Using Ultimate Upgrade tokens at level 1 is something we definitely want to do.

The backend tech is a bit complicated since a hero's Ultimate Power was coded slightly different from regular powers, so modifying it before you unlock it is currently not supported.

However, I am going to reopen the discussion right now (sending an email) and see if the new tech we have added over the months makes this easier.

Punchclops will indeed be able to punch after this review. His review keeps his Martial Arts tree (and makes it slightly better / more fun), but greatly expands his Leadership tree to make it A+ cool. His review also includes some amazing new VFX that are in development. I expect it will take another 12 weeks or so in the pipeline, but perhaps faster. Yes, the devs definitely read comics and are more excited than ever about tying in with Marvel editorial department.

We like where Team-Ups are now, but I have heard this feedback from a few people. I agree that it would be nice to see and hear them more. I like the way that BRB comes down and casts lightning. It would be fun he said more. I could see us doing more of that in the future. As for the Tank-status, that wasn't really the intent. You are the hero in this game and it's nice to have someone help out, but the focus should be on you.

Did you do that all at once? O.o Yes -- a revamp to the crafting UI is in the works. There are some easy QoL fixes that could help a bunch. We will also be making some overall improvements to the system.

Earth X Thor is still going through development, although it already looks very sweet. Thor's 52 review is scheduled for after Jean and Cyclops. It has already started in the early stages. The entire process of a level 52 review is almost as long as a new hero (since every team in the studio is involved) but it's humming along.

• 1. We have a huge number of Iron Fist fans in the office and at Marvel. He is on the short list for new heroes and we have some cool ideas for his mechanics. I am 100% sure he would be in either the next Advance Pack or the one afterwards.

• 2. I could see a version of White Tiger as a team-up in the future, but we have a list of Team-Ups we want to release beforehand. The amount of Team-Up Heroes is extremely deep and very exciting.

We have been going back and doing touch ups for any hero models that aren't working as well as the newer stuff. We will keep doing that. Quicksilver is planned as a Team-Up for the Age of Ultron movie (or earlier). Having speedster's as playable is easy enough to do, but most people's connections would be able to handle someone traveling insanely fast through any game, so it may come off as 'too slow" as a playable hero. Polaris is something we will do eventually, as a Team-Up and/or Hero. Everyone agrees she is awesome.

We agree that the rewards for PvP need to be looked at. PvP has been improving steadily over the last few months and we have some pretty big improvements coming with ladder tech and better grouping. Having other PvP modes (like a FFA midtown) would help a lot as well. Making PvP part of an ARPG is a challenge, but we believe we can give good reasons for people to play it. They have been able to accomplish it in other MMOs (like WoW) and it comes down to rewards and notoriety.

We have been considering a few different ideas, but nothing solid yet. We agree that there should be other ways to acquire it. We've talked about them dropping as well as other ideas. We will let everyone know if and when we do add any way. Right now, it is one of the big things to work towards.

Both definitely have some interesting stories and could have a full hero of powersets.

Neither is on the short list of heroes, but both of them are definitely something we would consider in the upcoming months and years of the game.

We went round and round with the idea of sharing Legendary Quests with a party. It is something we really liked on the surface. In the end, there were way too many min/max play-patterns that could lead or force people into bad game experiences that we didn't want our players to get dragged into. We have the shared daily quests and we are working on variety for those and a bit of UI change.

I don't know how long it will be, but it is something we hear requested a lot. I would guess we would do it in the future. With more team-ups we want to encourage people to try out new ones.

Every so often I come across threads there about deleted threads, someone who disagreed with Gazillion or said something bad about something they did. They're shocked and surprised that they don't have some first amendment protected right to free speech (does not apply of course).

The total time played by all players is an interesting figure, as it speaks to the mythical 'player count' that everyone here loves to argue about.

Super ballpark numbers here, since many certainly play more and many certainly play less--this is totally random speculation, before you grab that pitchfork.

If you assume 2 hours per day per player, and the full 366 days in 2016, that works out to around 30k players who are at least logged in (probably includes spam accounts, since the figure is curiously specific with the phrase 'time spent in-game'). Which is not terrible. If 2 hours/day is a low estimate, then the population numbers look worse, but being more generous and assuming only 1 hour/day puts the number at ~60k. Maybe not Blizzard numbers, but pretty good.

However. F2P games live and die by conversion. Sixty thousand active players is great, but how many of them spend money? How much do they spend? How often do they spend it? Conversion rates are hard to pin down, as lots of companies don't publicly admit figures, but as an example Gaben once spoke about a 20-30% conversion for Team Fortress 2, which has ~50k active users at a given moment. Even a crazy 50% conversion rate doesn't look like it would generate revenue fast enough to support the game, let alone the entire company.

In any case, this is again just speculation on my part since we have no confirmed figure other than this one, and you have to make a ton of assumptions to get anywhere with it. But it does leave me wanting to maybe give Gazillion a break and buy a costume or two so /u/Asros gets to eat lunch next week.

The program edits your INI file to crank down the graphics settings to make the game run better on lesser Pcs. I have 3gb of ram, and I can only play for about 15 minutes, then RAM gets filled up and the game crashes. When I enable "My computer is a potato" mode with this program, I can play for a couple hours without a crash.

FPS-wise, you might see an improvement with this program

There are literally benchmarks to prove what I am saying. I didn't say AMD is unusable or anything to that nature, but CPU and GPU at each "level" usually favor Intel/Nvidia. I've spent $232 of real money, and about $255 from Bing Rewards credits spent at GameStop for Steam Wallet and Marvel Heroes G cards.

Unzip. Open Achievements.html. Search box is at the top. Checkbox on the bottom right of each achievement, toggles it completed/not completed.

There are typos/missing info though, mostly achievements that have a laundry list of subqualifications that were parsed incorrectly. But for personal use I didn't care about polish. If you like it thank @Mjoll though. Parsed a section of the marvel heroes compendium for all the achievements. Then injected the raw csv file into a html template and used some common javascript libraries for the functionality.

To /u/Mystyxal: Check the build list for one where the creator actually describes the rotation. There are duplicate builds on marvelinfo, some with description some without.
If that fails, keep in mind that usually you start your combos with debilitating skills, then heavy hitters (with your signature if its off cooldown) then spamming spenders until you need a skill to fill up your mana.
Most heroes usually have this scheme in common. (f.e.: start with skill which makes enemy vulnerable followed by skill which weakens them, pop your sig, use heavy hitter, spam spender.)

My advice is to read every skill description to understand how they synergize.

Okay so these are the steps I have taken so far: did the 3 things on the second post on this thread http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/506321/i-accidentally-installed-some-adware/ . Then I downloaded MalwareBytes and scanned and it deleted some stuff. After that I used the ESET online scanner and let it scanned my entire system (took like 15 hours lol) and it also found and quarantined some stuff. After that I rebooted in safe mode in minimal and scanned with MalwareBytes again, it didn't find anything. I then downloaded Spybot and updated it before rebooting in safe mode in minimal and scanned. It found a bunch of those usual cookies and stuff, but I deleted them anyways. Started the game and it looks like it still shows those weird ads just like the screenshot. Logged in to the test client as well and it also showed that too. Right now I uninstalled Marvel Heroes and reinstalling it, to see whether this make any difference (you never know heh). Both Internet Explorer or Firefox doesn't show any abnormal ads like the screenshot that I posted, so not sure if this is local to this kind of display. I don't have any other games that uses this type of in-game store browser installed, so I can't check whether or not it's affecting that area in general.

None whatsoever, not really. Mac is an acceptable gaming platform if you have a relatively speaking casual interest in games, mostly play cross-platform indie games, and prefer it as a platform for other reasons. It does have the best emulation platform on any system right now in the form of OpenEmu but other than that it's not a better gaming platform than Windows.

Most people I know though aren't only interested in games. They have lives and hobbies and care about other things. Macs have some best-in-class tools for doing all sorts of things that aren't playing video games. For me, being able to play games is a bonus and not the primary draw of a computer. My favorite genres are also mostly localized to consoles and handhelds -- yes hello kart racers, party games, fighters and JRPGs -- so I scratch my gaming itch elsewhere.

Marvel Heroes works fine on Mac, and for people who already have and use a Mac, because it works better for them for what they need to do, the "use windows" advice is uninformed, insulting, pointless, and juvenile.

Storm's next costume is not settled yet, but there are a few options. I would be interested in hearing you opinion in the Storm forums. She has a good amount already, so we want the next one to be really great. Wiccan is still planned for Scarlet Witch. We are talking with licensing about exactly what we need to do in terms of changing flavor and such. That's usually the toughest negotiation for enhanced costumes that are a different person than the original hero.

Anyway, back on topic. I've looked into Empyrion and it looks pretty great. I've dabbled a bit with Star-Made which is a game that is basically in the same vein. Star-Made is kinda clunky and obtuse though and nowhere near as polished.

I I like to "build" stations with a genre in mind but my tastes aren't limited by genres, so I've recently been listen to the "Full Shuffle". Here's the thing though, Music is subjective. Aint nobody can tell you what you will or won't like. And just cause someone else likes it don't mean you will. I already have Private Internet Access for other stuff ^winkwinknudgenudge , but I was chatting with a few people in-game and they said they were having trouble with free VPNs like Hola, I made sure they knew to delete the site's cookies but they already had. You could try a proxy site like hidemyass.com or whatever else. Someone thought they may have caught on that people were using VPNs so they blocked them, but I find that pretty unbelievable. In regards to the Razer Naga Hex recommendations. It's what I use and it's perfect for MH.

In response to your actual question, I'd suggest Ghost Rider. Set right-click to Damnation (Hellfire or Hellfire Beam at lower levels), set left-click to Penance Stare. If you've got spare buttons you can bind them to his other damage layers or maybe Medkit use, but those two powers should be enough to clear most areas. You could also pick Scarlet Witch and max out Chaos Warp, or Deadpool with Canadian Devil.

I love this argument. So annoying and completely illogical. I never said anything about this being my network of friends did I? Sure, I have friends that game on consolers and yes, they all do have controllers for their PCs too. But I am talking about beyond that small amount of people. Do you not go to any gaming blogs, forums, or anywhere but here? You hear about it everywhere how people want controller support for games because they are so used to it for their consoles. This isn't a small demographic, this is millions upon millions of people. Every new game release I see people asking if it will have controller support, its so common place now it's absolutely ridiculous to even think of releasing a game without it.

Garth Ennis' run on The Punisher is absolutely Legendary, and probably some of his best work. This is more adult oriented material with graphic violence and language, so it's not for everyone but it definitely does the Punisher justice.
