), I added washers between acrylic and nuts and also lined back of acrylic with duct tape.

I just leave windows open when I smoke. After done with cig, I put it in a smell proof ashtray, then do the spray. 4 pumps, three in the back and one up front. Leave all windows open until I get close to the pickup then I close them. Never an issue, no complaints on my app - 4.99 rating.
I've had a Vantrue N2Pro for about a year and a half.

- Update the firmware to the latest version before use
- Get 2 or 3 MicroSD cards and swap them out. They're cheap on Amazon. A 128GB will easily hold an 8 hour shift worth of HD video. A 256GB card will hold a couple days so you don't have to swap it out as often. This way if someone makes a complaint three days after the ride, you haven't overwritten the video yet. Or you could use Handbrake on your computer to transcode the video to a format that takes about 1/40th the space on a hard drive at home from one card while you're out driving with another card in the camera. That way you can store months of video if you're worried about liability.
- Get a longer USB-B cable (like 10 feet) to run along the headliner of the car and down the A pillar so you don't have the provided cable hanging straight down, or if you're feeling adventurous, buy Vantrue's kit to wire the camera directly to the fuse box so it has power even when the ignition is off and you have one less cable going to your accessory outlet.

Its two lenses are situated in cylindrical housings below the camera, allowing you to rotate them horizontally to cover either/ both of your side windows. A great option to have if you ever get pulled over by police, and would like to record the interaction with the officer.
Blackview or 2 gopro's if you wanna ball out. I have a vantrue n2 pro that was cheap and worked well for about 18 months but it's starting to fail. I'm sure there are better options in that price range now. I'll probably rig up a couple gopro's as replacement soon.

Personally, if an app has a rating below 4 stars with at least 1000 ratings/reviews, I'll read the reviews to see why it's so low, but 98% of the time, they're enough to convince me not to bother touching it.
There's an app called Fair Pilot that I've found to be quite helpful most of the time. It basically shows hotspots around wherever you are, so you drive into one of them and you should get a request within 15 minutes. If you don't, try another hotspot. I use the app whenever I've been driving around, but haven't gotten a request in a while and it usually helps.

I'm surprised you get so many up votes. Some says 1/3 of all people are introverts. Some says the two extremes are rare and most people are in between.
If you are right, that most drivers are socially awkward people, you are in the wrong job and it's costing you a lot. You could have done a lot better in other professions than the few dollar tips over the other drivers. You can handle the boss, works well with other colleagues, and customers like you. It's a little pricey, but it works really well, recording the interior as well. Apparently I need to get a sticker for my window that says "You are being recorded" or something. None of the pax have actually asked about it, and I turn the LCD monitor off so it doesn't draw attention.
The problem is that no matter what regular cleaning product you use, you still have biological material / bacteria down into the fibers of the fabric and/or carpet. You need to remove that contaminant from the material, otherwise you're just trying to neutralize or cover it up.
Buy a hot water extractor upholstery cleaner, they can be found for about $120-$150. Every time someone does something like that from this point forward is profit, plus if you do this once a month your car will always smell fabulous.

I also own a proper high pressure steam cleaner for getting harder items out of carpet.

The steam cleaner isn't as important, but it can help. I bought it to remove melted crayons out of two cars with black carpet (I have kids, it happens), worked great.

Seriously, you can't go wrong with this. Just write monthly expenses (car, phone, insurance etc) in there as well and it's all in one neat spot come tax season. Plus if you're a few miles off from tax write offs its easier to fudge a few miles here and there. Can't do that with the app. :)
